In Jacksonville, a white supremacist used an assault rifle to harm people, and currently, there is a dangerous individual at UNC Chapel Hill causing fear and chaos. This cannot continue. To address this issue, we need to ban assault rifles and implement a buyback program. By doing so, we can prevent these dangerous weapons from falling into the wrong hands, especially those who may harm immigrant communities. We must prioritize the safety of our children and make a clear choice to protect them. It's a simple decision: either we choose our kids or we don't.
