I’m looking at a thread about Renee Good’s fatal shooting by ICE. It frames the case as murder or self-defense, cites a video and multiple angles, including a POV clip of Ross, taunting from Renee’s wife, and claims that Renee backs the car toward the officer. It notes a past incident, cites the legality of deadly force, and ends by asking for readers’ verdicts.

The shooting of Renee Good Was it murder? Or self-defense? Here's the full story. 🧵/1

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Two days ago, Renee Good was fatally shot by ICE. The Minnesota Reformer broke the story, posting a video of the shooting, comparing it to “the murder of George Floyd”. /2

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

The video starts with Good parked in the middle of the street deliberately impeding ICE. Good ignores officer orders to get out of the car. As an officer tries to open the car door, Good drives forward in the direction of ICE Agent Jonathan Ross, who fires three shots at Good. /3

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Officer Ross was immediately labeled a “murderer” by activists and onlookers at the scene. "Don't let the murderer leave! Don't let the murderer leave! You guys are the fucking criminals! You don't get to tell us what to do. Fucking criminals!" /4

Today, a new video recorded from Officer Ross’s POV shows a quiet Ross recording Renee Good calmly telling him, “That’s fine dude, I’m not mad at you.” Then we see and hear Renee’s wife Rebecca taunting Ross, “You wanna come at us? “You wanna come at us?" /5

As Renee is repeatedly told to “Get out of the car,” her wife Rebecca yells at her to “Drive, baby! Drive! Drive!”. Renee then quickly backs up, accelerates the vehicle forward, and appears to hit Ross with the vehicle, as she is shot and drives away. /6

A fourth camera angle of the shooting shows another detail obscured in the original video. Ross did not walk in front of the car. Rather, as he walks towards the car, Renee backs the car up into a position that put Ross directly in front of the vehicle. /9

Last year, Officer Ross was injured by a vehicle as he tried to arrest a convicted sex offender on an immigration order. It's not clear this past incident would be admissible in court, but it does provide some insight into what Ross may have been thinking. /10

Video Transcript AI Summary
This is about an ICE arrest attempt involving Roberto Carlos Munoz Guatemala, a convicted sex offender, on an immigration order. Per the Department of Justice, on 06/17/2025, law enforcement officers attempted to arrest him. The officers were trying to carry out ICE’s responsibilities, and this situation is described as part of what ICE officers are trying to do. The person referenced is the same officer who had been dragged during an ICE arrest just this past June and who reportedly got seriously injured. The narrative states: this officer is the same one now being demonized as a murderer by protesters, while the speaker asserts he was the one who stopped Munoz Guatemala along with his fellow ICE agents. The suspect was uncooperative and refused to follow instructions. After warning him several times, an agent—identified as the same agent involved in yesterday’s shooting—broke the back window of the suspect’s car so that the vehicle could be opened from the inside. The man accelerated his car. The account notes that the video shows it’s the same agent; the man had a mask on yesterday, but the speaker claims the same hair. As the suspect sped away, the agent’s arm became trapped between the seat and the car frame. The agent is on the driver’s side toward the back, so the footage does not show him being dragged, but it is asserted that he was dragged for more than 100 yards while the driver of the car weaved back and forth in an attempt to shake him from the vehicle. The speaker states the driver was completely immune to the thought of running over him or causing other damage. The agent was eventually jarred free from the car but suffered significant injuries to his arms and hand.

This same guy, this poor ICE agent, Per the Department of Justice, on 06/17/2025, law enforcement officers attempted to arrest Roberto Carlos Munoz Guatemala, a convicted sex offender, on an immigration order. By the way, this is what ICE officers are trying to do. This is the terrible work that these lunatics are out there protesting against. They'd rather have mister Guatemala have access to their children, I guess. Because this agent that they're now demonizing as a murderer was the one who stopped him along with his fellow ICE agents. The guy was uncooperative. He refused to follow instructions. After warning him several times, an agent, who is the same agent involved in yesterday's shooting, broke the back window of the suspect's car so that he could open the vehicle from the inside. The man then accelerated his car. You look. You can see it's the same agent. The guy had a mask on yesterday, but same hair. As he sped away, the agent's arm became trapped between the seat and the car frame. You can't see the agent in this video we're showing, but we are showing the car rushing away from the scene. The agent is on the driver's side toward the back, so you cannot see him being dragged, but he's being dragged, and that's undisputed, for more than 100 yards, while the maniac driving the car is weaving back and forth in an attempt to shake him from the car, completely immune to the thought of running over him or what other damage he was causing. The agent was eventually jarred free from the car but suffered significant injuries to his arms and hand.

Speaker 0: This is not rocket science. We know exactly what we can do and what we should be doing. Please wear a mask. There's no reason to be walking around with a mask. I often myself wear two masks. Speaker 1: There's an email from you, including I do not recommend that you wear a mask. Speaker 0: Everybody should be wearing a mask when they're outside. People should not be walking around with masks. I wear a mask when I'm outside. You don't need a mask when you're outside. Wear a mask at all times when you're outside. So even if you are vaccinated, you should wear a mask. If you are vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask. Speaker 1: Doctor Fauci. Thank you for your clarity. Speaker 0: If you wear a mask, you can decrease the likelihood of transmitting or requiring COVID nineteen by fifty, sixty, seventy, maybe eighty percent. Speaker 2: Said masks work at the margins maybe ten percent. Speaker 1: You're a master communicator. Speaker 0: Wear a mask all the time consistently when you're outside. It's not like I always wear one, always wear a mask. We do not recommend people wearing masks. Children should still wear masks. At least one mask. You don't need to be walking around with a mask. Absolutely. We should have universal wearing of masks. Mandating masks? Yes. Let's do it. If it doesn't happen nationally, then think that the mayors and the governors should do it. Speaker 1: Mask mandates did nothing. Forget the politics. Look at the data. Mask mandate states fared no better than states without mask mandates. Speaker 2: In hindsight though, when you look at this, do you think the mask mandates were were a mistake? Speaker 0: You know, I want Caitlin, I don't wanna say a mistake, but I think we really need to remember. Speaker 2: This high school student ended up in handcuffs after she refused to wear a mask. Speaker 1: Wear a mask. A man was removed from a SEPTA bus for not wearing a mask. Speaker 0: Just wear a mask. Speaker 2: Ohio woman tased after refusing to wear a mask. No. Speaker 0: Wear your mask. Speaker 1: Not wearing a mask. This is what they do to you. Speaker 0: Make sure you have a mask. Speaker 1: Where's your mask at? Speaker 0: Wear a mask. Get your hand up, ma'am. Follow the science. Speaker 2: The officer body slamming a woman when she refused to wear a mask. Speaker 0: Based purely on the science. Speaker 2: They were yanked out of a school board meeting after refusing to wear masks. Speaker 0: Wear a mask. Speaker 1: She's in jail over a dispute on whether or not to wear masks. Wear a mask. She was walking without a mask. Speaker 0: Everybody should wear a mask. She was told Speaker 3: to wear a mask Speaker 1: but refused. Gotta wear a mask. Speaker 4: And a mother is arrested in front of a young child. Speaker 0: You should be wearing Speaker 2: a Do you wear a mask when you're not on television? Speaker 0: Well, you know, my my life is is pretty different. I can say as a public health official that I would urge the leaders, the local political and other leaders in states and cities and towns to be as forceful as possible in getting your citizenry to wear masks. Be as forceful as possible. Horse down in handcuffs. Wear a mask. Speaker 1: I'm being arrested because I refuse to wear a mask. Speaker 0: Masks are very important. Speaker 1: Are you joking right now? This This is is a America. Wear Speaker 0: You should be wearing a mask. Speaker 2: He was tased in front of his wife and child. Speaker 0: Guided purely by the science. Speaker 1: That 66 year old hand got because he didn't wear a mask. Look at the science. There is just no evidence that they, masks, make any difference, full stop. The n 95 masks, surgical or cloth masks, makes no difference. Speaker 2: Okay. Then why was I wearing a mask for so many times? Speaker 1: Policymakers to impose mask mandates were convinced by nonrandomized, flawed observational studies. Speaker 0: But there's nothing to indicate that wearing a mask has deleterious effects. Speaker 4: It does have cost. I can't count how many parents have called me and said, look, a kid can't wear a mask. It's really hurting. Speaker 1: Cannot read in this mask. Speaker 4: Or parents telling me that their kids didn't learn how to read or have verbal problems as a result of the masking. It has costs. It absolutely has harms, and there's no evidence of working. Obviously, Speaker 0: children who are older than two years old should be wearing a mask. Speaker 5: Mask mandates for children under five. Speaker 0: And going back to what I said before, all of that is in the context of at the time, masks mandates for children under five, Speaker 5: there's scientific evidence for that? Excuse me? Mask mandates for children under five, there's scientific evidence supporting that? Speaker 0: There was no study that did masks on kids before you couldn't do the study. Children of a certain age greater than two years old should be wearing masks. No doubt about Speaker 1: that. Children should be wearing Speaker 0: the mask. Speaker 2: They were kicked off a plane because their two year old wouldn't put on her mask. Speaker 0: Have the children have masks. Speaker 4: Her family was also kicked off the flight. Speaker 1: My son was eating french fries boarding the plane. He didn't have a mask on. Speaker 0: It is really not prudent to pull masks off children. When the children go out into the community, you want them to continue to wear masks. Speaker 4: Mom is bold to get off a flight because two year Speaker 1: olds would not wear a mask. Speaker 0: Children should be wearing masks. I'm two years old. No. You're dealing with science. Speaker 4: Two year old with asthma thrown off a flight for not wearing a mask. Speaker 1: Stick with the science. Disabled 10 year Speaker 4: old kicked out of the market for not wearing a mask. Speaker 2: Should children be wearing masks? Yes. A little girl suspended for not wearing Speaker 1: her mask. Speaker 0: Keep everybody masked. Speaker 1: Police were called over the child's face mask. Speaker 0: Wear her mask. Speaker 1: If you're not wearing your mask, you will be suspended. Speaker 0: You really should be wearing a mask. Speaker 6: And the best way for me Speaker 7: to prevent getting an infectious disease is wearing a mask. Speaker 0: No. No. No. Speaker 7: You need to do that? Speaker 0: You avoid all the paranoid aspects and do something positive. Get some exercise. That's correct. Get good sleep. I think that the normal low tech healthy things are the best thing that you can do, David, is stay healthy. Speaker 7: Alright. Well, I'm gonna try to do that. Speaker 0: So that was the reason for what is considered inconsistencies about recommendations of wearing masks. Speaker 3: Doctor Fauci, before I begin with my questions, just wanted to ask you, does wearing masks stop the spread Speaker 8: of COVID or help prevent the spread of COVID? Speaker 0: I'm sorry, sir. I I didn't hear your question. Speaker 3: Doctor Fauci, does wearing masks help stop the spread of COVID? Absolutely. Should people keep wearing masks? Speaker 1: Absolutely. What specific studies do you cite to argue that the public should be wearing masks well into 2022? Speaker 0: I'm not sure I understand the connection of what you're saying. You're telling everybody to wear a mask. Isn't it just theater? It's vaccine and you're wearing two masks. Isn't that theater? No. That's not here we go again with the theater. Let let let's get down to the facts. There's no science behind it. Well, let me just state for the record that masks are not theater. Masks are protected. There's no science behind it. Here we go again with the theater. Speaker 1: Isn't that theater? Isn't it just theater? Well, let Speaker 0: me just state for the record that masks are not theater. There's no science behind it. If you need to be in society, just wear a protective cloth clothing that would essentially be a functionally equivalent of a mask. You've gotta get a well fitted mask that has of a high quality. Speaker 1: And the two we Speaker 0: know are high quality are an n 95 or a k n 95. It doesn't have to be a an n 95, a surgical mask, but just a cloth covering. Cloth coverings work. Speaker 1: So I've heard now cloth masks are basically kinda useless. Speaker 0: Yeah. They well, I recommend that you get the highest quality mask. Speaker 1: What what do you do? What what kind of what kind of mask do you wear? Speaker 0: Well, I have a bunch of the paper type masks and a bunch of cloth masks. Okay? That's what I do. The mask that you buy in a drugstore would be not particularly efficient in keeping out virus. Be as forceful as possible. Speaker 1: That was by Orf. Beautiful video. Orf. Five years ago, a significant smear campaign targeted Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old who volunteered to help during the Kenosha riots. Despite his actions being in self-defense, media outlets misrepresented the events, omitting crucial details and labeling him negatively. Big Tech platforms censored support for him, impacting public perception. After enduring extensive legal battles, he was acquitted, yet misinformation persisted, leading many to still view him unfavorably. I'm working on a documentary titled "Killing Kenosha" to explore these events further.

Five years ago, one of the most tyrannical smear and censorship campaigns in history was unleashed on a 17-year-old boy.🧵/1

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

After two nights of riots in Kenosha, WI, Kyle Rittenhouse volunteered to clean up the destruction and protect the immigrant Indian family business Car Source, whose car lots were burned the previous nights. He brought his lifeguard medical kit to provide first aid. /2

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Videos published that night clearly show KR being attacked. A gunshot is fired behind KR as he runs from a masked man lunging at him. KR shoots him. Then, KR is chased by a mob, hit in the head, kicked in the face, and hit with a skateboard before firing again in self-defense./3

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

But the media misinformed the masses. MSNBC's Kelly Clarkson cut out not only the jump-kick but the entire chase, describing the 17-year-old, who fell after running away and being hit in the head, as "a man sitting in the middle of the street waving a gun at people running by". /4

MSNBC's "The Beat with Ari Melber" also edited out crucial moments. His audience never saw KR kicked in the face and hit with the skateboard before shots rang out. "Now this will be paused before that actual shot. That's part of our standards," Melber told viewers. /5

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Without showing the video at all, MSNBC's "Morning Joe" described it to viewers as KR "just running around shooting and killing protesters". Over at CNN, Anderson Cooper described the "white teenager" as the attacker in "a shooting attack on protesters." /6

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Democracy Now's Amy Goodman spread the misinformation that KR was "shooting into a crowd," emphasizing that KR was a "white man". /7

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Some Fox News pundits also rushed to judgment. Chris Wallace said there was "no justification" for KR's self-defense, and Marie Harf repeatedly described KR as guilty of "murder", just two days after the shooting, over a year before trial. /8

Twitter censored the words "Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong," labeling the support for the 17-year-old who was attacked, "glorifying violence". Users were forced to delete these tweets to continue using Twitter. /12

Speaker 3: Drove to a different state. Speaker 2: Drives up to the state. Again, Speaker 3: drove across state lines. Speaker 6: The state that he does not live in. He traveled there from out of state. He crossed state lines. Meaning, he traveled across state lines. The 17 year old who crossed state lines. Now, again, he drove from Illinois to Wisconsin. The 17 year old from out of state who shows up to Kenosha, Wisconsin. He drove from Illinois to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Kyle Rittenhouse, who again traveled across state lines in a state that he doesn't even live in. He crossed state lines. He drove across state lines. Speaker 2: We know that Kyle Rittenhouse traveled across state lines, to go to Kenosha, and he murdered two protesters. Speaker 4: Willing to drive across state lines to commit murder. Speaker 5: And did anyone help him cross state lines? Speaker 3: His mama drove him across state lines. Speaker 4: Rittenhouse's mother did not drive him to Kenosha. Rittenhouse's mother drove her son across state lines. Speaker 5: And look at Rittenhouse, who was driven by his mother across state lines. Frankly, she should have been detained for child endangerment. Speaker 7: My mama would never drive either one of us across state lines to go to a freaking riot. Speaker 2: Yeah. This 17 year old conveyed across state lines by mom. Rittenhouse in Kenosha, allowing his mom to take him across state lines across state lines. Speaker 3: Across state lines. Yeah. Look. Yeah. We have a system of laws in the country. There are times where you can defend yourself. It's gonna vary from state to state when you can use force to defend your property, but you don't have a right in every state anywhere in the country to merely start you know, cross state lines. Say Speaker 4: the line, Bart.

Facebook took down a video I posted showing Kyle Rittenhouse helping one of the protesters in Kenosha that night after she was struck in the foot with a projectile, and that he had his first aid kit with him to show he did not go to the city to cause trouble or attack protesters. I didn't glorify, celebrate, or praise him; I simply showed a video and explained what it showed. They sent a notice stating they don't allow symbols, praise, or support of dangerous individuals or organizations, defined as terrorist activity, organized hate or violence, mass or serial murder, human trafficking or criminal or harmful activity. My page has over 800,000 followers. In the week, it reached almost 6,000,000 people. They gave me a community guidelines strike, took the post down, and restricted the page's reach because I violated the terms three times in ninety days, so they say.

I didn't glorify, celebrate, or praise him. I simply showed a non graphic video and explained in very plain terms exactly what the video showed. They gave me this wonderful notice saying that they don't allow symbols, praise, or support of dangerous individuals or organizations, and they define those things as terrorist activity, organized hate or violence, mass or serial murder, human trafficking or criminal or harmful activity. My page has over 800,000 people following it. In the last week alone, it reached almost 6,000,000 people. Miraculously, after 87 days behind bars, KR raised enough funds to pay the $2 million bail. Then, after enduring over a year's worth of smears and censorship, he would successfully defend himself again—this time in the courtroom. A jury acquitted him of all charges. /23

I discussed the Hamilton 68 dashboard, which was launched by the Alliance for Securing Democracy to track alleged Russian bots during the 2016 election. This initiative, promoted by key figures like Hillary Clinton and former CIA directors, falsely labeled many legitimate accounts as Russian operatives, leading to widespread media misinformation. Despite discovering its inaccuracies, Twitter executives chose not to expose the operation, likely due to political pressures. The involvement of former CIA leaders raises questions about their roles in promoting this disinformation campaign.

The Russian Bot Hoax

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speakers claim that America is under attack by Russian bots on Twitter, which are part of an ongoing attack by the Russian government. These bots are flooding Twitter, targeting Americans, and attempting to fan the flames of political discord by creating echo chambers and alternate realities. The speakers reference Hamilton 68, a website tracking Russian-linked Twitter accounts, as evidence of this activity. They claim this dashboard shows Russian bots are involved in various topics, from political narratives to school shootings. However, another speaker alleges that Hamilton 68 is a fraud. They claim the list of accounts it tracks are not Russian bots, but rather ordinary Americans, and that Hamilton 68 is misrepresenting organic opinions as Russian influence. Some speakers claim they are personally targeted by Russian bots. A dashboard at securingdemocracy.org is suggested for tracking Russian activity. A video by Matt Orphala is praised. Negative news about vaccines is said to be amplified by Russian bots.

Twitter execs discovered the Ham 68 fraud by reverse-engineering the site but decided not to out ASD's disinformation op. "We have to be careful," wrote Twitter Head of Global Comms, Emily Horne, presumably fearful of political backlash from Ham 68's powerful deep state ties. /5

It appears Hamilton 68's parent, ASD, wants to keep those ties secret as it deleted its list of advisors, including former acting CIA director Mike Morell, from its website. /6

Speaker 0: Work with the German Marshall Fund. There's a group that tracks what the what the Russians are doing, and we try to make it transparent. So if you go to Hamilton Sixty Eight, I know General Hayden is also involved in that, and it's great to see you, sir, who has never given up the mantle of that best intelligence officer, by the way. And I always said that he's whatever happened to him the last year, we're all not sure, but he sure got a lot better looking. I don't know you know that. It's Hamilton 68 Dot Com. So what we were trying to do is track what the Russian trolls and the bot armies were doing and then make it available for the public to get on and take a look so they can make an informed decision.

It wouldn't be the first time Rogers slipped up on camera with Hayden. In 2013, Hayden said he thought of putting Ed Snowden on a kill list. Rogers laughed and told Hayden, “I can help you with that,” before remembering he was on camera. /13

Any behind-the-scenes involvement with the nefarious Hamilton 68 scam would be consistent with Hayden’s prolific promotion of the dashboard and its leader, Clint Watts, in his book, on TV, and at influential think tanks. /14

"Remember that #TakeAKnee thing?" Fmr. CIA Director Hayden blames "Russian bots". Guess what his source is? His book cites the Hamilton 68 dashboard that the #TwitterFiles exposed to be a scam tracking mostly Americans, not Russians or bots.

The president gave a speech that fed his base, and before he returned to Washington, Russian bots amplified the "take a knee" issue, framing it as a conflict between patriotic and constitutional sides. Alt-right media then mirrored the Russian bots' messaging.

Hayden promoted Watts at the Atlantic Council, the Hoover Institute, and the AFCEA. At Princeton, Hayden compared Russian bot attacks to 9/11, advocating for an "extraordinary" response like we had after 9/11. Ham 68 parents, Rosenberger and Watts, also spoke at the event. /15

Not long after Hamilton 68 launched, Hayden and Watts sat on a CSIS panel together. The host began the event by promoting Hamilton 68 and referring to Watts and Hayden as part of a “dream team”. /16

Hayden even used Ham 68 graphs in a lecture at Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security, in which he said “Russian bots” were responsible for trending the hashtags #MAGA and #TakeAKnee. “Hamilton 68 knows they’re Russian bots,” he told the spooks in training. /17

Hamilton 68, a German Marshall Fund project, tracks trending hashtags and topics among Russian bots. In late September/early October, trending hashtags included "Take a knee," "Boycott the NFL," "NFL," and "MAGA." The trending hashtags also included "Steelers," referencing Alejandro Villanueva. According to the speaker, Villanueva, an Army Special Forces veteran, made an exception and stayed in the runway during the anthem. The speaker claims that before the president landed in DC after a Friday night speech in Huntsville, Russian bots were already promoting "Take a knee." While Hamilton 68 identifies these bots, most social media users do not.

Speaker 0: This is just a quick screen capture of once upon a time of, something called Hamilton 68, number by a think tank up the street here, German American Marshall Fund. It is it is a running dashboard of what Russian bots are trending in terms of hashtags and and topics. Okay? I don't know if you can see this, but this one here, this was late September, early October. Take a knee. Boycott the NFL. Take a knee. NFL. MAGA. Okay? Trending hashtag, Steelers. Remember Alejandro Villanueva? Remember the Steelers offensive tackle? Army special forces, West Point kinda snuck to the runway because he, you know, you know and and then the team I was brought in by the team to talk to I mean, I I know the inside football story here. Everyone knew he was gonna go do it. They knew Alejandro had to, you know, kinda make a bit of an exception. He didn't go out for the anthem. He just stayed in the runway. Sorry. The the point is so the president makes a speech in Huntsville on a Friday night. Before the president lands in DC, Russian bots are all over. Take a knee. And and, you know, although Hamilton sixty eight knows the Russian bots, most people in social media do not know that.

Ham 68 was just one of many widely cited “Russian bot” trackers that proved fraudulent. New Knowledge was caught running a false flag operation of “Russian bots” on Twitter. There was also the Global Engagement Center (GEC), which used the “exact formula” as Ham 68. /22

Video Transcript AI Summary
In 2016, Barack Obama created the Global Engagement Center (GEC) to counter terrorist messaging abroad. Emails revealed the GEC was also concerned with domestic English language accounts, including those with no ties to terror groups. The GEC pressured Twitter to remove or de-amplify Americans accused of misinformation. In 2020, a Twitter executive expressed concern over a Washington Post article about Russia helping Bernie Sanders' campaign. Yoel Roth of Twitter criticized GEC's methods, comparing them to Hamilton 68, which falsely synthesized Russian social media backing. The GEC targeted left-leaning figures like Sanders, anti-war accounts, libertarians, and independents, along with conservatives. They identified accounts "highly connective" to foreign propaganda ecosystems, including those of European politicians, based on retweeting "anti-US" or "pro-Russian" content. This created guilt by ideological association. The GEC sought orthodoxy and obedience, propagandizing to Americans like foreign populations, violating First Amendment ideals.

Speaker 0: On 03/14/2016, Barack Obama signed executive order thirteen seven two one, developing a new integrated global engagement center to support government wide counterterrorism communications activities directed abroad. It directed the secretary of state to create a new body, the GEC or GEC, to, quote, counter the messaging and diminish the influence of international terrorist organizations, including ISIL, Al Qaeda, and other violent extremists abroad. Seven years later, while working on a story involving internal communications at Twitter, I found myself reading emails between GAC officials and Twitter executives about subjects ranging from COVID nineteen to the twenty twenty elections and Donald Trump. Once chairman, you're you were mister chairman, you were right to point out that they were once focused abroad. But by this time, GEC officials were largely concerned with domestic English language accounts, people with no ties to terror groups or relationships with adversary nations like Iran, China, or Russia. When I went back this weekend through those documents to find examples of Geck pressuring Twitter to remove or de amplify Americans accused of misinformation, I found an exchange that we Twitter files reporters missed in 2023. A lawyer at the company asked several other executives if they had any, quote, appetite for writing Geck a letter to ask them to stop going to the media with sensationalist claims about epidemics of foreign bots. One of the company's senior communications executives gave a remarkably candid answer. From my chair, it would be very helpful, he wrote. Referencing a well known Washington reporter. He went on, the pre briefed Ellen Nakashima article in the post on Bernie and this coronavirus story, no heads up, are making me worry a little about how good faith these players will be through the press into 2020. So it wasn't just conservatives. It was also Bernie Sanders. The date on that email was 02/24/2020, '3 days after the Washington Post ran a devastating feature titled Bernie Sanders briefed by US Officials that Russia is trying to help his presidential campaign. This was an extremely impactful story that opened the floodgates on a conspiracy theory that Sanders was the recipient of Russian help. It claimed bots helping Bernie online were part of, quote, Russia's broader interest in sewing division in The United States and uncertainty about the validity of American elections. In response to this odd sequel of claims about Russian bots aiding Donald Trump, the company's head of trust and safety, Yole Roth, gave an unflattering description of GEC's methods. Quote, they use BrandWatch to monitor a handful of openly Russian accounts, for instance, RT, and an unspecified number of accounts that they baseless baselessly assert are inauthentic. This is the exact formula we previously found found behind another often used online tool called Hamilton 68, whose founders were also quoted in the post piece. Hamilton 68 mixed the smattering of real Russian accounts with a crowd of mostly American, mostly anti establishment accounts to create a dashboard that synthesized falsely the appearance of Russian social media backing for everything from the Devin Nunes memo to the Parkland shooting. Although many of the most controversial stories about GEC involve their their funding of commercial media scoring operations that down ranked conservative news outlets. The Geck also pressured Twitter about left leaning figures like Sanders, anti war accounts, libertarians, and independents, as well as conservatives. They managed this by using a trick that gave domestic propaganda the appearance of a counter terrorist operation. Geck sent out reports that would first identify a few social media accounts with real ties to Russia or China or Iran. Then it would separately list accounts they called highly connective to that country's propaganda ecosystem. These would be American or European citizens with inconvenient views. For instance, Geck identified the Twitter accounts of former Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte and former Italian Democratic Party secretary Nicola Zingarelli, who was often compared to Bernie as being highly connective to Russia. All he had to do to do to get in the list was retweet what they called anti US propaganda or Geck's subjective definition of pro Russian propaganda. No actual connection was required. Through this means, the Geck exactly rehabilitated the fellow traveler concept used by infamous smear artists and witch hunters from history, from Leon Trotsky to the House on American Affairs Committee. It was a way to accuse someone who hasn't done anything wrong of guilt by ideological association. And I'll just wrap up. I'm gone over my time, but they weren't looking for misinformation and disinformation. They were looking for orthodoxy and unorthodoxy, obedience and disobedience. The idea behind Geck in particular was finding a way to propagandize American citizens and encourage acceptance of official policy the way we'd always done to foreign populations. It's a flagrant violation of first amendment ideals and should be eradicated from the government completely. No one should have this tool, not Democrats, not the Trump administration, nobody. Gentleman's time has expired. Thank you.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

It just so happens that the GEC's J.M. Berger and New Knowledge CEO Jonathon Morgan are also co-creators of Hamilton 68…/23

Speaker 0: Look. Here's the deal. Let me say this simply and clearly. We hold these truths to be self evident. All men and women created by go, you know the you know the thing. You know how we talk about it. Are we the people? Folks, we gotta it's just but you gotta I mean, the we gotta reassure look. My my message to everybody I talk to is Play the radio. Make sure the television excuse me. Make sure you have the record player on at night. The the the phone make sure the kids hear words. I got a lot of I got hairy legs that turn that that that that that that turn blonde in the sun. And the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again. They'd look at it. So I learned about roaches. I learned about kids jumping on my lap. And I love kids jumping on my lap. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids. You know, there's a during World War two, you know, where Roosevelt came up with a thing that, you know, was totally different than a than the the it's called he called it the, you know, the World War two. He had the war the the war production board. Hello darkness, my old friends. $1,200,000,000 in overtime was denied by our for hourly workers who were not unionized. 1,200,000,000.0. So you go ahead and you stack spaghetti sauce at a store and and and and a supermarket. You control the guy or the woman who runs the run brings out the carts on on on on a forklift. What happens? They make you management. Speaker 1: So would you like to say a couple words? Speaker 0: Am I supposed to speak now or is Yeah. Is Karen supposed to speak? I don't know. I don't wanna get in trouble here. Oh, it's me. Okay. Well, you know, there's a great philosopher, and he talked about Jill puts notes up on my on my mirror when she wants me to where I shave to get message messages across to me. And What presidents say matter. Speaker 1: The former vice president suggests the black community lacks diversity of thought. Speaker 0: We choose truth over facts. Speaker 1: Biden complimented the town before incorrectly identifying which state he was speaking in. Speaker 2: Joe Biden forgot he was in a video livestream and abruptly walked off camera. Speaker 0: And I spent an hour and a half today on the telephone. I mean, on on excuse me, on what we're doing right now on on camera. Speaker 1: Biden making a series of unusual rhetorical detours at the town hall dedicated to health care. Speaker 0: Imagine what would happen if, God forbid, Barack Obama had been assassinated after becoming the de facto nominee. The first sort of mainstream African American Yes. Who is articulate and bright and and and clean and nice looking guy. If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black. It don't have nothing to do with Trump. If you notice, I have more people supporting me in the black community than announce for me. The only black African American woman that ever been elected to the United States Senate. A whole range of people. No. Poisoning you. Not true. The other one is here. I have a record that is second to none. The NAACP has endorsed me every time I've run. The world I mean, come on. The NAACP does not endorse candidates for political office at any level. How many unsafe bridges you still have here in the state of Ohio? I mean, Iowa. And I was just in Ohio because they have more. It is important that Iowa and Nevada have spoken, but look. I love this place. I look. What's not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it? And what a neat town. Look. Tomorrow's superstar Tuesday. And I wanna thank you all. I tell you what, I'm rushing ahead, aren't I? Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome to Kingswood Community Center. Actually, that's the one down I used to work. It was a joke. You didn't know where we were anyway. Business is realizing they've they've got a they've got a price in the car they they have they have to price in the price of carbon. And so there's so much I think I anyway, look, I I one one one more question here. Is it too late to address the climate change? Well, I'm so glad to hear you talking about that as eloquently as you do, Joe. You know, the rapidly rising in with with I don't know. We cannot let this. We've never allowed any crisis from the civil war straight through to the pandemic of seventeen all the way around '16. We have never never let our democracy say second fiddle, way that we can both have a democracy and elections and at the same time correct the public health. COVID has taken this year, just since the outbreak, has taken more than one hundred year look. Here's the lives. It's just it's a I mean, you think about it. We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what. I tell you what, I'm so darn proud. And those poor people who have lost you know, anyway. Have you been tested for some degree of cognitive decline? I've been tested and I'm constantly tested. Speaker 2: Have you taken a cognitive test? Speaker 0: No. I haven't taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? You're getting nervous, man. Calm down. It's okay. Anyway, I am I am very willing to let the American public judge my physical and mental my physical as well as my mental fill fitness. Your husband has been known to make the occasional gaffe? No. The gaffe issue is over because Over. Speaker 1: So over. Speaker 0: By the way, it's my little sister, Valerie, and I'm Jill's husband. Oh, This oh, you switched on me. This is my wife. This is my sister. They switched on me. Alright, Chuck. Thank you very much. Alright. It's Chris. But anyway, why the hell would I take a test? Are are you a What Speaker 2: do you say to president Trump who brags about his test and makes your number's state an issue for voters? Speaker 0: Well, I don't know what the hell he's talking about. I just I just can't figure the guy. It's like it's I don't know. It's like watching a yo yo. I shouldn't have said it that way. It's like watching Speaker 1: feels that way. I wanna ask I want Speaker 0: Donald Trump does pose an excellent strength to this. The it's not hypothetical. Why doesn't he just act like a president? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? You're getting nervous, man. Look, man. You're a lion dog faced pony soldier. That's a stupid way to say Speaker 1: You know, Donald Trump was an Speaker 0: asshance. Sorry. Speaker 1: Go ahead. Speaker 0: No. No. I probably best I don't. Speaker 3: Well, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's getting attention for using a teleprompter before answering a voter's question. Speaker 4: There's 60,000,000 Americans saying that they would vote for a union today. And I would like to know, what will your administration do to help give them that chance? Thank you. Speaker 0: Moving up here. You know, used to be a basic bargain in this country. Workers shared in the wealth their work helped create. Speaker 3: You know, you're used to seeing your political leaders be able to do the q and a off the cuff. Speaker 0: Look, one one one of the things that, that I think is really important is that, we somehow put that back on. There's somehow that we're in a situation where we we we work together. In addition to that in addition to that, we have to make sure that we we are in a position that we are well, let me let me go the second thing. Unlike the African American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things. In February, I found myself in a circumstance where I mean, excuse me, 02/2012. And I was waiting for a black man, Tom, to come and pick me up from Philadelphia, a guy named Barack Obama, on the January 17 to take me to Washington, a trip I've made a thousand times, communing every day, to be sworn in as president and vice president. So help me, God. So help me, God. Fact is that the bills that the president that excuse me. The future president here that that that the senator is talking about. I hear this large savings. The president think my friend from Vermont thinks that the employer is gonna give you back if you negotiate his union all these years. He's gotta cut in wages. I took on Putin in terms of Iraq. I mean, excuse me, in terms of what was going on in Ukraine. I've taken on these leaders around the world. I'm the guy that's gone in and met I've taken on all these leads. I I mean, I'm US Troops died in Iran and Afghanistan. That's like just flat out acknowledging. We've been doing everything we can do to keep Biden from being the nominee. And guess what? We tried it in in Iraq. It's not working. So now we're gonna try I mean, in Iran. Excuse me. We tried in Ukraine. Because they invaded another country and and annexed a significant portion of it called Crimea. Right. He's saying that it was president, my boss, it was his fault. Look. We provide a Medicare option. That's exactly what WackRock and I talked about in the beginning. Get it through, though. No. We couldn't get it. But now I got assault weapons banned for ten years. It had to be reauthorized because of hanging Chads in Florida. The last president said, no. I'm not gonna reauthorize it. And folks, one the things I'm proudest of is getting past, getting moved, getting getting control of the Paris climate accord. I'm the guy that came back after meeting with Deng Xiaoping and making the case that I believe China would join if we put pressure on them. We got almost 200 nations to join. I watched what happened when the kids from Parkland marched up to and I I I I I met with them, and then they went off to up on the hill. I was vice president. They went off the hill. And then we had other programs that the court said, well, you can't you don't have executive authority to do that on our own. It was and we did that in 1976, and and we started in 02/2014. Go to 30330 and help me in this fight. Thank you very much. It would be a billion I mean, assuming it'd be a hundred and 54,000,000,000. 2 and a half million. Excuse me. 300,000. Like, 600 plus thousand people. There's 60. Every single will live. Thousand. Yeah. 60,000. 60. I've been I I missed it. It would put 720,000,000 back million women back in the workforce. Roughly 25% of their excuse me. They gave I think it was 54. Don't hold me. That's 54%. Over 500 miles a day. Excuse me. 250 miles a day. A hundred and fifty million people have been killed since 02/2007, more than all the wars, including Vietnam. Now we have over a hundred and twenty million dead from COVID. It's estimated that two hundred million people have died probably by the time I finish this talk. A $15,000,000 a $15,000 15 dollar minimum wage. 500,000. 50 thousand. Excuse me. 50,000. 3 o. 33 o. Or 30333 o. Or b o o. Wait. Wait. I mean, bill billions of 2 point I think it's $2,300,000,000 worth of excuse me. $500,000,000,000. Out of a trillion 600,000,000,000 worth. 4 a trillion 400,000,000,000 worth. Out of a billion 400,000,000 I should be a trillion $400,000,000,000. And by the way, it costs a lot of money. It costs about 740,000,000 billion dollars over ten years. And in order to avoid that those very high numbers, we have to do at least several things. One, we have to depend on what the president's going to do right now. And first of all, he has to tell wait till the cases before anything happens. Look. The whole idea is he's gotta get in place things that were shortages of. Speaker 5: 56% of Americans said that they were better off today than they were four years ago would have been under the Obama Biden administration. So why should people who feel that they are better off today under the Trump administration vote for you? Speaker 0: Well, if they think that, they probably shouldn't. Speaker 1: They Speaker 0: think 54% of American people are better off economically today than they were in our administration. Well, their memory is not very good, quite frankly. My name is Joe Biden. I'm a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other by President Trump took those words, those literal words. Donald Trump Donald Trump is reelected. I was feeling the pressure of an economy that's cheating on a recession. You're trying your best, but it never feels like enough. And so I, you know, I I I looked at it anyway. I that's what I think my plan I know what my plan does. We're gonna see the burden and the cost. We're gonna increase fifth we're gonna make sure not prevailing wage, we can't mandate that, you guys. By the way, I said inside. We should make sure that we have no one going to jail for a a a drug offense. They go directly mandatory prison. I mean, assuming mandatory treatment. We need to work again with Canada and Mexico as neighbors, not as adversaries. We have to make sure that every single child does in fact have three, four, and five year olds go to school. Together, we can work toward racial justice, economic injustice. We can revive paid sick leave for all workers so workers don't have to leave work to to get, to be fired in order, when they get sick, to be able to continue to live. The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward. We're not gonna build plants that in fact are great polluting plants. Are you gonna build the Green New Deal? Pardon me? You support No. I don't support the Green New Deal. And for folks in the working class that are below 400, they will, in fact, will increase their their premiums. Oh. Excuse me. Will increase the generosity of the premium tax credit they now get By investing a hundred billion dollars in education, in global warming efforts, it's a whole range of things. We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics. I think we can pull this together. I'm optimistic. I really genuinely are. Am. Good afternoon. Welcome to the nation's constitution center. I have the great privilege of being I guess, be in this outfit for a year. You know, we have to come together. That's why I'm running. I'm running as a proud Democrat for the Senate. Speaker 3: There are definitely moments where you listen to Joe Biden and you just wonder. Speaker 1: And look, he has been a skilled debater. We've seen him in the past. The question is, does he still have his stuff? Speaker 2: In terms of his speech and his memory, there's clearly undeniably been a lot of decline in recent years. Speaker 1: Oh, it's painful. Speaker 0: I know. Speaker 1: It's so painful. Speaker 6: Are you forgetting what you said two minutes ago? Are you forgetting already what you said just two minutes ago? Speaker 1: What is happening? Speaker 3: There's a lot of people who are concerned about, Joe Biden's ability to carry the ball all the way across the end line without fumbling. Speaker 6: You said two minutes ago that they had to buy in, and now you're saying they don't have to buy. You're forgetting that. Speaker 5: I think it's really, really weird that people backing him aren't acknowledging any of this. They're pretending that people bringing it up are being completely unfair. Speaker 1: How sharp is he? Does the Joe Biden tonight is this he the same Joe Biden who could respond with one word to a younger Speaker 6: question by the question. Speaker 1: You know? A younger Brian Wimmer. Speaker 0: We're raising the question. Who's I mean, this idea of, you know, slow Joe. I anyway, I I shouldn't laugh about it because anyway, I'm coming directly to you for ask a quick favor. Speaker 2: Fuck you, Matt. You're making my cock fall off. Speaker 0: Man, great job, Matt. He goes by the name Orf. Wonderful job. Who's calling Matt, though? Because I don't want butcher's dad. Speaker 2: Matt Orphelia. Speaker 1: Matt Orphalia. Speaker 0: Matt Orphalia. Subscribe to him. Matt Orph. Matt Orphala. Matt Orphala. Matt Orphala. Incredible. Speaker 2: I follow this guy on YouTube. You should too. His name is Matt Orphalia. Orph.

Biden officials now acknowledge the COVID lab leak theory, which was previously dismissed as a conspiracy. Experts and scientists have consistently debunked the idea that the virus originated from a lab in Wuhan, asserting it likely came from a wildlife market where bats were present. The scientific consensus is that the virus was not man-made or genetically modified. Claims suggesting otherwise have been labeled as misinformation, with many emphasizing the dangers of spreading such theories, which can lead to xenophobia and panic. Investigations into the lab leak theory have been deemed unnecessary by the WHO, as the origins of the virus are believed to be natural.

Speaker 0: Biden officials now believe COVID lab leak theory. Speaker 1: A lab leak or a mistake, that was never discarded. Ready, 10? Ready, Bill? Let's go back into history. Speaker 0: Fauci dismisses lab as source of virus. Ignore the conspiracy theories. Speaker 1: The conspiracy that coronavirus was man made in a lab in Wuhan, China. There is no reason to believe any of these conspiracy theories Speaker 2: that Speaker 1: it was leaked from the lab. Speaker 0: A theory that's almost certainly not true. Speaker 3: A conspiracy theory that the coronavirus originated inside a lab in China. Like it was a conspiracy of some kind. Speaker 0: Lab wasn't source of virus. You can draw a line through it and say that it didn't happen. We know it didn't. Speaker 1: The Wuhan lab conspiracy theory. Speaker 0: Debunk conspiracy theory. Speaker 4: The fringe theory that the virus came from a lab in Wuhan, China. Speaker 0: Scientists debunk lab theory. Speaker 4: The conspiracy theory about COVID coming from a lab in Wuhan. Speaker 2: Oh my god. The rain emerged came from Wuhanir. Speaker 3: A conspiracy theory. Speaker 0: Outright ridiculous conspiracy theory. Debunked bunkum. Scientists know. Experts have more than enough evidence to show. Pants on fire. Lab conspiracy theories debunked. Put it in the conspiracy theory bucket. Speaker 1: One of the biggest crises out there now is the the false information being circulated on social media about the virus. But the virus happened when our regular coronavirus married this other virus, made children, and then the rest is history. And I can tell you for sure it was not manufactured in a lab. Speaker 0: Vlad leap conspiracy theory. Speaker 1: The conspiracy theory to baumont xenophobia. Speaker 0: Very destructive conspiracy theory. Conspiracists pushing misinformation. Conspiracy theories. Speaker 4: It's a flurry of conspiracy theories. Speaker 0: Prejudice lab conspiracy theories. These conspiracy theories damage our real world. Speaker 1: We don't need to invoke conspiracy theories. That theory is bunk. The idea that this was escaped from the lab is pure baloney. Complete baloney. Speaker 4: Widely debunked. Conspiracy theories run rampant. Speaker 2: Conspiracy theories that it somehow escaped the lab that was in Wuhan. I think that's unlikely. Speaker 0: Scientists rule out the idea. Speaker 1: Scientists condemning conspiracy theories. Speaker 0: This conspiracy theory that the coronavirus originated in a lab. Speaker 3: Conspiracy theories on the origins of the virus in the Wuhan lab, which, of course, are unfounded. Speaker 1: A conspiracy theory that the coronavirus came from a lab. It's another false claim. Speaker 3: With the Wuhan China lab at the center of conspiracy theory Speaker 0: At the center of conspiracy theory. The target of conspiracy theories. The focus of conspiracy. Speaker 5: The lab in Wuhan, China that's been an object of conspiracy theory at Speaker 1: the center of conspiracy theory Speaker 0: conspiracy theories. Speaker 5: The Wuhan lab responding to conspiracy theories. Speaker 4: There's no way that it could be leaked Speaker 0: from the lab. So you're 100% confident there was no leak, no accident. Speaker 2: I'm confident there's no leak. 100%. 100%. Speaker 4: Oh, that's good enough for me. Speaker 0: Scientists worldwide agree that the virus occurred naturally. Speaker 6: And, most likely scenario is is, it occurred from, you know, bats in in the in the marketplace. Speaker 0: Bats were not sold at woven wet markets. Speaker 2: I don't think it's a vast international conspiracy. I think the bats got too close in the web market. Speaker 1: As soon as I heard there was a new pneumonia, I said, well, a new pneumonia, Wuhan, wet market. It was, from bat to human in a, illegal wildlife market. Came from bats. Speaker 4: Most likely came from bats. Yes. Speaker 1: And came from bats in in this wildlife market? Speaker 4: Yes. Speaker 1: She is very convinced about 90% sure. Speaker 4: Coronavirus most likely spread from a market in China, not from a lab in Wuhan. Speaker 2: The growing consensus is that this virus came from a market in Wuhan, not from the lab. Speaker 1: It's probably from a wet markets in China. Most likely in a wildlife wet market. Speaker 0: It was most likely a wet market in Wuhan where coronavirus originated. Speaker 1: The source of this virus is the Chinese wet markets. Likely, probably wet markets. In the market. The Speaker 4: wet market. Experts say the virus originated in this wet market. The market which, is most likely the origin of the virus. The wet market seems like the most likely source. Speaker 1: Scientific consensus is that this came from a wet market. It began in a wet market. From From a wet market. Most scientists believe China's wet market should be the focus. Wet markets that bring in animals that are next to bats in caves in wherever. Who knows? Speaker 2: One of the early more plausible theories theories was that the wildlife wet market in Wuhan was where the virus first made its species jump from an animal to human. Speaker 0: But none of the animals at the market tested positive for the virus. Speaker 7: Several of the original cases did not have any contact with that food market. The virus went into that food market before it came out of that food market. Speaker 4: Concerning comments from senator Tom Cotton. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton was playing a dangerous game with his coronavirus speculation. Speaker 7: Just a few miles away from that food market is China's only biosafety level 4 super laboratory that researches human infectious diseases. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton was being a deadly bubble throated slapstick nutcase just like the Soviet propagandists who tried to convince the world that the CIA invented AIDS. Speaker 7: We know that they were conducting very dangerous research into coronaviruses. Speaker 0: Conspiracy theorist Tom Cotton flogs conspiracy theory. Speaker 7: We don't know where it originated, but we do know that we have to get to the bottom of that. Speaker 3: A coronavirus conspiracy theory that was already debunked. Speaker 0: A thoroughly debunked theory. Speaker 7: We don't know, again, where this virus originated. Speaker 0: He's spreading conspiracy theories. Speaker 7: It's so important that we at least ask the questions and get the evidence. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton, the rational conspiracy monger. Speaker 7: China continues to block our ability to ask those questions and get that evidence. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton, conspiracy theories. Speaker 7: We need to at least ask the question. Speaker 0: Conspiracy theories pushed by Tom Cotton. Speaker 7: China right now is not giving any evidence on that question. Speaker 1: It's very harmful to stir up suspicion. It's very dangerous. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton is one of the most dangerous and irresponsible people. Speaker 1: This will create racial discrimination, xenophobia, to create panic. Speaker 7: We don't wanna have a public panic. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton is a fear mongering conspiracy pusher. Speaker 7: We'd want to air on the side of caution. Speaker 0: Tom Cotton spreading debunked rumors. Speaker 3: So much is unknown. Cotton has been criticized for giving just the whiff of credibility to a conspiracy theory Speaker 0: French theory. Speaker 3: Conspiracy theory. Speaker 5: French theory that the coronavirus is man made. Speaker 8: Brian, what's the best way to sift through all these myths out there on social media and avoid the misinformation? Speaker 9: Well, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg teamed up with Fauci to decide what information counts as disinformation. Facebook then censored the lab leak theory. Speaker 2: Both scientists and the US intelligence community agree that this coronavirus was not man made. Speaker 1: The virus was not not not man made. Speaker 2: That is not a possibility. It didn't come from a lab. Speaker 1: This was not made by men. It was too clunky weird. Speaker 2: The virus was not man made. It's not man made. Speaker 1: Again, scientists are convinced that this is not man made. It was not man made. COVID 19 was not Speaker 0: man made. Speaker 1: This virus definitely wasn't man made. US intelligence said that COVID 19 is not man made. Speaker 0: The WHO says the virus could not be man made. Speaker 1: It's not man made. Doctor Anthony Fauci is shooting down theories that the coronavirus was man made. Speaker 4: The conspiracy theory suggesting the coronavirus was man made. Speaker 1: It is very, very strongly leaning towards this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated. Speaker 7: Was not man made or genetically modified. Speaker 1: Not man made or genetically modified. Speaker 3: Not man made or genetically modified. Speaker 1: Wide scientific consensus that the COVID 19 virus was not man made or genetically modified. It was not man made or genetically modified. Speaker 4: The intelligence community this morning saying that they did not believe the coronavirus was man made or genetically modified. Speaker 1: That it is not man made or genetically modified. Speaker 4: Consensus that COVID 19 virus was not manmade or genetically modified. COVID 19 was not manmade Speaker 1: or genetically modified. Speaker 9: Not manmade or genetically modified. The virus was Speaker 1: not manmade or genetically modified. Very strongly supported by scientific evidence that it was not deliberately media mutated and deliberately changed. Speaker 10: But we now know from emails unredacted that doctor Fauci was warned early on by top scientists that the virus likely came from a lab leak and looked genetically manipulated. Speaker 1: No way. No way, Ted. The foreign ministry in China said those were conspiracy theories. Speaker 4: The WHO team ruled out a lab accident or leak as a possible driver for the pandemic. Speaker 1: They're saying don't waste any more time and effort on that. It's simply not true. Extremely unlikely. Conspiracy theories. Conspiracies have no grounds. Speaker 4: Researchers proposed further investigation into every area except the lab leak report. The WHO team says that it will no longer pursue research into the lab leak theory. So that's over. Speaker 11: There was a premature push to, you know, reduce one of the, options like the lab theory. I was a lab technician myself, and I have worked in the lab. And lab accidents happen. It's common. I have seen it happening and I had I myself had errors. So it can it can happen And we need information, direct information on what the situation of these labs was before and at the start of the pandemic.

I confronted J6 Committee's lead investigator, Tim Heaphy, about the claim that the January 6 violence was worse than the BLM riots, especially since no one was killed during J6. He avoided my questions regarding misinformation from the Washington Post and insisted that Officer Sicknick's death was linked to January 6, despite previous debunking. He falsely stated that the medical examiner found evidence of injuries related to chemical exposure, but the examiner actually reported no evidence of injuries from that day.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

I asked J6 Committee's lead investigator, Tim Heaphy, How was the J6 violence worse than the BLM riots if the J6 rioters didn't kill anyone? Are you concerned with misinfo from WaPo, which falsely reported that they had? He dodges & lies that Officer Sicknick died from J6 🧵

Video Transcript AI Summary
How can you say there's no equivalence between the BLM protests and the January 6th riots? Many were killed during the BLM protests, while no one was killed by protesters on January 6th. Also, are you concerned about misinformation from The Washington Post, which initially gave the false impression that a protester was killed on January 6th? I trust credible sources like The Washington Post. There were deaths related to the Capitol defense, which is not misinformation. The BLM protests were serious and warranted accountability, but the dynamics of an attack on the government are fundamentally different. Officer Sicknick's death was linked to the stress of the riot and preexisting conditions, as determined by the medical examiner. Thank you for your questions.

Speaker 0: Alright. We think Speaker 1: we have time for one more question. Coming in from the back. Speaker 0: How you doing? So I just wanna follow-up on something you said earlier. You said there's no equivalence between the BLM protests and the January 6th, riots. So, my question is, like, how can you say, you know, aside from all the property damage in the burned homes, how do you see the violence is worse, at the capitol compared to BLM protests, when many people were killed in the BLM slash antifa protests, but nobody but the protesters didn't kill anybody on January 6th. And just one short follow-up question, if I may. You mentioned in the book that, the issue with misinformation on social media, which everyone would agree is an issue. Are you concerned about misinformation from, you know, sources like the local paper of note, The Washington Post, which did give everyone the false impression that the protesters had murdered, had killed somebody, on January 6th. He died the following day of natural causes. The Post did did make that correction many months later, but most people didn't get that update. Anyway, thank you. Speaker 1: Yeah. Thank you for the question. Speaker 2: I'm not concerned about misinformation from The Washington Post. I generally trust The Washington Post and other credible sources of information. There were people who died as a direct result of their involvement in protecting the capital. So that's not misinformation. And I don't mean to suggest on the BLM protest in the summer of 2020 that they weren't serious, that they weren't worthy of a strong response, that people shouldn't have been held accountable. They absolutely were. My point is that they were just sort of fundamentally different than an attack on the seat of government. They're they're just a fundamentally different dynamic. Seriously, how do you Speaker 1: think that one is worse, violence, violence, and they didn't get to this way? And I'm curious who like, you say you trust everything in The Washington Post, and then you also say Sydney, officer Sydney was, Speaker 0: killed associates to something Speaker 1: that happened during the riot. Speaker 0: But the post itself followed up much later and said he died of natural causes. Speaker 2: No. Brian, the the medical examiner found that officer Sicknick died as a result of exposure to the chemical agents and and the the stress of defending the capital exacerbating a preexisting condition. That's a a legal conclusion that I trust, that The Washington Post didn't make up. Speaker 0: Okay. The Washington Post didn't say another. No. Speaker 3: Okay. I think our time for questions is done. Thank you so much. Speaker 1: Okay. Alright. Thank you. Thank you. Hey. I really appreciate you coming out and

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Although the microphone was taken from me, I asked about the contradiction between Heaphy’s trust in the Washington Post and his claim that Sicknick’s death was a result of Jan. 6—which was effectively debunked in the Post 4 years ago. /2

Video Transcript AI Summary
You trust the Washington Post, yet you describe the situation as sickening regarding the officer's death during the riot. The Post later clarified he died of natural causes. However, the medical examiner concluded that Officer Signick's death resulted from exposure to chemical agents and the stress of defending the Capitol, which worsened a preexisting condition. This is a legal conclusion that I trust, not something fabricated by The Washington Post. I’m not disputing that the Post presented another perspective. It seems our time for questions is over. Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your presence here.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Heaphy just lied and said, “The medical examiner found that Officer Sicknick died as a result of exposure to the chemical agents...” The medical examiner "found no evidence" of that. /3

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

I gave Heaphy one more chance to save himself. But he repeated the false claim that the medical examiner found that Sicknick suffered "injuries" on J6. Again, the medical examiner found "no evidence" that Sicknick suffered any "injuries"—"internal or external" on J6. /4

The post indicated natural causes, but the medical examiner determined that Cygni's injuries were related to his service. The autopsy was conducted by the DC medical examiner. I believe it was the DC. Yeah. Speaker 0: And and as far as you said you're not concerned about misinformation with The Washington Post, what about Not on this topic. No. Okay. The American Psychological Association's new children's book on misinformation is criticized for misinforming kids about various topics, including COVID-19, racism, and conspiracy theories. It suggests that experts never lied during the pandemic and discourages critical questioning, labeling it as a source of misinformation. The book presents corporate media as trustworthy and overlooks the complexities of racism and gender differences. It also dismisses legitimate concerns about government and conspiracy theories, while failing to acknowledge the APA's past collaboration with the CIA.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

NEW: The American Psychological Association (APA) is mis/disinforming kids with its new kid's book, on mis/disinformation. 🧵/1 True or False? The Science of Perception, Misinformation, and Disinformation

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

The APA engaged in a real-life conspiracy with the CIA to bolster Bush-era torture. Now its new children's book seeks to “prebunk” young readers from investigating conspiracy theories. It also misinforms kids on other topics including racism, gender, and the COVID-19 pandemic. /2

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #1 COVID Doctors Never Lied "During the COVID-19 pandemic," the book says, there was "seemingly conflicting information from scientists". "Seemingly"? Ha! The messaging was completely contradictory. Trusted experts lied about masks, vaccines, & the virus's origin.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Instead of teaching kids to exercise critical thinking, when it comes to COVID-19, the book tells kids the experts did nothing wrong. "[T]his was just how science works"! The book then blames the spreading of false information and death on "friends and family". /4

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #2 Don’t Ask Questions Asking questions is a crucial step in the scientific process. But the book teaches kids to "beware" of questions. "[D]isinformation can be spread just by asking a question…Especially if the person asking...can't even answer their own question!" /5

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

The book's example of such "disinformation" is a girl humbly asking a logical question: "I'm not a scientist but why would we have all this snow if global warming was real?" The book draws another kid reacting to the girl as if it's crazy to ask basic questions, "WHAT?!" /6

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #3 Corporate Media is Good & Trusted! Media gatekeepers are good and “trusted”! See the friendly gatekeeper man? Only true information passes through the media gatekeeper gates! 😃 No mention that “newspapers and trusted news shows” can also spread disinformation. /7

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #4 Only White People Can Be Racist! The book only says "minority groups" and "people of color" can be victims of racism, omitting the obvious fact that white people can be negatively stereotyped and victims of racism too. /8

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #5 "Some people say" = Research🤦‍♀️ Underneath the headline, “CHECK OUT THE RESEARCH”, the book shares no research but says Black lives are at risk in American workplaces because: "Some Black people say...code-switching is necessary...simply to survive and keep safe..." /9

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #6 Boys & Girls Aren't Different The APA book's ex. of logical fallacy misleadingly suggests there's no athletic difference between boys and girls. When asking kids why boys might play more team sports than girls, the book only mentions cultural reasons, not biology, which according to science (published by APA) also plays a strong factor. /10

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #7 Russia Russia Russia! The “science” book also touches on foreign and domestic politics. Russia is the only country mentioned to spread disinformation, which gives kids the false impression that Russia's the only country that spreads disinformation. /11

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton is painted only as a victim of disinformation, never a purveyor of it herself. In reality, HC spread disinformation about Trump/Russia collusion, falsely accusing her political opponent of both treason and "stealing" an election in '16. /12

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #8 Only Wackos Criticize Government The book directs kids to a government-funded online "disinformation" game: Bad News. Its creator Tilt Studio works with the US State Department, NATO, the EU, and the UK government. /13

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

According to the Bad News game, the first step to becoming a "disinformation and fake news tycoon" is making a public complaint about the government, such as, "This government is a complete and utter failure. #Resign! Losers!" /14

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Lesson #9 Conspiracies Aren't Real! APA’s book also directs kids to a YouTube page whose 2nd most viewed video smears "conspiracy theorists" for believing COVID-19 originated in a lab—a belief now supported by "the experts" and overwhelming evidence. /15

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

APA’s book dedicates five pages to villainizing “conspiracy theories” and suggests that merely ***learning*** about conspiracy theories "makes people think...that truth doesn't matter". /16

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Of course, conspiracies do occur. For example, after many denials, APA later apologized for secretly collaborating with the CIA on torture. Maybe if this 🧵 is shared enough, APA will one day have to address all the misinformation it's spreading into the minds of children. /17

Speaker 0: This version of Biden intellectually, analytically is the best Biden ever. He is sharp, intensely probing, and detail oriented and focused. Speaker 1: For example, we have a 1,000,000,000,000,000 dollars in America. Speaker 0: This is a man who is sharp, who is on top of his game, who knows what's going on. He's smart. He's on his game. His mental acuity is great. Speaker 2: This is a very sharp president. Speaker 0: And the people that I've talked to say he's he's as sharp as a tack. He he's fine. They say he's sharp. Speaker 1: There's there's not a problem. Speaker 0: He was sharp. He was sharper than anyone I've spoken to. Speaker 2: The president, is sharp, and he is tireless. He is sharp. Speaker 0: As sharp as ever. And, he's he's he's fine. All this right wing propaganda that his mental acuity has declined is wrong. Speaker 2: His brain is good. He's still great. Speaker 0: He has sharpened meetings. I believe the people who say that behind closed doors, Joe Biden remains sharp. In meetings, Joe Biden is is sharp. He's sharp. He's fit. There is nothing to these challenges, these suggestions that somehow he's not sharp. He's sharp as a tech. Speaker 1: Making sure that we're able to make every single solitary person, eligible for what I've been able to do with with the, with with the COVID excuse me, with, dealing with everything we have to do with. Look, if we finally beat Medicare. Speaker 0: Thank you, president Biden. President Trump? Was right. He did beat Medicare. He beat it to death. Actually, Joe Biden is sharper and has more mental acuity than Donald Trump. Because more people believe that actually Joe Biden's middle acuity is better than Donald Trump. Speaker 2: I mean, he's sharp. He's funny, sharp as attack. Kamala Harris says he is up to this task. He's, you know, sharp as attack. He's smart. He's energetic. 1 of the themes this election cycle is that Joe Biden is too old to lead, and so everyone is seizing upon this. And it is a classic disinformation tactic. If you edit it in such a way, you can make it appear that he fits this narrative, that he is slow, that he is, wandering off. Speaker 1: Kareem, I got my handicap, which when I was vice president down to a 6. Speaker 0: And but by the way, I told you before I'm happy Speaker 1: to play golf if you carry your own bag. Think you can do it? Speaker 0: That's the biggest lad. He's the 6 handicap of all. Speaker 1: I was the 8 handicap. Speaker 0: Never. President Biden has proven himself to have a strong memory. Speaker 2: He has great memory. Speaker 0: His mind is just as quick as that. He is sharpened. Joe Biden is sharp enough on top of it. President Biden is sharp. He's focused. He's bright. The president is sharp as attack. Sharp, sharp as attack. Speaker 2: President Biden's doctors say he is in good physical and cognitive health. Joe Biden, sharp as attack. Speaker 0: The president was sharp as attack. The president's very sharp, because he is so sharp, and he's on top of everything. Speaker 2: He seems right on top of it. The man is competent, alert Speaker 0: and fully cognizant and and sharp. He's completely mentally sharp. He's sharp. He's engaged. He is sharp. He is engaged, and he is commanding. Speaker 2: That's pretty sharp. Mentally sharp. Biden was sharp. Sharp and substantive. He is very sharp. Speaker 0: And then he's as sharp as a tack. Biden is sharp. And the president is sharp and as able as ever. Speaker 2: He's a man that's on view stage. He was focused. His recall was good. He was actually quite sharp and on top of it. Speaker 0: He is on the ball. Speaker 2: And you're gonna see how smart Speaker 0: he is. Speaker 2: And Speaker 0: This guy's as sharp as a knight. Tonight, he may have to channel both the president in him and the bruising brawling candidate in him and maybe a little bit of Eminem in his famous 8 mile rap battle. Speaker 1: I come from Scranton, Pennsylvania, and it's impossible for the kitchen table. Things weren't able to be met during the month was a a problem. Speaker 2: You see him interact. You see him engage. He took some questions and is sharp with his answers. Speaker 1: What I did when, for example, he wants to get away with get rid of the ability of Medicare to for the ability to for the Speaker 0: He's actually perfectly sharp. He's totally focused. He's very sharp, and the the punches in the performance. Speaker 1: I made sure every company in the world, every pharmaceutical company cannot have to pay. Thank you. And by the way, Speaker 0: so every day, millions of Americans I'm telling you, this guy's tough. He's smart. He's on his game. Speaker 1: And and there's no question Speaker 2: impairment. I see his vigor. I see his energy. I say his age is an asset. Uh-huh. He's wise. Yes. He's wise. He has wisdom. He's at the top of his game. Speaker 0: I think he's better than he's ever been. Sharp as a tech. Speaker 2: As I said, very sharp, incredibly engaged. Strong, steady. He's always on ball. Speaker 0: Not only is he fit to do the top, he's doing a hell of a damn job. I saw him show Speaker 2: His strength is unshakable. Joe Biden is extraordinarily strong. The White House said Biden is sharp, and his critics are playing partisan politics. Speaker 0: That's the definition of disinformation. Speaker 2: Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the Speaker 1: President Biden is absolutely fit. Speaker 0: There's no doubt in my mind that the president is mentally fit for office. Speaker 1: I'm coming directly to you for asking a quick favor. Speaker 0: Let's move it up here. You know, there used to be a basic bargain in this country. Workers shared in the wealth their work helped create. You know, you're used to seeing your political leaders be able to do the q and a off the cuff. Look. One one one of the things that, that I think is really important is that, we somehow put that back on. There's somehow that we're in a situation where we, we we work together. In addition to that, in addition to that, we have to, make sure that we, we are in a position that we are well, let me let me go to the second thing. Unlike the African American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different a circumstance where, I mean, excuse me, 2,012, I found myself in a circumstance where, excuse me, 2012. And I was waiting for a black man, Tom, to come and pick me up from Philadelphia, a guy named Barack Obama on 17th January to take me to Washington, a trip I've made a thousand times commuting every day to be sworn in as president and vice president. So help me god. So help me god. Fact is that the bills that the president that excuse me, the future president here that that that the senator is talking about. I hear this large savings. The president think my friend, Vermont, thinks that the employer's gonna give you back if you negotiate his union all these years. Gotta cut in wages. I took on, Putin in terms of, Iraq. I mean, excuse me. In terms of, what was going on in Ukraine. Mhmm. I've taken on these leaders around the world. I'm the guy that's gone in and met I've taken on all these lead I I mean, I'm US troops died in Iran and Afghanistan. That's like just flat out acknowledging. We've been doing everything we can do to keep Biden from being the nominee. And guess what? We tried it in in Iraq. It's not working. So now we're gonna try I mean, in Iran excuse me. We tried in Ukraine because they invaded another country and and significant portion of it called Crimea. Right. He's saying that it was president my boss it's his fault. Look. We provide a Medicare option. That's exactly what Wabrock and I talked about in the beginning. Get it through, though. No. We couldn't get it. But now I got assault weapons banned for 10 years. It had to be reauthorized because of hanging chads in Florida. The last president said, no. I'm not gonna reauthorize it. And, folks, one of the things I'm proudest of is getting passed, getting moved, getting control of the Paris Climate Accord. I'm the guy that came back after meeting with Deng Xiaoping and making the case that I believe China would join if we put pressure on them. We got almost 200 nations to join. I watched what happened when the kids from Parkland marched up to and I I I I I met with them, and then they went off to up on the hill. I was vice president, and they went off the hill. And then we had other programs that the court said, you can't you don't have executive authority to do that on our own. Speaker 7: We do this. And we did that in 1970 6, and, we we started in 2,000. Back in 2,000 and, 14. Speaker 0: Go to Joe 30 330 and help me in this fight. Thank you very much. It would be a 1,000,000,000 I mean, assuming it'd be a 154,000,000,000 2 and a half 1000000. Excuse me. 300,000. Like, 600 +1000 people. There's 60 everyone will risk. 60,000. Yeah. 60,000. 60. I've I've I've been I missed it. They would put 720,000,000 back 1,000,000 women back in the workforce. Roughly 25% of their, excuse me, they, gave, I think it was 54, no home at 54 percent. Over 500 miles a day. Excuse me. 250,000,000 people have been killed since 2,007, more than all the wars, including Vietnam. Now we have over a 120,000,000 dead from COVID. It's estimated that 200,000,000 people have died probably by the time I finish this talk. A $15,000,000 men a $15,000, yeah, $15 minimum wage. 500,000. 50 it's gonna be 50,000. 30. 330 or 303-330. Or 3 0 0. Wait. I mean, bill 1,000,000,000 of, 2 point I think it's $2,300,000,000 worth of, excuse me, $500,000,000,000 out of a 1,600,000,000,000 worth. 4 a a 1,000,000,000,000 worth. Out of a 1,000,000,000 400,000,000, I assume a $1,400,000,000,000. And by the way, it costs a lot of money. It costs about $740,000,000,000,000 over 10 years. And in order to avoid that those very high numbers, we have to do at least several things. 1, we have to, depend on what the president's gonna do right now. And first of all, he has to, tell, wait till the cases before anything happens. Look. The whole idea is he's gotta get in place things that were shortages of. Speaker 8: 56% of Americans said that they were better off today than they were 4 years ago would have been under the Obama Biden administration. So why should people who feel that they are better off today under the Trump administration vote for you? Speaker 0: Well, if they think that, they probably shouldn't. They think 54% of American people are better off economically today than they were in our administration. Well, their memory is not very good, quite frankly. My name's Joe Biden. I'm a democratic candidate for the United States senate. Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, both the other by President Trump took those words, those literal words, Donald hump Donald Trump is reelected. I was feeling the pressure of an economy that's teetering on a recession. You're trying your best, but it never feels like enough. And so I, you know, I I I looked at it. Anyway, I that's what I think my plan I know what my plan does. We're gonna see the burden and the cost. We're gonna increase 5th we're gonna make sure not prevailing wage. We can't mandate that. You guys by the way, I said inside, We should make sure that we have any no one going to jail for a a a drug offense. They go directly mandatory prison. I mean, assuming mandatory treatment. We need to work again with Canada and Mexico as neighbors, not as adversaries. We have to make sure that every single child does in fact have 3, 4, 5 year olds go to school. Together, we can work toward racial justice, economic injustice. We can provide paid sick leave for all workers so workers don't have to leave work to, to get, to be fired in order, when they get sick to be able to continue to live. The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward. You're not gonna build plants that in fact are great polluting plants. Are you gonna build the Green New Deal? Pardon me? You support No. I don't support the green new deal. And for folks in the working class that are below 400, they will, in fact, will increase their their premiums. Oh. Excuse me. They'll increase the generosity of the premium tax credit they now get. By investing a $100,000,000,000 in education, in global warming efforts. It's a whole range of things. We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics. I think we can pull this together. I'm optimistic. I really genuinely are. Am. Good afternoon. Welcome to the Nation's Constitution Center. I have the great privilege of being You know, we have to come together. That's why I'm running. I'm running as a proud Democrat for the senate. Speaker 3: There are definitely moments where you listen to Joe Biden and you just wonder. Speaker 2: And, look, he has been a skilled debater. We've seen him in the past. The question is, does he still have his stuff? Speaker 0: In terms of his speech and his memory, there's clearly undeniably been a lot of decline in recent years. Speaker 2: Oh, it's painful. Speaker 0: It's so painful. Speaker 9: Are you forgetting what you said automatically made for? Are you forgetting already what you said just 2 minutes ago? Speaker 1: What is happening? Speaker 3: There's a lot of people who are concerned about, Joe Biden's ability to carry the ball all the way across the end line without fumbling. Speaker 9: You said 2 minutes ago that they had to buy in, and now you're saying they don't have to buy you're forgetting that. Speaker 8: I think it's really, really weird that people backing him aren't acknowledging any of this. That they're pretending that people bringing it up are being completely unfair. Speaker 2: How sharp is he? Does the Joe Biden tonight is this is he the same Joe Biden who could respond with one word Speaker 0: to a You know, you're raising question by the question. Speaker 2: You know? A younger Brian Lewin. Raising the And just saying Speaker 0: Who's I mean, this idea of, you know, slow Joe. I anyway, I I shouldn't laugh about it because, anyway, I'm coming directly to you for ask a quick favor. Fuck you, Matt. You're making my cocks fall off. Speaker 3: Man, great job, Matt. Snopes, a fact-checking website, has faced criticism for pushing the disinformation that COVID-19 could not have originated from a lab. Snopes' editor, David Emery, claimed that they did not say the lab leak theory couldn't be true, but evidence suggests otherwise. Snopes repeatedly dismissed the lab leak theory in various fact-checks, calling it misinformation and baseless conspiracy theories. Only after the Biden administration acknowledged the possibility of a lab leak did Snopes finally acknowledge it as a potential origin. This raises questions about Snopes' credibility and their role in checking facts versus promoting narratives.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

The Dumbest Snopes "Fact-Check" Of All Time? At least 5 Snopes “fact-checkers”, including its founder, pushed the disinfo that COVID-19 could not have originated from a lab. 🧵 /1

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Astonishingly, Snopes' David Emery tried to claim in a thread w comedian Adam Carolla that, “Snopes didn’t say the lab leak theory couldn’t be true.” /2

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

You may know Emery as the Snopes editor who got hammered last week for a now admittedly false “fact-check” that claimed President Biden did not embarrassingly wear a construction helmet incorrectly, despite Snopes’ own photographic and expert sources telling him otherwise. /3

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

In a response to comedian Adam Carolla's sarcastic post about self-proclaimed “fact-checkers” like Snopes, Emery appears completely removed from reality, when he challenged Carolla and his followers to, “Name the fact-checkers who said COVID could not have come from a lab”. /4

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Before the Biden admin acknowledged the possibility of a lab origin in '21, all the “fact-checkers”, including AP, CNN, USA Today, NYT, NPR, BBC, WaPo, & the WHO dismissed a lab origin, typically as a “false” “debunked” “conspiracy theory”. /5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl-X-Lgrlf0

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

How many head injuries did Emery endure to miss all this? Adding insult to injury, the Snopes fact-check editor delusionally proclaims that, “Snopes didn’t say the lab leak theory couldn’t be true.” /6

@debunker - david emery

@Teea533 @adamcarolla Snopes didn't say the lab leak theory couldn't be true.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Not only did Snopes say the lab leak theory couldn’t be true, but Snopes did so repeatedly in at least 9 separate “fact-checks” by four other Snopes “fact-checkers”, including the founder of Snopes! And at least one of the “fact-checks” was shared by Emery himself on Twitter. /7

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

The April 2020 Snopes “fact-check” by Dan Evon called the lab leak theory “misinformation” that was “already debunked”. /8

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Evon dismissed the lab theory in several other “fact-checks”, calling the mere possibility “illogical”, “evidence-free”, and “nothing more than baseless conspiracy theories,” ruling that the idea that the virus was “developed” or “manufactured” in any way was totally “False”. /9

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

In another Snopes “fact-check”, Snopes “investigative journalist” and “senior writer” from Johns Hopkins, Alex Kasprak, also claimed it was a known fact that the virus had evolved from “natural selection, not bioengineering.” /10

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Later in April 2020, the founder of Snopes himself, David Mikkelson, wrote two Snopes “fact checks” of his own, further claiming that a lab origin was an “unfounded” and “false notion”, concluding again that “SARS-CoV-2 virus evolved or mutated and was not bioengineered”. /11

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

In September 2020, Snopes contributor Madison Dapcevich reported that claims of a lab origin were, “false” and “nearly impossible”, further dismissing a lab origin as a wild “conspiracy theory” four separate times. /12

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

The “rigorous scientific research” Dapcevich cited as “proving” COVID-19 came from nature was the widely cited and fraudulent “Proximal Origin” paper. https://x.com/0rf/status/1684029019912544256?s=20 /13

#COVID Cover-Up Explained in 1 Minute

Video Transcript AI Summary
Dr. Fauci was asked about concerns that the virus was man-made. Some virologists believe that the virus does not look natural and may have escaped from a lab. However, Dr. Fauci believes it is more likely that the virus originated in nature. He acknowledges that discussing a lab leak would be detrimental to science's reputation. He emphasizes that COVID-19's origin is consistent with the scientific process, where the virus jumped from an animal to a human.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Doctor Fauci, could you address concerns that this virus was man made? There was a study The Proximal Origin study. A group of highly qualified evolutionary virologists looked at the sequences there and They are concerned the virus does not look natural. It is in fact study. Highly likely this escaped from a lab. I literally can't think of any possible way this could have come from nature. I just found a freaking how to manual for Building COVID 19 in a laboratory. Fuck. This is bad. It's not some fringe theory, man. Looks exactly like a virus engineered in Study. So freaking likely this came from a lab. Oh my god. This is a fucking nightmare. I'm quite convinced this was artificially created in a lab. But Given the shit show we're gonna have to deal with if we say it came from a lab, let's just say it came from nature. Yeah. I mean, talking about a lab leak would be really bad for business. I mean I mean science. Yeah. I mean, talking about a lab leak would really harm, sciences reputation, and science is like how we all get paid. Would you find men of science be interested in doing a study? COVID 19 originated through nature. Totally consistent to the jump of study. From an animal to a human. So That's what's called the scientific process.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

So when it comes to the most impactful stories, ultimately Snopes doesn’t check facts, they check narratives, and as the official narrative shifts so do their “facts”. This isn’t fact-checking, this is government stenography. https://x.com/thackerpd/status/1753597952365346983?s=20 /14

@thackerpd - Paul D. Thacker

Fact checkers check narratives, not facts.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

By June '21, after the Biden administration said it'd formally investigate the possibility of a lab leak, Snopes finally acknowledged the pandemic could have been the result of a man-made virus that escaped from a Wuhan lab, contradicting their past year’s reporting. /15

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

In other words, only after the government gave the public permission to ask questions did Snopes suddenly allow itself to acknowledge uncertainty and be skeptical like a real fact-checker should. /16

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

It’s been over three years after Snopes itself acknowledged a lab leak origin is possible, and yet Snopes has still not corrected or updated their own “fact-checks” claiming that it isn’t. /17

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

Snopes repeatedly failed to exercise basic skepticism reporting on perhaps the most impactful story of our lifetimes, failed to correct the error, and now pretends like they were never wrong to begin with. /18

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

And yet NewsGuard gives Snopes “a perfect 100/100 credibility rating” with the “highest of editorial standards”, revealing just how uncredible the entire fact-checking industry is. /19

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

All of the authors who spread COVID-19-origin disinfo are still at Snopes, except for 1... /20

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

After producing work for Snopes that shows he can’t be trusted, Dan Evon is now managing the News Literacy Project to “teach students & the public how to know what to believe in the digital age.” /21

President Putin sent a draft treaty to NATO, asking them to promise no more enlargement in exchange for not invading Ukraine. However, NATO did not sign it, leading to the war. Despite this, multiple speakers emphasize that the conflict is not about NATO expansion. They argue that it is about protecting democracy in Ukraine, as the country has been accused of banning religious organizations, political parties, and restricting books and music. While some compare Putin to Hitler, others believe that the war could have been avoided if the West had not challenged Russian interests so directly. Overall, the speakers stress that the conflict is not about NATO, but about Putin's desire to expand his influence.

Speaker 0: President Putin actually sent a a draft treaty that he wanted NATO to sign to promise no more NATO enlargement. That was what what he sent us, and that was that that was a precondition for not invade Ukraine. Of course, we didn't sign that. So he went to war to prevent NATO, more NATO across his borders. Flashback. This is fundamentally not about NATO expansion Speaker 1: It was never about NATO enlargement. It's not about NATO. Speaker 2: It's not about NATO expanding toward Russia. Speaker 1: This was never about NATO? Speaker 2: It's absolutely nothing to do with NATO expansionism. Speaker 1: And it has nothing to do with NATO. Speaker 2: This is not about NATO. Speaker 1: It's not about NATO. It's not really about NATO. This is not about NATO. Seriously, it's not about NATO. Speaker 2: This was never about NATO. Speaker 1: It was never about NATO. Let's be honest. This doesn't have anything to do Speaker 2: with NATO? Speaker 1: Nothing to do with NATO at all. Speaker 2: Yeah. He's claiming it's like security purposes, Speaker 1: but we can see the clear reason. Speaker 2: But NATO is not the reason. This is not about NATO expansion. This is about Speaker 1: to democratic expansion. Ukraine bans religious organizations. Speaker 2: We are protecting democracy right now. Speaker 1: Ukraine is banning political parties. Because it's a democracy. Ukraine restricts Speaker 2: books and music. It's about democracy. Ukraine won't hold It's about democracy. It's not about NATO expansion. In fact, it has nothing to do with NATO. Speaker 2: It's not about NATO encroaching. Speaker 1: Not about NATO. NATO is just Speaker 2: as a Fixious imaginary adversary for for for mister Putin and for Russia. Speaker 1: It was never about NATO. That's not what it's been about. It's been about him trying to expand his sphere of influence. Speaker 3: Hang on. I mean, the 2 are not mutually exclusive. Obviously, Russia has wished for a sphere of influence over Ukraine. But if the west had not challenged Russian interests so directly. I think that there there was a chance to avoid this war. Speaker 0: He wanted us to sign a promise never to enlarge NATO. We rejected that. Speaker 2: The reason why Putin invaded Ukraine is because of his evil Speaker 0: Evil. It's about that Putin wants to rebuild Soviet empire of evil like president Reagan told. Speaker 1: It's about Putin being sick. Speaker 0: I don't Speaker 2: know how you negotiate peace with a madman, but Speaker 1: nobody negotiated with People were comparing him to Hitler. Remember Hitler. Speaker 2: He's a Hitler. Speaker 1: We're back when the Nazis invaded This is exactly the same Speaker 2: what Hitler was doing to choose. Speaker 1: This is the same. Speaker 2: Putin will not stop. Speaker 1: Putin is reminiscent of Hitler. Hitler. Speaker 2: This reminds me of Hitler. Hitler. He's the new Hitler. Speaker 0: Well, Hitler Speaker 1: This is about a butcher trying to kill people everywhere in the world, Just not Ukraine, Syria, all over the place. I hear you. Their analysis project, Osprey, categorized Russians into two types: "A Priori Russians" identified by outside researchers, and "Inferred Russians" identified through algorithms. However, relying solely on markers like email carriers or retweeting history can lead to misinterpretations. Even Twitter acknowledged the broad nature of their categorizations. The difficulty in accurately identifying Russian accounts led to low initial numbers, but methodologies improved over time. Outside researchers lacked Twitters internal data, hindering their efforts. The Hamilton 68 dashboard, often cited for tracking Russian meddling, was found to be tracking Americans instead. Twitter analysts also criticized Clemsons Media Forensics Hub for its stories on Russian subversion. The hub's professors claimed certainty in identifying Russian accounts, but transparency was lacking. Instances of misidentifications occurred, including falsely attributing a hashtag to a Russian account. Twitter's own false positives extended to unjustly suspending American accounts. Despite the hype, Russian trolls were not as prevalent as believed. This is part of a series on finding disinformation.

1/ #TWITTERFILES 21 How to Find Russians Anywhere Pt.1 - PROJECT OSPREY - After the 2016 election, the Senate Intel Committee asked Twitter to identify accounts from Russia's Internet Research Agency. But both Twitter and 3rd party researchers struggled to find Russian agents. https://t.co/MZHGnIV157

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

2/ At first, Twitter was only able to produce 22 plus 179 IRA "linked" accounts. Democrat Mark Warner called the numbers "inadequate on every level". Twitter went back to the drawing board in an analysis project called "Osprey". https://t.co/jFzJS5P4gH

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

3/ In "Project Osprey," Twitter counted 2 types of Russians. 1. "A Priori" Russians - identified as Russian by outside researchers like QIntel 2. "Inferred" Russians (aka is_russian) - identified by algorithm tracking "signals" like Cyrillic text or a Russian IP address https://t.co/cGP5dqL6Do

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

4/ This kind of analysis, based on "markers" like type of email carrier or retweeting history, can quickly become a Rorschach test, where you see what you want to see. "If you just look for that marker, then everything will look Russian," is how one industry analyst puts it.

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

5/ Even Twitter understood. Noting Green Party candidate @DrJillStein was "captured by is_russian" - the "inferred Russians" list - Twitter analysts commented on the "overly broad nature of is_russian." https://t.co/64HNHRWXkP

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

6/ "Outrageous," says Stein. "Just more that Joe McCarthy would be proud of." https://t.co/7gx7Owy3g2

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

7/ Another account deemed "is_Russian" was @Wikileaks. Shown the attribution, @Stella_Assange said, "Wikileaks does not fit the definition," noting that anyone using surveillance-resistant search tools like the Tor Browser might also be deemed "Russian." https://t.co/HaMeFShM4q

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

8/ "Use of TOR would randomly result in false positives," Stella Assange said. "TOR is an essential tool for civil liberties and privacy communities." https://t.co/i4L2cMk114

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

9/ In the same Osprey document, Twitter notes the hashtag #WarAgainstDemocrats (which NYT reported was posted a scary 1,700 times on election day) only garnered a microscopic 6,953 impressions—a hydrogen atom in Twitter's vast ocean of tweets. https://t.co/bT9GzyR5il

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

10/ After Twitter's early attempts to identify Russian accounts resulted in such low numbers, they used different methodologies, tallying ever-increasing numbers of "Russians," from 22 to 201 to 2700 to 2,752 to 3,124 (in Osprey), & finally, 3,814. https://t.co/XNhpT323RC

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

11/ Even as Twitter began referring openly to "IRA-linked" accounts, the company had no sure way to make such identifications. They were only "potentially connected". https://t.co/6cvKysQZoo

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

12/ As policy chief Colin Crowell explained in late 2017, "we are citing accounts as IRA on the basis of 3rd party assessments," as "we have no realistic way of knowing this on a Twitter-centric basis," apart from "educated guesses." https://t.co/NbBCND5Gx9

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

13/ Twitter knew that if they couldn't identify IRA accounts with certainty, outside researchers lacking Twitter's internal data couldn't either. PART 2 - Russian Troll Hunters "They just don't have the chops" https://t.co/wbEDQt768l

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

14/ If you look on http://Racket.News today, you'll see that MSNBC alone made hundreds of false claims of Russian meddling, citing the Hamilton 68 dashboard, which past #TwitterFiles revealed to be tracking Americans, not "Russian bots and trolls," as claimed. https://t.co/Dofn4KMqSa

15/ Outside of Hamilton 68, about which Twitter stayed quiet despite internal knowledge that it was "bullshit," Twitter analysts may have had the most disdain for Clemson's Media Forensics Hub, a major driver of print and TV cyber-scare stories of Russian subversion. https://t.co/z5ER4HCNDo

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

16/ Clemson's "Troll Hunter" profs Darren Linvill & Patrick Warren appeared in one media story after another (sometimes photographed w Hamilton 68 dashboards in the background), even warning that "uplifting tweets" could lead you into the dark clutches of a Russian troll. https://t.co/JPxs0GDTk1

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

17/ When asked how they knew an account was Russian. Warren confessed he can't be "100% sure" but Livill said he was "certain". He wouldn't say how though. "Transparency just isn't possible," he said. https://t.co/yNgkxQGZXD

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

18/ Clemson's most "certain" troll hunter seemed to jump the gun in 2020 when he suggested #BloombergIsRacist could be a “Russian hashtag” bc it started that morning from the account @drkwarlord that “live[s] somewhere in Asia” bc it posts when Americans should be sleeping. https://t.co/Myyc6UnySh

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

19/ That was false: It started prior to that morning, and not by @drkwarlord, who is an American living in the US, not Asia. When I asked why his sleep sched seemed off, he laughed, and told me, “I’m a nurse at a hospital in Indiana. In 2020, I worked the night shift.” https://t.co/F7D0Y0GPwQ

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

20/ This kind of mixup appears to be what Twitter's Aaron Rodericks was referring to when he noted the Clemson professors' "constant tendency to find Russians/foreign interference every time they look for anything." https://t.co/KEwv2dDkK5

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

21/ Another example occurred w the #DCBlackout hoax. As Twitter exchanged emails with the FBI, describing the campaign as "a small-scale domestic troll effort...not a significant bot or foreign angle,” Linvill described the campaign as having employed “a classic Russian move". https://t.co/lUgILae5En

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

22/ After a later Clemson report regarding "inauthentic activity" during Vice Presidential debates, Rodericks decried "their usual unsubstantiated claims of foreign interference," writing they had to "scrape the bottom of the barrel to find foreign interference". https://t.co/vSV4LmYRjv

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

23/ But to the Clemson researchers' credit, they found Twitter was "scraping the barrel" too, having looped in several Americans in a list of "Russian bots" given to Congress. So clearly, Twitter's own false positives didn't stop with its project, Osprey. https://t.co/o8jU3cT05b

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

24/ The Americans found by Linvill & Warren had been unjustly censored—suspended from Twitter without warning or explanation. Thrown in a haystack of suspected Russians, "they lost access to Twitter accounts that they used to maintain social and career connections," wrote Wired. https://t.co/yFU5AbqkT4

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

25/ After years of Red Scare stories (citing the Clemson duo, Ham68, & others) that fueled such awful censorship, Linvill leveled with PBS in 2022: "You know, Russian trolls aren't as common as people think they are." https://t.co/5B3SkzbxlA

@0rf - Matt Orfalea

We have made Clear to the Russians that that pipeline is at risk if they move further into Ukraine. We can't find anybody who'd be the obvious culprit in all of this. Speaker 0: When it comes to Nord Stream 2, a Pipeline that would bring natural gas from Russia to Germany, it will not happen. It was deliberate act of sabotage. And now the Russians are pumping out disinformation in line. Speaker 1: I wanna bring in former CIA director John Brennan. Speaker 2: Russia is certainly the most likely suspect. Speaker 1: Russia is certainly the likeliest suspect. Russia is most likely behind us. Speaker 3: Russia is the likely cause of Speaker 1: Likelihood that Russia is behind the attacks. Speaker 2: Very likely. Russian Likely Russian. It is likely that this is an act by Russia. The most likely thing is is in fact the most likely thing. Russia most likely suspect at this point. One too many is Russian. I've heard people I Trust saying that it's just probably Russia. Speaker 1: Vladimir Putin, the most like Russia, is likely to blame. I mean, that's totally something Putin would do and then go Blame it on someone else. Potentially a scenario of cutting off your nose despite your face here. Why would Russia bomb its own pipeline? It doesn't seem to make sense if you're thinking in a rational actor scenario? But Speaker 2: Experts agree that Russia is the key suspect. Experts say Russia. Speaker 1: Experts point the finger at Russia. Speaker 2: Experts pointing their finger at Russia. Speaker 1: European leaders are pointing their finger at Russia. Speaker 2: And no fingers pointing at Vladimir Putin. Pointing their finger at Moscow. Pointing their finger Russia points to Russia. Bush logical points to Russia. German lawmakers point the finger at Russia. Spain points the finger at Russia. Speaker 1: All signs point to Russia. Speaker 2: Signs point to Russia Russia It still kind of seems to me like Occam's razor still point to Russia's involvement. Speaker 5: Russia is a prime suspect. Speaker 2: Putin, The prime suspect. This is a not so subtle message from the Russians. Speaker 1: Russian sabotage. Russian sabotage. Speaker 2: What's happening here is Russian sabotage. Sabotage by the Russians. Sabotage By the Russians. More stable rattle, more intimidation from the Russians. Certainly is. Well, NATO does not call out Russia by name for being behind the attack. Looks like it could have been had Russia behind it. It looks like it was a Russian attack. The attack is right out of Putin's playbook. Speaker 1: Putin's playbook. Putin's playbook. Sabotage sounds very part of his playbook. Speaker 6: You know, It's it's essentially owned by the Russians and a Russian company. It'd be hard to protect against self sabotage. Speaker 1: The assessment is Russia was behind it. Speaker 2: The destruction of the Nord Green pipeline, I would bet, was a Speaker 0: US action. What evidence do you have of that? Well, first of Speaker 2: all, there's Direct radar evidence. Speaker 0: Oh, Jeff, Jeff, you gotta stop there. They have to leave it there. Speaker 2: Only Russia could be behind the Nord Stream pipeline lead. Only one answer, Russia. Speaker 3: They do. Certainly, the suspicions have got to be Russia. Who's doing this? It's got to be Speaker 2: to be Russia. The obvious explanation that this was done by Russia. It's pretty obvious this is a Russian The sabotage operation. Speaker 1: Russia says, oh, we had nothing to do with this. But come on. Speaker 2: It was probably Russia that blew up the Nord Stream two pipeline. Speaker 1: Oh, I think it did. I'm 99% certain of it. Speaker 2: Everything that I'm reading and sensing is that Russia did it. Speaker 0: Russian or Russian forces. Speaker 2: So, Russia has done what it frequently does When it is responsible for something, which is make accusations that it was really someone else who did it. Russian sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline Marks the point of no return. Poland's prime minister called this the next stage in Russia's war escalation. Putin trying to incite an attack on Russia. Putin is Trying to coax NATO into this conflict. Speaker 7: The explosions, that we saw in the Baltic with Nord Stream 1 and 2, you know, that That would be mescalation. Speaker 2: No. I'm serious. He's looking for an excuse to escalate. Speaker 1: Could be the latest excuse for Putin to escalate his attack. The by leaks will change the course of this war. Speaker 2: This could be one of the most impactful global events of the year, if not of many years. The response to this sabotage It leads us down a very potential dark path, especially when it involves nuclear weapons. Speaker 1: NATO says it will retaliate for any attacks on the critical infrastructure of member countries? Speaker 2: The Nord Stream pipeline, if that is a Russian attack, does that count as an attack Speaker 8: on a NATO Any deliberate attack on critical NATO infrastructure will be met with the firm and united response from if Speaker 5: that could mark a new and serious escalation? Speaker 2: NATO may have to respond to this. So, Potentially, we are looking at NATO making some kind of pointed response other than a strongly worded statement to Russia for the top of what is basically European infrastructure. There was some optimism that maybe the Speaker 0: war in Ukraine would be tamping down. Is there any optimism now? I don't Speaker 2: I'm not optimistic about that. The gas leak in the Nord Stream pipeline has fundamentally changed the nature of the war in Ukraine. He seems to be laying the groundwork for the potential use of nuclear weapons on the battlefield. So maybe a week ago, we would have said there's a 10% chance. I think we're probably closer to 25 There's certainly an alarming escalation there. I believe it was the Russians. Fascinating.

The COVID lie that started it all! https://t.co/8xojEzchV5

Video Transcript AI Summary
The World Health Organization warns that the death rate from the coronavirus is rising and currently stands at 3.4%. However, President Trump believes this number is false and that the actual death rate is way under 1%. He has been criticized for spreading misinformation and contradicting health experts. Some scientists suggest that the death rate could be considerably less than 1%, but it is important to rely on information from doctors and scientists rather than hunches. The conflicting messages and misinformation being spread are dangerous and reckless, especially during a pandemic.

Speaker 0: The new warning for the World Health Organization at death rate from the coronavirus is rising. 3.4% is higher. Speaker 1: Twice as deadly as previous estimates. Three point 4% Speaker 2: state of emergency. Well, I think the 3.4% is really a false number based on a lot of conversations with a lot The people that do this. I think the number is way under 1%. Speaker 3: So to fact check, the World Health Organization says the coronavirus Death rate is 3.4%. Speaker 1: President Trump lies that the World Health Organization is wrong. The number is 3.4%. 3.4% is what it's being reported around the world. Making it deadlier so much death. Speaker 3: The death Speaker 1: rate. The percentage is 3.4%. And no hunch from the president can change that. Trump lied about the most recent World Health Organization estimate that the global death rate of coronavirus is 3.4%. The 3.4% death rate was wrong, and WHO data later updated it to Speaker 2: For a fraction of 1 ahead. Speaker 1: Let's go back in the history. Trump has a hunch that the death rate is lower than 1%. Speaker 2: Way under 1%. Way under 1%. Speaker 1: Will someone put a mozzarella 2. Stupid old. Don't lie to viewers about the mortality rate. It's way under 1%. False information. He's spreading disinformation. Misinformation two dangerous. Disinformation. Maybe a president of the United States. You have the world's greatest scientist at your disposal. Speaker 4: Can you Speaker 1: listen to that? Leading scientists, including doctor Fauci, wrote in the New England Journal of Medicine that the death rate could be considerably less than 1%. Speaker 2: Way under 1%. Speaker 1: Why are you going on national television and contradicting experts based on a hunch? His fake hunch was some fake math. Speaker 5: The president somehow thinks it could be lower than 1% based on nothing. Speaker 2: Based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Speaker 6: Outright lies. Contradicting health officials on fatality rates. Speaker 7: It's not a time for Donald Trump to Speaker 1: be calling into cable shows. It's a time for the CDC. What is CDC's best estimate of the fatality rate? Somewhere between half a percent and 1%. Speaker 2: To a fraction of 1%. Speaker 1: The president is spreading false information. Information discarding what the health professionals The saying. Speaker 8: Outright bogus information. Speaker 1: Science is not based on hunches. Speaker 3: It's a hunch about what he thinks is going on. Speaker 1: Instead of trusting information from doctors and scientists. Speaker 3: He has a hunch. Time to hunch. Speaker 7: It's not a time for Donald Trump's hunches. It's a time for science. It's a time for doctors. Speaker 1: Welcome doctor j Bhattacharya. My hypothesis My hunch. Was as likely to be less deadly than Speaker 2: the World Health Organization's thing. 3.4%. There's no way that was Really, false numbers. Speaker 1: This is why I ran the study in April 2020. And what did you discover? The infection fatality rate was 0.2%. Way under 1%. Trump continues to contradict and downplay all things coronavirus. Speaker 3: The president appearing to contradict medical experts on the mortality rate of the virus. Speaker 2: Personally, I would say the number is way under 1%. Speaker 1: Later on CNN. Our estimates are probably pretty inflated. Speaker 2: Very high. Because the easy cases, they don't report The doctors or the hospital have been Speaker 4: a case. So Initially, WHO released the estimates of 3.4%. Speaker 2: Really, false number. Speaker 1: The true fatality rate is likely to be far far less. Speaker 2: Way under 1%. It could be in Speaker 1: the range of a seasonal influenza. We're a fraction Speaker 2: Should have 1%. This is just my hunch. Speaker 1: He is spreading misinformation and disinformation. Speaker 8: You can even call it information. Speaker 1: An outbreak of sketchy information coming from the president. Using a hunch instead of sending to the global authority on public health. Hunch. Speaker 9: There's lots to be concerned about. His hunch Speaker 1: A hunch. Hunches. Just by hunch and hunch. It's hunch. Speaker 2: By hunch. Based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people, that's not what you want for the American people. Speaker 1: A hunch. I think in retrospect, those quotes are gonna look even more damning. Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from five. The pandemic of misinformation. Put out misinformation. Redding false information. And the disinformation False. Wrong and misleading information. Misleading misinformation and misinformation. Misinformation. Just unspeakably reckless. It's totally reckless. Speaker 3: It's dangerous to have conflicting messages out out there. Speaker 1: That is very dangerous. Speaker 3: How dangerous is it? Really dangerous. Speaker 1: What is the danger? Speaker 3: I think we're in a very dangerous period. If The president continues to hunt

YouTube has updated its policy to ban medical misinformation that contradicts WHO or local health authorities. The expanded policy covers substances, prevention, treatment, and denial of health conditions. However, enforcement may be arbitrary and not encompass all CDC/WHO guidance. The media highlighted YouTube's efforts to censor cancer misinformation, but the policy extends beyond cancer. The original COVID19 policy URL now redirects to the new expanded policy.

As usual, this policy will be arbitrarily enforced, as it "may not cover all [CDC]/WHO guidance," but rather only guidance relating to an ever-changing hidden list of "specific health conditions and substances"🤔/2

Why RFK Jr. is convinced the CIA killed his father:

Video Transcript AI Summary
Paul Shrade, a union leader and close friend of the speaker's father, was present when his father was shot. Shrade believes that Sirhan did not kill the speaker's father. The speaker explains that Sirhan fired two shots, one hitting Shrade and the other hitting a door jam behind his father. Several people grabbed Sirhan, but he managed to fire six more shots, hitting multiple people. The speaker suggests that a security guard named Eugene Saint Saeser, who was holding his father's arm, likely fired the shots that killed his father. The LAPD's investigation was botched, with evidence and photographs destroyed. The speaker also mentions the involvement of a mob attorney representing Johnny Roselli, who had ties to the CIA.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Paul Shrade, who was with my father when he was shot, as a union leader, one of the heads of the United Auto Workers. He was the guy who recruited Cesar Chavez into the labor movement. And and he introduced him to my father, and they became best friends. And so Paul was very, very close by and was with him. The 1st bullet had Sirhan fired. Hit Paul Shradd in the head. Paul Shradd has never believed A Serhan killed my father. Wow. He knows that he shot him. A Serhan. And and so I and Paul forced me to sit down to read the autopsy report, stuff I never wanted to do. And to look at all the evidence that has accumulated since my father's f n Speaker 1: So Ethel's your mother. Right? Speaker 0: Ethel's my mother. Alright. Oh, Sirhan was it was 77 eyewitnesses in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel, and my father was killed. And many, many of them had a a view of what happened. A very few of them could view the whole thing, but they could view parts of that. Everybody without exception places their hand, 5 feet to 10 feet away from my father in front of them. He never got behind him. He was always in front with a table between them. Steam table. Sirhan fired 2 shots at my father. The first one hit balls right in the head. The second 1 hit a door jam at my father's head level behind my father. Then he was grabbed by Carl Auker, who was the, who was the concierge at the Ambassador Hotel, and by Raeford Johnson and and 6 other people. It was a dog pile, and they all piled on him, and they grabbed. The first thing they did was grab his hand. It directed in the opposite direction, and they could not get the gun away from him. And he was powerful as a, like, Superman, they said. They were all trying to take the gun away from him. He's a little guy, And he fired 6 shots in the other direction. All of them hit people. 1 person got hit twice, but all those bullets are accounted for. There were only 8 Chambers and his gun. And 2 were fired toward my father and 6 in the opposite direction. And we know what happened to every one of those bullets. My father was shot 4 times. One of their shots, and they all 4 times were from behind. Right. And with a gun that was, that was and they were all what the coroner, Thomas Noguchi, said contact shots. And the barrel of the gun was touching my father when the when the trigger was pulled. And he had carbon tattoos from all four shots. One of the shots went harmlessly through his sleeve and through his shoulder pad. All of the shots were fired from a low angle toward the ceiling. Whoever fired those shots was standing behind him because dealing the gun, and firing at the same time that Sirhan was distracting people essentially. And the person who almost certainly fired those shots was a security Guard, who was holding my father's arm at that time called Eugene Saint Saeser. And a dozen people saw him with his gun drawn. My father fell back on him. And as he fell, he turned and pulled off the Caesars clip untie. Caesar lied to the police about this gun. He told many, many different stories about when he had drawn his gun. He lied. He said he did own a 22. The police didn't talk to him, and I didn't confiscate his gun. The time they talked to him, he said, yeah, I own the 22, but I sold it a month before the shooting. As it turns out, that was a lie. He sold it a month after the shooting, and he sold it to a man who worked at him with him in the high security section of a Lockheed factory here in Los Angeles, who then moved to Arkansas, later talked to investigators and said, yeah, he he had a receipt from when it was sold. And it was sold in July. My father was Kelvin Chin. And Caesar told him at that time, this gun was used in a crime, so don't talk to anybody about it. Caesar it as it turns out, what is a c l a s. And he died about 3 weeks ago. And he died in the Philippines where he's lived for the past 3 decades. And, But he's almost certainly the person who who killed my father. Now, his job as a security guard that I he got 5 days before, when it was already known that my father be speaking there. We don't know exactly what happened, but there are and then the investigation was a botched investigation appears to have been deliberately botched by the LAPD. It was run by people all within the LAPD, all of whom had they were there was a special unit created called Special Unit Senator, in my father's at death. Almost all the members of that unit were ex CIA agents who had, trained in the CIA farm in in Virginia, and shipped down to Latin America to do dirty tricks work there and then brought back for this investigation. And they destroyed before Sirhan's trial. They they destroyed 1200 pieces of evidence, including all the bullets. And and and about 1200 photographs as well that were taken in the room that night. You know, there's a lot of questions. There's never there really I believed that there had been a trial. As it turns out there was in a trial. Oerhan's attorney was an attorney who somehow, and nobody can explain how, he was a mob attorney who was representing Johnny Roselli, who had been at that time there was a famous trial in Los Angeles called the Friars Club trial. You know what Friars Club is. Speaker 1: Please. What Speaker 0: is that? Friars Club is where they started roasts. Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Speaker 0: And it was It was all the Rat Pack, actors, Joey Bishop and Frank Sinatra and Dean. And Dean Martin. Dean Davis. Yeah. All of those guys were members of prior club, and they'd get together every couple of months and roast one of their members. And to get in there, you had to be wearing a tux. And they also had a gambling, a poker game or a gambling casino. I'm not sure which, but there was a poker game in there. And as it turns out, Johnny Roselli was the owner of the club. Johnny Roselli was the CIA's liaison to the model. Speaker 1: That's a trip. You know, I used to read about him. He was in the twenties too. Speaker 0: Yeah. He was an interesting guy, he was a devout Catholic. He he didn't have a home address, but he was tied in with Giancana, but also Carlos Massello and Trafficante. He had installed secret cameras in the Friars Club, so they could read everybody's cards, and they were cheating. He got caught, and he was on trial at the time my father was killed. And it was a huge trial. During that trial, his attorney got arrested for having the grand jury transcripts, which is illegal for anybody to have. It's a serious crime. He'd go to jail for it. And somehow, he had got the transcripts of the grand jury. So, and clearly the mafia had to bribe somebody to get that, given it to the attorney. The attorney wouldn't tell where he got it, He was facing criminal charges, also disbarment. And in the middle of all that, he was somehow appointed as Sirhan's attorney. He told Sirhan to plead guilty. If Sirhan had pleaded innocent, there was no way that he could have gotten Speaker 1: convicted because the bullets that were in his gun, the Speaker 0: bullets that were in Because the bullets that were in his gun the bullets that killed my father did not match the ballistics of the bullets in his gun with the bullets that hit the other 8 people in the world. Speaker 1: Cover up big time.

Speaker 0: We wanna make sure that people can discern the truth from the misinformation, and we wanna make sure that everyone understands that no one's safe till everyone's safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. Speaker 1: No one is safe. No Speaker 0: one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. Nobody is safe. This is Speaker 2: a post 9 11 axiom. Safer but not yet safe. Speaker 0: No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe from COVID nineteen until everyone is safe. Speaker 2: If the whole world isn't safe, none of us are safe. Speaker 0: No one is safe. Speaker 1: No one is safe. Nobody is Speaker 2: safe until we're all safe. Speaker 1: Health experts have been saying nobody is safe. Speaker 0: Nobody is safe until everybody is safe. Nobody is safe. Science just clear. None of us are safe. There is no safety. Speaker 1: No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. Speaker 2: No one is safe until everyone is safe. No one's safe. Speaker 0: Nobody is safe. Safe. Nobody's safe. Speaker 2: No one's safe. We'll never be safe. Until we're all safe. We are never gonna be safe. Speaker 0: 99.5% of people are safe and will survive COVID nineteen. The only positive thing out of this is we should be able to manufacture a lot of seen 10. Nobody will be safe if not everybody is vaccinated. You don't have a choice. As long as not everybody is vaccinated, nobody will be safe. Normalcy We'll see only returns when we've largely vaccinated the entire global population. So Get Speaker 1: the fucking vaccine. You need to get vaccinated. Vaccinated. And if you don't, you are going to die. I know you're vaccinated. You're the smart ones, but you know there's people out there who aren't listening to God and what God wants. You know who they are. Speaker 0: The unvaccinated people. My message to unvaccinated Americans is this. Speaker 2: If you are the unvaccinated, you are the problem. You'll Speaker 0: fucking dead. I'm saying no. Blame. The only people that you can blame are the unvaccinated. Speaker 1: Frankly, we can't trust the unvaccinated. Speaker 0: They should not be part of Polite society. Lunatics who won't take COVID vaccines walking around lawfully unvaccinated are psychotic. If you're willing to walk among us unvaccinated, you are an safe. You have no right not to be vaccinated. You don't have the right to contaminate someone. You can't go around pointing a gun in somebody's face, which is what it is when people are unvaccinated. They are all all idiots and losers. This is a real movement Speaker 2: in this country against the unvaccinated. Jennifer Aniston is cutting non vaccinated people out of her life. Unrepentant, unvaccinated. Speaker 0: They should be removed from the hospital. Those who refuse to be vaccinated should be denied health care. Vaccinated person having a heart attack, yes. Come right on in. We'll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy, rest in peace, wheezy. You're Speaker 2: Some doctors are saying they'll refuse treatment For people who'd scooned not to get the shot. Why are hospital and ICU resources going to them? Morons. Speaker 0: You'll not get the shot. Vaccinated clowns. Idiots who think that they can do their own research. Speaker 3: Don't do any of your own research. Speaker 1: Doing your own research is associated with conspiracy theory safe. Speaker 0: This go it alone approach doing your own research that can have serious consequences. You should get prison time for even questioning the vaccines. Can we all stop saying, I need to do my own research? That phrase, do your own research, 4 words, 4 little words that are hurting America. Doing your own research hurts America. Everybody has a supercomputer in their hand that empowers them to do their own research, and that's the problem. You must not do your own research. There. I need to do my own research. I don't have never understand what that means. I'm doing my own research. Speaker 1: You can't do your own research unless you're a scientist. Safe. Come do your own research. Speaker 2: Maybe you've told yourself you're planning it safe. You just wanna wait and see since this is a new vaccine. Now. Speaker 1: Blow the up and get the vaccine. Speaker 0: Unvaccinated people spread the virus. It's a vaccine, you dopes. Don't be a Get yourself vaccinated. That's just all there is pooped. There's no excuse. No excuse for being unvaccinated. There's no rational and no emotional argument that adds up against getting your damn shot. There's a there's a Speaker 1: But you made a conscious decision not to get the vaccine. I also have natural immunity. So for me, personally, safe. This vaccine poses a greater risk than a benefit. I'm also not a risk to any of you. Let's look at the science. Speaker 0: So we see that the natural infection is given greater protection or slightly greater protection done vaccination. Speaker 1: This is a vaccine that was created to prevent severity of disease and to prevent hospitalizations, but the Steam does not prevent you from getting COVID and does not prevent you from transmitting Oh, my goodness. Reality out. We have seen that stuff. Come on. No. It'll go to Fox safe till everyone's safe. No one is Speaker 0: safe. Safe. When we've poked at, we'll be new. You're gonna be safe from the COVID infected you. Safe. Speaker 2: The virus stopped with every vaccinated person. Speaker 0: Do it so you stop spreading a terrible disease. And that seen. Our key goal is to stop the transmission so that you get almost no almost no, infection going on whatsoever. Expectation for vaccines seems as not to get infected. Speaker 2: A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus. The virus does not infect them. Speaker 0: When the virus gets to you, you stop stopping. You're not gonna catch it. You're not gonna get sick. You're not gonna transmit it. The vaccine is absolutely bulletproof. Speaker 1: Vaccines block you from getting and giving the virus. 100% effective in preventing COVID. Speaker 0: The vaccine prevents you from getting infected. Speaker 1: It is Speaker 2: to keep you from getting it and then spreading it. Speaker 1: We safe. Have the ability to stop COVID in its tracks. Speaker 0: You're not gonna get COVID if you have these vaccinations. Quaidant tests positive for COVID nineteen. When people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not gonna get infected. Doctor Fauci tests positive for COVID nineteen. Speaker 1: Vaccinated people do not carrying the virus, don't get sick. Speaker 0: CDC director tests positive for COVID nineteen. Seeing. Pfizer CEO test positive for COVID. Pfizer CEO test positive for COVID again. CDC director safe. Test positive for COVID again. Fauci test positive for COVID again. Joe Biden test positive for COVID again. Speaker 1: Cases up 258%, safe. The majority of these cases are among the vaccinated, and this area is the most vaccinated part of Massachusetts. Speaker 0: So many fully vaccinated. People are testing positive. Speaker 1: So people here are a bit angry. Speaker 0: We are all really concerned about what this means long term. I was vaccinated, and I got COVID. Safe.
