It's a week before Christmas, and my son has been incarcerated for 1,432 days, having been through 14 different prisons as a political prisoner. I visit him every Wednesday, enduring a long trip for just an hour together. I empathize with all January 6 families during these tough times. We hope President Trump will release all January 6 prisoners and commute their sentences, ending this political persecution by the Biden administration. My son is a hero who saved lives that day, and we want him and others to return home to their families as productive citizens. I'm in MDC Brooklyn, been here for about two years. It's dystopian, but the staff are mostly helpful. It's tough when 40 people are locked in a room for years, and the smallest things become everything. I haven't had physical problems, but legal access during my trial was a nightmare. I spend my days reading, playing chess, and working on my case. The lack of meaningful activity is crushing. I’ve had time to reflect on my communication, realizing I focused too much on details and missed the big picture. I wasn't on Adderall, but my mind was racing with a billion things to manage, I prefer having the digital world for productivity and impact. I've made some friends here, including Diddy, who's been kind, although this is a weird environment.

I'm in Larimer County Jail, and I want to share my experience. The support from everyone keeps me going during these dark days. Being locked up for doing the right thing is incredibly hard, especially when I have nothing in common with the other inmates. My daily meals are basic, and I have limited access to books and news. A veteran expresses frustration with the VA's lack of continuity and care for mental health. Over the past six years, he has experienced multiple doctors quitting and switching, leaving him to deal with his own demons. The one doctor he liked refused to take his case back after a network issue. Now he has to start with a new doctor, which means reopening old wounds. He just wants to talk to the same person and have consistent medication. He has been off his medications for two years and is exhausted from the constant retelling of his tormenting stories. He simply wants continuity and care.

I'm trans, and I'm worried about the trans community. Some say my TikTok skits are why people don't take us seriously and blame us for issues in the economy and society. It feels heavy, but I accept it. It’s important to recognize how silly those comments sound. People need to relax—maybe drink some tea or take a bath. Internalized bigotry isn’t helping anyone. I want to share my experience with trauma release exercises. After moving past the ego-driven part, I began to tremor in my core, which felt good and acted like a massage for my internal muscles. As I focused on my breathing, emotions and memories surfaced, almost like gas escaping my body. The entire experience was incredible, leaving me feeling deeply relaxed. I had some of the best sleep afterward. I encourage you to set your ego aside and try this; you’ll be grateful for it.

I've been placed on administrative leave after taking a brave step to improve our school district, which is already great. Sometimes, progress comes with challenges, and while I can't share too much to protect my job, I want you to know I'm okay. I'm going to take a nap now. I've been through a roller coaster of emotions since January 6th. Some days are better than others. It's tough to see people downplay what happened that day. I experienced brutal combat and felt like I was going to die. It was overwhelming. 850 MPD officers and others risked their lives to protect the Capitol. The bravery displayed that day was nothing short of miraculous.

This has caused me significant anxiety. Courage is about facing fear, so I'm trying to push through it. It's concerning that individuals within the system are legally threatening you. I reached out to him to clarify what I said that was untrue, and we discussed it. Ultimately, everything I stated was accurate; he just didn't want it presented in a clear way.

I walked out of the DC Gulag after four years and six days, now a free man thanks to President Trump’s pardon. We sincerely thank him for his support, but the fight isn’t over. Many of my comrades remain imprisoned due to unjust charges from the DOJ. Jeremy Brown, a Green Beret, and Edward Kelly, a former Marine and father, are still behind bars, along with others like Dominic Bach and Daniel Ball. The pardon did not cover all charges related to January 6. We urge the president to expand the pardon to include these unjust charges. God bless America.
