Now, the far right is making a final attempt to back Trump's bid to remain in power through any means necessary. It is crucial for all of us to unite, protect our streets, and dismantle Trumpism along with its neo-Nazi supporters. We must demonstrate that people of all races hold the true power, not the white supremacists.

The PSL is building a mass volunteer network that we want all of you to be a part of. Because as I said, no politician is coming to save us. We have to save ourselves. There are people going around with little half sheet pamphlets that have a QR code that you can scan to join a mass volunteer network. In Ventura County, California, our friends have built a volunteer network of 500 active and engaged volunteers that chase ice out of their neighborhoods, and we wanna do the same. In Rhode Island. Thank you. In Rhode Island. You may not expect it, but every day, hundreds of volunteers chase ICE out of their communities and directly prevent deportations and detainment. We wanna build that here in Houston. And we wanna build it with all of you here as individuals, and we wanna build it with all of the organizations that are here.

With Trump's inauguration approaching, there is significant uncertainty and fear within the community. Martinez Zaragoza, an undocumented individual with DACA, highlighted the importance of standing in solidarity and supporting those who feel afraid. He reassured attendees that they are not alone in this struggle and that there are people fighting for their rights.

I came out here because I couldn't stay silent anymore. I saw the borders collapse, the economy suffer, and prices rise. When they attacked Donald Trump, my hero, I knew I had to speak up. It's time for real Americans like us to have a voice and not be silent any longer. It's time to speak out.

I've dedicated my life to being a community organizer, building schools and important projects. It's crucial for everyone to care about voting and who is making decisions for our community. We need to elect representatives who share our values and care about what matters to us. By voting, we give them permission to make decisions on our behalf. Hundreds gathered outside downtown right here at 4PM today for Doctor Ian Roberts, the Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools, after he was detained by ICE this morning. The protest has lasted about an hour and, although it has at times been intense, it has remained peaceful. The reporter notes that only a select amount of signs could be shown—ones that don’t have profanity on them—but many signs conveyed the message that they want doctor Roberts freed and that they are against ice.

After President Trump's speech, we will head to the capital where our true problems lie. Let everyone know that we need their help. Spread the word.

My son and brother are facing unjust persecution. It's time to take action by peacefully protesting, holding judges, the DOJ, and the FBI accountable for their actions against American citizens. We must stand up for our rights.

We have every obligation to defend our people, community, and families by any means necessary. While not wanting to be violent, we are not nonviolent; we believe in self-defense. If someone comes at me or my family, I will do everything in my power, legal or not, to defend them. There are over 200 people detained in a dungeon in the basement, with no bathrooms, showers, enough food or water, and children are also being held there. This is a human rights violation. We have to liberate those people and fight for them. They are being held around the corner, and we are going to move down there so they can hear and see us and know they are not alone.

It is an honor to stand with colleagues as we honor Latino Advocacy Day. A mother of three was detained and is on expedited deportation for wanting a better life. Latino Advocacy Day started because of unlawful and inhumane actions against immigrants. Dolores Huerta marched with us in 2008, fighting for humanity and dignity, and marched with us yesterday. We have Ladd because historically, buildings like this have not been open to black and brown people. We created a day to say you are welcome in the people's house. Latino advocacy day is a day when our communities have the courage to show up, and they get deported. I am ashamed today.

To stand up for justice and America. Trump is not a legitimate president and does not represent America. We love America.

We, the people, united, voted against the threat to democracy. We march for progress, build a better future, and strive for a more perfect union. Progress is achievable. Keep marching.

Today was great, and I decided last minute to come here and support these boys. We need to put pressure on the judiciary system to get them out of jail. I believe all these prosecutions are politically motivated. A recent federal court ruling gives me hope for a positive impact on our cases. I really hope these guys can be released soon.
