It was the first time that we, heard publicly from, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis since last week's court filing, accusing her of hiring a an an underqualified romantic partner, and then paying him more than $650,000 to help her prosecute former president Trump and 18 co defendants in the Georgia election tampering case. She was speaking at a Sunday MLK tribute at Atlanta's Big Bethel AME Church. Fani Willis did not address the alleged affair, but she described special prosecutor Nathan Wade Wade aid as highly qualified and implied that he is being targeted because of his race. I appointed 3 special Counselors is my right to do. Pay them all the same hourly rate. They don't need any type 1. The motion was filed on behalf of co defendant Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign official who's seeking to qualify Willis and Wade from prosecuting the Georgia election case. Roman's attorney, Ashley Merchant, issued this statement. If anybody doubts our claim that Wade is inexperienced. Ask him how many RICO cases he has handled. Ask him how many felonies he has tried. This has nothing to do with the color of his skin. Merchant went on to say the biggest difference between Wade and the other 2 special prosecutors on the Trump case, Anna Green Cross and John Floyd is that quote, miss Willis is not in a relationship with miss Cross and mister Floyd.
