I am proud to be part of WEST's Power of Media Task Force and GLAAD's partnership with the Partnership For Global LGBTQI Equality (PGLE). PGLE, launched in 2019, is a project of WES and the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner For Human Rights. Our children, including LGBTQ Americans, are important to our nation's future. It is crucial that we treat everyone in our country with care and respect. This administration wants to assure LGBTQ Americans, especially children, that they are loved, heard, and supported.

We've broadened Medicaid to include gender-affirming surgeries. Our schools have adopted an inclusive LGBTQ+ curriculum, teaching students about influential figures like Marsha P. Johnson and Harvey Milk. The state board of education is putting in place gender-inclusive rules, making sure our schools are open and supportive for everyone. I'm also happy to say that my administration is the most diverse one the state has ever seen.

In the mid-nineties, I was approached by students about increasing bullying towards gay and lesbian students. I agreed to help start a gay straight alliance group, feeling a responsibility to create a welcoming school culture. As an older white straight married football coach, I wanted to ensure fairness and prevent bullying. My wife Gwen and I aimed to foster a school environment that was open, understanding, and inclusive for all students.

This year, ADL's global 100 survey of antisemitic attitudes around the world found a 46% shift. Forty six percent of the adult population, 2,200,000,000 people harbor elevated levels of antisemitism. That's nearly double the rate that we saw a decade ago. For the first time since we started tracking these attitudes in the nineteen sixties, the younger generation is more likely to hold elevated anti Jewish views than their parents or grandparents. The younger generation is more likely to be antisemitic than the older one.

This realization has prompted them and their colleagues to prioritize creating narratives where gay characters can simply exist without their stories solely revolving around their sexuality. Moving forward, the speaker vows to focus more on this issue and hopes that this moment will prevent any regression in progress.

We are excited to announce the opening of Disney-themed pediatric transgender clinics this summer to support gender diverse children. We aim to reduce stigma and make these ideas mainstream. We need to aim higher and prioritize intentional inclusivity, as many individuals, including those in the LGBTQ community, still feel marginalized and discriminated against. Take action by displaying symbols of pride, sharing your pronouns in emails, initiating conversations about racial and gender barriers, and showing vulnerability to connect with others. Each of you has the power to foster inclusivity and ensure diverse perspectives are heard, which is essential for developing effective strategies.

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility. I'm Admiral Rachel Levine, the Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of Health and Human Services. For the second year, the transgender flag flies above our department in Washington, D.C. This affirms the administration's support for the transgender community nationwide and our support for evidence-based gender-affirming care.
