I can't go back to my home, which I last saw from the Lebanon-Israel border in 2018 with my family. I showed my children the hospital, school, and church built by their grandparents, but they will never see them. Wealth means little if you can't provide your children with a safe country. In America, we strive for success and kindness, but we must also be wise. While we aim to do good, we must recognize and confront the encroachment of evil in our society. It’s uncomfortable, but we must identify and uproot it from our communities and colleges to live in peace with people of all faiths.

On election night, I picked up my 12 year old daughter from water polo practice there, and she cried. I asked if someone punched her, if the coach yelled at her, what happened. She said, "Mom, Trump won. Trump's gonna win. And what if I get raped and I need to have an abortion?" This is from a 12 year old daughter. It reminded me of how scary this time is and how truly important it is for Democrats to have strategies both at the state level and the federal level to make sure that we can continue to protect people's rights.

True story. When I saw that clip, I realized how people fear what is different, but they're starting to understand. A poll showed that 58% of Americans already agree with our views. We stand on the shoulders of those who fought for civil rights, including my parents and many activists. While progress has been made, there’s still much work to do. That’s why I want you in the White House. Change is happening, and we need to push it forward.

I grew up as the only Indian family in a small southern town and faced daily teasing for being brown. I have a record of standing up against racism, such as advocating for body cameras after Walter Scott's shooting and calling for the removal of the Confederate flag after the Mother Emanuel Church shooting. I take pride in having friends from different races. I faced discrimination when I was disqualified from a beauty pageant because they didn't know where to place me. I understand the pain of racism and fight against it every day. If I didn't mention slavery, it's because it's a well-known part of the Civil War.

You have an obligation to be part of the decision because the issue truly matters. A racist, abusive coward could permanently damage the fabric of our society. Do we really want to give nuclear weapons to a man whose signature move is firing things? We can end this nightmare and save the day for our children, our communities, and America. All it takes is all of us. We cannot pretend both sides are equally unfavorable, and we can't say one vote doesn't matter. Your vote matters; it affects everything, including the presidency, the senate, the house, local officials, immigration, student debt, common sense gun laws, and the Supreme Court. This isn't just an election; it's a tipping point for the country, the world, and your world.

During wartime, everyone faces challenges, even you. You might have a beautiful ocean and not feel the immediate impact, but the effects will be felt later. God bless you. Don't assume you are blessed. You may not experience war. Don't tell us how we're going to feel. We are trying to solve a problem right now.

Women claiming to be losing rights under President Trump should reconsider their perspective. The recent Democratic losses indicate a disconnect from reality. Regardless of identity, as American citizens, we are not oppressed. True oppression exists in places like Afghanistan, where women face severe restrictions on their freedom, education, and basic rights. They endure horrific punishments for speaking out or simply existing in public. It’s disheartening to see American citizens, particularly those in Hollywood, claim oppression while being unaware of the struggles faced by women globally. If you’re surprised by these realities, consider why mainstream media and academic institutions may not be informing you.

As a Christian, I follow Jesus, a Palestinian who fled to Egypt as a child due to violence against innocent children. He was a Palestinian refugee. To my fellow Christians, please do not speak of making room for Jesus in your heart if you cannot also make room for Palestinians in need of help and safety today.

Look at what you look like; be thankful you’re not in danger. When you come here, remember that people are being taken from their homes. As a white man, you won't face the same consequences. Police kill black people daily, and you’ll never experience that fear. You’re here yelling, relying on your privilege. Historically, oppression has come from white people, and you can’t be racist towards a white person. It’s time to recognize your privilege and the reality of the situation. Go home and reflect on this. No one wants you here, and that’s okay.

Never take for granted the sacrifices made by our forefathers and foremothers who fought for our country and for others around the world. It is embarrassing that the United States cannot get its presidential election right. We should not accept this. In some states, there are more dead voters than those buried on historic battlefields. We did not have a free, fair, and transparent vote on November 3rd, and everyone knows who won the election: Donald Trump.

I want to discuss my experience with white privilege. I graduated from North Hollywood High with a 1.7 GPA and struggled to find a job. At 19, living in my family's garage while my mom relied on welfare, I approached a fire station about a job. They told me I couldn't be hired because I wasn't black, Hispanic, or a woman. For the next seven years, I worked at a construction site. Eventually, I received a letter to take the written exam for the LA fire department. While waiting in line, I spoke with a young woman of color who had signed up just days earlier. This illustrates my experience with white privilege.

I feel safe because I have Secret Service protection. However, not everyone has Secret Service, and too many people in the country don't feel safe right now. Members of the LGBTQ community don't feel safe because of laws like the "don't say gay" laws. Immigrants or people with an immigrant background don't feel safe right now. Women don't feel safe right now. My personal safety doesn't change the importance of fighting for the safety of everybody in our country.

Whether we are black, brown, or white, we bleed the same red blood, enjoy the same freedoms, and salute the same flag. Whether a child is born in Detroit or Nebraska, they look at the same night sky, dream the same dreams, and are infused with life by the same creator. To all Americans, you will never be ignored again. Your voice, hopes, and dreams will define our American destiny. Your courage, goodness, and love will forever guide us.

Character, compassion, decency, science, and democracy are all at stake in this election. It's about our national identity, values, and future. How old are you? 17? No say, but soon.

Don't tell me "Viva Mexico" if you've never lived there on Mexican wages, or if your kids haven't been trafficked. Many are living off American privilege. Don't tell me "Viva Mexico" when kids are slaughtered, women are murdered, and the government doesn't care. Kids at the border are drug trafficked, killed, and their organs sold on the black market by cartels. There is no justice; money buys impunity. The government doesn't care about the people, or they would eliminate the cartels. Many parents almost died crossing the border for their children's benefit, or escaped the cartels. Visiting Mexico is different than living there. Don't say "Viva Mexico" while benefiting from American privilege. Mexico isn't what it was; it's not safe anymore, except for the wealthy. Live in Mexico on pesos, then say if it's enjoyable. Don't burn the American flag while being ungrateful. Don't praise Mexico if you've never lived or struggled there.

How many of you used to vote Democrat? And how many have always voted Republican? We have a great mix here. I grew up as a Democrat but, after studying the issues, I realized I was actually a conservative. It's important to me, as a Black man, to have the freedom to choose how I vote. I find it racist when society dictates my political beliefs. Over the years, I've learned to think for myself and have come to appreciate conservative policies, which is why I am where I am today.

If you were to tell someone who was born in a dictatorship that Donald Trump is a dictator, they would laugh. Anyone from Cuba or any country with a history of dictatorships who reads what people say about Trump being a dictator are cracking up. I see them laughing about it on this app every day. It's funny to me because privileged Americans are cosplaying oppression. They don't know the first thing about being oppressed or what it's like to live under a real dictator.

I bring my kids here today to teach them the importance of being on the right side of history. The struggles faced by Palestinians resonate with our own experiences in America. I want my children to understand and support the Palestinian cause, just as they stood up for us and spoke about black lives matter. Malcolm X's quote about the media praising the oppressor and shaming the oppressed is a reminder for them to be mindful of this injustice. It's crucial that we speak up for the Palestinians, just as they have spoken up for us.

Be grateful for your safety; if you looked different, you might not be here. When you come into spaces where people are suffering and you’re a white man backed by police, it’s a different reality. You don’t understand the fear that others face daily. Historically, oppression has come from white people, and you can’t claim to be a victim of racism in the same way. Acknowledge your privilege and the experiences of those who are marginalized. It’s important to recognize these dynamics instead of denying them. No one wants your ignorance here; it’s time to reflect on your position and the impact of your words.

The Palestinians live under Israeli government control, which many consider oppressive. Israel and America need to change their approach. Palestinians have been deprived of their land for over 70 years, leading to deep frustration. They face apartheid, lack basic necessities, and endure civil rights violations. This is not a secret; it's visible if you look for it.

Honor this country and its citizens, as they are the foundation that allows you to thrive. Without their support, in the competitive and harsh realities of the world, you would not have survived.

I identify as American, not African American. I believe in promoting freedom and equality, which is how I got elected. I didn't rely on race or privilege. I grew up in Overland, Saint Louis County, in a non-privileged family after my father passed when I was 12.

Living in a country you support is important. Some Americans hate their country but benefit from it. It's easy to criticize systems like capitalism or support ideologies like Islam when not living in those environments. The US has attracted immigrants for its freedom, not because it's a white supremacist nation. If freedom is lost, the US may resemble countries with oppressive governments.
