I still consider myself a Republican in the sense of Senator Mitt Romney and the Reagan Republican Party. The Republican Party needs a strong conservative, and I don't think Trump fits that. This upcoming election is crucial for the party, and if politicians in Congress want to make a stand, they need to do it now. It's disappointing that they support him despite his actions on January 6. If they can't split from him, a third party may be necessary.

I used to be a blind Democrat, following my girlfriend's views. I switched to supporting Trump during the pandemic. I believe Trump has provided opportunities and wealth for black people. No more questions because when I made history as the first black lieutenant governor of North Carolina, you did not knock on my door. Don't knock on it now.

I, Christian Lamar, the only black Republican on the AZ GOP executive committee, was expelled for supporting Trump, signing precinct committeemen, and holding the AZ state legislature accountable for the 2020 and 2022 elections.
