Israel bombed the entrance of Al-Fakhoura School, a designated “safe zone” for children to get the polio vaccine. My friend’s baby nephew, who was scheduled for vaccination today, is now internally bleeding from shrapnel in his spine/lungs. “It’s the same lie & mockery by Israel”

“The need to segregate and not interact with Palestinians is part of Israeli identity. If you’re Palestinian you’re already regarded as a threat to the state.” Israeli activist @ronnie_barkan exposes the system of apartheid & genocide https://t.co/BlPKEt0gVE

Video Transcript AI Summary
I grew up in Israel, where we were indoctrinated from a young age to be soldiers. The conflict is not as complicated as portrayed; it's about those in power oppressing the indigenous people. Israeli identity relies on denying Palestinian identity and culture. After the ethnic cleansing of Palestine, there was mass looting of Palestinian cultural artifacts. Palestinians resist simply by existing on their land and asserting their rights and culture. This resistance is seen as an act of war. Translation: The speaker discusses growing up in Israel and the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, highlighting the oppression of the indigenous people and the denial of Palestinian identity and culture by Israelis. Palestinian resistance through existence and cultural expression is emphasized.

Speaker 0: Like anyone growing up in Israel, I went through the whole indoctrination mechanism. And we are being trained to be soldiers from kindergarten, Literally from kindergarten. The moment I realized, I I managed to sort of overcome that indoctrination, then everything became very clear because the situation is crystal clear. One of the main successes of Israeli propaganda is to convince the world that the situation is complicated. But it's far from being complicated. It's probably the least complicated conflict in the world today. And and it's all about basically those who have the power, those who oppress and subjugate and and, trade over the indigenous people of land who have been oppressed and subjugated and expelled from their land. And this is what it's about. The situation here is not very different other than the way it is perceived in the world and among Israeli society themselves. They'd like to perceive themselves as some being something else. As being, you know, liberal and progressive and all of that. And I also thought of myself as such until I realized that actually, you know, this is not the case. The case is very clear and I'm not on the right side of history. And, and that's when, you know, with what I managed to overcome this type of brainwashing, then the rest was very easy. The service was all about creating a place which is for one select group and only that. It's not only the fact that they wanted to take over, to you serve the land and the resources and all of that. It's also about this exclusive nature of the place that this is ours and only ours. And even any any Palestinian being born in Israel, even even if they're Israeli citizens, is already regarded as some sort of a threat to the state. The need to segregate, the need to separate and not to interact with Palestinians is part of Israeli identity. So we have to understand that Israeli identity depends on denying Palestinian identity and denying either the existence of Palestinians altogether or very least denying their, identity, their culture, and so on. And also, right after the ethnic cleansing of Palestine, right after the Palestinians were expelled from their homes and became refugees, the very next thing that happened was that there was a concerted effort of mass looting of books and other cultural artifacts from Palestinian homes, which was led by the, national library in Israel. So so it's for a reason that when we say existence is resistance for Palestinians, this is true. Just by very existing on their land, this is an act of resistance in itself. Even more so when they actually claim their rights, claim their identity, do culture work or like produce Palestinian culture, that is an act of war.

I keep thinking how crazy it would be if an Arab country kept 2.3 million Jewish people in a cage, half children, cut off their electricity & water then indiscriminately bombed them. Beyond comprehension the anti-Muslim bigotry that makes the world applaud this as justified

Israeli soldiers attacked peaceful protesters in the US with chemical weapons. Feels like this should be a bigger story.

@ColumbiaSJP - Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine

Two Columbia University students, both IOF soldiers, sprayed a chemical weapon on peaceful protesters. Skunk spray is used on Palestinians in the West Bank by the Israeli occupation. It is known to cause nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting. @Columbia must take action. https://t.co/Sx3MYHkjbw

Now that Israeli & US officials have pivoted from sheer retaliation to their old “human shields” excuse, I debunk that argument in 5 points [published during last Gaza onslaught]. Point 1: Israel provides no evidence

Video Transcript AI Summary
Israel has failed to provide evidence of human shields, relying instead on photoshopped images and fake videos. Despite their advanced surveillance technology, all they have offered are cartoons and manipulated graphics. For instance, they shared a video of an Israeli training operation but falsely claimed it was a Hamas missile launcher near civilians. Another misleading video was tweeted by Netanyahu's spokesman, which turned out to be from 2018 in Syria. Without concrete evidence, their claims should be investigated and brought to trial. Even if Israel was targeting legitimate military sites, it is still illegal to cause such a high number of civilian casualties or destroy hospitals. Israel should not be exempt from the law.

Speaker 0: Point 1. Israel provides no evidence that there are human shields. So far, the best they can do is share these photoshopped images. See, the building is red. That means Hamas is there. You know, for all of Israel's sophisticated surveillance technology with eyes over every single inch of Gaza. You'd think that they'd be able to produce more than cartoons and doctored graphics. In fact, the only proof they have provided so far are fake videos of Hamas rockets in residential areas. On May 15th, The IDF published a video of an Israeli training operation using a Hamas decoy, but claimed it was an actual Hamas missile launcher near civilians. In another lie, Netanyahu's spokesman tweeted a video claiming it was Hamas firing rockets next to an apartment building. Turns out, this was a video from 2018 in Syria. So where's the actual evidence? If they cannot provide any, their claims must be investigated and brought to a trial. Even if there was evidence that Israel was hitting legitimate military targets, It still is illegal to kill such an outrageous amount of civilians. And you can't legally blow up a hospital even if there are militants nearby. Either way, Israel should not be allowed to be above the law.
