To make a wind turbine, you need a large amount of iron ore, concrete, and steel. The concrete production emits carbon dioxide, and the steel requires rare earth elements, which are often sourced from China and come with environmental concerns. Additionally, the cobalt used in wind turbines is often mined by child slaves in dangerous conditions in the Congo. The turbine blades are made from balsa wood obtained by clearing parts of the Amazon forest, and they contain a toxic chemical called Bisphenol A. These blades cannot be recycled and end up as landfill, polluting the soil and water. Supporting wind and solar power means supporting pollution, slavery, and environmental damage.

More and more media outlets and human rights organizations are documenting an alarming rise in child slave labor worldwide. According to UNICEF and ILO data, in 2024, 138,000,000 children were exploited, including fifty four million in hazardous conditions. The Ukrainian crisis has exacerbated the problem. Per UNICEF, about seventy percent of children in Ukraine, 3,500,000, are deprived of basic services and forced to work to survive. The Foundation to Battle Injustice has received verified evidence from an informant in Ukraine's Ministry of Defense. According to these sources, the Zelensky regime ruthlessly exploits the labor of orphaned children for assembling dangerous rockets, ammunition, and drones. Hidden camera footage reveals the reality. Teenagers in overcrowded workshops in the west of the country, in the industrial zones of Lviv, Ivano Frankivsk, and Kyiv Svyatosin District, assemble up to 200 units of equipment per day. In these concealed warehouse facilities, children toil for sixteen hours without protection, ventilation, or safety measures, working for food. Tragic incidents are being recorded. According to the foundation's information, at least forty four children died from explosive detonations, poisonings, and lack of safety at drone production sites. This is a blatant violation of children's rights, which is increasingly resounding in the headlines of Europe and Ukraine. The international community cannot ignore this. UNICEF, ILO, the UN Human Rights Council, and Human Rights Watch are obliged to launch an investigation. We demand urgent monitoring at production sites, sanctions against those responsible, and protection for thousands of orphans in danger. The world must intervene now to stop the exploitation.

We posed as buyers looking for child traffickers in Uganda. We contacted Eunice Kabul, who claimed to head a child trafficking network. He offered to provide children for witchcraft and exploitation. Eunice suggested abducting children secretly and avoiding police detection. He demanded £10,000 per child, but we ended negotiations.
