The speaker states that preventing attacks in major cities is the top priority, along with addressing cyber and counterintelligence threats. They emphasize the danger posed by individuals entering the country through both the southern and northern borders who intend to cause harm. FBI teams are actively working with HSI and ERO to remove these individuals while preventing and investigating terror attacks. The speaker asserts the FBI will investigate incidents as terror attacks based on available information, such as when someone throws an incendiary device while screaming specific words, and will not engage in "word games" or euphemisms. They are investigating such incidents as targeted violence and terror attacks based on the available information.

Discussion centers on crime in California and state leadership's enforcement actions. Speaker 0 asks if crime is a problem in California given a surge in state law enforcement. Speaker 1 replies that "crime is an issue and we want to tackle it, and we continue to do more in that space." "And we announced and highlighted some of the expansion." He adds that the efforts are "in partnership with our local communities" and "We did it in partnership with the Biden administration prior." He reiterates opposition to "the nationalization, the militarization of the guard in militarizing United States cities" and says "So quite the contrary." The exchange ends with a sign-off and a tease for CSPAN coverage, "First, at 4PM."

In Chicago, crime is rampant with people being attacked and shoved into subway trains. Law and order must be restored by giving police their tools and respect. Drug dealers are causing a crime wave, leading to a call for the death penalty for them and human traffickers. Implementing this will reduce crime by 75%. Hiring 1000 more police officers is crucial to putting violent criminals behind bars.

My name is Rick Jones, the Butler County Sheriff in Ohio. I recently attended a national sheriff's training in DC where we were briefed by FBI Director Ray and other federal agencies. It is concerning that the President refuses to meet with the 33,100 sheriffs in the US or the police chiefs to discuss border issues and crime related to it. The FBI director informed us that there are more red flags now than before 9/11, indicating potential threats from individuals in the country. We are currently bombing two countries, and there are thousands of people from 160 different countries here, some with harmful intentions. The FBI director emphasized that it's not a matter of if, but when an attack will occur.

I want to share with the people of Rhode Island what this investigation looks like, where we are today, and where we anticipate it moving forward. Last night, there were dozens of Providence police officers working in the command post to develop leads in this difficult case, both because of the campus tragedy and the challenge of developing evidence. Our prosecutors—six in total—were there, and our victim services folks were at the hospital. This is what these investigations look like: sometimes you head in one direction, then you regroup and go in another. That has happened over the last 24 hours or so. Collectively, the team developed leads in multiple areas. One lead was chased to ground, leading to the detainment of a person of interest. Those words reflect that there was some degree of evidence pointing to this individual, but that evidence needed to be corroborated and confirmed. Over the last 24 hours, leading into very recently, that evidence now points in a different direction. This means that this person of interest needs to be and should be released. It is unfortunate that this person’s name was leaked to the public, and it’s hard to put that back in the bottle. We will proceed very carefully here, because there is too much at stake for the victims of this horrific crime and their families to take chances with respect to this investigation. Going forward, our team of prosecutors will be working with the Providence Police Department as the principal leads in this investigation. Our resources will be amplified by the state police, the FBI, the ATF, the DEA, the Marshal Service, and others as we develop leads and move toward justice in this case. This could happen very quickly, but it could also take some time.

President Trump has directed us to stop states from non-compliance with federal law. We've already addressed Illinois and New York. If your state isn't complying, you're next. New York's green light laws prevent law enforcement from checking the identities of illegal aliens during stops, blocking access to their backgrounds. This endangers law enforcement officers who face risks daily from violent criminals, gang members, drug traffickers, and human smugglers. We're here to ensure these individuals no longer terrorize Americans. If you don't follow federal law, you will be held accountable. It's over, and we're coming after you.

The speaker stated firmly that the perpetrators of the incident committed a grave error, and asserted that the investigation is actively pursuing who they are, who coordinated with them, who financed the operation, and who was present at the scene. It was emphasized that the United States Department of Justice will respond with full force to the matter, under the direction of the attorney general. The speaker noted that this commitment to action follows discussions held yesterday with a pastor who was completely shaken, and who was with his family at the time of the incident. The aim highlighted is to ensure the safety of everyone involved, with ongoing assurances of security for the community. The speaker underscored that the investigation will identify and verify all key participants and facilitators, including the individuals responsible for planning and funding, and those who attended the scene. The reference to the attorney general’s directive indicates that the case will be addressed at the highest level of federal law enforcement, signaling a strong and comprehensive legal response. There was an explicit intention to communicate that there will be additional legal actions in the near future. The speaker connected the present measures to broader safety concerns, noting the need to protect individuals and families affected by the incident and to restore a sense of safety in the greater community. The pastor’s experience—being with his family and being understandably shaken—was highlighted to illustrate the human impact of the event and the urgency of addressing it with decisive legal follow-through. In summary, the speaker conveyed a commitment to a thorough and transparent investigation aimed at identifying every stakeholder involved in planning, coordination, funding, and presence at the scene, with the full support and directives of the Department of Justice. The message also conveyed reassurance that additional legal steps will be taken in the coming days to ensure the safety of all involved and to hold accountable those responsible.

Today’s operation in Chicago, led by multiple federal agencies, focused on public safety and national security. We successfully apprehended serious offenders, including sex offenders and gang members, removing significant threats from the streets. This operation was meticulously planned, targeting individuals with criminal and immigration histories. In Aurora, there was a major bust involving illegal immigrants, guns, and drugs. Unfortunately, local policies hinder our ability to access jails, making it difficult to apprehend dangerous individuals directly. We need cooperation to ensure public safety; sanctuary city policies only protect criminals, not communities. Law enforcement should collaborate to keep everyone safe, including immigrant communities.

Speaker 0: All your great videos from Air Force One. But tell the American people, from your perspective, you got a view none of us did, what is it that we didn't get to see about that trip that you got to experience when it relates to president Trump? Speaker 1: It's actually very surreal because a lot of people said that president Trump couldn't get this done. Couldn't get it done. MAGA knew deep down that if anybody could get this deal done with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and Marco Rubio and that great team that it would be president Trump. And we're on the plane going out. We all knew this was a historical moment. There was a great sense of pride on the plane, know, checking in on the president up in his office. You know, just he does so much reading and consuming of information. He knew how real the moment was too. Then when we entered out into the Middle East and you had the f sixteens escorting the plane in, which has happened before, but it was just it was a great feeling that the president of The United States, the leader of the free world, Donald j Trump, was there on a mission that he wanted to complete, you know, that he talked about and talked about and talked about. And everybody said, no. No. No. And he ended the war. And it it's absolutely incredible. You know, millions of lives saved amongst all these wars being ended. 20 hostages coming home. Just think about it. If if president Trump was not in office, this would still be going on. Speaker 0: It was historic for sure. There's no doubt about it. You were announced last weekend as the head of PPO, presidential personnel. So for the American people, maybe give them a sense of what this job actually entails, what you do, and why it is so important to the American people, so important to national security, and really the future of the country. Speaker 1: It it was an honor for the president to ask me to take this, additional job on. PPO is responsible, for vetting, interviewing, and bringing in candidates, political appointees to all of these agencies throughout the government. And something that we really wanna keep an eye on, which has been done, is, you know, bringing people with the values of the president that want to complete his agenda, making America great again, America first policies. I work very closely with all of the cabinet members, or I will be working very closely. So the communication you have with the cabinet members is very important in staffing up their agencies with political appointees. PPO also oversees ambassador appointments all around the world. So we have those to fulfill. We're also responsible for US Marshals and fulfilling those obligations all around the country. Work very closely with the DOJ on that front. So as I said, I'm learning every day that passes. I'm a quick learner, and I've hit the ground running. Speaker 0: As it relates to The Middle East, since we just talked about that, obviously, people are really excited about what happened there, and they wanna see more forward progress. Do you come in on that? What is it that you're gonna be able to do from this office to help implement phase two? Speaker 1: It's a great question and and things that actually came up yesterday in a couple of meetings. So that's my learning process. But we will need to fulfill, special envoys that are that are gonna be out there as well as oversight of the rebuilding of Gaza, and there'll be commissions that will be created in which we'll assist in. And with that, I would work with secretary of state Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, who is just such a great, great, great man. Love the guy. As well as, you know, Jared is very involved in getting this done as well. So it's really a team effort, and I'm willing to put forth the office with anything we can assist with in in getting the job done and fulfilling obligations out there to to support their mission in in completing each phase. Speaker 0: Well, something else that this administration has been very successful at doing is a crime crackdown. What else are you involved with from PPO that can help, you know, facilitate more of this crime crackdown all across the country? I imagine you guys have a role in that too. Speaker 1: We do. We do with fulfilling judgeships, within districts. US marshals, like I mentioned earlier, the US marshals are absolutely, incredible in what they do. And it's just getting leadership in each district, within each community, county, and state, throughout the country. So we'll fulfill all of that. And we'll we'll work with all entities. It is a team effort, and you see it every day. It's an atmosphere of where everybody wants to work together. I tell you behind the scenes in these cabinet meetings and in these meetings that take place in the Oval, everybody's on the same page marching in unison to deliver the president's, you know, agenda and and his goals in making Washington DC safe again, in making Memphis safe again, Chicago. How can these guys like Chicago how could they not want to make Chicago safe again? I'll understand it for the life of me. How these people do not want to work with this administration. And I'm talking Pritzker, and I'm talking Newsome. How and why? Speaker 0: Yeah. And it's it's sad because it's hurting the residents of their cities and states. So, Dan, as we sit here in Washington DC right now, the government is still shut down. What do you make of the priorities of the Democrat party? Speaker 1: It makes absolutely zero sense. There are more issues and problems in in this world, and they decide to fight to give illegal immigrants health insurance, and they're keeping the entire government closed down. And and I joke and I say, what? The government's closed down? For the past two weeks, this White House and other agencies were getting things done. We're marching forward. Look what just happened in The Middle East. You wouldn't even known the government was closed down. To close down the government, they are losing on this, the likes of which I was gonna say they've never lost before, but they've lost a lot before. So, they're just not on message. They don't know what they're doing. Zero leadership. Zero leadership. I I think they're truly embarrassing themselves. Absolutely embarrassing themselves. Speaker 0: I know we talked very early on in this administration about the difference between president Trump the first term, because you were here for the entirety of that, and the second term. How is he day to day now? Where do you see him overall? And I feel like the sky's the limit for this president and this administration. Speaker 1: The differences are absolutely incredible. We're not being attacked every day or investigated every day. The head games they played, they wanted to silence us. They ultimately wanted to put us all away for life. Then when he announced for the presidency, and we went full steam ahead. We worked in courtrooms behind the scenes. We're putting out truth social posts. We're campaigning. We're turning his press conferences in at the conclusion of a court hearing. Butler, Pennsylvania, we talked about last time, changed everything. Literally changed everything. It was from that point forward where I knew that he would be the forty seventh president of The United States. And then he just brought on a great team of people when we won the presidency. I mean, it is all surreal. I don't have time to even sit back and think about it and think about what we've been through and what we've done and what we've achieved. There will never be a president Trump ever, ever, ever again. He's changing history for the better. He's fighting every day for your children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren, my family. That's why I do what I do. We could go out tomorrow and make millions of dollars. I I instead take a government salary to fight for the American people every day, and that's everybody in this administration. All for president Trump because they adore and they love the guy, and they love the American people. They're patriots, And that's why we're here. We're on a mission. We're on a mission to deliver for everybody out there. And we're gonna continue this mission. And we're gonna fight hard each and every day no matter what hit pieces come our way, no matter who tries to take us down, we're gonna fight, fight, fight.

A breaking update on the Saturday shooting targeting border patrol agents in Chicago: a suspect is now in custody, according to DHS. The suspect is described as a criminal illegal alien from Mexico with a prior felony conviction. The information was provided as federal investigators move forward with the case. Details from the reporting indicate that border patrol agents were conducting operations in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood on Saturday morning when a man drove up in a Jeep, opened fire, and then drove away. There were no reported injuries, but investigators collected shell casings and video from the scene. The incident prompted a joint investigation involving the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and Chicago police. Officials confirm that the suspect is from Mexico and is now in custody. He is described as having a past felony conviction for firearms. Investigators are pursuing leads based on this suspect, and it appears he was the person in the Jeep and armed at the time of the shooting. In related weekend developments, DHS released photographs showing damage to federal vehicles. At least four border patrol cars were rammed, and those vehicles were boxed in and pelted with objects such as bricks and paint cans during operations over the weekend. Additionally, authorities issued an alert noting that the leadership of the Latin Kings street gang has issued a directive to shoot on-site immigration officers and federal agents operating in Chicago as part of Operation Midway Blitz. The report emphasizes the alleged direct threat to federal agents in the area. The updates come as authorities continue to respond to incidents involving federal agents in Chicago and pursue leads stemming from the Saturday shooting. No injuries have been reported in connection with the attack on the agents, and the investigation involves collaboration among federal and local agencies. The breaking news underscores ongoing concerns about safety for immigration and federal enforcement personnel operating in the city.

The speakers discuss explicit reward figures tied to harming federal law enforcement personnel and describe a rising level of danger for officers in Chicago. They begin by listing bounties: $5 to $10 for kidnapping of ICE agents or Customs and Border Patrol agents, non-lethal assaults, and $50,000 for the assassination of high-ranking officials. Greg Movino, who works in Chicago, says he has personally experienced a bounty placed on his head, illustrating the immediacy of the threat. The panel emphasizes that there are now “$50,000 bounties on the heads of federal law enforcement officers” and that criminals are involved in ramming vehicles and bringing guns to protests. They insist this is not ordinary street crime, but attacks against federal law enforcement, including assaults on border patrol agents, ICE officers, and allied agencies, occurring daily and often multiple times per day. They warn that the lethality of these assaults is increasing, highlighting the growing danger faced by officers enforcing the rule of law. In response to these threats, the speakers discuss measures and leadership strategies. They note that “there's power in numbers” and “safety in numbers,” suggesting collective protection as part of the response. They reference actions at the national level: Secretary Noem reportedly hardening ICE facilities since the terror attack in Dallas, and President Trump having called in the National Guard, viewing these steps as indicative of strong leadership during the crisis. The speakers describe the situation as a coordinated, highly organized “war on our law enforcement on the streets of Chicago,” implying a systematic campaign by adversaries. A key point is the claim that foreign terrorist networks are targeting law enforcement, using a tiered system of bounties to pursue officers. The threats are described as extending beyond direct attacks to include doxxing family members, kidnapping, and even murder. The language frames these actions as deliberate tactics by hostile groups to destabilize and intimidate those enforcing the law, underscoring the perceived severity and organization behind the threats as testified by the speakers.

Tom Homan and the host discuss ICE detention capacity and trafficking concerns, along with political rhetoric and safety in sanctuary cities. - Kevin Cork highlights the administration’s efforts to curtail trafficking across the border, noting it as a major issue for young women and children who are trafficked. He references reporting that there are around 66,000 ICE detainees, a 70% increase since the president took office, and mentions ICE considering large warehouses to hold more detainees. He asks for insight into whether capacity is a real issue and how it’s being managed. - Tom Homan updates ICE detention figures at the time of the conversation, stating about 65,000 detainees, and says a surge to 100,000 beds is coming soon. He explains that the plan is to have 100,000 beds because an average bed turns over 10 times a year, with an average stay of 30 to 35 days. Therefore, 100,000 beds could effectively handle about a million bed-overnights annually. He emphasizes the need for a bed for every person arrested to coordinate travel documents and removal itineraries, and asserts the administration’s goal of bringing 100,000 beds online along with 10,000 new agents. He notes there have been historic deportation numbers under President Trump and suggests those numbers will compare to the next year. - Nicole Sapphire transitions to the New York City mayoral race and cites mayor-elect Zoran Mandani’s threats toward ICE. The discussion returns to safety for ICE personnel, with Sapphire asking what is being done to protect agents and whether current laws deter violence or if Congress must do more. - Tom Homan responds by pointing to the actions of Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice, highlighting prosecutions under 18 U.S.C. 111 (impeding and injuring federal law enforcement officers) as at historic levels and continuing. He criticizes sanctuary cities like Chicago and New York for releasing perceived public safety threats back into communities, and asserts that the administration will flood sanctuary zones with more agents, planning to hire 10,000 more officers to operate in those cities. He says they will arrest thousands of people in Chicago weekly, with operations tonight and tomorrow, and asserts a commitment to make New York safer with or without cooperation from local leadership. He references the President’s promise to make neighborhoods safer by removing criminal aliens, including in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, and urges people to thank President Trump for making neighborhoods safer. - The program closes with gratitude to Tom Homan and acknowledgment of his ongoing work.

The speaker criticizes Democrat governance of major cities, arguing that Democrat-run cities have allowed savage, bloodthirsty criminals to prey on innocent people. They claim radical left judges, politicians, and activists in these cities have adopted a policy of catch and release for thugs and killers. The speaker cites a specific incident in Charlotte, North Carolina, where a 23-year-old woman who came from Ukraine was murdered on a public train, presenting a photo of the victim and stating she was a beautiful young girl with a magnificent future in this country who is now dead. The killer is described as a deranged monster who was roaming free after 14 prior arrests. The speaker asserts that a depraved criminal element of violent repeat offenders is spreading destruction and death throughout the country and insists that the response must be forceful and strong, stating that “they” understand only one language: to be vicious like them. They claim that 24 of the top 25 most dangerous cities in America are run by Democrat mayors, with Chicago highlighted as an example where 50 people were murdered in recent weeks and hundreds were shot. The speaker contends that it is time to stop this madness and that the people of the country need protection, safety, law, and order. A claim is made that it has been proven that safety can be restored, citing Washington, DC, as an example. The speaker describes DC as previously a bloodthirsty, horrible, dangerous place and one of the worst, but now it is a crime-free city, and they assert that this can be done and can happen fast. The speaker states the goal to keep it that way. The audience is urged to seek help from the president, with the message that Chicago needs help and other cities need help. The speaker pledges to take whatever actions are necessary to achieve safety, declaring that they will make America safe again, including the big cities. The address concludes with a call for support and for decisive action to restore safety and order.

Today, we’re targeting MS-13, a foreign terrorist organization involved in drugs, guns, and human trafficking. We’re conducting a large-scale operation with multiple teams to arrest 13 members, a crippling blow to their network. This is a whole-of-government effort with ICE, DOJ, FBI, DEA, ATF, and the U.S. Marshals Service. Sanctuary jurisdictions hinder our work; a recent example saw an MS-13 member with firearms and narcotics released back onto the streets. Conversely, Montgomery County’s collaboration with ICE led to a 50% decrease in violent crime. We prioritize public safety and national security; MS-13 victimizes more people than other terrorist groups. Our officers' morale is high, and we’re proud of our work, including leading the country in sex offender arrests. Yesterday, we arrested a prolific MS-13 member involved in homicides. We’re making a difference, and we’ll continue to target dangerous criminals.
