The Lavon Affair The Lavon Affair was a failed Israeli covert false flag operation conducted in Egypt in the summer of 1954. A group of Egyptian Jews were recruited by Israeli Military Intelligence to plant bombs inside Egyptian-, American-, and British-owned civilian targets like cinemas, libraries, and American educational centers. The plan was to carry out the bombings and then blame the bombings on various Muslim groups in an attempt to force the British to keep their military presence in Egypt. Israel may have been created after the end of WWII in 1948 but tensions had existed between the Jews and Muslims over who got what lands in the Palestine region since before even the Balfour declaration (the legal document from the British promising Jews the Palestine region) was signed in 1917. This American Pro-Egyptian nationalist policy meant the British – who occupied Egypt at the time – would begin withdrawing their troops from the country. This withdraw of the British from Egypt also meant Israel would lose most of the influence they had over Egypt and, even more importantly to Israel, this withdraw of the British meant Israel would lose their influence over the Suez Canal. It also potentially meant Israel would have to fight another war to secure influence over those critical locations again. With the Suez canal being vitally important for controlling the trade routes that dominate the Middle East region, the Israelis knew they had to do something to stop this withdraw of British troops and their subsequent loss of regional control, so they initiated Operation Susannah (more popularly known as the Lavon Affair). The goal of Operation Susannah was to carry out bombings and other acts of sabotage in Egypt with the aim of creating a sense that a British withdraw from the country would create such instability in the region that the nationalist aspirations for Egypt would be dropped by America and the international community. Israeli author Doron Geller stated the intent was to “make it clear to the whole world that Egypt’s new rulers were nothing but a group of foolhardy extremists, unreliable and unworthy of taking charge of an asset as important as the Suez Canal. Furthermore, it was to be demonstrated that their grasp on power was uncertain, that they faced powerful internal opposition, and, consequently, they were unworthy of being counted upon as a dependable ally.” The Israelis tasked a covert unit called Unit 131 with carrying out Project Susannah. This Unit was a composed of Egyptian nationals of Jewish heritage who had been recruited in Egypt to do covert missions on behalf of the new Israeli state and in spring of 1954 the unit was activated. On July 2, 1954 Unit 131 detonated a few bombs at an Egyptian Post Office in Alexandria. 12 days later - on July 14th - the Unit bombed the libraries of the US Information Agency in Alexandria as well as a British-owned theater. And finally, nine days later, on July 23rd 1954, Unit 131 took firebombs to the Cairo railway station and to movie theaters in Cairo and Alexandria. Unfortunately for Unit 131, during the July 23rd attack a bomb began to prematurely detonate in the pocket of one of the Israeli spies and he was taken in to custody by Egyptian police. The police would find the bomb on the spy as well as evidence in the apartment of the captured spy leading them to the rest of Unit 131. Ultimately 11 members of Unit 131 were arrested and, by the time it was all said and done, two of the member of Unit 131 committed suicide in prison, two were hanged, two escaped back to Israel, and most of the others got prison time. After the British left Egypt, the Suez Canal would become nationalized by the Egyptians and would fall under Egyptian control. This would lead the Israels to go on to invade Egypt two years later with the support of the British and the French in what’s known as the Suez Crisis or the Second Arab-Israeli war. The attempted invasion of Egypt would fail after intense international pressure condemned it and threatened action against Israel and the other invading countries for their invasion. The Lavon Affair differs from the other events in this article because rather than being a single event it was – or at least it was planned to be before it was prematurely foiled – a series of events to terrorize targets in to submitting to a political end. I think it shows that although a singular false flag event can be useful, a series of events over a period of time is another useful tool in the bag of people carrying out false flag attacks to terrorize a populace in to submission to their political goals. Multiple operations obviously carry more risk than a single operation but they can be an equally effective method of false flag and can keep a population in a state of fear for a prolonged period of time.

They seldom have much of an ideology outside of the vain pursuit of stardom and money So if you have billions of dollars and a political agenda find the best actor you can, hire them, train them on the talking points you want the public to hear, and promise them fame if they act in defense of those viewpoints effectively to the public The actors gets their fame and you get a mindless talking head of a henchmen to sell your political agenda to the masses without expending or risking your own reputation, time, or energy Conversely, the last person you would want to hire as the billionaire would be the political philosopher. A group of Egyptian Jews was recruited by Israeli Military Intelligence to plant bombs inside Egyptian-, American-, and British-owned civilian targets such as cinemas, libraries, and American educational centers. The plan was to carry out the bombings and then blame them on various Muslim groups in an attempt to force the British to maintain their military presence in Egypt. In the early 1950s, the U.S. initiated a policy supporting Egyptian nationalism. This American pro-Egyptian nationalist policy meant that the British—who were then occupying Egypt—would begin withdrawing their troops, and Israel would lose much of the influence it held over Egypt. Most critically, the British withdrawal meant Israel would lose its influence over the Suez Canal through its British allies. Since the Suez Canal was vitally important for controlling the trade routes that dominated the Middle East region, the Israelis knew they had to act to stop the British withdrawal and the subsequent loss of regional control. Thus, they initiated Operation Susannah (more popularly known as the Lavon Affair). The goal of Operation Susannah was to carry out bombings and other acts of sabotage in Egypt, with the aim of creating the perception that a British withdrawal would cause such instability that the British would be forced to remain—thereby allowing Israel to maintain influence and control over Egypt and the invaluable Suez Canal. The Israelis tasked Unit 131—a top-secret Israeli IDF task force—with carrying out Operation Susannah, and in the spring of 1954, the unit was activated. On July 2, 1954, Unit 131 detonated several bombs at an Egyptian post office in Alexandria. Twelve days later, on July 14, the unit bombed the libraries of the U.S. Information Agency in Alexandria as well as a British-owned theater. Finally, on July 23, 1954, Unit 131 firebombed the Cairo railway station and several movie theaters in Cairo and Alexandria. However, during the July 23 attack, one of the bombs began to detonate prematurely in the pocket of one of the Israeli spies, and he was taken into custody by Egyptian police. The police found evidence in the apartment of the captured spy that led them to the rest of Unit 131. Ultimately, eleven members of the unit were arrested. By the time the affair concluded, most of the bombers received prison sentences, and two were hanged. After the British left Egypt, the Suez Canal was nationalized and came under Egyptian control. Two years later, Israel invaded Egypt with the support of the British and French in what became known as the Suez Crisis or the Second Arab-Israeli War. The invasion failed after intense international pressure condemned the operation and threatened consequences against the invading nations. The Lavon Affair shows that false flag attacks can be decentralized and unfold over time. It also demonstrates that, in the midst of the fear such attacks provoke, it can be very difficult to determine who is actually responsible. I’d like to explain the republic…and its incredible levels of debauchery, meaninglessness, sex, drugs, and—of course—Jews. “The decay of moral values in all areas of life—the period of deepest German degradation—coincided exactly with the height of Jewish power in Germany.” -Karl Wiehe Background The Weimar Republic is the unofficial name—that was popularized by Adolf Hitler—of the German nation-state that existed from November of 1918 to March of 1933. It was named for the city of Weimar, Germany where the constitutional assembly that established the new German republic met. The official name of the republic was the German Reich. The Weimar Republic was established after Germany’s loss in WWI. Germany was forced under the Treaty of Versailles to accept “full responsibility” for the war and pay the debts of all the allied countries. Being forced to pay these massive debts devastated the German economy and skyrocketed inflation, unemployment, and suicide within Germany. At one point 40% of Germans were unemployed and many were homeless. In 1932, the German suicide rate was more than three times that of Great Britain and in one two-year period, Germany had more suicides than there had been deaths of American soldiers in all of WWI. The German currency became the most worthless currency in Europe. A loaf of bread in Berlin that cost around 160 German Marks at the end of 1922, cost 200,000,000,000 German Marks by late 1923. The German peoples’ life savings and purchasing power had melted away over the course of a few months. With a single US dollar being worth 4,210,500,000,000 German Marks by November of 1923, foreign currencies had much greater buying power in Germany. So naturally, foreigners flocked to Germany to take advantage of the cheap prices. With these foreigners arriving en masse, Germans desperate for work turned to one of primary industries the foreigners flocked to Germany for: the sex industry. Sex and Drugs Germans began flocking to urban hubs in search of work, and no urban hub was more popular than Berlin. Prostitution in Berlin wasn’t explicitly legal but existed in a kind of legal gray area where certain aspects of the sex trade were regulated while others remained unregulated. However, enforcement of any laws restricting prostitution was lax to non-existent. On any given night up to 100,000 prostitutes would line the streets of Berlin. Every type of prostitute was available: midgets, pregnant prostitutes who lined up on the street according to how pregnant they were, prostitutes that purposefully tried to be ugly, prostitutes with acid-scarred faces, prostitutes with missing limbs, mother and daughter prostitute pairs, dominatrixes, even hunchback prostitutes. Interracial, inter-generational, forced or abusive sex acts were all available for the right price. There was also a large male prostitution industry and homosexual men from across Europe came to Germany to pay for homosexual sex. And unlike most cities, Berlin boasted having not a single red-light district—but multiple. Child prostitutes were bought and sold in Weimar Berlin in a booming industry. Advertisements for child prostitutes were even placed in German magazines and newspapers. A person could order a child, or any other type of prostitute for that matter, over the phone and have them a few short minutes later. British historian Sir Arthur Bryant describes throngs of child prostitutes outside the doors of the great Berlin hotels and restaurants. Bryant adds, “most of them—the night clubs and vice resorts—were owned and managed by Jews. And it was the Jews among the promoters of this trade who were remembered in after years.” There were homosexual, lesbian, and even transsexual bars where, occasionally, public masturbation and orgies took place. These homosexual bars weren’t isolated or rare one-off outliers either, there were over 50 lesbian bars in Berlin and around 100 homosexual bars total. Drag shows and cross dressing were commonplace in these bars. Sexual acts involving torture or acts bringing a victim close to death, or even—in some instances—to death were performed in Weimar Germany (called Lustmord). As often happens when violent sexual perversions arise, so too do serial killers playing out their fetishes in reality. I refuse to name serial killers in my writings because I think it glorifies them, but you can look them up yourself. German Newspapers devoted entire sections to the violent sexual crimes of these serial killers and fictional accounts of murders sold very well on German book stands. Serial Killers had a romanticized lore around them, similar to what we see in western society today. Alongside prostitution and homosexual clubs, porn also enjoyed a golden age during the Weimar Republic. Like prostitution, porn existed in a kind of legal gray area where enforcement of any regulations on it were lax to non-existent. Images could be purchased under-the-counter at most street media kiosks. According to one report there were as many as 30 homosexual publications on any given Berlin media kiosk. Above all, pornography featuring models who bore a resemblance to the biggest movie stars of the day, such as Marlene Dietrich or Greta Garbo, were in the highest demand. Fashion began to blur the lines between masculine and feminine. The female image began to experiment with a more strong-willed independent tone and some women began to dress in masculine clothing. Similarly, male fashion began to experiment with feminization and cross-dressing amongst men began to rise. Berlin’s women began to question the need for a man in their lives at all and many Berlin women had no desire to start or raise a family. Drug use in the Weimar Republic also ran rampant and Berlin gained a reputation as a drug dealing hub around Germany and Europe. Cocaine was the most popular drug in the Weimar Republic and only required a simple prescription from a doctor. That said, opium (a predecessor to heroin), morphine and amphetamines were all readily available and extensively used as well. The drug usage was so pervasive there was even experimentation with using drugs for “scientific” sexual purposes. One of the chief “scientists” behind this experimentation with sex was a man named Magnus Hirshfeld. Magnus Hirschfeld was a homosexual Jew and one of the thought leaders behind the sexual debauchery overtaking Berlin. Hirschfeld had founded political organizations that fought for the rights of homosexuals in Germany well before the Weimar era and as far back as 1896. He led the campaign to overturn a statue of German Law called Paragraph 175 which forbid homosexuality in Germany. Hirschfeld would later go on to write a 1914 book called The Homosexuality of Men and Women in which he attempted to prove homosexuality occurred in every society around the world. Hirschfeld’s crowning achievement of debauchery, however, occurred in July of 1919 when he opened The Institute of Sexual Research (Institut für Sexualwissenschaft) in Berlin. The institute’s stated purpose was to establish the sexual sciences…and establish the sexual sciences the institute did. It was at the Institute of Sexual Research where the initial rubric for the innumerable genders we see in leftism today originated. At the institute, Hirschfeld developed a system which categorized 64 possible types of sexual intermediary (aka genders) and it was Hirschfeld who coined the term transvestite in 1910 and the term transsexual in 1923. The institute even performed sex re-assignment surgery. The Institute of Sexual Research also housed a large library for any and all homosexual, transsexual, and erotic literature. The institute had places for homosexuals to stay overnight as well as some of the first counseling services specifically tailored to homosexuals. Homosexual-specific medical services were provided in the institute as well. The institute also housed the Museum of Sex, an educational resource for the public, which was reported to have been visited by school classes. I think the writer Luigi Barzini most succinctly summarized the rampant debauchery that was Weimar Berlin when he said: “I saw pimps offering anything to anybody: little boys, little girls, robust young men, libidinous women, animals. The story went the rounds that a male goose whose neck you cut at just the right ecstatic moment would give you the most delicious frisson of all—as it allowed you to enjoy sod*my, bestiality, homosexuality, necrophilia, and sadism at one stroke.” A debaucherous infestation had overtaken Berlin and nowhere was that more evident than in the arts. Art, Music, and Film Art, music, and film in Berlin were overtaken by the sexual revolution and a move toward a Jewish-influenced anti-authoritarianism as well. The Berlin film industry started releasing risqué and homosexual films. The world’s first known homosexual film—Anders als die Andern (1919)—came out in Berlin during the Weimar era and is the story a man falling in love with one of his male violin students. This film was written by and featured none other than Magnus Hirschfeld himself. Another film called Mädchen in Uniform (1931) is about a schoolgirl who falls in love with her female teacher. The two commence a forbidden love and eventually even share an on-screen lesbian kiss on the mouth. The film ends when this lesbian love is exposed and the protagonist attempts suicide. German expressionist cinema also came to prominence in the Weimar Republic. This form of cinema emphasized depicting the artist's inner emotions (no matter how crude those emotions may be) rather than attempting to replicate reality. Two of the three key figures for the German expressionist movement were the Jews Fritz Lang and Robert Wiene. The expressionist film Metropolis was one of the biggest films of the Weimar era. Metropolis’ content is emblematic of the anti-authoritarian and communist messages of German expressionist cinema. The film takes place in a futuristic city where a beautiful and cultured utopia exists above a bleak underworld populated by mistreated workers. When a privileged young man discovers the grim scene under the city, he becomes intent on helping the workers. He befriends a rebellious teacher which puts him at odds with his authoritative father. The film was directed the Jew Fritz Lang and produced by the Jew Erich Pommer. The credits of the films of the Berlin movie industry were also littered with Jews. In fact, in 1931, over 60 percent of German films were produced by Jews and 82 percent of film scripts were written by Jews. In the art scene, a thoroughly anti-authoritarian and communist movement called Dada arose. The Dadaist movement was comprised of artists who rejected the logic, reason, and aestheticism of modern capitalist society, instead expressing nonsense, irrationality, and anti-bourgeois protest in their works. Dadaist works opposed any type of authority and made fun of far-right figures, including Hitler himself. According to Wikipedia, some sources claim the Dadaist movement was founded by a group of Jewish modernist artists. In music, one of the most popular singers of the day was a woman who was largely regarded as “the first official lesbian of Berlin” named Claire Waldoff. Waldoff dressed masculine and made no secret of her sexuality while actively trying to convert other culturally important women to become lesbian. One culturally important woman Waldoff succeeded in converting to bisexuality was one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Marlene Dietrich. Marlene was famous for pushing social norms and sometimes wore a tuxedo, helping to erode the image of traditionally masculine and traditionally feminine roles. Marlene credits Clarie Waldoff as “introducing her to lesbian love”. Marlene Deitrich was openly bisexual and an icon for homosexual women around the world when no other homosexual icons existed. One newspaper dubbed Dietrich “perhaps the busiest and most passionate bisexual in theatrical Berlin.” Anita Berber was one of the most popular nude dancers of the Weimar Republic and danced to songs with titles like, suicide, morphiem, and mad house. One of her husbands was also openly homosexual. In one famous story about Anita, she was being ignored by one of the tables she was dancing for, so she went over to the table, stood on top of it, and started peeing on the table while drinking their champagne. What a gal… Architecture One aesthetic element that I think tends to be overlooked in most writings on social decay is architecture. It should come as no surprise that the principal architecture movement of the Weimar Republic—called expressionist architecture—also took a turn from an aesthetic focused on beauty and perfection toward an aesthetic that focused on “distortion of form to create an emotional effect”. This is architecture that’s generally perceived as hideous or repulsive. I’d also argue there’s a larger psychological component to this expressionist architecture. This ugly architecture contributes to social decay by glorifying the more disgusting elements of society and humanity. It subconsciously undermines the idea that society should strive for perfection and instead is a call to accept society’s more heinous elements. This repulsive architecture is, in my view, anti-authoritarian and destructive to social norms. Two of the key architects of the expressionist architecture movement were the Jews Bruno Taut and Erich Mendelsohn. Jews One of the key factors in Hitler’s rise to power was his opposition of the Jewish influence inside Berlin. As such, this article would be incomplete without looking at the Jewish influence that existed inside Berlin or—possibly more importantly—the German public’s perception of the Jewish influence inside Berlin. Here are some of the figures I think best illustrate the Jewish over-representation in the Weimar Republic. All these figures should be viewed in consideration of this fact: Jews made up less than 1% (.09%) of the German population in the years of the Weimar Republic. In my opinion, these figures are staggering primarily because of the Jews’ immense over-representation in major positions of power within German society. Politics • The author of the 1919 German constitution was the Jew Hugo Preuss. • One quarter of the members of the 8-person Council of the People's Deputies that established the Weimar Republic were Jews (Otto Landesberg and Hugo Haase). • The main competing faction against the official Weimar government was headed by the Jew Kurt Eisner. • The SPD (Social Democratic Party of Germany) was the political party that primarily ran the Weimar Republic. 22% of the entirety of the SPD were Jews. • The SPD’s main political theorist was a Jew: Eduard Bernstein • Two of the political thinkers most respected by the SPD were Jews: Ferdinand Lassalle, Leopold Sonnemann. • SPD's “foremost theoretician of this century” was the Jew Rudolf Hilferding. • SPD Key Figure, industrialist, and political thinker Walther Rathenau was a Jew. • The Vice President of the Berlin Police was the jew Bernhard Weiss. • In the first Weimar administration Vice Chancellor Eugen Schiffer was Jewish as was Weimar Interior Minister Erich Koch-Weser. • 15% of the members of the Reichstag (German Parliament) were Jewish. • A large number of the members of the political elite of the Weimar Republic were Jews: Rosa Luxemburg, Paul Levi, Ernst Toller, Erich Muhsam, Gustav Landauer, Eugen Levine, and Karl Radek. The Press • The Ullstein Press was the publisher of many of the largest German newspapers and was owned by the Jew Leopold Ullstein. • The Berliner Iliustrirte Zeitung was one of the largest German newspapers. It was Published by the Ullstein Press and its chief editor was the Jew Kurt Korff. • The Vossische Zeitung was another of the largest German newspapers and was published by the Ullstein Press. Its chief editor was the Jew Georg Bernhard. • Another of the othe r largest newspaper publishers was the Jew Rudolf Mosse. • The Berliner Tageblatt was the largest of Rudolf Mosse’s newspapers and its chief editor was the Jew Theodor Wolff • Editor-in-chief of the SPD’s party paper Vorwärts was the Jew Friedrich Stampfer The Arts • The Jew Erich Pommer was a German-born film producer and executive. According to Wikipedia, “Pommer was perhaps the most powerful person in the German and European film industries in the 1920s and early 1930s.” • In 1931, over 60 percent of German films were produced by Jews and 82 percent of film scripts were written by Jewish writers. • Two of the three key figures for the largest film movement of the Weimar era—the German expressionist movement—were the Jews Fritz Lang and Robert Wiene. • Two of the key Architects of the expressionist architecture movement were the Jews Bruno Taut and Erich Mendelsohn. • Some of the most influential producers, directors, & actors in Weimar cinema were Jews as well to name a few: Paul Davidson, Joseph Mandel, Jules Greenbaum, Max Reinhardt, Josef Von Sternberg, Fritz Kohn, Otto Wallburg, Peter Lowenstein. • To conclude the arts, some claim the anti-authoritarian and thoroughly communist Dadaist movement was founded by a group of Jewish modernist artists. Sex • Magnus Hirschfeld was Jewish. He was dubbed "the Einstein of Sex". He was president of World League of Sexual Reform and of course, founder of the Institute for Sexual Research. • Ivan Bloch was Jewish and is often called the "first Sexologist". • As quoted by Sir Arthur Bryant earlier, “most of them—the night clubs and vice resorts—were owned and managed by Jews. And it was the Jews among the promoters of this trade who were remembered in after years.” Other notable Jewish over-representations: (**Please Note** these next five bullet points are not official numbers and are from a NSDAP piece that was distributed in Weimar Germany. I'm including them because although I can't be completely sure of their accuracy, I think they most likely do generally represent the amalgamations of Jewish power in Weimar society. And, at the very least, these numbers represent the German public’s perception of Jewish amalgamations of power in Weimar society): • 56% of notaries were Jews. • 52% of doctors were Jews. • 45% of Hospital Directors were Jews. • 48% of lawyers were Jews. • 35% of dentists were Jews. One last note on the Jews of the Weimar Republic. I included a link with more detail below, but many Weimar Jews actively tried to conceal their Jewish identity and even went so far as bragging to other Jews when gentiles were unable to identify them. This is one of the reasons that, to this day, it’s somewhat difficult to identify who the Jews of the Weimar Republic were. What this means is that, although the identity of every Jew I list is verified, there are undoubtedly other prominent and non-prominent Jews I was unable to identify. The provided list should not be viewed as wholly representative of the Jewish influence within Weimar Germany. But even just considering the provided list, you can see the Jewish influence was substantial for a race of people comprising less than 1% of the total German population. This Jewish over-representation is even more substantial when you consider that many of these Jewish amalgamations of over-representation occurred within many of Germany’s most important social, political, and economic institutions. The Weimar Republic was often referred to as the "Juden Republic" (Jew's Republic) by Germans. I think it's easy to see why... Enter the National Socialists After Hitler’s rise to power in 1933, Goebbels and the Brownshirts began shutting down the homosexual dive bars that had risen to prominence during the Weimar Republic. They made one of the most popular homosexual bars in Berlin their headquarters after shutting it down. They pillaged Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institute for Sexual Research and Hirschfeld’s books on transsexual ideology were some of the first books the National Socialists burned. From Wikipedia itself, the books the National Socialists burned were: • Writings on sexuality and sexual education which serve the egocentric pleasure of the individual and thus, destroy the principles of race and Volk. • Pornography and explicit literature. • Pacifist literature. • All books degrading German purity. • Literature by Jewish authors, regardless of the field. • Popular entertainment literature that depicts life and life's goals in a superficial, unrealistic and sickly sweet manner, based on a bourgeois or upper class view of life. • The works of traitors, emigrants and authors from foreign countries who believe they can attack and denigrate the new Germany. • The literature of Marxism, Communism and Bolshevism. • Literature with liberal, democratic tendencies and attitudes, and writings supporting the Weimar Republic. • Books that advocate "art" which is decadent, bloodless, or purely constructivist. • The decadent, destructive and Volk-damaging writings of "Asphalt and Civilization" literati • Patriotic kitsch in literature. • All historical writings whose purpose is to denigrate the origin, the spirit and the culture of the German Volk, or to dissolve the racial and structural order of the Volk, or that denies the force and importance of leading historical figures in favor of egalitarianism and the masses, and which seeks to drag them through the mud. Very quickly after Hitler’s rise to power in 1933, the chief purveyors of the degeneracy that had overtaken Berlin would leave the city and National Socialist Germany would rise from its ashes. WWI: The Sinking of RMS Lusitania RMS Lusitania was a British civilian ocean liner that was torpedoed by an Imperial German Navy U-boat (U-20) during the First World War on May 7th, 1915. 1,197 people - most of whom were civilians - were killed in the sinking of Lusitania, 128 of them were Americans. The sinking of Lusitania is generally regarded as the event that rallied a US populace - a populace that was tepid about entering an ongoing war an ocean away - in to supporting US involvement in WWI. The sinking of Lusitania is shrouded with mysterious circumstances... Leading up to the attack on Lusitania, the Germans had repeatedly warned the British they would fire on ships (even civilian ones) that were transporting ammunition for the British in WWI. However, despite these warnings, Winston Churchill, the head of the British Navy, had been transporting ammunition for WWI on British ocean liners for some time. Churchill had even gone so far as to give orders to the captains of merchant ships, including ocean liners, to ram German submarines if they encountered them. The Germans, on the other hand, had printed warnings in American newspapers warning passengers on British ships that “vessels flying the flag of Great Britain...are subject to destruction in those waters...travelers sailing in the war zone...do so at their own risk.” Interestingly, one week before the attack on Lusitania, Churchill wrote to Walter Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, that it was “most important to attract neutral shipping to our shores, in the hopes especially of embroiling the United States with Germany.” On 7 May 1915, RMS Lusitania was nearing the completion of its voyage from New York to Liverpool and was roughly 11 miles off the southern coast of Ireland. British intelligence was aware a German U-Boat was in the waters near Lusitania’s route yet did nothing to warn Lusitania of the U-Boat. In addition, the British battle ship Juno that was supposed to have been serving as an escort to Lusitania that day had been called back to port shortly after it rendezvoused with Lusitania because there was “no urgent necessity” for it to accompany Lusitania. As Lusitania crossed the path of U-20, it was traveling ~20% slower than its average speed. This is of particular interest because torpedoes at that time had trouble hitting faster moving targets yet, for some still unknown reason, the speed of Lusitania had been deliberately reduced. U-20 knew of Lusitania and had evidence the ship was carrying armaments for the war (which it was). U-20 fired a single torpedo at Lusitania which struck the ship and exploded. However, moments after the torpedo strike by U-20 a mysterious second, larger explosion took place according to survivor reports. The ship sunk in just 18 minutes and claimed 1,197 lives. The second explosion on Lusitania is of particular interest. The Germans knew their torpedoes would take time to sink Lusitania and didn’t expect the ship to sink as quickly as it did. They even acknowledged so much in their official response to the sinking of Lusitania saying “there can be no doubt that the rapid sinking of Lusitania was primarily due to the explosion of the cargo of ammunition caused by the torpedo. Otherwise, in all human probability, the passengers would have been saved.” Their statement implies that the torpedo was meant more as a warning shot to stop the transport of armaments on civilian ships by the British, not necessarily to kill the passengers of the ship. The Lusitania disaster was covered in American media relentlessly at the time and is largely accepted to be the impetus that got America to enter WWI. Yet the mystery of Lusitania continued to even grow after its sinking. Research on Lusitania, the munitions it was carrying, or the mysterious second explosion are now near impossible because the British used Lusitania for testing their underwater explosives after WWI which has caused the wreckage to “look like Swiss cheese”. And although Lusitania is in water that’s only ~300 feet deep the British government to this day hampers any efforts to explore the wreckage through threats of litigation of the explorers and complex legal restraints. No independent third party has been allowed to seriously and thoroughly review the wreckage of Lusitania even 110 years after its sinking. As Churchill stressed in his memoirs of World War I, embroiling neutral countries in hostilities with the enemy was a crucial part of warfare: “There are many kinds of maneuvres in war, some only of which take place on the battlefield. . . . The maneuvre which brings an ally into the field is as serviceable as that which wins a great battle.” While Lusitania was certainly torpedoed by the Germans, the events leading up to its sinking, the sinking itself, the mysterious second explosion, and the subsequent events that appear to be nothing but attempts to conceal what evidence might be in the wreckage lend credence to the idea that the sinking of Lusitania was an orchestrated false flag event by the British to draw the Americans in to WWI.

WWII: The Attack on Pearl Harbor The attack on Pearl Harbor was a "surprise” military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service against the US. naval base at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 7th, 1941. The attack killed 2,403 people and is widely regarded as the primary reason the US entered WWII To understand the Pearl Harbor attack, you have to understand its background. In 1940 on the campaign trail for re-election FDR assured Americans the US would not enter any foreign wars. In a famous campaign statement in 1940 FDR even stated, "I have said this before, and I shall say it again and again and again: Your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars." Support for the US entering WWII was extremely low in 1940. In fact, one Gallup poll showed just 7% of Americans in support of the US entering the war (pictured). However, while FDR was paying lip service to peace, his actions were in direct contradiction to his words... FDR repealed an arms embargo in 1939 that had previously forced the US to be neutral in supplying arms to European nations for the war so that the US could instead unilaterally support Britain. He initiated a peacetime draft in 1940. He signed in to law the Lend-Lease Act of 1941 that directly supplied the allies with arms over the Axis powers. He even had naval patrols accompany civilian ships before the US entered the war, one of which - the USS Greer - even engaged a German U-Boat 3 months before the US officially entered the war. FDR also worked with Winston Churchill to issue the Atlantic Charter – a document announcing the British and US goals for the war after WWII - in August of 1941 and before the US entered the war. However, the actions in the previous paragraph weren’t the primary cause of the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor, there were other actions FDR took against the Japanese directly that would lead to that attack. These actions began with FDR imposing sanctions on Japan as a result of Japan's invasion of Indo-China (more or less modern day Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos). Although the Japanese actions in Indo-China didn’t effect the US directly FDR said he had concerns about Japan's "aggressive expansion" in the region. In 1940 FDR formalized US aide to China to oppose the Japanese and throughout 1940 he would gradually increase the aid that was being given by the US to China while simultaneously gradually strengthening the US embargo on Japan. However, despite FDR strengthening the sanctions against Japan the Japanese had no intention of pulling out of Indo-China and continued to oppose the involvement of America and the West in Asian affairs. Diplomatic relations between Japan and the US deteriorated and on July 26, 1941 – just a few moths before the attack on Pearl Harbor - FDR seized all Japanese assets in the United States in retaliation for the Japanese moves. The ultimate result of the sanctions was that Japan lost access to three-fourths of their overseas trade and 88 percent of its imported oil. Japan made multiple concessions to the US but FDR refused to budge on the sanctions. The Japanese claim the sanctions against Japan and FDR’s refusal to negotiate with them are what instigated Japan to attack Pearl Harbor. They claim their hope was that by carrying out the attack FDR would go back to the negotiating table with them. Meanwhile, the US claimed the territorial expansion ambitions of Japan in Asia were justification for the stiff sanctions and other actions the US took against Japan. Even though FDR's actions against Japan very likely seem to indicate an provocative intent toward Japan, there's an argument to be made that the lead up to the attack on Pearl Harbor may have been nothing more than political negotiations failing without a provocative intent behind them. However, saying the US and FDR didn't have evidence that Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor is very hard to view in the same innocuous light. A few months before the attack in August of 1941 Congressman Martin Dies collected evidence the attack on Pearl Harbor was being planned and was even in possession of a strategic map of the Pearl Harbor attack prepared by the Japanese Imperial Navy that he is said to have presented to FDR himself. In addition to Dies's evidence, a Soviet agent named Richard Sorge and a British double agent named Dusko Popov both independently came across and reported evidence to their respective superiors that an attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor was being planned. This information is said to have been given to the FDR administration but no action was taken. In addition to all this, US codebreakers had been deciphering communications from Japan for months before Pearl Harbor and had considerable evidence an attack on the US was incoming. One famous message, called the Winds Message, was intercepted just a single day before the Pearl Harbor attack. The message was sent by the Japanese government to Japanese embassies and consulates instructing Japanese diplomats to destroy their codebooks and other sensitive documents and prepare for potential hostilities. Despite intercepting this message, the FDR administration did nothing to notify military commanders at Pearl Harbor or elsewhere to prepare for an attack FDR would go on to call the attack on Pearl Harbor “the day that will live in infamy” and the attack would act as the impetus for the US to enter WWII. Just like the attack on Lusitania the attack on Pearl Harbor was very real. The Japanese certainly did attack and kill Americans at Pearl Harbor. However, even if you think the the events that spurred the tensions that lead up to the attack on Pearl Harbor are discounted as simple politics, the very obvious signs and warnings of the attack that were ignored point to something larger and more coordinated taking place by FDR’s administration to allow the attack as an excuse to enter an unpopular war.

The Lavon Affair The Lavon Affair was a failed Israeli covert false flag operation conducted in Egypt in the summer of 1954. A group of Egyptian Jews were recruited by Israeli Military Intelligence to plant bombs inside Egyptian-, American-, and British-owned civilian targets like cinemas, libraries, and American educational centers. The plan was to carry out the bombings and then blame the bombings on various Muslim groups in an attempt to force the British to keep their military presence in Egypt. Israel may have been created after the end of WWII in 1948 but tensions had existed between the Jews and Muslims over who got what lands in the Palestine region since before even the Balfour declaration (the legal document from the British promising Jews the Palestine region) was signed in 1917. And when the British officially withdrew from Palestine in 1948 Israel immediately went to war with its new neighbors over territorial disputes in what became known as the First Arab-Israeli War. Despite the First Arab-Israeli War, in the early 1950s, the US initiated a policy in favor of Egyptian nationalism. This American Pro-Egyptian nationalist policy meant the British – who occupied Egypt at the time – would begin withdrawing their troops from the country. This withdraw of the British from Egypt also meant Israel would lose most of the influence they had over Egypt and, even more importantly to Israel, this withdraw of the British meant Israel would lose their influence over the Suez Canal. It also potentially meant Israel would have to fight another war to secure influence over those critical locations again. With the Suez canal being vitally important for controlling the trade routes that dominate the Middle East region, the Israelis knew they had to do something to stop this withdraw of British troops and their subsequent loss of regional control, so they initiated Operation Susannah (more popularly known as the Lavon Affair). The goal of Operation Susannah was to carry out bombings and other acts of sabotage in Egypt with the aim of creating a sense that a British withdraw from the country would create such instability in the region that the nationalist aspirations for Egypt would be dropped by America and the international community. Israeli author Doron Geller stated the intent was to “make it clear to the whole world that Egypt’s new rulers were nothing but a group of foolhardy extremists, unreliable and unworthy of taking charge of an asset as important as the Suez Canal. Furthermore, it was to be demonstrated that their grasp on power was uncertain, that they faced powerful internal opposition, and, consequently, they were unworthy of being counted upon as a dependable ally.” The Israelis tasked a covert unit called Unit 131 with carrying out Project Susannah. This Unit was a composed of Egyptian nationals of Jewish heritage who had been recruited in Egypt to do covert missions on behalf of the new Israeli state and in spring of 1954 the unit was activated. On July 2, 1954 Unit 131 detonated a few bombs at an Egyptian Post Office in Alexandria. 12 days later - on July 14th - the Unit bombed the libraries of the US Information Agency in Alexandria as well as a British-owned theater. And finally, nine days later, on July 23rd 1954, Unit 131 took firebombs to the Cairo railway station and to movie theaters in Cairo and Alexandria. Unfortunately for Unit 131, during the July 23rd attack a bomb began to prematurely detonate in the pocket of one of the Israeli spies and he was taken in to custody by Egyptian police. The police would find the bomb on the spy as well as evidence in the apartment of the captured spy leading them to the rest of Unit 131. Ultimately 11 members of Unit 131 were arrested and, by the time it was all said and done, two of the member of Unit 131 committed suicide in prison, two were hanged, two escaped back to Israel, and most of the others got prison time. After the British left Egypt, the Suez Canal would become nationalized by the Egyptians and would fall under Egyptian control. This would lead the Israels to go on to invade Egypt two years later with the support of the British and the French in what’s known as the Suez Crisis or the Second Arab-Israeli war. The attempted invasion of Egypt would fail after intense international pressure condemned it and threatened action against Israel and the other invading countries for their invasion. The Lavon Affair differs from the other events in this article because rather than being a single event it was – or at least it was planned to be before it was prematurely foiled – a series of events to terrorize targets in to submitting to a political end. I think it shows that although a singular false flag event can be useful, a series of events over a period of time is another useful tool in the bag of people carrying out false flag attacks to terrorize a populace in to submission to their political goals. Multiple operations obviously carry more risk than a single operation but they can be an equally effective method of false flag and can keep a population in a state of fear for a prolonged period of time.

Vietnam: The Gulf of Tonkin Incident The Gulf of Tonkin incident refers to two “attacks” by the North Vietnamese against US Navy ships on August 2nd and 4th of 1964. The attacks were used by President Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) to justify US involvement in and to ultimately enter the Vietnam War. Prior to the Gulf of Tonkin incident the US wasn’t involved in the Vietnam War directly. Although the US had ~16,000 troops on the ground in Vietnam, those troops were acting as military “advisors” and weren’t officially involved in military activities. Moreover, prior to his assassination in November of 1963, JFK was actively withdrawing US "advisors" from Vietnam and the rumors were that he planned to withdraw all US troops from the country. But once JFK was assassinated things changed... Once he became President, LBJ decided to expand the US’s involvement in Vietnam and started increasing US troop levels in Vietnam. The only problem was the US still had no real reason to enter the conflict on a larger scale. And that's when the USS Maddox was "attacked" The first attack occurred on the USS Maddox on August 2nd, 1964. The Maddox was a US Destroyer outfitted to gather intelligence and was patrolling in or near North Vietnamese waters. To this day, the US claims the Maddox wasn't in North Vietnamese waters, while North Vietnam argues it was. The Maddox was approached by three North Vietnamese patrol boats which the Maddox fired warning shots at. Bullets and torpedoes were fired back at the Maddox by the North Vietnamese but no crew members on the Maddox were killed and the torpedoes didn't strike the Maddox. The North Vietnamese attackers were driven back by gunfire from the Maddox as well as by some air support the Maddox was receiving from a nearby aircraft carrier. One of the North Vietnamese torpedo boats was reportedly sunk; the other two sustained damage but limped back to base. This first encounter was very real is well-documented. However, the much more interesting USS Maddox incident is the second one because it was completely fabricated. Two days after the first encounter on a rainy August 4, 1964, the USS Maddox returned to the same area with a second ship - the USS Turner Joy. According declassified official reports, the Maddox reported seeing multiple unidentified vessels on its sonars coming at it from different directions. The Maddox claimed vessels would disappear from sonar, only to reappear seconds or minutes later in a completely different location. Afraid of attackers, the Captain of the USS Maddox - Captain John Herrick - sent flash messages to US officials with updates on the incident while trying to move the ships out of “harm’s way”. However, official reports claim that every time the Maddox left one area, another blip would appear on the sonar. Captain Herrick claims to have felt surrounded even though he never visually confirmed any North Vietnamese ship. Air support was called in to assist the Maddox and Turner Joy and as one pilot put it, “I had the best seat in the house to watch that event, and our destroyers were just shooting at phantom targets — there were no PT boats there…nothing there but black water and American firepower.” The Maddox did nothing but unload a barrage of ammunition at the open sea…. Many historians argue there weren't even North Vietnamese ships in the general vicinity of the Maddox and Turner Joy at the time of the attack. Even Secretary of Defense under Kennedy and LBJ - Robert McNamara - admitted the falsehood of the attack saying, “I think it is now clear [the second attack] did not occur. I asked [North Vietnamese] General Giap myself, when I visited Hanoi in November of 1995, whether it had occurred, and he said no. I accept that.” In a message sent the day after the attack Captain Herrick blamed “freak weather effects on radar and overeager sonarmen” for the mistaken attack. However, despite long standing public skepticism that the attack on the Maddox was fabricated, none of this information would be declassified until the early 2000s – long after the conclusion of the war in Vietnam. Regardless of the second event being entirely false, the “attacks” on the USS Maddox would go on to be reported in American press and would allow LBJ to garner support for a US entry into the conflict in Vietnam. Unlike the other events we’ve examined so far the Gulf of Tonkin wasn’t a real attack but was an entirely fabricated event (at least the second encounter was). It goes to show, false flags can come in many flavors. How an event is reported is much more important than whether or not it’s true, especially when the details of the attack remain classified. In the fog of war action has to be taken quickly on less than objective and/or verifiable information and the Gulf of Tonkin incident is a great example of how that quick action on bad information to lead to very mistaken outcomes and, even, to entire wars.

Piecing It All Together These false flag events have a couple things in common to keep an eye out for as these tensions between Israel and Iran increase in the coming days First, these events are intended to do one primary thing: To turn the public from rational to emotional Because an emotional public is a public that can be manipulated… The other thing these events all have in common is that they rely on misinformation or incomplete information Emotional events can move quickly in our minds and when those quickly moving events are paired with fear and suppression of truths, they make for a dangerous combination Regardless of the form any attacks take, it’s important to not let emotions overtake rational analysis ...because our rational skepticism might just stop a war

The Attack On The USS Liberty (🧵1/2) The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, the USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force fighter jets and Israeli Navy torpedo boats that killed 34 US crew members, wounded 171 US crew members, and severely damaged the ship. At the time, the ship was in international waters Israel had known the frequencies the ship was using and jammed both the Liberty's main and emergency frequency so they were unable to broadcast for help. There was no way for Israel to know the frequencies the ship would be using without knowing the nationality of the ship The attack lasted for around 2 hours and included Israel hitting the ship with armor piercing rounds and napalm. Even the Medal of Honor that was awarded to the Admiral of the ship was delivered in private. The Death of Rachel Corrie Rachel Corrie was a 23 year-old American peace activist who in the early 2000s went to Palestine to fight for Palestinian human rights against Israeli oppression. BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard collectively manage $20 TRILLION of assets. The entire GDP of the U.S. is only $23 trillion. Now here's how BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard control you with those assets. First, we need to understand that owning a stock means you own a portion of the corporation the stock is issued based on. And with that ownership comes one very important right: the right to vote your shares to determine what the corporation does. Shareholder voting within a corporation is exactly as it sounds: you vote on certain issues and proposals put forth by the corporation. The more shares you have, the more votes you get — so if you own 30% of all the shares of the company, you get 30% of the votes. Results of votes are generally decided by simple majority. Pretty straight forward, right? Now what gets voted on at these shareholder meetings? The voting determines the major changes to how the corporation will maintain or change the way it interacts with the world around it as well as how the corporation is managed internally. These votes can determine big things, to name a few: - diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives - executive compensation - board of director's policies - the political policies of the corporation However hands down the biggest decision made by the shareholder vote is who sits on the board of directors. The board of directors decides: - the objectives and goals of a company - the management and senior executives of a company - the company policies (including political policies) - brand image and advertising Yes — there is some overlap between what the board of directors does and what the shareholder vote determines. Responsibilities differ from company to company. Now that we have the basics out of the way, how does voting shares of a corporation play in to BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard (I'll call them "BSSV" from now on) controlling you? Let's first look at how each of BSSV's ownerships are structured (all three are basically structured the same). What BSSV generally does is pretty simple: they buy stock shares of a specific company (Apple, Tesla, etc.) and package those stock shares with similar stock shares in to something called an ETF or a Mutual Fund. Then they sell a piece of resulting pool of those stocks to you so you can own a bunch of stocks without having to buy each of them individually (this is simplified but the basics hold true). For instance, let's say you want to buy technology companies but don’t know which specific company you want to buy or you can't afford to buy a bunch of different companies. In that case, BSSV would simplify the process for you by buying stocks of a whole bunch of different tech companies that they then package in to an ETF or Mutual Fund which you can then buy shares in allowing you to get ownership to all those companies at a fraction of the cost and effort! And these bundles can be created with any industry, sector, or with any other group of companies — from tech to oil to the entire S&P 500. So it seems like a win-win, right? You get to own a bundle of a bunch of different stocks you couldn’t otherwise get access to and BSSV gets a very small fee for helping you get that exposure. They seem like such nice guys, right? How on earth could this be sinister? Not so fast — when you buy these stocks through BSSV in ETFs and Mutual funds you give up one very important thing: you give up your right to vote at the shareholder meeting for each of those individual companies. You give up the right to choose the board of directors who determine the course of actions the company will pursue and you give up the right to vote on those political and policy decisions directions the company will take. But most importantly: YOU GIVE THAT VOTING RIGHT TO BSSV. “So what, BSSV can vote a few shares of a company? There must be way more shareholders out there that also vote”. For this, I'd ask you to do an experiment. Pick any major company. Now google who its largest Shareholders are The largest shareholders will almost always include or be composed of BSSV. Of all the stocks in the S&P 500 at least one of the members of BSSV is the largest shareholder in 88% of the companies. “But on average they only collectively own around 15% of most of these companies, that's not 50% control”. True, but a 15% difference in voting for board members or policies where most other shareholders are indifferent or uneducated on the policies (thus their votes are closer to a 50/50 split) is enough to sway almost every item that's voted on. “Well at least the three of them must have differing views? They all must compete for different shareholder vote outcomes, right?” Wrong. The unique thing about BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard is that their own largest shareholders are: Each Other. So they all decide each other's boards of directors and all control each other's shareholder votes. Then once BSSV's own boards are chosen they choose the boards of the companies they control. Now how is this control actually exerted? What are the manifestations of it that actually impact us? I'll keep this succinct so this doesn't run too long but corporations exert control over our society in a number of ways. On the social front this means BSSV can control almost every intersection of our lives with corporations. Our news, our social media, our financial institutions, our cinema and television, our retailers, our clothing stores, and even our food are all subservient to BSSV and the boards of directors they appoint. In the political landscape this control can be exerted through campaign contributions, lobbying, PACS, issue advocacy, regulatory capture, think tanks, revolving doors, trade associations, policy development, and campaign advertising amongst others (to name a few). This is also why every corporation appears to be move in lock-step in their support of things like ESG investing, Black Lives Matter, and other social causes: because behind the scenes BSSV purposefully elects boards that champion their values and beget their interests. The players on each board are different but their ideologies are the same…because their ideologies are BSSV's ideology. For many years now BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard have controlled almost every aspect of our lives without us knowing. It's time to break that cycle.
