We've ignored the truth for too long, but it's time to face it. There's something suspicious happening, yet we choose to ignore it. The news reports it, and we just accept it without questioning. We're expected to conform and follow their perspective, but I have many unanswered questions. How can children be molested without anyone being held accountable? It's written in the testament that these children are not protected, so I'm fighting back.

I ran again to ensure that certain individuals never return to the White House. My mission has always been focused on children, particularly those living in poverty and going to bed hungry. In Congress, my priorities were their health, education, economic security, and safety from gun violence, creating an environment where they can thrive. The contrast between the Democrats' vision for addressing everyday issues and the opposing side is significant. I am committed to putting aside personal interests until we accomplish our goals for the people.

What must I do in this council to earn respect as a Black woman? I’m not afraid of anyone here. I don’t harbor hate; I’m frustrated by the racial divisions and fear that paralyze us. We need to unite to protect our communities and ensure justice for all, rather than crucifying individuals based on allegations. This isn’t a court; everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I’m here to represent my community and advocate for racial equity, which often feels insincere. I stand firm in my purpose to serve and uplift others, regardless of political affiliations. If the voters choose not to re-elect me, that’s okay. I’m here to make a difference.

I've dedicated my life to being a community organizer, building schools and important projects. It's crucial for everyone to care about voting and who is making decisions for our community. We need to elect representatives who share our values and care about what matters to us. By voting, we give them permission to make decisions on our behalf. Speaker 0: What the do I have to do in this council in order to get respect as a black woman? I'm not afraid of anybody here. When I make a mistake, I will be clear. I don't hate you as a white woman. I don't hate you as a white man. I am sick and tired of this body so stupidly racially divided, so afraid, so depraved. People with no faith because they are afraid of their losing their advancement. They're afraid of bargaining. They're afraid of leveraging. These people have, oh my god. I can't even call you cowards because desperation deserves mercy. Cancer to redistricting. Fine. We give it to a white woman. Can we all get along? Can we get together? Can we love each other now? Can we make sure that black and brown babies don't die? Can we make sure that cops don't kill before people are proven innocent? Can we do that? No. No. No. No. Because this body crucifies you first because of allegations. This is not a court. You don't get to crucify people before they're proven guilty. They're innocent until proven guilty. Amen. Now after this, I will look forward to working with you because I have stamina. I believe, as Baldwin said, what you do not what you say. Your votes here sometimes are racist. I came here to serve people. I came here to love. I came here to grow. But people talk about this racial equity thing. It's all fake. Speaker 1: Thank you. And Speaker 0: you do politics and you hurt each other. And yet, here I am, five foot tall African woman from the projects. And I am here to tell you, if the voters don't vote me back Speaker 1: We are get votes back.

We are here to address the rise of antisemitism in schools, holding district leaders accountable for failing to address the issue. Jewish students face harassment and abuse, and it's time for change. We will continue to push for a safe learning environment until changes are made. Thank you for shining a light on this important issue.

I've been waiting for parents of child victims to speak out, but many are embarrassed and reluctant. What frustrates me the most is when I approached the high school principal about police reports regarding these incidents, and she dismissed them as unimportant. It raises the question of when she will be held accountable for her actions and inaction.

I make a point to visit black neighborhoods during my campaigns, but due to safety concerns, I can't do that now. I want to stay connected with my black constituents and let them know I'm here for them. I believe everyone deserves a chance, and when given the opportunity, they thrive. The black community is doing well, and I believe it will continue to improve.

The school district has sent an officer to check on my mental well-being for the second time in three days. I have many troubling stories about the district, and their actions show their fear. They resort to calling the police to intimidate, but I refuse to be afraid. No offense to the officer, who is a kind man, but this behavior reflects cowardice.

I've been placed on administrative leave after taking a brave step to improve our school district, which is already great. Sometimes, progress comes with challenges, and while I can't share too much to protect my job, I want you to know I'm okay. I'm going to take a nap now. You'll be fine too, and I believe our school district will be even better when I return. See you soon!

It's tough always having to prove yourself multiple times. Despite being told not to talk about race, I will. Being black comes with challenges, but I see greatness in this city with many African American leaders. I appreciate the sacrifices made to be in these positions. Chief Meadows, thank you for your leadership and for recognizing the extra hurdles you've faced to serve.

Everyone is eager to hear your story, especially regarding the 2024 election. You have firsthand experience, which gives you authority on the matter. Can you share what's causing you to lose sleep? I received a text from a lawyer who previously tried to remove me from the ballot ten years ago. He threatened to send a cease and desist if I don’t stop speaking out. This has caused me significant anxiety. Courage is about facing fear, so I'm trying to push through it. It's concerning that individuals within the system are legally threatening you. I reached out to him to clarify what I said that was untrue, and we discussed it. Ultimately, everything I stated was accurate; he just didn't want it presented in a clear way.

Just because you won doesn’t mean we forget your actions. If you want to confront me, reach out. It's difficult to step away from teaching, as it’s my lifelong passion. I’ve dedicated myself to my students and their families, and I’ve always aimed to support them. I regret that they had to witness a different side of me. I’m truly sorry for how this situation has unfolded. I always wanted to be a positive influence for your kids. This began when a video I posted on Snapchat went viral, prompting an investigation by the school and police. However, the police have informed me that they do not plan to charge me.

We are the statistic. Our teachers and staff, once trusted, are now among the least trusted. We need to take accountability and work to restore that trust. If we allow our children to be victims, we are complicit in the abuse. I urge everyone to reflect on what they can do to create a safe and supportive environment for students. If you cannot contribute to this change, consider stepping aside for someone who can. Actions speak louder than words, and simply sending messages to parents will not resolve this issue.

I acknowledge that the truth can be difficult to accept, but it should be acknowledged. There are suspicions of wrongdoing that have been ignored. We are bombarded with news that we passively accept without questioning. It is expected of us to conform and follow their perspective without questioning their motives. However, I have many unanswered questions. How is it that children are being abused, yet no one has been held accountable? I have read about it in religious texts, and it seems like these children are being protected. I am determined to fight against both foreign and domestic terrorists. I refuse to be controlled like a sheep. I will only kneel to my own beliefs, even if it means standing up for them until the end. Our voices are silenced, but there is violence in the streets. I have endured many hardships, but I cannot continue to tolerate them. I choose to see the glass as half full and remain optimistic. People can be cruel and malicious, and I pray for help to overcome our current situation. If necessary, I will resist and then seek forgiveness.

I believe in dedicating myself to public service, despite its challenges. I understand that having strong, possibly unpopular views can be tough, but I am here to be your voice. To every parent with dreams for their child and every child with hopes for the future, I stand with you. I will fight for you and ensure we succeed together. I'm feeling emotional right now. As a teacher in Mississippi, I noticed many of my Hispanic students have been absent, and today, one returned but was picked up by someone unfamiliar. I’m heartbroken and scared for them. These children are like my own; we share laughter and learning every day. With recent ICE actions, I worry about their safety and the whereabouts of their parents. One student was excited to become a big brother, and now I wonder if he’s scared or alone. I just want them to be safe and with their families. Regardless of their legal status, they deserve to be together. Thank you for letting me share my feelings; it’s been hard for all of us.
