There is an alarming situation in Ottawa, with reports of severe vandalism and criminal behavior. The streets are filled with protesters, honking their horns incessantly. Some residents feel terrorized and intimidated, describing themselves as hostages. The so-called freedom convoy of anti-COVID truckers has imposed a lockdown on the area. There have been instances of harassment, including taking food from a soup kitchen. While there haven't been violent outbursts, there are disturbing symbols like swastikas and Confederate flags present. Responsible leaders need to carefully consider their stance on this threat to democracy.

Conservative party members stand with Canadians needing to get back to work, not those waving swastikas or the confederate flag. Elite protests must end.

Earlier this year, there was Nazi imagery in our nation's capital, which was disturbing for the Jewish community and Canadians. Antisemitism is increasing online and in person, and must be addressed.

I have attended protests in the past that align with my beliefs, like Black Lives Matter. However, I avoid protests that promote hate, violence, and disrespect towards fellow citizens, science, frontline health workers, and truckers who are essential for our safety and food supply. It's important for responsible leaders to consider their stance and the company they keep.

Young people are drawn to this particular place for various reasons. One factor is their dislike for Trump, who failed to condemn those with tiki torches, including anti-Semitic individuals. Now, it seems that some of these young people themselves are the ones holding tiki torches.

Evil grows in darkness, both literal and metaphorical. In the Canadian parliament, a 98-year-old man who fought for the Nazis was celebrated as a hero for fighting against the Russians in World War II. This is despite the fact that Canada and the allies fought alongside the Russians against the Nazis. The entire parliament, including Prime Minister Trudeau, gave him a standing ovation. Trudeau later blamed the speaker of the house, but it is clear that he should take responsibility. This event is unforgivable and those who clapped should be marked as unfit for office. It seems that history is being rewritten, reminiscent of George Orwell's novel 1984. These are dangerous times.

There is a small fringe minority with unacceptable views on their way to Ottawa, but they do not represent the majority of Canadians. Canadians believe in supporting each other and following scientific guidelines to protect one another. This is the best way to safeguard our freedoms, rights, and values as a country.

A world of disinformation includes a truck demonstration and Terry Fox desecration. The Ottawa Citizen calls something so crazy, it has to be true. The OPP and RCMP are needed. It's a world of pure imagination that will soon become a world of pure incarceration, no longer playing in downtown Ottawa. There is no life to compare with the artist's information. You'll be free if you hate CBC.

Canada is committed to defending freedom of expression, conscience, and peaceful protest. We also stand against violence and hatred. It's crucial to remember that the actions of a few individuals do not reflect the entire community or Canada as a whole.

The speaker discusses Canada becoming interesting in January and February due to protesters in Ottawa. The job of reporters, according to the speaker, is to go out and ask protesters why they are on the streets, why they are there with their kids, and why there is a bouncy castle in the middle of Ottawa, to discover the story. The speaker claims the Government did not want that and that the Prime Minister decided in advance that the protesters were all the modern excommunications—Nazis, white supremacists, anti-Semites, probably homophobes, misogynists, probably transphobes, etc.—and then he brings in the Emergency Powers Act. The speaker asks what the mainstream media would do at such a time, and asserts they would question it, but claims the Canadian mainstream media did not and instead acted as an Amen Chorus of the government. Several examples are provided. A CBC host described the Freedom Convoy as a feral mob. A Toronto Star columnist said, “sorry for the language, it's a homegrown hate farm that was then jet fueled by an American right funded rat fucking operation.” The speaker notes that CBC claimed two indigenous women who were scared to go outside in Ottawa because of racist violence did not bother to mention that indigenous drummers had led the truckers in an 0 Canada rendition. The National Observer allegedly stated that many black and indigenous freedom convoy supporters were, in fact, duped by the truckers. A Globe and Mail reporter claimed, “My 13 year old son told me to tell protesters I'm not a Jew” out of fear of antisemitic violence, without mentioning that one of the convoy leaders was Jewish. The speaker argues this demonstrably rancid and corrupt behavior is rooted in a system where in Canada, the media is funded by the government. It is stated that in 2018, election year, there was a coincidence with the government funding; the Canadian media allegedly received $595,000,000 over five years, and the Toronto Star estimated it was going to be getting $3,000,000 from the Government in the first half of the year. The government is described as able to tell banks to shut down people’s bank accounts, and able to tell the media what to do, with the media then doing the bidding of the government camp. The speaker concludes that this is not a free society’s media.

Justin Trudeau's office has been the target of protests by individuals who believe that showing up in front of a terrorist's office is necessary. The speaker questions how many times this needs to happen before they can move on.

Conservative party members can stand with those waving swastikas and the confederate flag. We choose to stand with Canadians who need to get back to work and reclaim their lives.

I'm being called a fascist for wanting to stop the war in Ukraine today. I'm against the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of people and I'm looking for peace, not war. I didn't come here to be aggressive, but a member of parliament started screaming at me for asking a question, which is all on video. I'm just showing what's happening and exposing Charlie Angus for who he is: a member of parliament who screams and swears at Canadian citizens. He slanders people and wants to revoke citizenship of those he disagrees with, yet he calls me a fascist. This group surrounded and shouted me down for simply asking a question. Who are the real fascists here? I have it all on video.

Their assets have been frozen, and they have been labeled as Nazis, racists, and terrorists. Many have been arrested on false charges and accused of foreign loyalties, despite their clear love for their country. They are being treated worse than serious criminals. A critical line has been drawn: you either support the peaceful truckers or align with the oppressive forces against them. We stand with the truckers and the Canadian people in their fight for freedom. Thank you.

I tested positive for COVID-19, but I feel well with no symptoms. I urge Canadians to get vaccinated. Regarding the recent protests in our capital city, freedom of expression is important, but Nazi symbolism, racism, and disrespecting war memorials are not acceptable. Hate is never the answer. Canadians were shocked by the behavior of some protesters. We won't be intimidated by insults or abuse towards small business workers or stealing from the homeless. We won't tolerate racist flags, vandalism, or dishonoring our veterans. Politicians exploiting fears should consider the consequences of their actions. I thank the truckers who have been vaccinated and continue to work hard to keep our economy moving.

I urge all colleagues, especially in the Conservative Party of Canada, to avoid politicizing this issue. It is unhelpful to stand with those who promote white supremacy, Nazi abuse, and spread misinformation. Members of this house should not associate with known Nazis who glorify the Holocaust, spread anti-Muslim rhetoric, and use hateful slogans like "honk honk" (a reference to "Heil Hitler").

In our capital city this weekend, there were concerns about what was witnessed. Freedom of expression, assembly, and association are vital to democracy, as stated by Erwin Kotler. However, it is important to note that the use of Nazi symbolism, racist imagery, and desecration of war memorials occurred.

I regret using strong language towards intolerant protesters, not everyone in the protest. I believe in calling out hateful language. I want to encourage vaccination but respect individual choices. The polarization and toxicity were fueled by misinformation. Canadians need to listen, talk, and remember we are in this together as citizens.

I'm really upset right now. While driving home in Edmonton, I encountered a Palestinian protest, and all I could hear was "Death to Canada." It infuriates me. If you hate our country so much, go back to your own and fight there. I'm a proud Canadian, and after what I just experienced, I have no sympathy for this protest.

We have no intent to stay longer than necessary in Ottawa. I went to an overpass, saw the trucks, and decided to head to Ottawa to help. I started working out of the shed truck, trying to pull people together. We want to know what's really going on, because I saw so much misinformation and lies from mainstream media. Given Canada's support of Ukraine, there is concern that Russian actors could be fueling or instigating the protest. But I'll defer to public safety experts on that issue.

I don't just lack understanding, but we must also take a clear stance on what is happening when state deniers, democracy enemies, neo-Nazis, and neo-fascists walk around in our cities. Yes, that's right. Why are you getting upset about it now?
