We received kind treatment from Russia. There wasn't much in return. I hope this marks the start of a relationship that can end the war.

I just had a conversation with the President of the United States. We discussed our shared goal of winning this war. We can and must make this year the year of victory. It's important to emphasize that this is not just a Russian war against Ukraine and Europe, but a war against democracy. We need to liberate all Ukrainian territory from Russian occupation and ensure long-term security with strong guarantees.

You are very welcome here in Downing Street. You have full backing across the United Kingdom. We stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes to achieve a lasting peace. Thank you very much, Prime Minister. I am happy to be here. Thank you to the people of the United Kingdom for your big support from the very beginning of this war. We in Ukraine are very happy that we have such friends. Thank you.

Something is changing. Something has changed. Thanks to you. Thanks also to the stalling in the battlefield, which was achieved with the bravery of of Ukrainians and with the unity that we all provided to Ukraine.

I believe you will win. We will provide everything you need to succeed. Our success is not due to equipment, but your courage. Thank you. The world is watching because we cannot let Vladimir Putin succeed here, as it would set a precedent for other countries.

I want to say that you are the ally I've been hoping for my entire life. Not one American has died defending Ukraine. You've taken our weapons and you've been very effective, and I'm grateful to have you as our ally. However, I don't know if we can ever do business with Zelensky again. The way he handled the meeting and confronted the president was over the top. The relationship between Ukraine and America is vitally important, but I'm uncertain if Zelensky can make a deal with the United States after his recent behavior.

America's strength lies in diplomacy, which we are pursuing with the current president. Russia occupied parts of Ukraine back in 2014, and despite numerous conversations and ceasefire agreements, they continued attacks. My administration is trying to prevent the destruction of your country. Everyone faces challenges during war, but you need to appreciate the support you're receiving. We've provided substantial financial and military aid. If you had to fight this war on your own, it would have been over in two weeks. Be thankful. It's important for the American people to see what's happening. Without our support, you don't have a chance. We gave you javelins, not just sheets. I have empowered you, but without us, you're vulnerable. Make a deal, or we're out. You're not acting thankful at all.

It's an honor to have President Zelenskyy of Ukraine here. We've been working closely together for a long time, and we've negotiated a fair deal that will benefit both our countries and the world. I've also had good discussions with President Putin, and we're trying to bring the conflict in Ukraine to a close. Too many soldiers are dying, and we want to see the money used for rebuilding instead. The previous administration didn't engage with Russia, but I believe if I were president, this war would have never happened. We're providing great equipment to Ukraine, and their soldiers have been incredibly brave. We're going to sign an agreement soon, and I think we're close to a deal to stop the shooting. It's an exciting moment, and I appreciate everyone being here.

I've also had good discussions with President Putin to try and bring the war to a close. If I were president, this war would have never happened. We've given Ukraine great equipment and credit to their brave soldiers. We're going to sign the agreement shortly, and I think we're fairly close to a deal to stop the shooting. I hope this document will be the first step to real security guarantees for Ukraine. We count on America's continued support, including licenses for air defense and your strong position to stop Putin.

I would like to discuss our collaboration with you and President Zelensky's team. We aim to have a diplomat engage with you regularly in the coming days or weeks. If a peace deal is reached that satisfies Ukraine, Britain is ready to explore all options to support you, including a presence in Ukraine. Currently, we have troops in Poland, Estonia, and Lithuania, and we’ve maintained a training team in Ukraine since 2015. We are open to considering various options moving forward.

We're going to feel very good and very strong. You're not in a good position right now. You're gambling with the lives of millions and risking World War III. It's disrespectful to this country; I've been more supportive than many others would have been. Have you said thank you at all during this meeting? You campaigned against us. Show some appreciation to the U.S. and the president trying to save your country. You are saying if you speak loudly about the war... He's not speaking loudly, your country is in big trouble, and you're not winning. We're staying strong and thankful, even though we've been alone since the beginning. You haven't been alone. We gave your president $350 billion for equipment. Without our military equipment, this war would've ended in two weeks or three days. I heard that from Putin. Can you just say thank you to the American people? Let's work through disagreements instead of fighting it out in the media when you're wrong.

My colleagues and I are impressed by the courage and bravery of Ukraine. We have a good relationship with the Netherlands and we are committed to supporting Ukraine for as long as it takes. Ukraine's fight for survival is crucial for the future of Europe.

Volodymyr Zelensky and I share a special friendship. I admire his leadership, resilience, and vision for Europe. We had strong moments before and during the war, and I suggested exfiltrating him to protect Ukraine's democracy from Russia. In February 2022, I was struck by his determination, but he firmly told me to focus on European support and standing up for our shared values. I believe in his sincerity.

I am more encouraged about Ukraine's unity and resolve for 2024 and its strategic importance. I am also confident that Ukraine will have strong success this year, surprising Mr. Putin on the battlefield. Thank you.
