The informant behind the tip sheet faces criminal charges for lying about the Biden family. The same lie dates back to 2015 in a Russian article aimed at destabilizing Ukraine and undermining democracy. Parnas has no doubt Russia is involved in this campaign to interfere in US elections.

In 2018, I got involved in digging up dirt on Joe Biden in Ukraine through Rudy Giuliani. Despite efforts, no evidence against Biden was found, only Russian disinformation. Biden was part of an anti-corruption campaign. The focus shifted to spreading lies about Biden when valid information ran out. John Solomon and Rudy Giuliani pushed unverified narratives on Fox News.

Kash Patel and Devin Nunes concluded that Russiagate was a hoax. They created a 17-page classified report exposing corruption within the intelligence community that fueled the hoax. John Ratcliffe and Patel intended to release the report when they were Trump's DNI and deputy DNI, but the CIA locked it up. According to the transcript, then-CIA Director Gina Haspel did not allow the report to be released, allegedly protecting her predecessor, John Brennan. Russiagate was a politically funded operation involving lying to a secret court to illegally surveil a political opponent. Gina Haspel was allegedly one of the leading Russiagate architects and was the CIA station chief for England when Russiagate was launched in 2016. With Patel at the FBI and Ratcliffe at the CIA, Haspel could be in trouble.

I believe Adam Schiff is the most responsible person for spreading disinformation on Russiagate. He claimed to have evidence of Donald Trump colluding with Russia and fed lies to the mainstream media to push a false narrative for four years. As someone who ran the Russiagate investigation while he was the leader of the minority on the House Intel Committee, I know he had access to the same information I did. The deposition transcripts we forced to light showed he knew there was no factual basis to perpetuate the Russiagate narrative. So, when he tweets about being scared that Twitter will be a landing ground for disinformation, it's hypocritical, especially considering Twitter's history of allowing defamation and attacking people mercilessly while suspending those doing fact-based reporting.
