It's been only 44 days, but tonight, I'll address a point on Capitol Hill. Six weeks ago, I stood here and proclaimed the dawn of a golden age. Since then, we've taken swift action to usher in the greatest era in our country's history. Tonight, I report that America's momentum, spirit, and pride are back. America is back. Americans have given us a mandate for bold change. My administration is fighting for the future America deserves. We are draining the swamp; the days of unelected bureaucrats are over. In six weeks, I've signed nearly 100 executive orders and taken over 400 executive actions to restore common sense, safety, optimism, and wealth. Despite efforts to censor, silence, break, and destroy us, Americans are a proud, free, sovereign, and independent nation. Get ready for an incredible future because the golden age of America has only just begun.

Thank you all for being here. It's great to see so many friends. We had an incredible election, winning the popular vote by a million and all seven swing states. We built 571 miles of wall and ordered more, but we need to address the election integrity with measures like paper ballots and voter ID. We must also focus on immigration and stop the influx of criminals into our country. We're going to bring energy prices down and work with governors to reduce crime, regardless of their party affiliation. We remember the invasion of Normandy and the liberation of Europe. We see a brilliant star in the East. We understand the members of our armed forces. The internet has rich transgender traditions. We waive all applicable state taxes. We have a central command for crisis response. I voted for Obama amnesty. That's what the United Nations is all about, and it will not be tolerated any longer. We just had another stock market record. We seek bipartisan solutions. This was pivotal. We authorized the nine elected 11 victims. In April of 2014, our army manned the air and ran the ramparts. I will also invite global leaders to join us and ask religious communities to pray for our nation. Let's make this anniversary unforgettable.

In preparation for the 250th anniversary of American independence, I have a plan to make it an incredible celebration. I will create a task force called Salute to America 250 to coordinate a year-long series of festivities across the nation, starting from Memorial Day 2025 to July 4, 2026. Additionally, I will work with all 50 governors to establish the Great American State Fair, featuring pavilions from each state. Alongside this fair, we will organize Patriot Games, showcasing high school athletes from all over the country. I will also sign an executive order to create a garden of American heroes, commissioning artists to create statues honoring the greatest Americans. Furthermore, I will invite leaders and citizens from around the world to visit the United States during this special occasion. Lastly, I will ask religious communities to pray for our nation as we move forward together.
