We all deserve better. Our country has issues with racism and patriarchy. While systemic change may be challenging, you can make a difference in your immediate environment.

Slavery was common across civilizations, not just in the West. It was not solely based on race. Many different races owned slaves, including black people and Native Americans. The US government fought to end slavery, and reparations may not be the best solution. Western civilization was the first to reject slavery morally, so we should not feel ashamed but proud.

Our communities are becoming more diverse with the continuous influx of immigrants from various backgrounds. This is something we should embrace and be proud of. In fact, by 2017, people of Caucasian European descent will be in the minority in the United States for the first time. This shift in demographics is not a negative thing, but rather a reflection of our evolving society.

The removal of Asian and African American days from the military has upset many. However, the military's primary focus should be on training. These celebrations take valuable time away from essential training in navigation, weapons qualification, and convoy operations, which are crucial for soldier safety on the battlefield. If such celebrations are desired, they should be held after hours, as attendance is likely to be low.

White people don't understand why Black people don't "just get a job," while Black people remember slavery and Jim Crow. Similarly, white people, focused on personal pursuits, don't grasp Jewish historical oppression from pharaohs to Hitler. Jews feel perpetually threatened, remembering persecution and vowing to overcome enemies. While white people want to get along, Jews see potential anti-Semitism rooted in historical events. Blacks and Hispanics are focused on their communities, struggles, and histories, like the Mexican-American War. Jews focus on historical persecutions. White people are told to ignore these issues and focus on a "multiracial meritocracy," VR, AI, and personal pursuits, while others "go to war with Iran" and "take over the world."

Union members should be thanked for the five-day work week. Union members should be thanked for sick leave. Union members should be thanked for paid leave. Union members should be thanked for vacation time.

I suggest everyone educate themselves. Trump has accomplished more for the country than any other president, doesn't take a salary, and has helped the black community more than Obama. It's time to wake up, pay attention, and educate yourself on global events. If you do, you'll stand with us.

Problems in the black community increased with welfare programs. Almost every society had slavery, including the Aztecs, Persians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Vikings, and especially the Arab world, who took about 17 million people from Africa. The British and Americans were rare in abolishing slavery. The British Navy sank around 1,600 slave ships and freed 150,000 people. Saudi Arabia only recently abolished the slave trade, and the global slavery index estimates over 700,000 slaves still exist there. American slavery was horrible but not unique. Focusing solely on America's evils hasn't improved race relations.

While I don't believe in the concept of Islamophobia, I do acknowledge the word's existence and its negative impact. Over the past two decades, Muslim grievance mongering and knee-jerk reactions have made us aware of Islamophobia as a tool used to silence criticism of Islam. We have also become aware of the double standards and special treatment demanded by some Muslims. Islamic doctrine clashes with our values, and the arrival of Islam in the West has caused division and mistrust. We are aware of the violence committed by some Muslims against Jews and gays, and the hypocrisy of those who complain about trivial matters but ignore serious crimes. Islamophobia is a discredited term, and it's time to focus on the real issues at hand.
