Somebody has to stand up to the bullshit going on in this country and in this city.

150 years ago, people didn't need government permission for everyday activities like fishing, owning property, starting a business, or even setting up a lemonade stand. I dedicated my life to this battle. Despite being unfairly interrupted, this time is better because we've witnessed the incompetence of those in charge. We can achieve the unimaginable, and people won't complain because of the crime, job losses, factory closures, and issues with Afghanistan and Ukraine. They will demand swift changes. Just three years ago, we had a strong economy and the most secure borders in our nation's history.

I believe the scariest words in English are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

We used to handle immigration differently in the past. Nowadays, it's harder. Take a nice woman with kids, for example. She shouldn't be here, but the children are beautiful. Back in Dwight Eisenhower's time, nobody complained. Our country was different then.

They don't really care about us.

It's getting harder to have intellectual debates with some people. The level of stupidity displayed daily is embarrassing, especially coming from those in Congress. The ridiculous things they say highlight the dumbing down of the United States. How else could we have had a Trump presidency?

Other countries graduate more scientists than the US, and education is to blame. Politicians hide behind the flag, the Bible, and children. The real owners of the country, wealthy business interests, control everything. Politicians are just there to make you think you have a choice. They don't want a population capable of critical thinking, just obedient workers. They want your retirement money and will give it to their Wall Street friends. The game is rigged, but most Americans remain ignorant. The American dream is a lie, and you have to be asleep to believe it.

Obama in 2009 discussed immigration, emphasizing it wouldn't be easy, requiring fines, English learning, and waiting in line for citizenship. He stressed the need for control to prevent illegal border crossings. Improving government is incredibly difficult. The most difficult challenge is overcoming entropy, a battle physics tells us is impossible to win. The second most difficult is overcoming bureaucracy. It's a monumental struggle; bureaucracy is the penultimate battle in the fight for better government.

If you're not happy in this country, you can leave. If you hate our country, you can leave. If you're complaining all the time, you can leave right now. You can come back if you want, or don't come back. But if you're not happy, you can leave.

People don't appreciate what they have, complaining about it. I'm upset that our past efforts are being wasted, with the country deteriorating. The fun and opportunities I had growing up are gone. It's not what I want, not what they died for. It's just not the same.

The only time the government's got any use for us is in a war. Rest of the time, we're an embarrassment to him; they only need so many of us to do the things that need doing. So they'd spray our food, put things in the water to keep us down. Well, they do it to rabbits. He used to grow all his own food. He only had a window box.
