Happy Independence Day, America! Today, we unite to celebrate our history, our people, and the heroes of the U.S. military. We pay tribute to those who have served, including Gold Star families, and recognize the contributions of everyday heroes who uplift our communities. As we reflect on our journey, let us remember that our unity and commitment to freedom will guide us forward. We're at Garfield High School in Seattle for the MLK rally. Interestingly, there are no American flags present, except for the one on the school pole. Instead, various other flags representing different agendas are visible, including those from the Black Panthers and the Black American Indian Movement. Despite being in an American city on MLK Day, not a single person is waving an American flag. I searched through the crowd, from the front to the back, and couldn't find any. This is a unique reflection of Seattle.

Some carry hate. We carry the largest trans pride flag to ever be flown in a national park and unfurled it on the side of El Cap to prove a point that trans is natural. Trump administration and transphobes would love to have you believe that being trans is unnatural, but species that can transition sexes can be found on every continent and in every ocean on planet Earth. So call it a protest. Call it a celebration. We are bringing elevation to liberation. They try to erase us from government websites and education systems and libraries, So we raised this flag higher than ever before so every trans person knows that they have people that love them in their corner. The people united will never be defeated.

I just took my oath to be a poll worker for the election and learned that I can't wear red, blue, or even American flags. When I asked why, I was told that one side might feel it's a political statement. This is absurd! We are in the United States, voting for our next leader, and we're being told we can't wear symbols of our country. It's frustrating that expressing patriotism could upset people during such an important event. Let's not forget the significance of this moment and the values we stand for as citizens.

You all are amazing! This positive energy truly embodies what America stands for. USA! USA! USA!

Injustice affects all aspects of life, including Black trans lives. Pride is a time to unite, love, and stay aware amidst ongoing protests. We must address racism and inequality within our own community. As a trans black woman, I want my voice to be heard and for people to acknowledge and appreciate our differences. When LGBTQ individuals come together, we can create meaningful change. Let's educate ourselves on the oppressive systems that affect black and queer communities and support black businesses and people of color. As a black gay female, let's share our pride with the Black Lives Matter movement and support those in our community who need it most. We all thrive when we rise together.

If everything I had were gone, I would start over with my family. I’m grateful to live in a country where freedom remains strong. I take pride in being an American, ready to defend this land I love. From Minnesota to Tennessee, Texas to the coasts, there’s pride in every American heart. It’s time to stand together and express our love for this nation. God bless the USA.

The essence of patriotism is captured in the 100 stripes and stories that make up the American flag. It symbolizes the commitment and loyalty expressed in the pledge of allegiance on Independence Day.

I just witnessed something really cringeworthy. While leaving a grocery store, I saw a couple in an SUV with their windows down, holding large American flags out the window. They looked like they were really into it, arms stretched out, and had a certain expression that made it clear they were likely conservatives. It felt awkward because the American flag seems to have taken on a different meaning lately, becoming a symbol for a specific group. Does anyone else find this cringy?

I dislike Pride Month because of the corporate pandering and the inappropriate displays at drag shows involving children. I am tired of society pushing children to transition and men dressing up as women to victimize others. Pride flags are everywhere, but it seems hypocritical to have a month dedicated to a deadly sin for a marginalized group. I am expected to tolerate it, but it feels like a campaign to force acceptance and destroy childhood innocence. I choose to celebrate God's promise and take pride in my country.

I saw a rare double rainbow around the sun in Oregon on June 13th. The colors were vivid and beautiful. The video may not capture it fully, but it was amazing. Love you all.

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility. I'm Admiral Rachel Levine, the Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of Health and Human Services. For the second year, the transgender flag flies above our department in Washington, D.C. This affirms the administration's support for the transgender community nationwide and our support for evidence-based gender-affirming care.

June is pride month, celebrating LGBTQ+ pride with the rainbow flag. Created by Gilbert Baker for Harvey Milk, it symbolizes pride, diversity, and inclusivity. Originally, red meant life, orange healing, yellow sunlight, green nature, blue serenity, and purple spirit. Black and brown were added in 2017 for people of color. The flag represents social equality, individuality, and community pride, uniting us all.

Today on the house floor in Washington, DC, politicians waved Ukrainian flags, which upset many Americans. This act dishonored our patriots, veterans, military, and their families. It's a betrayal by those who promised to protect America. Only the American flag should be waved in DC.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.

Today is national hot dog day, and hot dogs are my favorite meat. I love them in buns, outside of buns, and with baked beans. Hot dogs are the best mess meat without question. Congratulations to all celebrating National Hot Dog Day, and may there be many more hot dogs served in our land.

The American flag we know is actually a war flag, while the peace flag is less recognized. Our country has always been at war, either with other nations or internally. The individuals running our country prioritize war over peace. Today on the house floor in Washington, DC, lawmakers were seen waving Ukrainian flags, which is a disgrace to our country and those who have served. There is only one flag that should be waved in DC, and that is the American flag.

Happy President's Day! Today is a significant day in the US. President Donald J. Trump is the best president, and we must vote for him in November. I believe only the American flag should be allowed, not flags representing the LGBTQ+ community or Palestine. Remember, your duty is to the American people, not to pedophiles or terrorists these flags symbolize.
