The speaker questions why Kamala Harris hasn't met with him or given interviews, suggesting she's controlled by handlers and an "apparatus" of neocons who are pushing the country toward World War 3 and censoring dissenting voices. He contrasts this with Trump, who readily gives interviews, even to critical reporters. He recalls his uncle Teddy Kennedy, despite ideological differences and personal animosity toward Carter, admired Ronald Reagan's ability to inspire and unite the country with a clear vision. The speaker argues that a key function of a president is to articulate a vision and inspire pride, which is impossible without engaging in interviews. He notes Harris has avoided unscripted interviews, even with friendly news outlets, while he actively seeks them out to promote his vision.

- Speaker 0 notes that vaccines and boosters are readily available, testing has been dramatically scaled with millions of rapid tests, and that 82 percent of adult Americans have taken the vaccine. He states that those not vaccinated are nine times more likely to be hospitalized or die from the virus, and emphasizes that the country is in a different place than a year ago, with ongoing work to fight the virus. - On the strategic petroleum reserve (SPR), Speaker 0 explains that the release totals 50,000,000 barrels, with 18,000,000 already congressionally required and accelerated by the president to provide immediate relief. The remaining 32,000,000 comes from an exchange, putting barrels on the market now in exchange for their return in the future. He describes the exchange as a tool matched to the current economic environment and notes the aim to lower costs for the American people, particularly gas prices ahead of the holiday season, while acknowledging the pandemic’s impact on the global cost of goods and gas. He also mentions pressing OPEC+ to increase supply and using every tool at the administration’s disposal to help working families. - When pressed about the 50,000,000 barrels figure, Speaker 0 refrains from further detail beyond the explanation that 18,000,000 were congressionally required and the rest come from the exchange arrangement. - On China, Speaker 0 clarifies that the president did not intend to separate China publicly, saying China may do more, but the president does not want to speak for any country. He notes that the president has had conversations with other countries and that the national security team has communicated with them; announcements will be made by those countries themselves. Speaker 1 asks whether the president spoke with Xi Jinping; Speaker 0 confirms they did talk, as referenced in a readout issued afterward, and that the president asked China to discuss helping with supply, without detailing further. - Regarding Ukraine, Speaker 1 asks for updates on White House assessments and plans for a possible phone call with President Putin. Speaker 0 says there is nothing to preview at this time, but reiterates that the United States remains in very close contact with European partners.

I found it interesting that Putin didn't criticize Joe Biden or NATO during our conversation. As an American, it would feel strange to badmouth the American president to a foreign leader, even if I have doubts about Biden's presidency. It just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned.

Hey guys, my name is Olesia and I'm a former employee of the so called Troll Fabric in Kyiv, Ukraine. Today I want to tell you something about this structure and some reasons why I have left this job. I may be wrong but I think it's the first time somebody published insider materials on this topic since 2019 when a journalist infiltrated the office in Kyiv to make a report about it. And back then I did realize that it was a troll fabric. But, you know, I told myself it's okay because I always supported President Zelenskyy and I still do. At first the job was focused on supporting President Zelenskyy online, like writing positive comments or posts, etc. So, we were mostly working on Facebook and Instagram. As time passed, I was transferred from the Ukrainian department, which worked for Ukrainian audience, to the English speaking department, which were focused on the English speaking public, like Americans and Europeans. But the doubts remain the same. Support for president Zelenskyy, support for Ukraine and Ukrainian Warfork. We also had French, German, and Italian departments. I heard some other officers in were hiring people who spoke Finnish and also Swedish and Estonian. About a half year ago our main chef in command, Andrei Borisovich Jermak, paid us a visit. I'm pretty sure you have heard of the head of President Zelensky office. Really it was an unusual event for the main figure behind our project to come visit the office. So he came with some English speaking officials who were introduced to us as the American partners. We were told that they were very important guests but no further details. Some of my colleagues told me that they were CIA. During the visit, they said that our field of work is expanding and we were told that our new target was The United States Of America, especially the upcoming elections. Long story short, we were asked to do everything to prevent Donald Trump from winning the elections. So basically, this topic added to our main lines of work. Since then, each of us had to post at least three or five posts daily, posing as Americans and Europeans, criticizing Donald Trump and praising Biden. The Americans have even organized a few lectures for us to get a better understanding of American politics and American mindset and main social and politics issues. Then we were occupied with the topics for the job which sounded like this. Unlike Trump, Biden is a smart and experienced politician. Unlike Trump, Biden will never betray NATO partners. Trump will alienate our partners. Also, Biden will not abandon Ukraine, and Biden will protect democracy while Trump is Putin's puppet. I honestly tried to convince myself it's okay since Biden is a clear option for Ukraine. But, you know, it was too much for me. Some of my colleagues felt really nervous too. One thing is to work for the best interest of my country, but interfering in US politics is a whole other thing.

I met with the opposition and the foreign minister this weekend. It's up to the Ukrainian people to decide the path forward, but discussions are happening. These are more than discussions. Top US officials are on the ground, discussing a plan to broker a future government, involving the UN. The US is midwifing the process. These are private diplomatic conversations where we discuss UN involvement. It's dishonest to say we don't have an opinion. There's a difference between private discussions and our public position. As diplomats, we discuss a range of options. Saying privately you're cooking up a deal, then saying publicly it's up to Ukrainians, those are different positions. Diplomatic discussions are sensitive, but those are totally different positions. You're overstating a private phone call.

Oscar Blue for Real America’s Voice reports on a large migrant caravan leaving the southern border, estimated at 2,500 to 3,000 people. The banner at the front reads “no more blood, no more migrant blood.” He notes this will be his twelfth caravan under the Biden administration, and describes the situation as ongoing crisis and tragedy for migrants. He explains the path migrants take to reach the point in Mexico, including extortion and loss of life in the Darien, and asserts that the current situation is influenced by open border policies and the Global Compact for Migration. Blue says migrants are incentivized by these policies and by political actors who view them as a resource for political gain. Mexican authorities are attempting to manage the situation and treat migrants with dignity, but Blue says the migrants are frustrated by delays in the CBP1/immigration appointment process, which can take three to six months, and thus decide to continue walking in caravans. He notes this is the fourth caravan leaving in less than a month from southern Mexico. Blue interviews the caravan’s spokesperson, a young man in his mid-twenties, who acknowledges concerns about infiltrated individuals inside the caravan who might extract information or influence the group for political purposes. The spokesperson states that there are infiltrated people, and that some seek to learn who is being paid by which party. Regarding the U.S. elections, the spokesperson says the situation is being used to send a message to the next administration to be more conscious of what is happening in the south. When asked about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, he says, “we know that Donald Trump is a great businessman. He had the economy booming like no other president, but we know Kamala Harris is the one that is also accepting, and it is normalizing the entrance for more migrants to enter into The United States Of America.” The spokesperson adds, “We are not going to wait for political decisions; we just want to send a message to the next administration.” Blue reiterates that around 2,500 people are leaving today, on election day, with the caravan moving from the South Border toward Mexico City and then to the United States. He captures the caravan’s ongoing pattern, stating, “How’s everybody doing? … Behind me, you will see a migrant caravan of around 2,500 migrants that they're leaving the South Border in the intention to go to the city of Mexico from the city of Mexico to go all the way to The United States Of America.”

The Megyn Kelly Show

Activists Capturing Institutions, Censorship and Twitter Toxicity, and Woke Untruths, w/ Sam Harris
Guests: Sam Harris
reSee.it Podcast Summary
Megyn Kelly welcomes Sam Harris back to her show, reflecting on their previous conversation in December 2020, which covered topics like political tribalism, race, cancel culture, and the rise of victimhood. Harris discusses his recent withdrawal from Twitter, noting its negative impact on his life and society. He emphasizes the psychological experiment that social media represents and how it distorts perceptions of reality. Harris identifies himself as a centrist, critiquing both the left and right for their extreme partisanship. He expresses disdain for Trumpism and highlights Trump's refusal to accept a peaceful transfer of power as a significant turning point in American politics. He argues that while he opposes Trump, he also believes in fair criticism and context, particularly regarding misleading clips used against Trump. The conversation shifts to the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, where Harris clarifies his previous comments, stating that he believes the media's decision to suppress the story was a complex judgment call. He maintains that the corruption associated with Trump far outweighs any potential issues with Hunter Biden, asserting that the public already knows enough about both figures to make informed decisions. Harris and Kelly discuss the rise of wokeism and its impact on institutions, with Harris expressing concern over the suppression of free speech and the distortion of truth in the name of social justice. He argues that extreme ideologies on both sides are damaging, and institutions must resist mob mentality and uphold standards of discourse. The discussion also touches on the Dalai Lama's controversial behavior with a child, which Harris finds bizarre but not necessarily indicative of pedophilia, emphasizing the need for a nuanced understanding of cultural differences. Finally, they explore the upcoming presidential election, with Harris expressing skepticism about candidates who align with Trumpism but remaining open to supporting reasonable Republican candidates. He critiques Kamala Harris for her pandering to the far left and questions her electability. The conversation concludes with a commitment to revisit political discussions as the election approaches.
