I really pushed hard for this meeting and called a lot of people who know him and were in regular contact with him. I went to see some of those people directly. Christians reject that. Netanyahu doesn’t. That’s why he’s talking about Amalek, and he was going after my family, literally. So I felt very threatened by that. But, moreover, I think it’s bad for my country to have people using that kind of language, round them up, bring them to the camps, gas chambers, Nazis, antisemitism. It scares the heck out of people. It makes people crazy and hysterical. And certainly in my case, none of that is true. I hate collective punishment. I hate attacking people on the basis of their bloodline. I hate antisemitism and anti white racism and all of this or any kind of racism, period. And I’ve said that a lot. So using that kind of language against someone who is not fundamentally your enemy, just, in my case, I want Christians in areas controlled by Israel to be treated with dignity, to have rights. And I don’t want the US government involved in a war, a regime change war with Iran. Those are my priorities and I’ve said them out loud. I have no secret agenda.

I do not support gay marriage, and neither does Barack Obama. We believe that the definition of marriage should not be changed from a civil perspective. It should be left to individuals and their faith to decide what they believe. However, I am glad to hear that the governor agrees that there should be no distinction in civil rights between committed gay and heterosexual couples.

There is a tremendous hatred of us in Islam, and we have to get to the bottom of it. There is an unbelievable hatred of us. You're gonna have to figure that out. There is a tremendous hatred, and we have to be very vigilant. We have to be very careful, and we can't allow people coming into this country who have this hatred of The United States and of people that are not Muslim. Is there a war between the West and radical Islam, or is there war between the West and Islam itself? Radical, but it's very hard to define. It's very hard to separate because you don't know who's who.

Are you willing to condemn white supremacists and militia groups? I disavow David Duke. I’ve done it numerous times. I don’t want the support of white supremacists. Racism is evil, and those who commit violence in its name are criminals, including the KKK and neo-Nazis. I’ve spoken out against hatred and bigotry. I don’t like any group of hate, whether it’s white supremacy or any other form. In one voice, our nation must condemn racism and white supremacy. I am very concerned about all groups of hate, and I will take action against them. It’s disappointing that a sitting president can’t outright condemn white supremacy.

The events in Charlottesville, where a young woman was killed resisting hate, prompted my return to this race. The president claimed there were "very fine people on both sides," ignoring the neo-Nazis and white nationalists. You wouldn’t even condemn David Duke. The party is struggling with figures like him joining. They don’t want to take responsibility for the hate associated with their party. I’ve disavowed these groups multiple times. When white supremacists say to vote for me, I don’t want their support, and I can’t control what they say. I don’t want their votes.
