The community deserves answers about what's going on with the children.

The President of the United States is repeatedly suggesting using economic coercion to force Canada to become the fifty-first state. I take this seriously, and so do Canadians. I'm actively campaigning, and recently, a four-year-old girl named Ari approached me with her mother in Saskatoon. She asked me, with all the seriousness a child could muster, if I could stop Trump from invading Canada. We're now at a point where young children are worried about the possibility of an invasion.

A critical line has been drawn: you either support the peaceful truckers or align with the oppressive forces against them. We're in a convoy heading to Ottawa from Belleville. In Port Hope, we saw many people who couldn't join us, so they sent food and items for the truckers. We opened one bag and found a heartwarming surprise. A child had made a picture of a truck with a note saying they believe in us and that standing up for human rights is important. We visited a shelter today that provides meals and laundry, but they must leave by noon on Friday. It's a serious situation, and it's hard to believe it's real. Families are in distress, and the implications for the children are concerning.

Unfortunately, the justice system likely released the suspects quickly. This situation highlights a disturbing trend, and there is a call to raise awareness and demand accountability.

Canadians have stepped up during the pandemic to protect each other by getting vaccinated. The small fringe minority with unacceptable views heading to Ottawa doesn't represent the majority. We have no intent to stay longer than necessary in Ottawa. I went to an overpass, saw the trucks, and decided to head to Ottawa to help. I started working out of the shed truck, trying to pull people together. We want to know what's really going on, because I saw so much misinformation and lies from mainstream media. Given Canada's support of Ukraine, there is concern that Russian actors could be fueling or instigating the protest. But I'll defer to public safety experts on that issue.
