Police arrested Zhu, and he has remained in jail since. Congressional investigators link Zhu’s lab activities to the Chinese Communist Party, a tie that allegedly suggests the same actors are behind the Las Vegas lab. What the investigators think Zhu and his network were doing with the substances in the house remains unknown at this time. House investigators say Zhu received financing from Mainland China to create dozens of companies in the United States and Canada, employed mostly Chinese nationals to steal American intellectual property and transfer it to China.
