Speaker 0: It has grown very quickly. Have to shape that conversation. And that requires us actually to have conversations with the MAGA right. You know, interviewed James Bell, who's a Catholic MAGA supporter, who wanted to go and fight the Iraq war at one stage in his life. I interviewed him and, you know, he told me that he can't now find a single person in his peer group under the age of 40 that supports Israel. There is a shift Speaker 1: in It's the seismic shift. It's been a huge shift because ultimately this this is a constituency of support which Israel and the Zionist lobby have always relied on for decades. Yeah. And now not only are they questioning the proximity of their respective governments with Israel but they're actually literally calling it out and even going beyond and actually sometimes, sometimes delving into type of anti semitic tropes. I mean that's how loud and proud this kind of element within the MAGA movement has become. So when are you planning on having your next MAGA guest on then? Speaker 0: No we're trying to get you know some MAGA guests on and more importantly in terms of like Dawah, you know, I was encouraged in the Muslim community there to go and visit these areas, you know, go to the Deep South, have conversations. You know, there's Doctor Bilal Paracha, he just came back from Gaza, Mashallah, the guy's a force of nature and Doctor. Bilal has been doing that just as an individual, he's been interacting, he's a doctor in an emergency ward, interacts with a lot of these people and he recognizes the importance of engaging with these MAGA supporters. And by the way, he tells me is that the majority of time, these people haven't interacted with Muslims. And so when you engage with them, but because they're not like the progressive left, many of whom have this deep Islamophobia, and they've got this fixed sort of like, why is it Muslims don't conform to our progressive values? When it comes to like values, there is a similarity there, right? I'm not saying there's an, you know, we're the same, but there's a similarity there. And actually on a personal level, they're actually very polite. A lot of them are very polite and very, very amenable to the Muslim community. So, you know, I met with a group of converts there who are in Texas. And, you know, my argument to them is that you need to drive this, have conversations, go and visit them, go to their town halls, go to their church spaces, go to their bazaars and start to engage with them as Muslims right. I think that's important because we can shape this movement. Speaker 1: The strategy should be similar here as well. Mean obviously MAGA is far more prominent and it'd be more impactful. MAGA has three strands, it has a white ethno nationalist strand which is very anti Israel, dare I say at times anti Semitic Which Speaker 0: we've got a problem with Speaker 1: Which there is a problem with and of course in terms of foreign policy, very non interventionist, they were very outspoken against Iran and so Then you've got the very pro Israel element of MAGA, which I would say at the moment are the ones who are whispering in the ears of Trump and other policy adviser, your Vance, your Hegsworth and these kind of guys and then within and then the third strand would be somewhere in between that whereby there is a healthy level of skepticism towards Israel but at the same time they understand that there is still a civilisational proximity between Christian, Judeo civilization and so forth. So I think there is that Speaker 0: middle ground we've got to appeal to. Speaker 1: It's that middle ground we need to appeal to and I think they exist. Speaker 0: They do exist and we'd be surprised how many of them there are and how courteous the conversation, how civil the conversation can be with these people And so if Dawah means anything today see, for me, like, elections are just they're one thing we should be doing. Like, you know, if anyone gets the impression from our conversation today that elections are somehow the gold standard of the work we should be doing in in Western countries. I think, you know, one should we would be mistaken to believe that. It's about all of this because ultimately what one to do is shape public opinion in our favor. So we've got to be active. I think as a community, we've got to be very active and we've got to allocate resources. It's down to that. That's why I'm stubbornly not answering that question you have it. It's about allocating resources. If you ask me what should a group of Texan converts be doing at this moment, they shouldn't be engaged in elections, like why waste their time on electoral politics? Speaker 1: And it'll differ to another state or another They Speaker 0: should be going to meet the right wingers and actually do probably like this is dhat work, this is public opinion making, this is change in perceptions, one conversation at a time. We've got to be active and I think we're fighting that within our communities at the moment, sort of feeling of what can we do and it is dispiritedness that exists and I think we have to change that. Speaker 1: I don't think anyone in the MAGA movement though would echo what you said on this podcast fifteen months ago when you said that we need American hegemony to rescind around the world. Speaker 0: No they do, oh no no no, oh wow wow wait a minute wait a minute, you just listened to Tucker Carlson recently, Tucker Carlson interviewed our own, I can't remember the surname now, from Florida and I was surprised at how open they were discussing how America needs to stop being an empire and how America needs to not think about itself and think about itself as a country that has its own interests and doesn't have this sort of globalist foreign policy. Speaker 1: But the strength of the and this is my problem with that kind of strand and I want to get your thoughts on this, call for that but a strong stable America will still rely heavily on the economic enslavement of other countries, maybe not the military, maybe not walls, not the military industrial complex but there's other types of type of enslavement which exists and sometimes they miss that bit out. Speaker 0: No, get that, you know, by the way I'm not saying that the MAGA movement is going to be like a 100% in conformity with the values that we believe in, What I'm saying is that there are ideas within the MAGA movement that need to be shaped. And certainly the anti Israel, anti Zionism strand has to directed and the anti Islamophobia or the islamophobic strand needs to be directed. But the way that modern technology is moving is that we now have the ability to generate soft power from within civil society. And from decentralised means. And that's why Ashraf Motivala's GEM Summit is really interested in here, by the way, what he's trying to do. Because he wrote a paper, which is on the Joaquin website, about soft power and why soft power is important. And the point he makes is that civil society, we can't wait for governments, just our Muslim community, we have the expertise, we have the people, what we're not doing at the moment is collaborating with one another on projects. So our media people aren't collaborating, our tech industries aren't collaborating. And so his idea is simple, get everyone into a room, get these people into a room and get them to start collaborating and get the money men, the capital within our community to back it. That's really what we need as a Muslim community. And I think it's a really interesting idea. And everyone I speak to now tells me that we're just not speak we're not having these conversations as a community with one another around the world. You know, there are Nigerian Muslims who are who are amazing tech entrepreneurs and they're not speaking to tech Muslims in Silicon Valley and they're not speaking to British Muslims and they need to interface with one another. You've got educationalists. That's one of the things I do now. Every time I meet someone, like I went to a Muslim school in Canada and straight away, I was doing some amazing work actually, really like one of the best Muslim schools I've seen in the world actually. Speaker 1: Where in Canada? Speaker 0: It was in Toronto, really amazing work they were doing. And so the straight thing I did is, okay, take this number of a sister who runs an Islamic school here and you guys, if you can start collaborating with one another because you're probably going through the same problems and challenges and together you can work together to achieve greater success.

Noah Mullins, Turning Point chapter president at Grand Valley State University, called out Dearborn's leadership, exposing how the city honored Osama Siblani, a known terrorist sympathizer, with the street sign. Osama Sublani is a terrorist sympathizer, full stop. I speak on behalf of Americans everywhere when I say that renaming the corner of Warren Avenue and Chase to honor this individual stands against everything this great country represents. Americans do not stand by silently when Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists slaughter innocent men, women, and children. Neither does mister Soblani. But instead of denouncing these terrorist organizations like Americans should, he describes Hamas as freedom fighters and describes the former leader of Hezbollah as a hero. I was born in this city and I no longer recognize my beloved Dearborn. On September 9, Mayor Humoud decided to add insult to injury and rebuke a Dearborn resident who brought to light this very issue. Mayor, know that your rebuke of me will fail to make me yield and that you have revealed your true nature to all of us. As if these two events weren't enough, the city has also decided to not enforce their own noise ordinances by allowing the Islamic call to prayer from local mosque at times as early as 05:30AM. Men and women across America are waking up to the state of our city and all eyes are on Dearborn. I'm a 22 year old man, but I am willing to give all of myself and even my life to the defense of my land, my people, my lord, and my future wife and children. Speaker 0: Then came Ryan Worsniak, another Turning Point member who warned what happens when nations suppress free speech. He said, branding criticism as hate is the first step towards tyranny. And he's right. Speaker 4: The mayor has previously scolded concerned residents and told them to leave the city while in the same breath implying that he is the arbiter of peaceful coexistence. I understand that he very he identifies very passionately with the culture of the land he descends from, but he is not there. America became the country all of our ancestors chose to leave their home cultures for because we Americans did not just peacefully coexist, but because we assimilated and became one. Decrying any criticism towards your choices as hateful is not only counterproductive, but entirely wrong. Americans quarrel with words so we do not need to resort to violence because we care enough about our neighbors to give peace a chance. By deflecting any criticism of your choices using meaningless buzzwords like Islamophobia, it robs us all of the opportunity to peacefully change the other's mind. If the broader Muslim population in America does not start to act like Americans, not just Muslims in America, our children will shed blood because the egos of Islamic leaders like mayor Hamud are so large they refuse to consider that they can possibly be wrong. Speaker 0: These young men are walking in Charlie Kirk's footsteps, refusing to back down for truth and standing up for America. And somewhere, Charlie is smiling, knowing his courage lit a fire that cannot be put out. Beyar Hamud's arrogance should shock no one. Dearborn is roughly 60% Muslim, and nearly all of the city's top positions are held by Muslims. Mayor Abdullah Hamud, his rival Nagi al Muthegi, Police Chief Isa Shaheen, Patrol Commander Maju Baazi, Public Health Director, Ali Abazid Chief of Staff, Zanib Hussein and Council Members, Kamal al Sawafi and Mustafa Hamud. With this unprecedented religious monopoly, the mayor no longer hides his disdain for Dearborn's remaining minorities, now mostly white, Christian and non Muslim Americans. What's happening in Dearborn is not unique. It's a warning. If Americans don't get involved at the local level, at your city councils, your school boards, your zoning meetings, this will become the story of your town, your county, and eventually your nation. It's so that I don't have to worry about my property. But you go to a place where you lose your hand. Like for instance, any of you been to Saudi, been to the Haramain, Mecca and Medina. Nobody's gonna steal anything. Why? Because you will lose your hand over it. And if you're in Medina, they don't have to take you very far because the Sharia court is right next to Masjid Naboohi. They don't have to take you very far. You will lose your hand. So the deterrent is there. The deterrent is there. And you know how many cases of recidivism? Anyone know what recidivism is? Means the person repeating the same crime. Do you know what the cases of recidivism, statistics of percentage of recidivism is for theft in a country where they will lose your hand for it? Because justice is not in the eyes of the beholder because justice then would be very different from place to place, from time to time. Justice in Islam is dictated by the creator. Speaker 1: And when it comes to laws of crimes and punishment, religion Islam is known as laws of crime and punishment Islam is legislated by the creator. But when it comes to things such as cutting off the hands of the thief who meets all of the requirements, it is put by the creator as a deterrent. But if you find places where a good bit of it is implemented, you find security and tranquility. You find a very low recidivism rate of crime. You only got a certain number of hands to give out. Refer to the sheikh. Someone who accuses someone of adultery with a false accusation and they've come to found out to be false. Lashes. Correct? 80 lashes. That's what I thought. Someone accuses someone of adultery wrongly and they find out that it's wrong, that person gets punished with 80 lashes. And his witness And his witness is never accepted ever again for anything. Nothing whatsoever. That's how severe Islam is about that. You don't make a It's not allowed in Islam for a man and a woman to shake hands if they are not related in a prohibitory manner. What I mean is related in a prohibitory manner is mean they cannot be married. Like a mother and a father and mother. You cannot marry father and mother, your sister, your brother, your uncles, your your you know, things of this nature, aunts. And people whom you cannot marry in Islam, you can shake hands with them, and you can be a little bit more loose with them. But anyone whom you can marry and would have the opportunity to marry, you're not allowed to touch them. Woman in Islam. One of the logics behind that is the number of men and women. If one man married one woman in the world, how many women would be left over? A lot. A whole lot of women would be left over. What are those women going to do? They're going to either be single, they're going to commit some weird acts, which we see a lot of women committing. But there would be women who would have no family. They would lose their family, they would lose the opportunity to have family, to have children, things of that nature. And that's only increasing. Women are increasing, men are decreasing. Some of the logic behind that, God has allowed man to have more than one wife for logic reasons. But but but there are rules within that in Islam. For a man to take another wife, he must do so justly. Meaning that the second wife that he takes, the third wife that he takes, the fourth wife that he takes, he must treat them exactly the same. Exactly the same. He must treat them exactly the same. They must be given the same love and affection. And for a man to be able to do that justly is very tough. Speaker 2: For example, if somebody was said to have his hand cut off, do they even get a chance to change or redeem themselves and try to be a better person despite how bad the crime was? Speaker 1: Okay. Do they have the right like, for instance, someone commits a crime that is worthy of having their hand cut off? All the rulings are applicable. Do they have the right to say, I'm sorry. I won't do it again? No. They have there is a right for reform, but if they are meet all the requirements, their hand will be taken off, and then they have the right to reform. Then they have the right to reform, but the punishment's gonna be there because if you had that type of punishment, I won't do it again. That is a system that we see will not work. We've seen that system played out here in America. And if you do it once, that really is not gonna tempt you again. I have one Well, you wouldn't lose the second hand, you lose a foot from the opposite arm. So you're gonna lose a hand and then a foot, you're gonna be lopsided, and then you steal again, gonna lose another foot. So it becomes a very big deterrent. You know, and it's it's it's funny, but it's it's real. It's it's not a joke. You lose a hand, you start to think twice about taking something else. So Speaker 3: Why did I decide to get involved in building a project like Mashid Salah Hadim? When I first moved back to Dallas, Texas, 1 of my intentions was to get involved myself and my family into one of the most vibrant Muslim communities that I found in America and be helpful in in any way that I can in terms of the dawah and Speaker 1: the youth and all of Speaker 3: the things that I've been doing for the past twenty years. And when I sat down with the brothers who were interested in this project and interested in building this project and I understood their vision was in line with my vision. They wanted to have a focus on dawah. They wanted to have a focus on youth. They wanted to have a focus on inclusivity, meaning that we're open to to the larger Muslim community. That to me just it it hit every point with me. And I said, look, this is something I can get behind. This is something I can build. This is something that can be a legacy for what I've been doing all over the globe for the past twenty years. I can do it locally where I live and start something that maybe inshallah will be a means of for me on the on the day of judgment when I'm gonna need it the most. And so that's why I've gotten involved in the project. And that's why I think you should get involved in the project because if you get involved in the project, then you share in all the rewards of everything that happens in this building. Everything that will ever happen in this building. Every salah that will be prayed in this building. Every person that comes to Islam because of the dawah coming out of this building. Every youth that grows up learning the deen and becomes strong, a strong Muslim goes on to be a future imam or a future or whatever have you. Every single one of those good deeds will go on your scale. Will go on your scale and this is that you will need on the day of judgment. So this is the most important reason why I got involved in this is that I know that one day my life will come to an end and I'm going to need as much good deeds as I can to suffice me on the day when I stand in front of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Speaker 0: I'm a Josephine resident. I live in the city, but the proposed site is just a couple miles from my home, from our neighborhood. Our neighborhood has been listening to their videos trying to recruit people to purchase and invest for quite a while now, many, many months. One of the first videos we heard said that they wanted to install a loud system, a speaker system that would blast their music to call them to prayer. And they could do it as loud as they wanted to because they specifically chose a site just outside of the city so they could do that. My question is, why do they have to build a compound? We were told to not use our water and wait for the water to replenish so we could turn our water back on. So we had that issue. Not to mention, I grew up in Michigan. I saw what happened to Dearborn, Michigan. I know what goes on in Dearborn, Michigan. It was labeled the jihad of America. Now we have Patterson, New Jersey, which is the Palestine Of America. If this community is trying cater to the Muslim population, I, as a practicing Christian who has Jewish blood, if I wanted to fly a flag that is in protest, a banner in protest of Hamas, do I need to fear for myself because of this compound that is nearby? These are the true fears that are happening in our community. My question is, why do they have to build a compound? Why something of that magnitude? Why are they hiding from us? We welcome them to become our neighbors, go to our schools. The other question is, are they schools. The other question is, are they gonna be hiding behind their mosque and have tax exemption for this entire compound? Because it might be owned by the mosque, and then they, I don't know, give the property out to their folks. That's another question that we have is that, are they going to be doing this to evade paying taxes because of that tax exemption? So as a resident, that's only a couple minutes. Speaker 0: McKinney is fast growing. It's the big highway, we call it, one way from Jersey to Texas. This community started in a tire shop. A lot of our community is actually less than three years or less. How open and welcoming across the DFW Masjid people have been. A lot of money that's going to be poured into McKinney. I think it's a great opportunity to become the next big masjid inshaAllah. My name is Tahar Khan. I am a McKinney resident and part of the johra and the executive board here as a vice mayor, one of six people that run the affairs of the masjid, preserve them. In 1997 is what I'm told, this community started an entire shock. Our elders at the time saw a need to get maybe ten, fifteen, 20 people together for jumma. Lo and behold, one of our elders who owned a garage at the time said, Look, this shop for this time to this time, I'm going to clear out and this is going to be our jumma space. And it was literally behind a tire shop. And that was 1997. And as, alhamdulillah, Muslims are, we started flocking and 10 became twenty, twenty became 40. And a couple of years later, the community moved into a one story basement building not too far from here in this current masjid. When we thought that could sustain the community, alhamdulillah, that was several good years until the community saw massive growth again. This was a 2012 project you're standing right now in this masjid. This was built in 2012 with the hopes that this will sustain for a long And it's only been eleven years, but the growth of the community has been exponential. And we are at the moment at three Jum'ahs in this masjid that are all packed. So we have well over 1,100 people that are attending Jum'ahs every Friday. Quite a show that we have to manage logistics in a limited space. So we have a land that we have purchased now, alhamdulillah. Our elders have guided us to that, almost a five and a half acre land. It is paid off, but our next big project is to build that new masjid. It's about six minutes from here in McKinney. We are very excited for the project. Plan is for hopefully over 40,000 square feet of space. Like I said, we're thinking big because McKinney will be big. McKinney is fast growing. It is the fourth fastest growing city in The United States at the moment. So we have a ton of new families, young families with kids who are here for decades, so looking ahead at decades, InshaAllah. So our goal now is to establish this community, InshaAllah, for that purpose and to grow it as much as we can. We see a lot of Jersey, New York, Chicago, California, Seattle, you know, from pretty much the coastal areas and the Chicago area that have made Dallas their new home. McKinney is now on the cusp of massive explosive growth. McKinney sits right in the center of main established areas. People are familiar with Plano. Allen is up and coming. We're familiar with Frisco. But then you have sort of this whole growth towards the Northeast Of Dallas, which is completely unexplored. And there's a lot of land where people are building homes and a massive vision to commercialize the district as well in McKinney's. I'm masjid, Inshallah, because we'll have a large population to cater to in just a few years. Majority of people that are coming in, the Mus'alin, the brothers and sisters, are very much in their late 20s, early 30s, maybe even 40s for sure. So you see that dynamic that is raising it gets tight. Our need probably at the moment is, at any given time, more than 1,000 to 1,100 people. So that's why we have to split a lot of our sites. That's right now, but every day, thousands of Muslims are moving to 100%. The migration rate is, I can't quote your numbers, but it's pretty astronomical. And so I wouldn't be surprised someday where we're looking at 1,500 at one time that we need to cater to. Talking to the architect, we've already started that in terms of the direction for the Qibla and all of that. So you can see that that's how it's positioned, alhamdulillah. And then if you wanted to take quick peek at the floor plans we have a gym. So that gym alone I think it's about 15,000 square feet or 10 to 15, that's quite large. When are you expecting it? We are working in phases, four to five years we're in the new building inshaAllah. So right now it's very early to say. But main ask and call for help is around funding. And that's really what we're looking at. I think we've spoken a fair bit about the need for a strong Muslim community in this area. We have tons of Muslims moving in. Many of the Muslims, unfortunately, were not able to accommodate a lot of people because of parking issues. Forty forty five spots is nothing. We are constantly running in to some issues, and you can say friction with our surrounding neighbors where, you know, parking, especially for Juma and for our events where we are inviting, you know, alhamdulillah, the Shi'uk of the area to educate the community. People want to come. When we have to make people walk ten, fifteen minutes, twenty minutes from a parking spot, it really turns people off. And so we want to accommodate our seniors, our elders, our fathers and mothers and youth, InshaAllah. And the biggest appeal is whatever you can do to contribute towards the house of Allah I can say this with a fair bit of confidence. This masjid, this new masjid will continue to serve a very fast growing community for decades and decades to come. This is not a few years we're thinking. We're thinking fifty, sixty years down the line. When my kids and your kids are leading the community, what do they have at their disposal? And so our elders gave us this to stand on. We want to multiply this ten, twenty times and give it to our kids to to lead, in the Muslim community in the future. So we're looking at a a couple million project at least, and but it all starts with small baby steps. So consistent but but regular. And and if I can share a hadith of the prophet he advised the sahaba that indeed the most beloved of actions to Allah are those that are consistent even if they're small. The establishment of Sharia is a fundamental objective of every Islamic terror group and religious Muslim. Once an Islamic state is in place, the Quran (9:29) and Sharia (o9.8) make it mandatory for Muslims to fight those Jews and Christians who will not convert or accept inferior (Dhimmi) status. This reality is left out by proponents of Sharia in the West, who hide behind the cloak of religion and expose only the more benign personal rules (such as those dealing with prayer and hygiene). This is to make it appear as if those with legitimate concerns are religious bigots whose real problem is intolerance for a different set of beliefs about God and worship. In fact, Sharia is explicitly opposed to religious freedom, freedom of conscience, and the free exchange of ideas. It is violent, openly bigoted toward non-Muslims, discriminatory, and unflinchingly sexist. Large sections deal with the practice of slavery. None of this changes by affixing a “phobia” label or otherwise insulting detractors. Remember, the goal of these Jihadis is the exact same goal of the Jihadis in the West: they want to implement an Islamic caliphate where Islamic Law (Sharia) rules. Meanwhile, Western nations continue to import migrants from Syrian and other Islamic nations who are coming to our countries with the religious goal of implementing Islamic Law (Sharia). As we have seen in Germany for the past several weekends, hordes of Muslims have been marching through the streets and holding rallies, openly telling the West their goal is to implement Sharia (see here and here). Instead of heeding the warning, our media and governments are busy pretending that these are “just extremists.” However, these are religious Muslims who are making their Islamic duties quite clear.
