ICE says Marvin Morales-Ortez, a Salvadoran national, killed a man in Reston hours after being released from Fairfax County jail a day earlier, despite an ICE detainer. He had faced gun/assault charges; the case was dropped, with an emergency custody order sought for mental health concerns. ICE blames the county for the release. Responses note VA Red Flag law, a governor’s executive order to cooperate with ICE, and the sheriff’s role.

NEW: ICE confirms that a murder suspect arrested for shooting & killing a man in Reston, VA yesterday is a Salvadoran illegal alien who had just been released from the Fairfax County, VA jail the day beforehand with ICE's detainer request ignored. 23-year-old Marvin Morales-Ortez, a citizen of El Salvador, was arrested yesterday following a manhunt after a man was found shot & killed inside of a home in Reston, VA. Morales-Ortez had been in Fairfax County jail while facing charges for brandishing a gun and assaulting & inuring someone, but he was released on Tuesday when the case was dropped. ICE says their detainer to transfer him to their custody was ignored by Fairfax County. After his release on Tuesday, Fairfax County Police say that an emergency custody order was obtained for Morales-Ortez due to mental health/danger concerns. They looked for him to take him into custody, but they were unable to find him. He is accused of committing the murder just hours later. Morales has a prior rap sheet showing he’s been charged with at least seven crimes in Fairfax County since 2020. ICE statement: “On December 17th, Marvin Fernando Morales-Ortez, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador with prior criminal charges for assaulting law enforcement/first responders allegedly gunned down a Virginia resident in Reston, Virginia. Fairfax County FAILED the victim by refusing to work with ICE and releasing this criminal alien onto Virginia streets instead of safely into ICE custody. If Fairfax County would have simply worked to uphold our nation’s laws, then this tragedy may have never happened.”

Today, ICE arrested Dr. Ian Andre Roberts, the Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools, for being an illegal alien from Guyana with a deportation order since May 2024. After fleeing from ICE agents, he was found nearby with a loaded Glock 19, a fixed blade knife, and $3,000 in cash in his abandoned vehicle. Roberts, who entered the U.S. in 1999 on a student visa, has a prior weapons charge from 2020. The investigation into how he obtained the firearm is being handed over to the ATF.

BREAKING: A senior ICE official tells @FoxNews that today, ICE arrested the Superintendent of Des Moines, Iowa Public Schools, Dr. Ian Andre Roberts, who ICE says is an illegal alien from Guyana & and active ICE fugitive with a deportation order since May 2024. Fox is told Dr. Roberts fled from ICE agents in his car once they ID’d themselves as immigration agents, speeding away, then abandoning the car. He was found in a brushy area 200 yards away with the help of an Iowa State Police K9. Per ICE official, agents found a loaded gun, a “fixed blade hunting knife”, and $3,000 cash in Dr. Robert’s vehicle. Per senior ICE official, Roberts first entered the U.S. in 1999 on a F-1 student visa at St. John’s University was ordered removed from the United States on May 22, 2024, with proceedings being held in absentia.  On April 24, 2025, an Immigration Judge in Dallas, TX denied a Motion to Reopen his immigration case. Fox is told Dr. Roberts also has a weapons arrest in 2020, though the disposition of that charge/case is currently unclear. More details as they come… (Mugshot is from prior arrest).

NEW: ICE press release & arrest photo below 👇🏻 ICE arrests criminal alien serving as Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent; prior weapons charges and in possession of loaded handgun at time of arrest   “ICE Des Moines today arrested Ian Andre Roberts, a criminal illegal alien from Guyana in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a fixed blade hunting knife. At the time of his arrest Roberts was working as the Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools despite being an illegal alien with a final order of removal and no work authorization.   During a targeted enforcement operation on Sept. 26, 2025, officers approached Roberts in his vehicle after identifying himself, but he sped away. Officers later discovered his vehicle abandoned near a wooded area. State Patrol assisted in locating the subject and he was taken into ICE custody.                                                      Roberts has existing weapon possession charges from February 5, 2020. Roberts entered the United States in 1999 on a student visa and was given a final order of removal by an immigration judge in May of 2024.  The investigation into how Roberts acquired the handgun is being turned over to the ATF. It is a violation of federal law for those in the U.S. without legal status to possess a firearm and ammunition.    “This suspect was arrested in possession of a loaded weapon in a vehicle provided by Des Moines Public Schools after fleeing federal law enforcement,” said ICE ERO St. Paul Field Office Director Sam Olson. “This should be a wake-up call for our communities to the great work that our officers are doing every day to remove public safety threats. How this illegal alien was hired without work authorization, a final order of removal, and a prior weapons charge is beyond comprehension and should alarm the parents of that school district.”   ICE is grateful for the assistance of the Iowa State Patrol in apprehending this subject.”

I learned that a drunk driver, Edwin Cruz-Gomez, was arrested for the murder of a 16-year-old girl, Jhoanny Gomez-Alvarez, after he hit her with his vehicle following a confrontation. Cruz-Gomez, a previously deported Honduran illegal alien with multiple DUI arrests, had been ignored by ICE after a prior arrest due to the current administration's enforcement priorities. He was last deported in 2005 and had DUI incidents in 2013 and January 2023. ICE has now filed a detainer on him due to the murder charges.

BREAKING: Per ICE sources, the drunk driver arrested by NYPD for murder on Saturday after he fatally mowed down a 16-year-old girl who rejected his sexual advances is a previously deported Honduran illegal alien w/ multiple prior DUI arrests. I’m told he was also ignored by ICE after an October 2024 arrest for possession of a forged instrument because the Biden administration didn’t consider him an immigration enforcement priority. I’m told EDWIN CRUZ-GOMEZ was last deported in 2005 and has DUI arrests on Long Island in 2013 & again in January of this year. He was released before ICE could lodge a detainer. ICE has now filed a detainer on him with local authorities in NY for his murder charges. Police say he drunkenly plowed a 2009 Chevy Suburban into teen Jhoanny Gomez-Alvarez following a heated fight with the girl, her boyfriend, her mother and the mother’s friend Saturday morning outside an Elmhurst bar. Gomez-Alvarez was pinned against a pillar and died. Her mother survived.

I announced a significant ICE operation in Boston and nearby areas, resulting in 370 arrests of illegal aliens, many of whom are criminals, including murderers and drug traffickers. I criticized Governor Healy and Mayor Wu for their sanctuary policies, which I believe jeopardize public safety.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

BREAKING: Tom Homan announces a massive ICE operation in Boston & surrounding areas that netted 370 arrests of illegal aliens, a majority of which were criminals, including murderers, drug traffickers, & child sexual predators. "Governor Healy and Mayor Wu should be ashamed of supporting sanctuary policies," Homan says. "Releasing public safety threats back into the public, rather than working with ICE at the jails, puts the public at great risk."

@RealTomHoman - Thomas D. Homan

I made a promise at CPAC that I was going to Boston after reading about numerous illegal alien child rapists walking the streets of Boston and Massachusetts. ICE had to find and arrest these illegal alien rapists because Massachusetts and Boston are sanctuaries that refuse to cooperate with ICE. They would rather release these animals back into the community rather than honor ICE detainers or notify ICE when they are scheduled to be released. Mayor Chu later testified that I was lying. Well, I traveled to Boston last Tuesday, as promised, and we kicked off a five day operation with ICE, FBI, ATF, DEA, US Marshals and DSS. These incredible men and women arrested a total of 370 Illegal aliens in Boston and surrounding areas. A majority of the 370 being significant criminals. These arrests included 6 foreign fugitives, including four who were wanted for murder or to serve a criminal sentence for murder, along with drug traffickers, child sexual predators and numerous other violent public safety threats. These officers and agents made the neighborhoods of Boston and Massachusetts much safer. They risked their own safety by arresting these criminals on the street, rather than a jail. Governor Healy and Mayor Wu should be ashamed of supporting sanctuary policies. Releasing public safety threats back into the public, rather than working with ICE at the jails, puts the public at great risk. President Trump’s "all of government effort" to arrest and remove the WORST FiRST is making our communities safer every day. President Trump is a Game Changer who is keeping his promises to the American people. Much more to do, but it will be done! ~ Thomas D. Homan U.S. Border Czar

I shared that ICE confirmed the arrest of Jeanette Vizguerra, a Mexican illegal immigrant and immigration activist, who has a final deportation order. Despite claims from Colorado politicians that she lacked due process, ICE stated she has had multiple opportunities to contest her removal. Vizguerra has a history of criminal convictions and previously sought sanctuary in a church to avoid deportation. Comments from local leaders framed her arrest as political persecution, while a former ICE official expressed frustration over her prolonged stay in the U.S.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

NEW: ICE confirms to @FoxNews that they arrested Jeanette Vizguerra, a convicted criminal Mexican illegal alien & immigration activist, in Aurora, CO yesterday. ICE confirms she has a final order of removal (deportation order) via a DOJ immigration judge, and has repeatedly had due process, including multiple stays of deportation. She notoriously hid in a Denver church for years to avoid deportation, and she has remained an immigration fugitive. Despite having a final order of removal stretching back to the Obama administration, several Democrat politicians in Colorado falsely claimed today that Vizguerra has had no due process, including Denver Mayor @MikeJohnstonCO, who called her arrest a “Putin-style persecution of a political dissident”, and Senator @MichaelBennet, who claimed ICE detained her “without any due process, like a deportation order.” ICE confirms she does, in fact, have a deportation order, and has had one for years. Below is the background & criminal history on Vizguerra up until 2019, according to ICE:   •On Feb. 5, 2009, the ICE Denver office lodged an immigration detainer on Vizguerra-Ramirez.   •On Feb. 26, 2009, the Arapahoe County Court, Centennial, Colorado, convicted Vizguerra-Ramirez of forged instrument possession 2nd degree, and sentenced her to a term of 23 days in jail.    •On Feb. 27, 2009, ICE took custody of Vizguerra-Ramirez from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office pursuant to an immigration detainer.   •On March 11, 2009, Vizguerra-Ramirez was released from ICE custody after posting an immigration bond.   •On March 27, 2009, Arapahoe County Court convicted Vizguerra-Ramirez of failure to display proof of insurance and driving without a license and ordered her to pay fines.   •On Nov. 18, 2011, a federal immigration judge denied Vizguerra-Ramirez her application for relief from immigration proceedings, but granted her a voluntary departure (considered an immigration benefit). She failed to depart the U.S. per the terms of the order within the 60-day window and instead filed an appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) on Dec. 16, 2011.   •On Sept. 8, 2012, Vizguerra-Ramirez self-removed to Mexico.   •On April 22, 2013, U.S. Border Patrol arrested Vizguerra-Ramirez in Candelaria, Texas, after she illegally returned to the U.S., and referred her case for federal prosecution for illegal re-entry after removal (a felony).    •On May 1, 2013, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Pecos Division, convicted Vizguerra-Ramirez of illegal entry (a misdemeanor), and sentenced her to one year of unsupervised probation.   •On May 2, 2013, Vizguerra-Ramirez entered ICE custody in El Paso, Texas, where her prior removal order was reinstated, pending her Dec. 16, 2011, BIA appeal.   •On May 30, 2013, the BIA considered Vizguerra-Ramirez’s case withdrawn because she departed the U.S. prior to a decision being made on her appeal.   •On June 7, 2013, ICE in El Paso released Vizguerra-Ramirez on an order of supervision because under policy at the time she did not meet the agency’s priorities for removal.   •On July 2, 2014, ICE granted Vizguerra-Ramirez’s application for stay of deportation until Feb. 1, 2015.    •On Feb. 20, 2015, ICE in Denver granted Vizguerra application for stay of deportation until Aug. 19, 2015.   •On Feb. 15, 2017, ERO Denver denied another application for stay of deportation. Her counsel notified ICE that she would be taking sanctuary in the First Unitarian Society Church in Denver and would not be reporting to ICE as ordered.    •On May 11, 2017, Vizguerra-Ramirez received an automatic stay of removal due to Senate Bill 603, a private bill submitted on her behalf and her removal was stayed until March 15, 2019. The private bill was not enacted.   •On March 14, 2019, Vizguerra-Ramirez once again sought sanctuary at the First Unitarian Society Church in Denver where she remains an immigration fugitive.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has addressed the Fort Myers city council after they chose not to approve an agreement for police cooperation with ICE. He expressed that their decision constitutes a serious violation of Florida law, effectively designating Fort Myers as a sanctuary city, which is not allowed in the state. Uthmeier warned that failure to rectify this decision could lead to civil and criminal penalties, including potential removal from office by the Governor.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

NEW: Florida AG @JamesUthmeierFL has sent a letter to the Fort Myers, FL city council, after they held hands and cried while not approving an agreement for their police to cooperate with ICE. AG says this decision is a “serious and direct violation of Florida law.” Says decision makes Fort Myers a sanctuary city, which are prohibited in FL, and failure to correct the decision will result in “all applicable civil and criminal penalties, including but not limited to being held in contempt, declaratory or injunctive relief, and removal from office by the Governor pursuant to section 908.107, Florida Statutes and the Florida Constitution.”

@Julio_Rosas11 - Julio Rosas

Video of the Fort Myers City Council meeting where they did not approve their officers to have an agreement with ICE is even more insane because the members who voted against it started crying, holding hands: "I can't stand behind this as an immigrant, the only immigrant sitting in this council."

The mayor states the city is not for sale and expresses frustration over the potential risk to federal or state funding if he doesn't sign up for something. A councilmember says they cannot support the measure as an immigrant, emphasizing that most immigrants do not come to commit crimes and should be held accountable if they do. Another councilmember clarifies the memorandum is not intended to target immigrants but to allow officers to act on civil warrants when encountering individuals who are both violating laws and are undocumented. Another councilmember suggests tabling the discussion for a workshop to better understand the issues, anticipating a tied vote.

Speaker 0: Thank you for what you've said. Thank you for your comments. I cannot begin to imagine how difficult this is for you. The argument, and I know there's no malintent to it, that we would risk federal or state funding if I don't sign up for this. It is a tumultuous day and age, and this is a day I hate sitting in the seat that my city is not for sale. Speaker 1: Mister mayor. Councilmember Geraldo. Speaker 2: Council person Bergson, thank you for your words, and thank you. Brissenberg, I can't I sit here to represent my city, but my city is not just all of us sitting here. It's the people that live here to support you, chief, to support the intent of the city. I I can't I can't stand behind this as an immigrant, the only immigrant sitting in this council because although this isn't about me particularly, I have been in that position, and and I can't. I I I this has I I I can't even express how heavy this is in my heart and in my mind knowing that the majority of us that come as immigrants, we don't come here to commit crimes. Of course, there are crimes out there, and people that commit crimes that everybody that commits a crime needs to be accountable for, regardless if they're illegal or not. But this notion that all immigrants have a a motive and and and we are chased after. It's just something I just can't. Speaker 1: So if I can just add once again, this is not a memorandum to create a group of officers to go out there and kick in doors and actively seek out immigrants. It's a process that allows officers who come in contact with people violating the laws, people creating or committing crimes that also happen to be illegal alien and have a warrant, a civil warrant for that purpose. This is allowing our police officers, our police department to do a better job. It's it's not what it's portrayed to be. And with that, if there's no other comments One more comment. Yes. Compl it's quite Speaker 3: obvious we're gonna get a three threes vote here. And I'd like to say that we tabled this for the workshop and and vetted out, but maybe your police department can bring it forward and we can understand the issues better. So I would if the councilman would like to amend that to to push it to a workshop.

I reported on the arrest of two men by Inglewood PD for the murder of Juan (Johnny) Sanchez, who confronted them while they attempted to steal a catalytic converter. Both suspects, illegal aliens with extensive criminal records, have faced numerous arrests in Los Angeles County. Wilber Alberto Rabanales has a lengthy rap sheet, while Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez has been charged with illegal re-entry and possession of a firearm. Surveillance footage shows Sanchez trying to seek help before the tragic confrontation.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

BREAKING: Per multiple law enforcement sources, the two men arrested by Inglewood PD yesterday for allegedly shooting & killing a man who tried to stop them from stealing his neighbor’s catalytic converter are both illegal aliens with extensive criminal histories, w/ each having over a dozen arrests in Los Angeles County in recent years. I’m told ICE detainers on one suspect have been ignored 12 times in recent years. I'm told Wilber Alberto Rabanales (blue shirt) is a Guatemalan national who has been arrested at least 15 times in Los Angeles County in recent years on predominantly gun, grand theft, burglary, and drug charges. His rap sheet is 11 pages long. It includes numerous grand theft arrests, mostly for stealing catalytic converters, multiple DUIs, conspiracy, felon in possession of a gun, possession of burglary tools, possession of meth, possession of stolen property, and felony hit and run during police pursuit. I’m told Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez (flower shirt) is a Salvadoran national who has been arrested at least a dozen times in Los Angeles County in recent years. His rap sheet is 6 pages long. It includes arrests for numerous grand thefts, concealed firearm in car, kidnapping, numerous possession of meth and possession of burglary tools. Mugshots provided by law enforcement source. The victim, Juan (Johnny) Sanchez, was killed last Tuesday when he heard a noise outside his home and confronted both suspects as they were trying to steal the catalytic converter from his neighbor’s car. He was shot in the chest, and part of the confrontation was caught on video. Sanchez leaves behind a wife and two children.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

This is surveillance video of the confrontation and shooting. The victim can be seen in the navy sweater. He initially tries to wave down a passing fire truck for help, before confronting the two men. I cut the video off right as the shot goes off, as the rest is very upsetting. https://t.co/8yhrekpsRW

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

UPDATE: Federal prosecutors have charged Saravia-Sanchez (flower shirt) with felony illegal-reentry as well as being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm. He was deported in 2013 and re-entered the United States at un unknown time. He remains in state custody for murder.

The Trump administration has launched a new app called CBP Home, transforming the previous CBP One app into a tool for self-deportation. Migrants can register to leave the U.S. by providing personal information and photos, which will be submitted to Customs and Border Protection. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stated that this app offers migrants a chance to leave voluntarily, potentially allowing for future legal re-entry. The administration claims this approach is more cost-effective and allows ICE to focus on criminal aliens, contrasting sharply with the previous administration's immigration policies.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

SCOOP: The Trump admin has repurposed the controversial Biden era CBP One cell phone app into a self deportation app called CBP Home that launches today. DHS tells me any migrants who had the prior CBP One app will have it auto update to this new app, & DHS can use data from prior CBP One registrations to track migrants for removal. The new app allows illegal aliens and migrants in the US to register with CBP to self deport. They fill out biographical information, including their countries of citizenship, which country they plan to return to, their alien registration numbers, contact information, and it allows them to upload photos of themselves to confirm their identity. All of it is then submitted to CBP, and they leave the country.   You may be asking yourself – why would an illegal alien want to self deport? In a statement to FOX News – DHS Secretary Kristi Noem answers that question.   “The CBP Home app gives aliens to option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream. If they don’t, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return,” Noem said. “The Biden administration exploited the CBP One app to allow more than one million aliens to enter the United States. With the launching of the CBP Home app, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system.”   DHS says it is significantly cheaper for the US if illegal aliens decide to self deport, and limited ICE resources can instead be used to target criminal aliens.   According to CBP data, roughly 40-50 thousand migrants were entering the US every month via the CBP One app during the Biden administration, totaling nearly one million by the end of his presidency.   Trump terminated the program on day one of his presidency, leading to scenes of migrants crying at the border when they realized their appointments had been cancelled. The Trump admin has essentially hijacked the Biden admin program, a key pillar of his immigration policy, and has repurposed it for opposite effect.

I joined Ingraham Angle to discuss troubling leaks regarding ICE operations. An open borders activist received confidential information, alerting criminal aliens in Virginia and advising them on how to evade ICE. This interference is not just ethically wrong but poses risks to law enforcement. The real concern is the source of these leaks, which have now spread to multiple cities. Despite promises of accountability, no consequences for the leakers have been announced. Meanwhile, Pablo Reports has blocked me and called me a coward, which is quite typical.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

Joined @IngrahamAngle to discuss the latest on leaks of ICE operations. In this case, an open borders activist got a leak, gave criminal alien targets in VA a heads up, then urged them to “prepare accordingly” for ICE to potentially enter their homes w/ warrants & coached them to stay off of highways due to VA state police cooperating with ICE. While his attempt to interfere with the serving of federal judicial warrants against criminal alien targets may be ethically abhorrent & dangerous to law enforcement, the true issue lies with whoever leaked him the operational details. Details of ICE operations have now leaked in Virginia, Los Angeles, Aurora, and Chicago. The problem appears to be getting worse, rather than better, and despite promises of consequences for leakers, none have been announced yet.

Video Transcript AI Summary
This DHS leak went to a far-left, open-borders activist who doesn't want ICE to succeed. He gave targets a heads up and advised them on how to avoid ICE, even warning them about highway patrols and potential home entries. ICE had judicial warrants for these individuals, meaning a judge had already signed off on warrants for criminals, fugitives, and those with final removal orders. This activist is aligning himself with criminal aliens, and the real blame goes to the leaker within the Trump administration. These leaks seem to be getting worse and worse. The individuals targeted often have previous felonies, violent crimes, or have already been ordered for deportation by a judge. Pretending to be a reporter won't avoid legal accountability, as it interferes with federal ICE operations.

Speaker 0: Now this looks like a leak from DHS. What do we know? Speaker 1: Laura, it was a leak, and it was leaked to not a reporter, but a far left open borders activist who doesn't like ICE and doesn't want ICE to succeed, and he's trying to say that he's just reporting the news. No. He's not. He went well beyond that. If you guys pull up his his string of tweets, not only did he give these targets a heads up that this was coming, he then said ICE has warrants. They can go into your home, so, quote, plan accordingly. He then went on to say that the highways aren't safe. Stay off the highways because state police are partnering with ICE. That crosses the line from reporting into activism. And here's why it's so egregious in this case, Laura. He openly says in his reporting there that ICE had up to 100 judicial warrants to go after these guys. That means a judge had signed off on these criminal warrants and given ICE the green light to go after them. That means there is a higher degree of criminality. These are not just administrative ICE arrests. These are criminals. They're fugitives. They're people with final orders of removal, and ICE had judicial permission to target them and go after them. Well, this activist has apparently decided to align himself with those criminal aliens, give them a heads up, and then coach them and advise them on how to avoid ICE. And Laura, you and I may find that abhorrent, but the real blame here goes with whoever leaked him that information. Because the big question right now is who in this Trump administration is talking to a far left ICE hating activist, you know, immigration reporter, as he describes himself, and is leaking these operational details to him because his information was accurate, Laura. I confirmed with ICE sources. There were operations in Virginia today. So, look, a lot of people in the Trump administration have been going on TV saying that these leakers are gonna be punished. They're gonna be identified. They're gonna be consequence. But we haven't seen any of that yet. Right? Aurora leaked. Chicago leaked. LA leaked. Now Virginia leaked. It seems to be getting worse and worse. We may not like what this activist is reporting, but the true blame goes to whoever is leaking that information to him and giving up the ICE intel. Speaker 0: Well, Bill, what what kind of lovely individuals are subject to a judicial warrant? It's a term that our viewers haven't heard very often. Speaker 1: Basically, some of the things you you announced in your Anchor intro. These can be people who have previous felonies. They can be people who are fugitives of the law. They can be people who have final orders of removal, meaning they've already had their immigration cases heard, and a judge has ordered them deported, from The United States. It essentially means that they're not just targeting these people because they're in The US illegally. They have a criminal history, perhaps a violent felony, perhaps a rape, perhaps an assault with a deadly weapon. They're not they're not good guys that a a judge is signing off on. Right? So this guy decided to not only give them a heads up, but then actively coach them. Hey. Stay off the highways, and they might come into your house, so prepare accordingly. And that what does he mean by that? Right? I mean, you could have some nut job sitting there with a gun waiting for them to come in. Speaker 0: Well, lives are on the line, Bill, and I'm gonna say this. Pretending you're a reporter to try to avoid your own legal accountability here, that might not work. I mean, it it it could be considered a fraud in the in the publication of this. It's fraud. It's it's it's fraudulently identifying yourself and then interfering with federal ICE operations. Americans could very well get killed as a result of this. So the leaker is culpable. This so called reporter better watch out because he may be culpable as well. You just don't know how this is gonna go down. Bill, as always, you're reporting on this. Thank you so much.

We're getting an aerial view of a massive situation unfolding at the US-Mexico border near Del Rio, Texas. Thousands of migrants, primarily Haitian, are congregating under the international bridge, waiting to be processed by Border Patrol. The numbers have exploded in the last 48 hours, tripling from just over 4,000 to upwards of 11,000. People are constantly streaming in, crossing the Rio Grande from Ciudad Acuna, Mexico, using a dam and a dirt path. Border Patrol is overwhelmed and doesn't have the capacity to process everyone, leading to the congestion under the bridge. We're seeing hundreds crossing the river at a time, with people freely moving back and forth between the US and Mexico, seemingly unimpeded by authorities.

Speaker 0: Guys, good afternoon to you. This is a wild situation to see from the air. We reported earlier that the FAA grounded our Fox News drones. We cannot fly those well. The troopers with Texas DPS are kind enough to let us go up in their helicopter with them to get a look at the situation at this bridge right now and take a to 11,000 miles Mexico into Del Rio right here, and they are waiting underneath the international bridge, waiting to be processed by border patrol. Look at the massive people down there. This time two days ago, there were just over 4,000 people. There are now upwards of 11,000. We are talking nearly a tripling of the numbers in just forty eight hours or so. You can get a broken perspective from the air right here of how many people are constantly streaming in. Our pilot's gonna take us up this dirt path a little bit here so you can see why this why this crowd here just keeps getting so much bigger. These are mostly Haitian immigrants. But take a look at this as we as we move up the Rio Grande right here. That Mexican town that you're looking across the river, that is Sealed out Acuna. That is the Mexican city where all these migrants are gathering. And you can see they're using this dam right here to walk across the Rio Grande and enter The United States illegally. They then use a dirt path that's right below us, and they stream into the international bridge area. We are talking thousands of people showing up every single day here. The problem is what's happening, the reason why they're all congregated underneath that bridge is border patrol doesn't have enough agents to process these folks. They're completely overwhelmed. Their holding facilities are completely overcapacity. Ryan said, look, there you got more people crossing the Rio Grande right there coming through this dirt. This is nonstop, guys. This is a nonstop trail of migrants who are crossing the Rio Grande in multiple areas here. We're gonna have a pretty wild shot coming up to the Rio Grande right here in a moment. This is a steady line of hundreds of people. Brian, I don't know if you can pan up there into into the Rio Grande. So look at that. That is a steady trail of hundreds of people crossing from Mexico as we speak right now, arriving into The United States illegally. Wow. That is a lot of people down there. And what we've been noticing is these folks are allowed to go back and forth between The United States and Mexico. There are no border patrol agents down there. There are no immigration agents on the Mexican side. It almost looks like it's a water park down.

The city of Denver has released video of ICE pursuing a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member who was released from jail due to sanctuary policies. ICE claims they were notified of his release only 90 minutes in advance, despite requesting a 48-hour notice. The gang member allegedly assaulted an ICE agent during his arrest. ICE argues that sanctuary policies should not prevent transfers within the jail for safety reasons. Denver's Mike Johnston has reached out to ICE to discuss better procedures for future cases.

NEW: The city of Denver has released video showing ICE chasing down & arresting a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member who had just been released from jail after Denver refused to hand him over to ICE inside the safety of facility due to sanctuary policy. Instead, he was street released and fled upon seeing ICE agents. ICE says he assaulted an agent while being taken into custody. @9news reports that ICE requested a 48 hour heads up on his release, but they received that notification from the Denver Co. jail 90 minutes beforehand via email. ICE says it makes no sense for sanctuary policy to ban transfers inside the jail, where it is safer for everyone. In this case, six ICE officers had to show up to apprehend the uncuffed TdA gang member after he was released from the jail. Denver Mike Johnston says he reached out to ICE yesterday and is asking to sit down with them to discuss “best procedures” moving forward.

I shared the release documents for a Tren de Aragua gang member who was let go into a Denver jail parking lot due to sanctuary policies, which led to an ICE agent being assaulted. The documents show the Denver Sheriff's Department stamped "release to street" and informed the gang member about ICE's inquiries and his right to refuse to speak with them. ICE had requested custody of the individual inside the jail, but the Sheriff's Department denied this. During a hearing, Congressman Jim Jordan and Mayor Mike Johnston discussed the incident, with Johnston claiming it was his first awareness of such an occurrence.

Notice it is stamped “release to street” by the Denver Sheriffs Dept, & they even gave the TdA gang member a heads up that ICE was asking about his release date, & notified him he has the right to refuse to speak to ICE. ICE’s detainer request is also attached. ICE asked for the TdA gang member to be handed over to their custody inside the safety of the Denver jail. Denver Sheriff’s Dept. refused, due to sanctuary policy, and he assaulted ICE when they arrested him in the jail parking lot. Congressman @Jim_Jordan and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston had an exchange about this during the @GOPoversight hearing with sanctuary city mayors. I've reported extensively on illegal immigration stories, particularly in Massachusetts, where local jurisdictions often ignore ICE detainer requests for serious crimes like child rape. Recently, a Guatemalan charged with multiple counts of aggravated child rape was released on bail without ICE being notified. This pattern continues, as seen in a summer operation on Nantucket where four illegal aliens charged with sexual offenses were arrested after being released into the community. ICE officials express frustration with sanctuary policies that complicate their efforts to ensure public safety.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

I’ve covered a lot of illegal immigration related stories around the country in recent years. Massachusetts is the only state that frequently releases illegal aliens charged w/ aggravated child rape & refuses to cooperate w/ ICE on detainer requests for them. Even in other sanctuary states & cities, I almost never see a lack of cooperation for child rape. In this case, a Guatemalan charged with 3x forcible child rape & 3x aggravated child rape was released on bail by Essex County, MA, with ICE Boston saying their detainer request was ignored & they were not notified of his release. During one of my embeds with ICE Boston last year, they arrested four illegal aliens charged w/ child rape in a single morning. All of them had been released by local jurisdictions with ICE detainers ignored. I asked a MA law enforcement source how this keeps happening there? And how does someone charged with so many counts of forcible & aggravated child rape even get bail in the first place? “Welcome to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,” is the response I got.

It's unbelievable that some jurisdictions refuse to cooperate with ICE, even in cases of heinous crimes like child rape. In Massachusetts, ICE recently arrested a Guatemalan man charged with multiple counts of aggravated and forcible child rape. ICE states that their detainer request was ignored due to sanctuary policies, and the suspect was released on bail without notifying ICE. ICE Boston also arrested a Turkish man charged with assault and witness intimidation, but their detainer was ignored by Somerville, another sanctuary city. Across the U.S., ICE Seattle arrested a Salvadoran man wanted for homicide, and ICE Los Angeles apprehended a Guatemalan man charged with sexual assault and rape. In Colorado, the DEA announced arrests of illegal immigrants involved in serious crimes like kidnapping, child sexual assault, and fentanyl trafficking.

Speaker 0: Well, Dana, it's hard to believe there are any jurisdictions out there that wouldn't cooperate with ICE when it comes to illegal aliens charged with forcibly raping children, but in Massachusetts, it's just routine. Take a look at this case. Ice Boston just announcing they arrested this Guatemalan illegal alien charged in Massachusetts with three counts of aggravated child rape and three counts of forcible rape of a child. So the question is, why was he on the streets? Right? Well, Ice says their detainer request on him was ignored by the Essex County Superior Court due to sanctuary policy. The locals released him into the community on bail without any notice to ICE. In a statement, the director of ICE Boston says in part, quote, Jose Fernando Perez has been charged with some horrific crimes against a minor in our commonwealth. He is exactly the type of alien we are targeting with our worst first policy. He posed a significant danger to the children of Massachusetts, and we will not tolerate such a threat to our community. ICE Boston also announcing the arrest of this Turkish illegal alien charged in Massachusetts with a sultan battery against an intellectually disabled person and witness intimidation. But ICE says their detainer on him was also ignored by the sanctuary city of Somerville. He had also been released into the public. Elsewhere around The US, ICE Seattle arrested this Salvadoran illegal alien wanted in his home country for aggravated homicide. Here in Los Angeles, ICE arrested this Guatemalan illegal alien charged with sexual assault and rape with a gun. And in Colorado, the DEA announced their top 10 arrests of illegal immigrants in recent days, including several affiliated with Trendy Aragua and others with egregious crimes like kidnapping, child sexual assault, and fentanyl trafficking. And Dana, I was talking to a law enforcement source in Massachusetts about the child rape case that I referenced, and I asked, like, there's gotta be some sort of a catch here. Right? Forget about cooperating with ICE. How does somebody charged with so many counts of aggravated, forcible child rape even get released on bail in the first place? The response I got was quote, welcome to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We'll send it back to you. And well, they're finally on their way out. Thanks, Bill.

NEW: In a multi day operation on Nantucket Island, ICE’s Boston office announces they arrested four illegal aliens who are charged with raping or sexually assaulting Nantucket children or residents - all of whom were released from local custody despite the serious charges. They include: Elmer Sola, a Salvadoran illegal alien who entered the U.S. as a gotaway and was charged last month with three counts of aggravated child rape. The victim was a Nantucket child. Bryan Daniel Aldana-Arevalo, another Salvadoran illegal alien who entered the U.S. as a gotaway and was charged in July with raping a Nantucket child. Gean Do Amaral Belafronte, a Brazilian illegal alien who entered the U.S. as a gotaway and was charged in June with sexually assaulting a Nantucket resident. Felix Alberto Perez-Gomez, a previously deported Guatemalan illegal alien who re-entered the U.S. as a gotaway and was charged last month with sexually assaulting a Nantucket resident. All four of these alleged sex offenders were gotaways, ICE says. They were all arrested by ICE on Nantucket - in sanctuary state Massachusetts. And here was my embed with ICE Boston in March 2024 when, in a single morning, they arrested four illegal aliens charged with child rape, all of whom had been released by local jurisdictions with ICE detainers ignored. This is routine in Massachusetts. https://t.co/EgCawKoKvC

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

EXCLUSIVE: We embedded with a team of elite Boston based ICE deportation officers as they arrested four alleged child rapists & a violent MS-13 gang member in a single morning. ICE says their detainer requests on all of these illegal aliens weren’t honored by local jurisdictions due to sanctuary policies in Massachusetts. ICE tells me those policies allow illegal aliens charged or convicted with heinous crimes to roam the streets after release without any notice, and make their job more dangerous because they have to find & arrest aliens charged or convicted with aggravated felonies on the streets, instead of having them handed over in a safe environment like a jail. @EROBoston Field Office Director Todd Lyons calls the sanctuary policies “frustrating”, but says arresting multiple alleged child rapists and a violent gang member in one morning is a testament to his team. “That’s every day up here in Boston,” Lyons told me. “Those are the public safety threats we really want to get off the street. It was a great day, great day for the team. Five public safety threats that can’t victimize anyone anymore.” But Lyons added, ICE Boston can only do so much, given current staffing levels. “I don’t have enough officers or resources to tackle all these public safety threats,” he said. “Are we gonna go after the child rapist today, or are we gonna go after the twice deported fentanyl dealer? Because we can’t do both.”

We're in Boston, where an ICE team is targeting illegal aliens charged with egregious crimes, specifically aggravated felonies. Our first takedown was an illegal alien from Guatemala, charged with aggravated child rape. Next, we arrested a Colombian national charged with raping a child over 14. We don't have the resources to get every public safety threat off the streets, but we have to prioritize. Another arrest was an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador. Then we arrested a Brazilian man charged with five counts of aggravated rape of a child. How are we not notified about these child rapists being released? Our final target was a Brazilian gang member, also charged with child rape. Today we got four accused child rapists and one MS-13 gang member. With sanctuary policies in place, local authorities often ignore our detainer requests. These suspects will remain in federal custody until their local charges are resolved, then we'll seek to deport them.

And this elite team of ICE deportation officers is briefing on their target list for the day. Illegal aliens charged with egregious crimes. Speaker 1: All the targets today, every single one of them is an aggravated felony here in the Commonwealth. So these are the really the cases that are the worst of the worst here in Massachusetts. Speaker 0: ICE quickly takes down its first target, an illegal alien from Guatemala charged with aggravated child rape. Minutes later, ICE arrests a Colombian national charged with the rape of a child above age 14. Speaker 1: I don't have enough officers or resources to tackle every one of these public safety threats. Are we going after the child rapists today, or are we gonna go after that two times deported fentanyl dealer? Because we can't get both. Speaker 0: ICE's next arrest, a combative MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador charged with a slew of violent crimes. Officers then arrested this Brazilian man charged with five counts of aggravated rape of a child. How are you guys not notified about a child rapist being released? Speaker 1: Unfortunately, in Massachusetts, that's how it is with mostly sanctuary jurisdictions. Speaker 0: A short time later, ICE took down their final target, a Brazilian gang member also charged with child rape. Just this morning today, four accused child rapists and one MS 13 gang member. Those are the kind of people you're going after. Speaker 1: That that's every day up here in in Boston. Those are the public safety threats that we really wanna get off the street. Speaker 0: It was Speaker 1: a great day for the teams. That's five public safety threats that are on in the community. Gonna go ahead and victimize anyone else. Speaker 0: And I says all of those arrests you just saw happen because local authorities ignored their detainer request to keep these guys in custody due to sanctuary policies. ICE says all of those suspects will remain in federal custody until their local charges are resolved, then ICE will seek to deport every single one of them. Speaker 1: Wow. We'll send Speaker 0: it back to you. Speaker 1: And make it a point of doing it in a city like Boston with the sanctuary policies in place. Really intriguing stuff, Bill. We'll see what comes of it next. Thank you. Bill Malusian in Boston.

I shared a significant update about ICE Boston arresting a Guatemalan man, Jose Fernando-Perez, who faces multiple charges of aggravated and forcible child rape in Massachusetts. He was initially released into the community due to a sanctuary policy that led to the Essex County Superior Court ignoring an ICE detainer request. After being located in Framingham, he is now in federal custody. ICE emphasizes that they are focused on removing dangerous offenders to ensure community safety.

Buckle up for this one. NEW: ICE Boston has arrested a Guatemalan illegal alien charged w/ multiple counts of aggravated & forcible child rape in MA after ICE says their detainer request was ignored by the Essex County Superior Court due to sanctuary policy & he was released into the community on bail. ICE found and arrested him in Framingham, MA, and he remains in federal custody. ICE statement: “Jose Fernando-Perez has been charged with some horrific crimes against a minor in our commonwealth,” said ICE Boston acting Field Office Director Patricia H. Hyde. “He is exactly the type of alien we are targeting with our ‘worst first’ policy. I learned that an MS-13 gang member, previously ordered deported, was arrested in Boston on gun charges after being released by the East Boston District Court, which ignored ICE’s detainer request. This individual had also been caught and released at the border in March 2021. Despite his gang affiliation, deportation order, and criminal charges, the court's sanctuary policies led to his release back into the community.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

NEW: ICE Boston announces that this MS-13 gang member they arrested during our embed last week had already been ordered deported from the U.S. in October and was facing local gun charges, but he was released into the community by the East Boston District Court the day before our embed, after the court ignored ICE’s detainer request. He was also caught and released at the border by the Biden administration in March 2021. To summarize: An illegal alien MS-13 gang member gets released at the border, has his due process and is ordered deported by a DOJ immigration judge, then gets arrested in Boston on gun & drug charges, where he is protected by sanctuary policy and released onto the streets after ICE’s detainer request is ignored. MS-13 gang membership, a final order of removal, and firearms charges still did not warrant cooperation with ICE. I had exclusive access to ICE’s elite Boston team as they targeted serious criminal illegal aliens in sanctuary jurisdictions. Among those arrested was a combative Haitian man who vocally opposed deportation, and several MS-13 gang members, including one wanted for aggravated murder. Notably, one MS-13 suspect had just been released from a sanctuary jurisdiction, highlighting the risks of ignoring ICE detainers. ICE emphasized that if they had been notified, they could have prevented additional arrests, warning that sanctuary cities will face more collateral consequences.

EXCLUSIVE: We were given exclusive access to ICE’s elite Boston team as they went into sanctuary jurisdictions and targeted the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens, including a combative Haitian man who said he won’t go back & screamed “F**k Trump, Biden forever!”. Other targets arrested included a MS-13 gang member with an Interpol Red Notice for aggravated murder, another MS-13 gang member facing gun charges, and multiple rape & sexual assault suspects, several of whom had been released from sanctuary jurisdictions with ICE detainers ignored. One of the MS-13 suspects had just been released by a sanctuary jurisdiction the day before our embed. When ICE found him - he was with another man who ICE determined is also in the U.S. illegally. ICE arrested him and will seek to deport him, telling me he never would have been caught up if the MS-13 suspect would have been handed to them at jail. This is “collateral”, and Tom Homan warns sanctuary cities will see more of it.

Good morning. In Boston, ICE officers are targeting violent offenders. They quickly apprehend an MS-13 gang member wanted for murder in El Salvador, along with other illegal aliens from Haiti, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic, all with serious criminal backgrounds. Many were released due to sanctuary policies. Officers emphasize that they will continue to operate in sanctuary jurisdictions to ensure public safety. Shortly after filming, they arrested two more individuals, including a previously deported Honduran for rape and a Haitian man arrested for sexual assault. Despite sanctuary city policies, ICE asserts they will continue their enforcement efforts, gathering intelligence to locate and detain individuals who pose threats to the community.

Speaker 0: Good morning, everyone. Speaker 1: It's a frigid 5 degrees in the predawn hours just outside of Boston, where this team of elite ICE officers is briefing on their targets for the day. Speaker 0: We're gonna be targeting some extremely violent offenders today. Speaker 1: Within moments, the officers are on the move with eyes on their first target. Speaker 0: Looks like we got movement, target vehicle coming on. Speaker 1: They quickly take him into custody. He's an MS 13 gang member wanted in El Salvador for aggravated murder, and he has an INTERPOL red notice out for his arrest. Speaker 2: We are targeting very violent, threats to our community. Speaker 0: I I'm not going back to Haiti. Speaker 1: One of those threats is this illegal alien from Haiti. ICE says he's a gang member with 17 criminal convictions in recent years. Speaker 0: Trump. You feel me? Yo. Biden forever, bro. Thank Obama for everything that he did for me, bro. Speaker 1: Ice Boston quickly takes down its next targets, including this illegal alien from Brazil who has an INTERPOL red notice for armed robbery. This Salvadoran illegal alien charged locally sanctuary jurisdiction. Yo. And this Dominican illegal alien charged with assault with a deadly weapon and heroin trafficking. Officers also arrested this Guatemalan MS 13 gang member facing gun charges. ICE says he was released from local custody just the day before. Their detainer request was ignored because of sanctuary policies. And in a sign of shifting priorities with the new Trump administration, this man who was in the same apartment as the target was also arrested after ICE determined he's also in the US illegally. This is what ICE calls collateral. Speaker 3: So you guys got your main target Speaker 4: just now, but you got somebody else. Speaker 2: What just happened? So our main target was released by a sanctuary jurisdiction not honoring a detainer. That person was released back into the community, and when we went to go find him, he's with somebody else who was previously removed from the United States. So he's gonna go today too. Speaker 1: And that is exactly what borders are Tom Homan has warned would happen. Speaker 4: When we find the bad guy, he's probably with others. Others that are in the United States illegally. They may not be a a criminal priority, but we're not walking away from them. Speaker 1: ICE Boston says they will continue to go into sanctuary jurisdictions and do their job. Speaker 2: Today was a good day. Today, we took, several significant public safety threats out of our communities. Unfortunately, a lot were released by sanctuary policies, but we're here to tell the Commonwealth and the rest of the country that we're gonna find them whether they're released or not. Speaker 3: And, guys, shortly after we finished filming, Ice Boston told us they arrested 2 more targets in other parts of town away from our cameras. One of those targets is a previously deported Honduran illegal alien, who was arrested for raping a woman while putting a gun in her mouth. The other target they got is a Haitian man who first flew into the United States in 2023 as part of president Biden's controversial migrant flight mass parole program. Well, they just picked him up yesterday because he's been arrested locally for sexual assault. We'll send it back to you. Speaker 5: Bill Volusion, this it was fascinating to watch all of that. I think I was just saying to Bill, this is terrible for Joe Biden and the legacy that he tried to leave behind. A a question for me. How soon will they actually be leaving the country? Does that take a long time? Speaker 3: It depends what country they're from. If they're from cooperable countries, like El Salvador, Guatemala, countries like that, it can be quick. It can be within days or weeks. If it's countries that are harder to deport, countries that don't cooperate with the US as much, it can go into a process of months. But the Trump administration is changing policies with something called expedited removal. The bottom line is people at home don't need to understand all the policies. The Trump administration is just gonna work as fast as they can get all the people you just saw on camera there out of the country as fast as possible. They're also gonna use their state department now led by Marco Rubio to put pressure on countries that don't cooperate with the US as much when it comes to those deportations. Speaker 0: Bill, just 2 2 points of clarification here. It seems a lot of these crimes are associated with sex crimes. I'm just looking at the list a bit earlier today. Mhmm. I don't know if that generally is the case or not. And second, if Boston's a sanctuary city, how are they allowed to do this? Because we told there would be resistance. Speaker 3: Boston doesn't have to cooperate with ICE, but there's nothing they can do to stop ICE from coming into their city and enforcing the law. And that's exactly what happened yesterday, and that's the point ICE makes to us is, look, they don't have to cooperate with our detainer request. They don't have to tell our officers when they're releasing somebody from jail, but we're gonna do our job. We have our intel guys out in the field. We have people with eyes all over the place, and we're gonna snatch those guys. So they can make ICE's job more difficult, longer and more dangerous, but it's not gonna stop ICE from doing the job, guys. The bottom line is ICE says, it's safer for everybody involved if locals would just hand these guys over in jail once they're arrested, but they don't. They let them out onto the streets. They don't tell ICE about it. So ICE has to spend a lot of resources gathering intel, finding these guys, and then going out into the community to do arrest, which could be dangerous. You saw that combative, Haitian man, and then you saw in the case of that one m s 13 member, his friend got snagged. They weren't even looking for him. They were looking for the MS 13 guy. They picked him up because a sanctuary jurisdiction released the MS 13 guy. ICE found him and then found the guy who was in the apartment with. They found out he was an illegal alien as well. So now he's gonna be deported too. Wow. Speaker 5: Amazing. Bill Malugen, thank you so much. More to come on that. Speaker 0: Thank you, Bill.

I reached out to VP Kamala Harris’ campaign regarding her stance on the Biden administration's CBP One app and the CHNV migrant flights program if she wins the election. The campaign did not directly address my questions but stated her support for a bipartisan border bill, which would end the CBP One app while maintaining the CHNV flights. Since their implementation, over 1.3 million migrants have entered the U.S. lawfully through these programs, with 800,000 via the app and 530,000 through the flights, neither of which are included in Border Patrol data.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

NEW: I asked VP Kamala Harris’ campaign if she will keep the Biden administration’s controversial CBP One cell phone app & CHNV migrant flights mass parole program if she wins the election. The campaign provided me a statement that did not answer those questions. The campaign said instead that she supports the bipartisan border bill, and would sign it. That bill would have immediately ended the use of the CBP One cell phone app for paroling migrants into the U.S., but it would have kept the CHNV migrant flights parole program in place. Both programs combined have allowed over 1.3 million migrants to enter the U.S. lawfully since the Biden admin started them less than two years ago in late 2022 & early 2023. 800,000+ via the CBP One App. 530,000 via CHNV migrant flights. Again, these numbers are not counted in Border Patrol data as they are not illegal crossings and they never encounter Border Patrol. Statement below from Harris campaign spokesperson Mia Ehrenberg.

I shared new CBP data revealing that nearly 530,000 migrants have entered the U.S. through the Biden administration's CHNV mass parole program, with an additional 813,000 using the CBP One app for appointments. These migrants receive two-year humanitarian parole, allowing them to work. ICE sources indicate they lack the resources to monitor or deport those who overstay. With ICE's non-detained docket projected to reach 8 million, it's clear that over 1 million migrants allowed in through these programs are likely to remain in the U.S.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

NEW: Per newly released CBP data, nearly 530,000 migrants have flown into the US & have been paroled into the country as part of the Biden administration’s controversial CHNV mass parole program. Additionally, approx 813,000 migrants have scheduled appointments via the CBP One app at ports of entry to be released into the US. These are “lawful pathways” created by the Biden administration, and these numbers do not count in Border Patrol data, as they are not illegal crossings. Most of the migrants taking part in these programs are paroled into the U.S. on two year humanitarian parole grants, which also allow them to apply to work. Every single ICE source/contact I’ve spoken with has told me the same thing - they do not have the manpower or resources to find and deport such a large population of people if they overstay these 2 year grants. As it stands now, ICE’s non-detained docket is on track to hit 8 million by the end of the year, and each ICE officer currently manages an average of 7,000 cases. The agency is already tasked with tracking down and removing those with final orders of removal, aggravated felons, gotaways, etc. They physically do not have the bodies to track and remove this additional population - and there has been no government agency monitoring parole expiration, according to a recent DHS Inspector General report. The bottom line - the more than 1 million migrants the Biden admin has allowed into the U.S. via these programs are here to stay - even if they fall out of status and become unlawfully in the U.S. New CBP data: https://cbp.gov/newsroom/national-media-release/cbp-releases-august-2024-monthly-update

The Biden administration created two programs in 2023 to allow migrants to enter the U.S. legally, bypassing border patrol. CBP data indicates over 1.3 million migrants have entered the U.S. through these programs. Two Haitian nationals who entered through this program were arrested for sexually assaulting children. Akeem Marc Desire was arrested for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old boy in Massachusetts, and Corey Alvarez was arrested for aggravated child rape. Since January 2023, over 800,000 migrants have been allowed into the U.S. using the CBP One app. In July 2023, Kinal Batiste, a Haitian national who entered via the app, was arrested in New York and charged with a double murder. Speaker 0: Bill, good morning to you. Record high illegal crossings down at the southern border have obviously been a huge political headache Speaker 1: for the Biden administration. So at the start of 2023, they created 2 new programs to allow migrants to come into the US legally, bypassing border patrol entirely. And according to new CBP data, those Biden programs have now allowed more than 1,300,000 migrants to come into the US. So take a look at this. According to that CBP data, about 5 130,000 migrants have now flown into the US as part of the Biden administration's controversial mass parole program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans. It's called the CHNV program. Now more than 200,000 of them have been Haitians coming in, and at least 2 of those Haitians were arrested for sexually assaulting children this year. Take a look. Earlier this month, Haitian national, Akeem Marc Desire, was arrested for allegedly molesting a 10 year old boy in Massachusetts. He first flew into the US as part of the CHNV parole program in June of 2023. Then back in March, another Haitian national, Corey Alvarez, was arrested for aggravated child rape. That's after prosecutors say he raped a girl in a migrant hotel outside of Boston. He also flew into the US as part of the CHVNV parole program back in June of 2023. Now there's a second program. According to CBP data, since January 2023, more than 800,000 migrants have now been allowed into the US via the Biden administration's use of the controversial CBP 1 cell phone app that allows migrants to book appointments at ports of entry to be released into the US. That includes nearly 45,000 migrants last month alone, an average of nearly 1500 migrants coming in every single day. And this year, Kinal Batiste, a Haitian national who came into the US in July 2023 via that cell phone app, was arrested in New York and charged with a double murder after he allegedly stabbed 2 men to death. And back out here live, these two programs combined together have been bringing in roughly 70,000 to 80,000 migrants every single month, and those migrants are not counted in border patrol data because they are not illegal crossing. So, yes, border patrol numbers have been down significantly this year, but those numbers are not a true reflection of the amount of people who are being allowed into the country. Wow. Bill, we'll send it back to you. Speaker 0: Okay, Bill. Thanks. Stay on it. I know you will. Bill Miluzian in Chicago today. Thank you.

Over 30,000 Chinese nationals have crossed illegally into the San Diego sector since October 1st, marking an 8,600% increase compared to the previous fiscal year. This influx of Chinese migrants is part of a well-organized smuggling operation into Southern California, and it seems that little has been done to address the issue. Other nationalities, such as India, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Mauritania, Vietnam, and Guinea, have also been crossing illegally in significant numbers.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

NEW: Another 118 Chinese nationals crossed illegally into San Diego sector yesterday, per CBP sources. I’m told San Diego sector has now had 30,000+ Chinese since October 1st. Other San Diego sector nationalities since 10/1: 8,900+ India 7,800+ Turkey 2,900+ Uzbekistan 4,400+ Mauritania 3,000+ Vietnam 5,600+ Guinea 30,000+ Chinese crossing illegally in San Diego sector since 10/1 is unprecedented. It’s an 8,600% increase over all of fiscal year 2021, when just 342 Chinese nationals crossed illegally - across the entire southern border. There is now an orchestrated, well organized cartel smuggling operation of Chinese into Southern California, and it appears there has essentially been zero effort to stop it.

I'm good. But, how if they're not good? How they have killers, psychopath, else? Mhmm. No guarantee of that. Why, like like, no no security be no no security check. No background check. The men were from Iran, Pakistan, China, Turkey, India, and Bangladesh, with no Mexicans among them. Some of these men are considered "special interest aliens" and should undergo additional vetting by the Department of Homeland Security. This area, located about an hour east of San Diego, has seen an increase in illegal crossings, making the San Diego sector the top location for such activity in recent weeks.

Internal DHS data obtained through a subpoena reveals that hundreds of thousands of migrants have flown into the U.S. through the Biden administration's CHNV mass parole program. Florida received the majority of these migrants, with Miami and Ft. Lauderdale being the top cities. The data also shows a backlog of 1.6 million applicants waiting for DHS approval. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's office criticized the program and is suing to shut it down. Congressman Mark Green argues that the program is an attempt to bypass existing laws. The CHNV program has allowed over 400,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to enter the U.S. The Biden administration defends the program as a lawful pathway and claims it has reduced illegal border crossings. Critics argue that it allows inadmissible migrants to stay in the U.S. with little chance of deportation.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

EXCLUSIVE: Internal DHS data reveals the 45+ U.S. cities that hundreds of thousands of migrants have flown into via the Biden administration's controversial "CHNV" mass parole program. The data was obtained by @HomelandGOP via a subpoena to DHS, and was provided to @FoxNews. The DHS data shows that during an 8 month stretch from January through August 2023, roughly 200,000 migrants flew into the U.S. via the program, with 80% of them, (161,562) arriving in the state of Florida in four cities: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, & Tampa. The top 15 cities migrants flew into, & the numbers during this 8 month window, are below. 1) Miami, FL: 91,821 2) Ft. Lauderdale, FL: 60,461 3) New York City, NY: 14,827 4) Houston, TX: 7,923 5) Orlando, FL: 6,043 6) Los Angeles, CA: 3,271 7) Tampa, FL: 3,237 8) Dallas, TX: 2,256 9) San Francisco, CA: 2,052 10) Atlanta, GA: 1,796 11) Newark, NJ: 1,498 12) Washington, D.C.: 1,472 13) Chicago, IL: 496 14) Las Vegas, NV: 483 15) Austin, TX: 171 I've attached the raw DHS data provided in the subpoena response showing all of the locations the migrants flew into during these 8 months in the chart below. DHS also revealed in the subpoena response that as of October 2023, there was a backlog about 1.6 million applicants waiting for DHS approval to fly to the U.S. via the parole program. In response to the DHS data revealing Florida received the overwhelming majority of migrant flights during the 8 month window, FL. Gov. @RonDeSantis's office provided FOX the following statement: "Biden's parole program is unlawful, and constitutes an abuse of constitutional authority. Florida is currently suing Biden to shut it down, and we believe that we will prevail." - @JeremyRedfernFL, DeSantis' Press Secretary. DHS also wrote in the subpoena response that "All individuals paroled into the United States are, by definition, inadmissible, including those paroled under the CHNV processes." Congressman @RepMarkGreen, Chairman of @HomelandGOP, told FOX in response: "What they're essentially saying is that the laws passed by Congress have said that these people are inadmissible, and so they created a program to try to get around those laws. The thing is, they don't have the authority to create such a program. By their own admission, they're breaking the law." Reminder: The CHNV parole program, created by the Biden admin in January 2023, allows up to 30,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, & Venezuela to bypass the southern border entirely, and fly into the U.S. directly from foreign countries for a two year humanitarian parole grant if they have a sponsor in the U.S., and are vetted/approved for travel. The flights are commercial, and are not funded by taxpayers. The program recipient or their sponsor pays for it, and the parole grant allows the recipient to apply to work. The Biden admin considers the program a "lawful pathway", and the migrants flying into the U.S. via the program are not included in the southern border numbers. According to CBP data, at least 404,000 migrants have flown into the U.S. via the CHNV parole program since it first began: 154,000 Haitians 95,000 Venezuelans 84,000 Cubans 69,000 Nicaraguans So far, legal challenges to this controversial parole program have failed in court. A Texas lawsuit was dismissed earlier this year after a judge ruled the state didn't have standing to sue. More lawsuits are pending. The Biden admin says the program is a lawful use of executive parole authority. They consider the program a success, and believe it provides an incentive to not cross the US border illegally. The numbers of Haitians and Cubans crossing illegally have steeply fallen as a result of the program. Critics say the program essentially waves a magic wand to mass import hundreds of thousands of otherwise inadmissible migrants into the US, with the likelihood of them ever leaving or being deported if they stay past the permitted parole grant being remarkably low.

A Haitian man arrested for raping a disabled girl in Massachusetts came to the US through the Biden administration's parole program for Haitians. The program allows Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to fly into the US with a sponsor after vetting. Since January 2023, at least 138,000 Haitians have been brought to the US through this program. The program aims to reduce illegal border crossings. The authorities have filed a detainer on the suspect, and I am awaiting comments from CBP and DHS.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

BREAKING: Per DHS sources to me & @GriffJenkins, the Haitian man arrested for raping a 15 y/o disabled girl at a migrant hotel in Massachusetts Wednesday night came to the U.S. via the Biden admin’s parole program for Haitians, which allowed him to fly into JFK airport in NYC direct from Haiti in June 2023 w/ a 2 year parole grant. We’re told that ICE has now filed a detainer on 26-year-old Cory B. Alvarez with local authorities, & that he had a sponsor listed in New Jersey as part of his parole. The Biden admin’s controversial CHNV parole program allows up to 30,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to fly into the U.S. after they’ve supposedly been vetted and have a sponsor in the U.S. The recipients typically receive two year “humanitarian parole” grants, which allow them to apply for work authorization and live in the U.S. According to CBP data, at least 138,000 Haitians have been brought to the U.S. since the start of the Biden admin’s program in January 2023. The Biden admin considers this program a “lawful pathway”, and the recipients bypass the border entirely, flying over it instead. The program is an effort to cut down on high numbers of illegal crossings at the border. I reached out to CBP & DHS for comment yesterday, and have not heard back yet. A CBP intelligence bulletin reveals that the Venezuelan prison gang, Tren De Aragua, has been illegally entering the U.S. through the southern border. NEW: CBP source provided an internal CBP intelligence bulletin revealing tattoos/identifiers for Tren De Aragua, the Venezuelan prison gang that has been entering the U.S. illegally through the southern border. Both CBP source & an ICE source expressed frustration that these Venezuelan gang members are extremely difficult to deport because Venezuela won’t take their citizens back right now. They can be removed to Mexico, but I’m told they typically then re-enter the U.S. illegally as a “gotaway.” ICE source: “We have a ton of Venezuelans that we can’t get rid of.” Reminder: According to ICE & CBP data, in fiscal year 2023, there were 335,000 encounters with Venezuelans at the border, but only 834 Venezuelans were deported. Venezuela is currently not taking any removal flights from the U.S.

Jaw-dropping ICE data: Only 834 Venezuelan nationals were deported in fiscal year 2023. Context: There were approx 335,000 Venezuelan nationals encountered in fiscal year 2023. Just over 201,000 of them were apprehended by Border Patrol after crossing illegally. The rest were encountered at ports of entry, which would include CBP One app paroles into the U.S. Venezuela is another uncooperative country - Biden admin made some progress getting them to agree to some removal flights late last year, but those flights stopped in recent weeks. Biden also redesignated Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelans who arrived before July 31, 2023 - shielding around 470,000 of them from deportation. Essentially, less than a drop in the bucket of Venezuelans are being removed.

The Senate border deal includes mandatory detention of single adults, a "shut down" of the border when daily migrant encounters reach 5,000, immediate removal of illegal immigrants without processing once the threshold is reached, and a new removal authority to determine valid asylum claims within 6 months. Family units may be released with ankle monitors. Migrants caught crossing twice during the "shut down" phase would be banned for one year. An agreement with Mexico is needed for non-Mexican illegal immigrants. President Biden approves of the deal and is ready to sign it.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

BREAKING: Senate border deal details, per source familiar I just had a call with. - Mandatory detention of all single adults. - Mandatory “shut down” of border once average daily migrant encounters hits 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 number includes 1,400 CBP One app entries at ports of entry per day, and roughly 3,600 illegal crossings per day. - How is that enforced? Once the 5,000 threshold is hit, a new authority is codified into law that requires Border Patrol to immediately remove illegal immigrants they catch without processing. They would not get to request asylum, they would immediately be removed. This includes removals back to Mexico, and deportations to home countries. This would be a *massive* change from current policy, which is that once an illegal immigrant reaches US soil, they must be processed via Title 8 and allowed to claim asylum. Under this new authority – they are not processed, and they are mandatorily immediately removed once the “shut down” threshold is reached. - This “shut down” also takes effect is there are 8,500 migrant encounters in a single day. - The “shut down” would not lift the next day. It wouldn’t lift until daily encounters are reduced to under 75% of the 5,000 threshold for at least two weeks. This means the “shut down” authority would not lift until two weeks of an average of less than 3,750 migrant encounters per day. - Some family units will be released with ATD (Alternatives to Detention, ankle monitors etc). - New removal authority to immediately remove all migrants who do not have valid asylum claims, which will be determined within 6 months rather than the years long process we have right now. - Any migrant caught trying to cross twice during “shut down” phase would be banned from entering US for one year. - US will need agreement with Mexico for MX to take back non Mexican illegal immigrants. This hasn't been ironed out yet. - President Biden approves of the deal and is ready to sign it as is, right now, and implement the new authority it would give him.

ICE's FY2023 report reveals that deportations have nearly doubled from the previous year, reaching 142,580. However, this number remains small compared to the 2.5 million southern border migrant encounters in FY2023. The implementation of Title 42 has significantly impacted deportation numbers, with over 60,000 expulsions that are not considered deportations. The non-detained docket has increased to over 6 million under Biden, almost doubling since the Trump years, including those with final removal orders and pending cases. Only 212 unaccompanied minors were removed in FY2023, despite 137,275 arrivals at the southern border. The removal of 139 known or suspected terrorists reflects a significant increase compared to previous years. Overall, while ICE enforcement has increased from FY2022, it remains a small fraction compared to the influx of migrants. Trump's ICE removals were notably higher, even with fewer border crossings.

@BillMelugin_ - Bill Melugin

BREAKING: ICE just dropped its FY2023 report. Highlights 👇🏻 - ICE made 142,580 deportations, nearly doubling FY’22, but still a small fraction of the nearly 2.5 million southern border migrant encounters in FY’23 & a steep drop from Trump years. ICE says Title 42 lowered deportation numbers, & they expelled over 60,000 via Title 42, which aren’t deportations. - The non-detained (released) docket has exploded to over 6 million, almost doubling under Biden since the Trump years. This includes illegal immigrants who have been issued final orders of removal, as well as those with pending cases, which includes those who were issued notices to appear. - ICE removed only 212 unaccompanied minors in FY’23, despite 137,275 arriving at the southern border in FY’23. The Biden administration is removing less than a drop in the bucket when it comes to these unaccompanied minors. - ICE deported 139 known or suspected terrorists in FY’23, a huge jump from recent years reflecting more terror watchlist suspects arriving at the southern border than ever before. Previous high in last six years was 2019 with 58 terror removals. Overall takeaway: ICE enforcement up significantly from FY’22, but still a small fraction compared to the millions coming across the border. ICE enforcement during Trump years was significantly higher despite much smaller numbers of people coming across the border. For perspective, Trump’s worst year was 2019, when there were 851,000 migrant encounters at the southern border. Biden just had back to back years of 2.3 million and 2.4 million, and Trump’s ICE removals were still significantly higher.
