I support any measure that eliminates waste, fraud, and abuse in our government. Whatever actions Doge takes to streamline government operations and reduce unnecessary bloat, I'm fully in favor of. If we can create a "Doge Act" or any similar initiative that leads to greater efficiency in a Republican-led government, I'm on board. My goal is to make our government more effective and responsible with taxpayer money.

The other side is complaining that nobody voted for Elon or any of my cabinet nominees. They say people are dying because of budget cuts and even allege illegal activity. But frankly, I don't care. If they're complaining, we must be over the target and doing something right. We're simply trying to restore the will of the people through the President. What we've found is a vast, unelected federal bureaucracy that is against the President and the cabinet. In DC, it's 92% Kamala. How can we live in a democracy if the President's will, representing the people, isn't implemented? We're witnessing the bureaucracy thrashing as we try to restore democracy and the will of the people.

We're winning the support of the American people, despite what the Washington establishment thinks. My Democratic colleagues prioritize bureaucracy and excessive spending over taxpayers. They favor illegal immigration over the rule of law, teachers' unions over students, criminals over victims, transgender athletes over women's sports, and Hamas over Israel. They may feel victorious within their own circles, but they're out of touch with the public. I believe the tide is turning, and the American people are on our side. We're fighting for what's right, and justice will prevail.

Bills now have to go through committee and there is a 72-hour reading period, not just for members but also for the American public. This return to a more transparent and inclusive process is a positive step towards fulfilling our commitment to the American people.

McCarthy deserves credit for devolving power, as he reinstated the motion to remove the speaker of the house. This motion allows any member to call for a vote to remove the speaker, and if 218 people vote in favor, the speaker is removed. Although I don't plan on using this motion, having it in place is important to prevent fear of retaliation for doing what's right.

There’s no Democrat or Republican in Washington who could fill a hall like this. The Republican leadership shows clear contempt for their own voters, focusing on foreign issues while neglecting the struggles of their constituents, such as the drug crisis and job losses from offshoring. This indifference is palpable. Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell share a dismissive attitude towards the people. They resist Donald Trump’s return because he embodies transparency and accountability. As American citizens, we have the right to know how our government operates and spends our money. The government exists to serve us, and we deserve full disclosure about its actions.

The incoming small house Republican majority is starting off by bullying a fellow member of Congress instead of fostering collaboration. This raises questions about their priorities following the November election. Are they genuinely committed to solving issues like high living costs, housing prices, and grocery prices? It seems not. Their focus appears to be on far-right extremism rather than addressing the real concerns of the American people. We will continue to highlight this disconnect and demand that Congress prioritize the needs of the public.
