Speaker describes a battle of narratives for the global South and the rest of the world. At an ASEAN meeting, it was noted that Russia was addressing China, with the claim: 'we fought the second world war. We won the second world war. We won the Nazism.' The speaker finds this development new and says it raises questions about history. He adds that if you know history, 'it raises a lot of question marks in your head.' He contends that nowadays people 'don't really read and remember history that much,' and that 'you can see that they buy this narrative.' The exchange highlights how competing historical narratives are shaping perceptions beyond Europe.

Speaker 0: This is the battle of narratives for for the global South and all the rest of the world, really. I was in ASEAN meeting, one thing what was interesting, you know, that Russia was addressing China, like, you and and like Russia and China, we, you know, fought the second world war. We won the second world war. We won the Nazism. And I was like, okay, that is something new. But then you can see, first you can, you know, if you know history, then, you know, it raises a lot of question marks in your head. But, you know, I can tell you nowadays, don't really read and remember history that much, which is that, you know, you can see that they buy this narrative.

Ursula: LNG from the US is more "affordable and better" than pipeline gas from right next door. Europe is being destroyed, and it is deliberate. https://t.co/WTwIy4LHPP

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker discusses a three-year plan involving the purchase of 250 units per year. The speaker states that too much Russian LNG is entering the European Union through the back door, along with some Russian gas and oil. The goal is to eliminate Russian fossil fuels entirely from the European Union. Purchasing more affordable and better LNG from the United States is welcomed. The estimation is approximately 250 units per year over three years.

Speaker 0: It is divided into three years. So during his term, 250 per year. And, indeed, we still have too much Russian LNG that is coming through the back door again to our European Union and some Russian gas and oil still in the European Union, which we do not want anymore. We want to absolutely get rid of Russian fossil fuels. And therefore, it is much welcome to purchase the more affordable and better LNG from The United States. And there, approximately, estimation is that we can do 250 per year over three years.

I shared that Trump had a lengthy call with Putin, but I'm unsure who initiated it. The tone was notably different from his previous "playing with fire" remarks. They talked about Ukraine's drone strikes and acknowledged that both sides would retaliate, with Trump recognizing that immediate peace isn't on the horizon. I also noted a significant development: Trump's admission that Russia could be crucial in the Iran deal, a topic we discussed over a month ago. Russia's involvement could open many opportunities for Trump's policies, but time is of the essence.

@AXChristoforou - Alex Christoforou

Trump speaks with Putin. Another long call. Who initiated the call, Trump or Putin? Much different tone than "playing with fire" Truth post. Two leaders discussed Ukraine drone strikes and "various other attacks...by both sides." Trump accepted that Putin will retaliate, and it will be big. Trump admits "immediate peace" not coming. BIG NEWS: Admission that Russia can play a key role with Iran deal, something The Duran discussed more than a month ago and is now in play. Russia can unlock many doors for Trump and his policies, but time and patience is running out.

Speaker 0: Sam, can you, just going to going to start ups? I mean, as you know, we've got a very vibrant start up ecosystem in India. Specifically focused on AI, are there spaces where you see, let's say, a start up from India building, you know, you can build on the models, you know, be it, Charge, PTE and many others. But if you wanna build foundational models, how should we think about that? Where is it that a team from India, you know, 3 super smart engineers with, you know, not a 100,000,000, but let's say 10,000,000 could actually build something truly substantial? Speaker 1: Look. The way this works is we're gonna tell you it's totally hopeless to compete with us on training foundation models you shouldn't try, and it's your job to, like, try anyway. And I believe both of those things. I think it I think it is pretty hopeless. But Speaker 2: This is my video update on this Tuesday midday, January 28th. Coming to you from Limassol, Cyprus. Let's talk about some news. And we are on a journey to the Goguen Park. If we can find this park and see what it's all about. As we look for the park named after the famous French master, Let's talk about what is going on in the world. And everyone is talking about DeepSeek, the Chinese AI service, which has shaken the entire world. It's definitely shaken up the US AI industry. NVIDIA shares, they, plummeted a whole lot yesterday. I believe at the time of recording this video, NVIDIA was trading at about a $118. But I think NVIDIA will will be okay, because what DeepSeq has done is that they have smashed the AI barriers to entry. Everyone was talking about how AI, as a business, is very expensive, very difficult to to get into. Well, DeepSeq has changed all of that, and it's expanded the the AI market. So I think that going forward, you will probably, just a guess, you will probably have more demand for NVIDIA chips going forward, but, Huawei is also now in the AI business in a big way. Huawei has has surfaced, resurfaced after all of the bans from the collective west against Huawei. They are now a big player in AI. I believe that DeepSeek uses a whole lot of Huawei technology. So what does this mean for for OpenAI? What does this mean for the big player in the US OpenAI? Well, I think they're the most hurt from DeepSeek because from what I understand, DeepSeek's service, business is much cheaper than OpenAI. A whole lot cheaper. That's not good if you're OpenAI when you have a Chinese competitor that is considerably less expensive to to use as a service. What does this mean for the UK and Keir Stormer? You know what this means. His his goal of making the UK into an AI superpower is now within reach. It's within reach. He can just tap into DeepSeek. That's right. He can tap into DeepSeek, the Chinese AI service, and he can turn the UK into an AI superpower. And it's going to be simple and cost effective. And it's not gonna cost Keir Stormer that much money or that much investment. Trump was saying that he's gonna invest 500,000,000,000 in data centers for AI. Keir Stormer can now do it on the cheap and he can turn hard knock, Mauthai Academy. Awesome. He can turn the UK into an AI superpower, and that means because he's gonna do it so cheap that he can send more money to Olenski. This is a huge win for Kier Stormer. My name is Stormer, Kier Stormer. Double o, 8 license to kill Keir Stormer. Alright. So Deep Seek making a lot of news. Let's just keep on walking. Let's keep on walking. I think I'll find the park somewhere up here. We'll see. Otherwise, I'm just gonna be lost. It's okay to be lost. You never know what you find when you're a little bit lost. So yesterday, we had the 80th anniversary ceremony of Auschwitz Liberation. And in upside down world, Germany was was invited. Germany was there. Zelensky, Ukraine, the Benderites, they were there. The Baltics were there. You know who was not there? The actual army, the country that did the liberating. They were not represented at this ceremony. Russia, Soviet Union, they were not there. Upside down world. I remember a couple of years ago, Olenski was in the Canadian Parliament. Chiranan Hunka. Remember that one? Yesterday, he was in representing Ukraine. So that happened yesterday. In Russia, Putin and Russia, they celebrated the 81st anniversary of the breaking of the siege of Leningrad. The Russian president took part in a commemorative ceremony and met with veterans of the 2nd World War. The siege of Leningrad, Saint Petersburg, today was one of the deadliest blockades ever imposed on a city with over a 1000000 people, half of Leningrad's population, succumbing to starvation, disease, and bombardment by Nazi forces. The siege began on September 8, 1941 and lasted for 872 days. The Red Army managed to open a narrow land corridor to the city in January 1943 with the siege fully lifted only on January 27, 1944. So Putin gave an amazing speech yesterday at at this commemoration. Let's go straight, see what we find. Did you guys catch the interview with, Matt Taibbi? Tucker Carlson's interview of Matt Taibbi. Matt Taibbi used to live in in Russia, I believe, in the nineties, so he knows the the country well. But, Tucker, stuff that he said, man, during this interview, Tucker said that the Biden Biden White House wanted to take out Putin. They were getting so desperate because they were losing so bad in this proxy war with Russia that it got to the point that Bidenopolis, according to Tucker, was considering deleting Russian president Vladimir Putin. Amazing. Amazing the stuff that Tucker was saying. He also said that Blinken was pretty much running US foreign policy for 4 years when Bidenopolis was president. I agree with that, but I think Blinken was more of the vice president. I believe that the real president of foreign policy, in my opinion, was Jake Sullivan. But, Tucker said that as well, and he also said that the US, the Biden White House, they blew up Nord Stream, Nord Stream pipeline. No big surprise there, but then Tucker went on to talk about how blowing up Nord Stream was effectively an attack against NATO ally, Germany. Yes. It was. Yes. It was. Of course, I believe that the people behind the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage was was Gilligan, the skipper, and his crew led by Zaluzhny. I don't know why Tucker's trying to put the blame on Bidenapolis, but he should be looking at at Ginger Mary Anne and the professor. The professor, he made all the calculations for blowing up Nord Stream. And Gilligan. We are lost, man. Where is this park, bro? Dang. Alright. We'll keep on walking. So staking with Nord Stream. That's all I want to say to you. Oh, Oh, bad. So many sogs that, that go with Duda's name. But, Duda, the president of Poland, he told the BBC in an interview that he believes whatever is left of Nord Stream should be destroyed. Should be destroyed. I don't know if he said the word destroyed. Did you say the word destroyed? I believe he said that whatever remains of Nord Stream should, should not be made available to Germany. Germany should be prevented to use whatever remains of Nord Stream so that you don't get some German Russian reproachmont. Germany using cheap, reliable, dependable, right next door Russian energy to to save the country and its economy. Duda is against all of this. I told you guys. Did I not tell you guys? In my video from a couple of days ago, Poland, they want Germany out of the picture. They want Germany out of the picture. Poland wants to be the big dog, and the European Union and Europe, they wanna reign supreme. They want Germany, the competition, out of the picture. Oh, we'll keep on walking. So, yeah, that's what Duda said. Poland warned against restarting Russia gas supplies. Andres Duda told the BBC that the Nord Stream gas pipelines, which have not been used since 2,022, should be dismantled. He does want them destroyed. This, he said, would mean the likes of Germany would not be tempted to restore Russian supplies to boost its own struggling economy. I can only hope that European leaders will learn lessons from Russia's aggression against Ukraine and that they will push through a decision to never restore the pumping of gas through the pipeline. He doesn't want Germany tempted to restore, to save their struggling economy. Nope. We don't want you to be tempted to save yourselves, so we must destroy and dismantle Nord Stream according to Duda. Ugh, the Unified European Union. They're all buddies. They're all pals. Oh, boy. What else? Politico put out a newsletter the other day where Let's see here. Should we go this way? Let's go this way. If it's not up here, then it's down there. If it's not down there, then, well, it's nowhere. Politico, they put out a report where they claim that the EU is upset that the Trump White House does not call them. Yeah. They're feeling ignore ignored by the Trump White House. The European Union, they're feeling ignored. The Trump White House has reached out to EU member states. They've called the EU member states. But the problem is that they have not reached out to the European Union, to Ursula, to Kyacallis. I believe they've spoken to Neokhan, Thank you USA, Sikorsky. I believe they've spoken to well, they've spoken to Baerbock. I'll get into that later on. Rubio's also called a couple of the Baltic states as well. Italy, he's, spoken with the foreign minister of Italy. But Calla Callas, no phone call. Why are you calling me Rubio? Please call me Rubio. I'm Calla Callas. I'm stunning and brave. Why are you not calling me? Yeah. Maloney was, invited to the inauguration. Ursula? Nope. No invite, and this is freaking out the European Union. Politico says it's a cold shower for the EU. A cold shower. It's a radical shift from the friendly relationship that commissioned president van der Luyen and other top EU figures had with Joe Biden's administration, the outlet reports. The EU's top diplomat, Callas, issued an open invitation to new US secretary of state Marco Rubio last week to attend a meeting in Brussels according to Politico. She has yet to receive a reply. The lack of response highlights a concern that the EU is being rejected by Trump's administration in favor of national leaders. Yeah. It's real simple. Trump doesn't like you. Trump White House doesn't like you guys. He has no respect for you guys. You're not a country. You're not a sovereign. He doesn't wanna deal with you. Get over it. Get over it, man. He's not gonna call you. He's gonna call you. Rubio will call Calla Callas. Sooner or later, he'll get in touch with Kaya Callas, and he'll talk to her. That's gonna happen. Let's go this way. I think I see something. I think I see something. There's a barbershop since 2,011. Must be good if it's been around since 2,011. So Baerbach did speak to Rubio, finally. Analina 360 had a phone call with Marco Rubio. No. This is not it. Let's go down. And, remember last week, she was telling Build that, when she was a student, she lived in Florida, foreign exchange student in Florida. Annalena, a young young innocent German student living in Florida. She understood from her experience in Florida, how Floridians think, how they behave, how they walk and talk. And Annalena said, don't worry. My experience in Florida will help us navigate the Trump administration? Well, she, she spoke to Rubio and she basically folded to everything that the Trump White House has been saying with regards to the European Union, to, to NATO, all of that stuff. She basically told Rubio, whatever you want, we'll do it. We will do it whatever you want. We are at your service, Rubio. United States. So I've got my maps open. Says I'm straight ahead. Okay. Okay. So I'm up that way. We're gonna get there. We are going to get there. The Goggan Park. So what did Baerbock say? The foreign minister previously said she knows how to deal with her US counterpart because she once lived in Florida. She spoke with Rubio, and Europe is ready to take greater responsibility for its own security, Baerbach told Rubio, according to The Post. Among other matters, the top diplomats reportedly discussed shared interests, including NATO and the situations in the Middle East and Ukraine. Baerbach told Bill last week that she once lived in Florida, that she should not be underestimated. Never underestimate Annalena 360. When asked how she would deal with Rubio if and when he calls her, although she insisted that supporting Kyiv remains a priority for Berlin, the state department's readout of the Monday call may no made no mention no mention of Ukraine among the list of wide range of mutual interests. That is unbelievable. That is unbelievable. Annalena speaks with Rubio and there is no mention. Zero mention of Project Ukraine, which is Annalena Baerbach's number one priority. That's like top on our list. Ukraine is more of a priority for Baerbach than Germany. That's how important Project Ukraine is. But according to the White House readout, Rubio didn't wanna talk about Project Ukraine. Alright. USAID. Let's talk about USAID. It looks like the Trump administration is dismantling USAID, which was once being run, or at least under the Biden White House was being run by chief regime change specialist Samantha Power. Now we are getting from Politico top USAID career staff placed on immediate leave. This is like taking out all the generals, said a former Trump administration official informed of the decision. Yeah. Trump is dismantling USAID, dismantling the regime change industrial complex, the color revolution industrial complex. Good news. That is good news. Shall we do a Ukraine update? Let's talk a little bit about Ukraine. What is I'm also looking at my maps. I'm also looking at my maps. I'm walking. I'm talking. Let's talk about Ukraine. Zelensky gave an interview to Italian media the other day, and he said that Ukraine is running out of men. They're running out of men. That's what Olenski said, hinting at the mobilization of 18 year olds. Keep in mind that Olenski, just 6 months ago, stated that the casualties suffered by the Ukraine military was 35,000. He's telling Italian media that Ukraine is running out of men. He also told Italian media that it was crazy. It was stupid for Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons. We're back at this at this story. Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons in the Budapest memorandum and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You cry. Yes. We found it. That has to be it. That has to be it. Mission accomplished. Thanks to maps. Yeah. Ukraine never had nuclear weapons. Weapons. I'm not gonna get into this again. I'm not gonna get into this again. No. No. No. Zelensky is a deceiver. He is a deceiver, and, I don't think he got any pushback from the Italian, journalist. The Italian journalist probably believes that Ukraine once had nuclear weapons. It never had nuclear weapons. Let it go, Helensky. Let it go. He said Ukraine did not need to give up its nuclear weapons. It was stupid. Completely logical. It was stupid. Epidoliac. Stupid. Right? Yes, mister president. It was stupid. Yeah. It was stupid. Alright. So this is what we came to see. Let's, let's check it out. What is the connection with Gogan? That's what I'm trying to figure out. Okay. Okay. What else? What else with Project Ukraine? Oh, the story yesterday about Budanov, where he was in some meeting with RADA officials, parliament officials, and they asked him what's going on with the conflict in Ukraine. What do you think Android AI robot, Krylov Budanov and Budanov said if we don't negotiate by summertime, then Ukraine's gonna cease to exist. Well, the the Intel services of Ukraine are denying that Budanov said this. Let me tell you something. It's, it's a weak denial. It is a very, very weak denial. Graffiti with the word Texas. See Texas, man. Texas is even in Cyprus. What did they say? What was their denial? The HUR issued a statement on Telegram on Monday rejecting the quote as false and urging media outlets to refrain from spreading rumors, unverified, and officially unconfirmed information, especially regarding critical national security matters. The intelligence agency emphasized that the dissemination of any reports allegedly discussing discussed at classified official meetings involving the military and political leadership, undermines state security and is exploited by the enemy for its interests. A very weak denial. This leads me to believe that Bidenoff really did say this. That is one weak sauce denial. I will I will speculate that Budanov did say that negotiations by summer or elsewhere done, that he did say this and now they are in damage mode. It's like a fortress. Man, if I was a kid, I would love it up here. I'm not a kid anymore, but I still kind of love it up here. Alright. So that's the denial, the weak sauce denial from Ukraine intel on what Budanov said. And let's talk about Bakrovsk. According to Forbes, another Ukrainian brigade is disintegrating as it deploys to Pokrovsk. The 157th Mechanized Brigade did not undergo the necessary combat training. This is coming from Forbes. Not Russian media, not RT, not TAS, not Sputnik. This is coming from Forbes which has been one of the top cheerleaders of the Green Goblin. So mastika. Another one. Someone was drinking some stuff up here. Woah. I almost fell. That would have not been good. So, Forbes, what is Forbes saying? Forbes is saying that the Ukraine military, this brigade, very poorly trained soldiers soldiers quickly put together, cobbled together, and sent to Pokrovsk. The minute that they saw the fortifications in Pokrovsk, they ran away. That is what Forbes is reporting. Not RT, not Sputnik, not Tas. Green Goblin cheerleader, Forbes. Let me read you. Let's go over there, and then I'll read you what Forbes is saying. Alright. Capturing Pokrovsk is one of Russia's top objectives as its wider war on Ukraine grinds into its 4th year. Defending it is one of Ukraine's top objectives given its importance. It's shocking so many observers that the Ukrainian army keeps reinforcing the city with dysfunctional dysfunctional units including the 1 55th and the 1 57th mechanized brigades. Both units began falling apart before they even arrived in Pokrovsk. It's no wonder then that the 157th mechanized brigade was falling apart as it arrived in Pokrovsk. There were reports of brigade troopers taking one one look at their trenches and promptly abandoning their positions. I remember the 2023 super duper great Ukraine counter offensive and the the goal the reasoning the reasoning that the counter offensive was gonna work and the Ukraine military was gonna march to the sea of Azov and then start firing at Crimea, eventually leading to the fall of Crimea and the capture of Crimea and the fall of Putin and the capture of Russia, the dismantling of Russia. I remember that the reasoning that was given for the success of the counter offensive, the summer of 2023, was that once the Russian military got a look at the Ukraine military with all of those amazing super duper NATO weapons, the Russian military would drop their weapons and just run away. That's not a joke. That's that's what they seriously thought was going to happen. And here you have Forbes saying that once the Ukraine soldiers took a look at Pokrovsk and the trenches and the fortifications, of which from what I understand according to Ukraine sources, are very little, not as well defended and fortified as say, Toretsk or Bakhmut or Avdehka. Once they saw the fortifications, they ran away. They ran away. Anyway, let's, let's do some clown worlds. Indestructible ping pong table. Indestructible. Alright. Clown worlds. Do we have some clown worlds? We've got 2 clown worlds. 1st clown world has to do with this Sigma Boy song. There was a a German European Parliament member who gave a speech the other day and said that the EU must ban the TikTok song from from an 11 year old and a 12 year old. Russian. Russian girls, 11 12 years old, who put out a TikTok song called Sigma boy, which from what I understand is a patriotic song or something like that. I don't even know. I don't even know what this song is about to be quite honest. But, Germany and perhaps even the EU is looking to ban this song because of its Russian origins. Keep in mind this is a song by an 11 12 year old, girls. A fun song, I take it. A fun song by kids. Oh, that's that's the clown world, I guess. I don't understand this clown world, man. Why do they want to ban this song? Are they losing their freaking minds? Is Germany losing its freaking mind? Anyway, The next clown world. Oh, boy. This clown world has nothing. I don't I well, I I don't wanna say it has nothing to do. I'm not gonna get into the the deportation, right or wrong, agree with Trump, don't agree with Trump. I'm not gonna get into that for this clown world. All I'm going to say is that Selena Gomez had a complete fake, a fake TikTok meltdown. I'm sure everyone has seen it by now where where she is crying and talking about how the deportations are terrible and then she talks about the children being deported and her people being deported. I don't know. She starts crying. I mean, really, really crying in tears about the horrible things that that Trump is doing. And, and this is not a TikTok. So this this actress got a camera or got her phone, set it up, and started crying. This was completely staged. This is a complete setup. It's completely bonkers. Why why actors, why people think it's a good idea to cry on camera? To cry on TikTok? I don't know, But whenever you see someone crying like this on TikTok, especially, Hollywood actress, it is completely fake. Completely fake. I mean, you get your phone ready or your camera ready and you start busting out the tears, and you start talking about how evil Trump is. Whether you agree with Trump or not, this was completely staged. In my opinion, there's nothing real about this. Just my opinion. But, this is who who does this? Who says I'm gonna cry on TikTok for the world to see? I'm gonna take out my camera, set it up right there, and I'm gonna start crying for the world to see it. I don't I don't get it. I don't get it. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this was authentic. Maybe I'm not tapping into Selena Gomez's his authenticity and her her message. I don't know. I don't know. From what I understand, she's loaded, man. I mean, she is loaded. Like worth 1,000,000 and 1,000,000 and 1,000,000. Why do this? I don't get it. These actors. These actors. They are a crazy bunch, aren't they? Very, very crazy. You know, the funniest part to all of this is that the collective west has given 300,000,000,000 plus to one of these crazy actors in Ukraine. That's that's the crazy part to all of this. Anyway, that's the video, the durandoclocals.com. We are on Rumble, Odyssey, Bitchute, Telegram, Rockfin, and X. Go to the Durant shop, pick up some merch like what I'm wearing in this video update. I've got my bomber jacket. I've got a Durant sweatshirt. I think I'm overdressed today because it is kinda warm, but I will see everybody tomorrow. Take care.
