An Israeli-owned instant messaging service called Odigo allegedly warned its employees of the 9/11 attacks two hours before they occurred, according to a 09/26/2001 report from Israeli publication Haretz. Odigo's vice president, Alex Diamandis, stated the messages indicated something big would happen in a certain amount of time. This information was reportedly passed to the FBI, but there was no follow-up. The Jerusalem Post reported on 09/12/2001 that the Foreign Ministry was looking for 4,000 Israelis believed to be in the World Trade Center and Pentagon areas during the attacks; only four Israelis died. Larry Silverstein, a real estate developer with ties to Israeli politics, obtained the lease for the Twin Towers six weeks before 9/11 and took out an insurance policy that included coverage for acts of terrorism. He later collected $4.5 billion from the insurance policy, claiming two incidents of terror. Silverstein also broke his routine of having breakfast at the World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11 due to a dermatologist appointment.
