Chris Farrell, the director of investigations and research for Judicial Watch, discusses various topics in an interview. He mentions that Joe Biden will likely move further to the left due to his low poll numbers and the impeachment inquiry. Republican senators are rejecting rushed immigration negotiations with Democrats. Farrell also reveals that the FBI's targeting of Catholics was not limited to one office but involved other offices as well. He criticizes FBI Director Christopher Wray for misleading statements about the issue. Farrell comments on Lindsey Graham's lack of interest in border security and discusses the legal issues surrounding Rudy Giuliani. He highlights the discovery of a large Hamas tunnel and suggests that U.S. funds for humanitarian assistance indirectly support such activities. Lastly, he addresses concerns about the media's coverage of Donald Trump and criticizes Nikki Haley for not truly supporting Trump's agenda.
Speaker 0: Let's talk with the director of investigations and research for Judicial Watch, Chris Farrell. Chris, welcome back to Victory News.
Speaker 1: Thank you very much for having me back.
Speaker 0: So Joe's poll numbers are dismal and add the impeachment inquiry now, and Hunter's legal problems remain in the headlines. Is going further to the left The only move that Biden has now for 24?
Speaker 1: As counterintuitive as it may seem, he will Drive harder to the left, because any move off of where he currently is will be seen as a concession or a loss or an admission that somehow what he's done is a failure. So the only thing he can do is double down and drive even further to this Sort of crazed, nearly Marxist left position that he and the party leadership and these are a lot of Obama retreads. You know, this is the third The 3rd Obama administration. They're gonna go as hard left as they can.
Speaker 0: Alright. Republican senators have stiff armed A rush by Democrats and White House officials to get an immigration deal this week. 15 of them wrote, rushed and secret negotiations with Democrats who want an open border And who caused the current crisis will not secure the border. Republican senators are stiff arming a rush by the Democrats and White House officials To get immigration deal done this week, what does this mean for Joe and his wish to settle the border issue quickly with conservatives?
Speaker 1: Well, I was kind of encouraged by the fact that they they saw through this disingenuous gamesmanship by the White House, Pretending to offer some kind of legit border reform or border border security improvement, It's all gamesmanship. It's it's hollow, empty rhetoric. They'll do anything, literally anything, to get what they want. So they'll enter into some agreement And they'll kind of sucker punch the Republicans and then flip on them, you know, 5 minutes later. So I'm glad the Republicans called it what it was.
This thrift ornament said, no. We're not gonna play your silly little game. We're not we're not part of we're not gonna be complicit.
Speaker 0: Right. Now Judicial Watch received 98 pages of heavily redacted documents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation last week on the agency's Traversal targeting of Catholics by the Richmond field office. Chris, if it's so heavily redacted, what did you learn?
Speaker 1: Well, Well, the disturbing thing is that once again, director Christopher Wray has made false and misleading statements to the public. We were told that, oh, no, this was just 1, very small, you know, Richmond oriented Event, nobody else was involved. Nothing was ever done. Well, now that we have these documents, it turns out it was run up the flagpole all the way to headquarters. The FBI Office of General Counsel evaluated it.
The Portland office was somehow involved. And the Milwaukee office. So now it's not just a couple of bad apples in Richmond. Other offices are involved, Milwaukee and Portland. And the general counsel was involved.
They did some sort of legal analysis or some sort of a test to evaluate what they could get away with. And having done all this, and they knew it, Director Wray went before Congress and either deliberately lied or Made misleading and less than fully accurate statements about the depth and scope of this anti Catholic, anti Christian Operation, it's very disturbing.
Speaker 0: It is very disturbing. And I don't know what it's gonna take to clean the FBI out. I I don't know if either one of us know What that will take but God, right? Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke at a Turning Point Action event. And she had a lot to say about Synodity Lindsey Graham.
Here we go.
Speaker 2: When we have produced pages and pages and hundreds of pages Bank statements from banks that show literally the money moving. How can Lindsey Graham in Washington DC on Meet the Press say But he hasn't seen a smoking gun of evidence.
Speaker 0: So why would senator Graham take that position? And what do you think about the efforts of the oversight judiciary And the evidence they've gathered, we've got 30 seconds here.
Speaker 1: The house is making great progress. And the only thing that Lindsey Graham is concerned with is Warhawk, kind of, you know, banging the drum for the defense industry. He never saw a war he didn't like.
Speaker 0: Yeah. There you go.
Speaker 3: How in the world would Rudy Giuliani be able to pay $148,000,000 award. But more importantly, why wasn't the former mayor of New York City allowed to present evidence in his side of the story?
Speaker 1: Well, the underlying problem is that no jury has ever found him guilty of doing that. It was a default judgment ended against him by Judge Beryl Howell here in here in Washington, DC, because there was an argument over discovery in the case. And because the judge didn't like mister Giuliani, She entered default judgment against him, which automatically put him at risk or at jeopardy. Then people jump in after the fact and say, well, We wanna bring a claim. They come up with this crazy number of $148,000,000.
It will not be sustained. He'll not be paying that kind of money. And ironically, the same day that they made that judgment of 148,000,000, Fulton County, Georgia said, oh, yeah. By the way, There's about 18,000 votes that were cast unlawfully. So on the very same day that he's being held to this money, Fulton County, Georgia admits that there were 18,000 votes that were involved with some kind of irregularity or fraud.
The irony here is too rich.
Speaker 3: Very good point. Now the largest Hamas terrorist tunnel ever discovered happened just recently. It stretches two and a half miles and is located near a major crossing From Gaza into Israel, do you think this is where humanitarian assistance funds go, and do you think you can build the most massive tunnel system on Earth at approximately 300 miles in length without support from a civilian population.
Speaker 1: Yeah. So the civilian population is obviously, woven into this. But also, keep in mind, your U. S. Tax dollars are financing this.
Every time the Biden administration Sends money to some phony, you know, front group that supposedly is involved in some sort of humanitarian activity. That relieves the financial burden on Hamas to divert funds because all the money's fungible. So the money ends up going to support Or to build exactly this type of, of tunnel complex, this is the naivete of American foreign policy.
Speaker 3: Good analysis. Yeah. The weekend news was focused on a homosexual democratic staffer of Maryland senator Ben Cardin having sex in the senate judiciary committee room. What is happening to our country? This along with the trans issue, growing anti Semitism, Hunter Biden's influence Headling reports are president Biden scolded his White House team for his falling poll numbers.
Is he really unable to do the math on this, Chris?
Speaker 1: Well, the public indecency matter that you first opened with is really something that needs to be handled criminally. This is it's an outrage. It's a perversion. It's a disgrace to the capital that needs to be pursued in a lawful manner. And, you know, Biden's numbers on this, all the trends, all the patterns, all the sort of downside, the consequences Of his public policy, are finally coming home to roost.
And he's seeing why his numbers are so soft. What's disturbing is the instincts from From all the political operators in DC is to double down, is to go further to the left, to do even weirder, crazier, more marginally Acceptable things and try to call that normal. That's the problem.
Speaker 3: Yep. Good analysis once again. And Nikki Haley pushed back against the mainstream media and their constant attacks on Donald Trump on ABC this week.
Speaker 4: He's running on Tributor, and he wants to go out and he talks about annihilating his enemies and using the criminal justice system to do so. What what do you what do you think of that?
Speaker 2: You guys are exhausting. Thank you. You're exhausting in your obsession with him.
Speaker 3: Yeah. Haley said normal people wanna talk about not being able to afford things and feeling like government's too big and their freedoms are being taken away. Is she right about the Trump coverage by the media and voter concerns?
Speaker 1: Well, she's right in what she's saying with respect to the media's obsession with all things Trump. But Nikki Haley is hardly an advocate for, for a Make America Great Again sort of America first approach the things. She's not helping Trump. She's trying to, you know, cushion her own
Speaker 3: Trying to help herself. Chris, thank you for your insight. We appreciate it.
Speaker 1: Thank you.
