There were very fine people on both sides of a white supremacist rally. I’m not referring to the neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who should be condemned entirely. However, there were many individuals in that group who were not neo-Nazis or white nationalists.

Many in the Jewish community and communities of color—targeted by Nazis and neo-Nazis—see swastikas and flags on Parliament Hill, not just a few malcontents. This convoy seeded the worst display of Nazi propaganda I have seen in this country, and they are marching in the shoes of neo Nazis, giving support to racists and bullies. People may disagree on health issues, but they have the democratic right to protest; however, extremists have taken over the agenda. We have seen a statue of Terry Fox basically defaced and we've seen people urinate on the war memorial. What have they accomplished? Angering Canadians. Let them protest health issues, but by doing so they have walked in the shoes of bullies, racists, bigots, and Nazis. Enough is enough—no swastikas on Ottawa streets or urinating on memorials or destroying Terry Fox.

I don't support Black Lives Matter, but I believe in equality for all. I wear a shirt that says "White Lives Matter" because I love everyone and stand for America. I think it's hypocritical that people can wear BLM shirts but not WLM. I'm against the organization's methods, not the message of valuing black lives. I believe in equality for all races and groups, like Asians and LGBTQ+. I'm rebelling against BLM, not against the idea of valuing black lives.

I hate the Black Lives Matter movement because they rallied behind someone who abused women. Boycotting is more effective than looting. There are more pressing matters than police violence, like getting families back together and having fathers in the household. Black people need to focus on themselves and stop the hate. Even during slavery, they were loving people. I saw a Black Lives Matter rally in Beverly Hills with mostly white people, which Malcolm X and Marcus Garvey wouldn't have loved. Black lives matter, but I don't like the movement because it was funded by radical lesbians, Marxists, and George Soros, which isn't in black people's best interest.

Why are you supporting these people? You're messing with our existence, and what happened on January 6th was wrong. People died. You're supporting the violence. I was in DC on January 6th, but I didn't go inside the Capitol. Political violence is always bad. You thought I was one of those people, but I stood outside the building non-violently and the FBI raided me and threw me in jail. Are you okay with that? You're aggressive, and you want attention. You're mad because of the attention, money, everything. I don't like what you represent. How do you feel about the Black Lives Matter riots? They murdered people, destroyed federal buildings. People broke windows at the Capitol, but why aren't you upset about the federal buildings that BLM burned? It was like watching 9/11 all over again.

Conservative party members stand with Canadians needing to get back to work, not those waving swastikas or the confederate flag. Elite protests must end.

I 100% support the LA protests because they are a great campaign ad for the other side. Protesters are throwing a tantrum, acting like they just crossed the Rio Grande screaming death to America, despite being born in America. Many protesters are American with Mexican heritage, not truly Mexican, and only visit Mexico for spring break. They enjoy American conveniences and freedoms. Nobody screams death to Mexico in Guadalajara because that would be dangerous. These protesters are blocking freeways, destroying businesses, and complaining about injustice in a city with many social programs. Their behavior is counterproductive, creating more red voters. They are shitting on the system that allows them to do so, while flying flags of countries they won't move to.

I used to be liberal but now I'm not, for political and personal reasons. Attended George Floyd protest, got tear gassed. Liberals were never happy, bad for mental health. Insulting and condescending. Turned off by condescension and insults when someone disagrees. Gay pride parades with nudity in front of kids was a turning point for me. Being gay is fine, but not in front of kids.

President Trump supports peaceful protest and the right of Americans to make their voices heard. He does not support violence or assaulting law enforcement officers. The speaker claims the president has made his position clear, unlike the Democrats, who have allowed unrest and violence to continue, requiring the president to intervene. When asked if President Trump would allow peaceful protests on Saturday for the militant parade, the speaker affirmed the president supports peaceful protests, calling the question stupid.

I would participate in protests if I believe our residents' rights are being violated or if actions are illegal or immoral. I expect others to join as well. If it comes to it, I wouldn't fear arrest for standing against unjust policies, but I aim to negotiate reasonable solutions to these issues. Both Republican and Democratic presidents have sought ways to address these problems. Ralph Carr, a hero of mine, opposed the internment of Japanese Americans during wartime, standing up for what was right despite unpopularity. If the government enacts actions we deem illegal or un-American, we will stand against them.

I used to live in Canada, but I don't go there anymore. I disagree with what they're doing, like the trucker rally, Trudeau's gun policies, and internet censorship. I think the government needs a complete overhaul because they're heading towards communism, which is concerning.

Ever since I supported Donald Trump, I've been called names online, told I'm uneducated, not black, and that people wish harm on my daughters. The hate in the comments is disgusting. Those preaching love and unity are actually the most hateful, calling me names and telling me to jump off a bridge. I respect differing opinions, like supporting Kamala Harris. It's just surprising to see the level of hostility.

We're at the Texas capital for a leftist protest on Presidents' Day. It's a national call to action rejecting President Trump's election, reminiscent of 2017. I engaged with protesters asking about their claims of fascism in America and their views on abortion, but most refused to answer basic questions. One person said that white people put a curse on them and stole their culture. The conversation went to Japanese culture and immigration policies. Another protester said that basic health care rights like access to abortion are being taken away. I spoke with others who said that Trump is letting Elon Musk dissolve entire US departments that were mandated by congress. I was eventually asked to leave the area after things got a little heated. I was going to tell them that even though we disagree, we all have First Amendment rights and should find common ground to improve the future peacefully.

I disagree with the protest. It is completely wrong to burn a country's flag, absolutely unacceptable.

A grandmother and other Canadians, including Black, Sikh, and Indigenous individuals, have been peacefully demonstrating. They do not fit the stereotype of White supremacists. I have also received messages from many constituents who are vaccinated and have followed guidelines, expressing legitimate concerns about our collective future. It is important to listen to and address these concerns.

I felt unsafe during the protests because people were angry and their words were violent. Despite the government shutdown, the protests have been peaceful. The participants prefer to be called picketers instead of protesters.

I tested positive for COVID-19, but I feel well with no symptoms. I urge Canadians to get vaccinated. Regarding the recent protests in our capital city, freedom of expression is important, but Nazi symbolism, racism, and disrespecting war memorials are not acceptable. Hate is never the answer. Canadians were shocked by the behavior of some protesters. We won't be intimidated by insults or abuse towards small business workers or stealing from the homeless. We won't tolerate racist flags, vandalism, or dishonoring our veterans. Politicians exploiting fears should consider the consequences of their actions. I thank the truckers who have been vaccinated and continue to work hard to keep our economy moving.

Are you willing to condemn white supremacists and militia groups? I disavow David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan. I’ve done this numerous times. I don’t want their support. Racism is evil, and those who commit violence in its name are criminals. I reject all hate groups, including neo-Nazis and white supremacists. I spoke out against hatred and bigotry. Despite claims, I have condemned these groups clearly. In one voice, our nation must condemn racism and white supremacy. I am concerned about all groups of hate, including Antifa. I will take action against hate in any form.

I regret using strong language towards intolerant protesters, not everyone in the protest. I believe in calling out hateful language. I want to encourage vaccination but respect individual choices. The polarization and toxicity were fueled by misinformation. Canadians need to listen, talk, and remember we are in this together as citizens.

When urging people to take action, I often emphasize the word "peacefully." This is not just to prevent incidents like January 6, but also to counter any misinterpretations of my intentions. My approach is to be positive, armed with data and facts, and to treat everyone with love and respect. This mindset attracts a supportive community.

I received a text from my daughter urging me not to go to the store or participate in protests. I’m proud of my Mexican heritage, but I believe in working hard and following the rules. If I had a business and employees protested, I would fire them. Everyone should work legally and respect the system. Protests don’t solve anything; all lives matter, not just specific groups. People complain about deportations, but if they had the right paperwork, there wouldn’t be an issue. It frustrates me when people take advantage of the system and then want to avoid the consequences. We need to use common sense and take responsibility for our actions.

I cannot support an insurrectionist. I would love to see Democrats and independents take a stand against Donald Trump.
