Three years ago tonight, we witnessed one of the most brazen instances of lawfare in our nation's history. Biden's weaponized DOJ authorized the use of deadly force as FBI agents raided @realDonaldTrump's personal home. Never forget what they did. This must NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. https://t.co/8z4EbuiZnU

Trump announced the raid in a statement and Fox News has confirmed that the raid occurred. "these are dark times for our nation" said the former president, as my beautiful home, Mar A Lago, is currently under siege by a large group of FBI agents. Trump wrote, "nothing like this has ever happened to a president of The United States before." "agents also broke into his safe." The Times reported the search focused on material Trump had brought from the White House to Mar A Lago, including 15 boxes delayed in returning to the Archives. The timing remains unclear; Trump called it political targeting at the highest level. He was in Trump Tower when he learned of the raid; no DOJ comment yet.

Speaker 0: A little over one hour ago, we learned that the Biden administration raided the home of the former president Donald Trump in Palm Beach, Florida. Donald Trump announced the raid in a statement and Fox News has confirmed that the raid occurred. Quote, these are dark times for our nation, said the former president, as my beautiful home, Mar A Lago in Palm Beach, Florida is currently under siege, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Trump wrote, nothing like this has ever happened to a president of The United States before. Trump said the raid, which was unannounced, amounts to quote, prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the justice system, and an attack by the radical left democrats who desperately do not want me to run for president in 2024, especially based on recent polls. Trump said agents also broke into his safe. Former president Donald Trump concluded his statement noting that Hillary Clinton, quote, was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 emails after they were subpoenaed by congress, but the DOJ did nothing about that. The New York Times is reporting tonight that the search is quote focused on material that mister Trump had brought with him to Mar A Lago, his private club and residence, after he left the White House. Those boxes allegedly contained many pages of classified documents according to a person familiar with their contents. The Times continued, quote, mister Trump delayed returning 15 boxes of material requested by officials with the National Archives for many months, only doing so when there became a threat of action being taken to retrieve them. Fox News has confirmed that per standard protocol, FBI Director Wray and Attorney General Garland were aware of the raid before it occurred. However, you characterized what happened in The United States Of America today, this is a defining moment, a seminal moment, a partisan moment, one that generations will look back on and ask, was this a moment we broke apart or we were able to come together? And the answer to that question will be the questions we ask tonight. Was there an evidentiary basis? Was there a legal basis? Or was this a partisan witch hunt? To begin that conversation, let's start with Fox's Mike Emmanuel, who is standing by with the latest. Mike. Speaker 1: Will, good evening. Fox News has learned from a source close to the former president that mister Trump was in New York City at Trump Tower when he learned about the FBI raid of his Mar A Lago home. The New York Times is reporting that federal authorities appear to be focused on material former president Trump brought with him from the White House to his home in Palm Beach, Florida. That published report cites a person familiar that the raid began this morning and notes the former president delayed returning those 15 boxes of material requested by officials with the National Archives for months. Fox News is working to confirm all of those details. Fox News has confirmed the raid of former president Trump's Mar A Lago home with a law enforcement familiar source familiar with the search warrant. Per standard protocol, attorney general Merrick Garland and FBI director Chris Wray were aware of this, have been fully briefed, will continue to be. The former president announced the raid a short time ago earlier this evening, calling this dark times for our nation as his home in Palm Beach, Florida is being raided and, quote, occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Mister Trump called the raid unannounced and says it was not necessary or appropriate in arguing that such an assault could only take place in broken third world countries. The former president says federal authorities broke into his safe. The search comes after numerous televised hearings on Capitol Hill looking into the events of 01/06/2021 and more questioning of former Trump administration officials by the justice department regarding the events after the twenty twenty election in the final weeks of the former president's time in office. It's not entirely clear why today was chosen to launch the FBI raid. The former president calling it political targeting at the highest level, comparing this to former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, but noting nothing has happened to hold her accountable. Will? Speaker 0: Mike, I'd love to follow-up with one question here for you. I noted you said both FBI director Christopher Wray and the attorney general Merrick Garland were aware of this raid. Do we know, and you mentioned both of these potential evidentiary or legal basis for the raid, do we know specifically, was this about those confidential material, the alleged classified material that were in boxes taken to Mar A Lago, Or was this connected to the congressional investigation around January 6? Speaker 1: We have not been able to pinpoint that just yet. We know that there was back and forth between Trump administration officials and the National Archives over 15 boxes of material. We do know that. What we haven't confirmed just yet is whether that is the reason for the raid that happened at Mar A Lago today. So we are working to, button that up, but that is the latest information that we've seen in terms of that New York Times report. So we wanted to provide it to our audience and let our viewers decide for themselves what they think of that. So not entirely clear whether this is related to the hearings on Capitol Hill, the subsequent investigation that's taking place at the justice department interviewing former Trump administration officials about his final weeks in office, exactly why they're doing this at this particular time. But there's a lot going on, obviously, on Capitol Hill and over at the justice department leading to a raid of his Mar A Lago home today, Will. Speaker 0: And as of tonight, no comments so far from the FBI or the DOJ. Mike Emanuel, thank you so much for the latest. Thank you. You heard Mike say there that this will be up to the American people, you watching, to decide was this a legal raid? Was this a raid in pursuit of justice or was this a partisan act to take out not just a former president, but a potential candidate for president of The United States? And obviously, according to the latest polls, the leader of the opposition party. In order to know the answer to that question, the DOJ and the FBI will need to provide, and soon, the evidentiary and legal basis for this, and this is a very fair statement, unprecedented action by the Department of Justice.

They lied to FISA Courts. They used laundered, doctored evidence. They supercharged cases. They brought in Jack Smith. They raided Mar-a-Lago. Reforming this corruption is not "chilling." Rank and file agents opposed this corruption. We cannot let our system remain weaponized. https://t.co/RxlUD5lGpG

Video Transcript AI Summary
There's a clear distinction between legitimate evidence for an investigation and fabricated evidence, as seen in the Russia collusion scandal where the FISA courts were misled. The Biden administration and the DOJ have also engaged in politically motivated actions, such as the indictments and the raid on Mar-a-Lago, which many view as unjust. This politicization of justice is concerning. It's important to acknowledge that many rank-and-file FBI agents are frustrated with the current situation and desire reform. I've been critical of figures like Merrick Garland and Jack Smith throughout this process.

Speaker 0: No. That's that's simply not true because there's a difference between you have actual evidence that would lead towards an investigation versus, and no pun intended, trumped up evidence, which is exactly what took base as far back as the Russia collusion scandal. They lied to the FISA courts knowingly to open up an investigation into into president Trump's first presidential campaign. They lied to the FISA courts. They were using misinformation. They were letting laundered doctored evidence into that situation and we have all the proof for that. Then you have to deal with the fact that, yes, during this current presidential campaign, the Biden administration and the Department of Justice were either working with or allowing these indictments, which were silly. Everybody knew they were political, but they were allowed to continue. They brought in Jack Smith. They raided Mar a Lago. I mean, I can go on. You cannot allow our system of justice to be degraded to such a degree basically for politics and then let's just I hear you. I So it's not a chilling Let let me just real real quick, and I wanna add this point. I would add for the rank and file FBI agents who do their job every single day, they were shaking their heads too saying, what the hell is going on? We need this place to be cleaned up. So I would say for those agents that want to know this. Just so you know, I myself have been plenty critical of Merrick Garland and Jack Smith and this whole process over several years.

In his Farewell Address, Biden talked about oligarchy... but gave a medal to George Soros. He talked about respecting institutions... but engaged in lawfare and spied on Americans. He said he saved the economy... but caused record inflation. We are WORSE-OFF because of Biden. https://t.co/ZsclvK1IWr

The farewell address by President Biden was disappointing. It highlighted one of the worst presidencies in U.S. history. The speech failed to address key issues, such as the Democrats' use of dark money and the economic struggles faced by Americans. Biden's claims about stabilizing the economy were undermined by rising prices and stagnation. His decisions, particularly regarding Afghanistan, showed a lack of concern for American lives. Overall, the sentiment is that the country will be better off with him leaving office after this difficult period.

Speaker 0: Welcome in Florida congressman Byron Donald as we continue to react to president Joe Biden's farewell address, 16 and a half minutes. Congressman, it's good to see you. What'd you make of it? Speaker 1: That was terrible to be honest with you. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, because it is a farewell address but that thing was just awful. Man, you know what? This has been one of the worst presidencies in the history of the country and I think that speech demonstrated it. You wanna talk about an oligarchy but you gave a medal of freedom to George Soros. The fact that the Democrats use twice as much quote unquote dark money as Republicans do election cycle after election cycle, respecting our institutions when you spied on the American people, saying that you brought us back from a potential economic collapse when prices are massively out of control and our economy has been stagnant, the world's been on fire, I could go on and on. Joe Biden was wrong on every decision of his presidency, every decision. And probably the worst thing that occurred in all of it was what happened in Afghanistan almost 4 years ago when he was more concerned about politics than actually getting Americans out of harm's way in Afghanistan. The country is better off that he is leaving office. It's very unfortunate we had to go through this period.

I'm highly offended by President Biden awarding a medal to Congress members Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson. This reflects the disconnection of his administration from the American people and highlights the failures of his presidency. The January 6th committee was a propaganda effort aimed at attacking Donald Trump, which ultimately backfired. They suppressed information and tampered with evidence and witnesses, actions that are unprecedented in Congress. Rewarding them for their lack of transparency and honesty is appalling, but it aligns with the overall failures of Biden's presidency, which I believe is the worst in our history.

Speaker 0: Congressman Donalds, I I wanna ask you, though. I I I don't know how you feel, but I was offended that president Biden gave one of the the second highest, medal, of honor. It's not called the medal of honor, but a medal honoring these 2 congressmen, congressman Liz Cheney, and Bennie Thompson. What what's your reaction to that? Speaker 1: My reaction is I'm highly offended, but I'm not surprised. Joe Biden and his White House have lived in the bizarro land where no other Americans really exist. That's why the presidency under Joe Biden has been an abject disaster. This is just one of the last pieces of icing on that cake. Look, everybody knows that the fake January 6th committee, the only purpose was to basically put a lot of propaganda out into the information stream to go after and attack Donald Trump. It failed, completely backfired. They suppressed information, they tampered with evidence. There's reports out there that, they were actually tampering with witnesses sitting in front of that committee, something that has frankly never happened in the halls of congress happened with this j six committee. So for them to be rewarded for frankly, the the lack of transparency and honesty they gave to the American people is disgusting, but why are we surprised? This is the presidency of Joe Biden, the very worst presidency in the history of our country.

The year-end correspondence roundtable highlights underreported issues, particularly Joe Biden's cognitive decline, which became evident during the presidential debate. Reports indicate that his advisers managed his limitations for years while he maintained he could run for president. There should have been more scrutiny regarding his fitness for another term, which might have prompted a Democratic primary challenge and altered the election landscape. Interestingly, advisers claim Biden regrets dropping out of the race, believing he could have defeated Trump. This raises questions about whether such sentiments are delusional or misleading.

That would be to me, Joe Biden's obvious cognitive decline that became undeniable, in the televised debate. As a presidential debate was Unquestioned. And, you know, it's starting to emerge now that his advisers, kind of managed his limitations, which has been reported in The Wall Street Journal, for 4 years, and yet he insisted that he could still run for president. We should have much more forcefully, questioned whether he was fit for office for another 4 years, which could've led to a primary, for the Democrats. It could've changed the the the scope of the entire election. Still, incredibly, we read the Washington Post that his advisers are saying that he regrets that he dropped out of the race. You know, that he thinks he could have beaten Trump. And I think that is either delusional or they're gaslighting. President Biden had

The lawsuit revealed that Joe Biden and Barack Obama were involved in blocking access to these photos, which were only released after the election. Joe Biden and his family are accused of corruption, having received significant funds from overseas, including from Chinese corporations linked to the Chinese Communist Party. The Biden family's lack of a legitimate business led them to exploit Joe Biden's political position for financial gain. This situation highlights the deep-rooted corruption in Washington, and many believe the American public has recognized this, leading to Biden's impending departure from office.

Speaker 0: We got the photos late because it took America First Legal suing the National Archives. You remember them, the same National Archives that said for a couple years that Donald Trump was holding back classified information. They had to sue that National Archives just to get access to these photos, and the people who were blocking these photos, none other than president Joe Biden and president Barack Obama. And so in that lawsuit, they basically said, we'll finally release those to you after the election. Surprise, surprise. Look. At the end of the day, Joe Biden was corrupt. His family is corrupt. They took 1,000,000 and 1,000,000 from overseas, including Chinese corporations, which we all know are backed by the Chinese Communist Party. The reason why, they were trying to make their own money using Joe Biden's position in politics because the Biden family never had a business. They were trying to live off the largest of his access, which was pay to play. But the American people have seen through it. He's been defeated. He's leaving soon. But this goes to show how corrupt the swamp really is.

Biden stopped DNA testing at the border so we can't tell if kids belong to who they illegally cross with. Many of these kids are abused. Many of these kids are trafficked. Many of these kids are forced into gangs. Democrats refuse to act. Under Trump we will SECURE THE BORDER. https://t.co/mUkF3oay6l

Venezuelan gangs are exploiting children in migrant camps, with undocumented kids as young as 11 committing crimes like robberies and assaults. This situation stems from policies by the Biden administration and the radical Democrats, leading to these children becoming victims of modern-day slavery for drug cartels and gangs. The administration's decision to stop DNA testing at the southern border has made it difficult to verify the relationships between adults and the children they accompany, raising concerns about their safety. The focus should be on caring for these vulnerable kids and repatriating them to their families, while swiftly addressing the adults who have entered the country illegally.

Speaker 0: Venezuelan gangs, congressman, we learn more about how they're using children in detention, areas in these migrant camps. Undocumented criminals as young as 11 years old are carrying out retail robberies, committing crimes on scooters, like snatching jewelry, watches, cell phones at gunpoint, and even knife point. So they look, these kids look innocent and were at least until the gangs got a hold of them. And whose fault is this? Donald Trump's? Speaker 1: You're absolutely right. This is all the fault of Joe Biden and the radical Democrats who want this policy. You gotta understand these young kids are are indentured servitudes. There is basically modern day slavery for the drug cartels and for these criminal gangs. This is what they have wanted. So you have to put a complete stop to it. And for the news media talking about, oh, you're gonna separate kids, from their families, from their parents, understand that the Biden administration stopped DNA testing at the southern border so we couldn't even know if the adults traveling with these children were in fact the parents or a next of kin. They did not care about these young kids when they were coming into our country. They knew they were being abused when they were coming into our country. So we're gonna do the best we can to care for these young kids and get them back to their countries of origins with origins with their family. But for these adults that have come through, they're going home and they're going home immediately. Speaker 0: This is just your heart breaks for these children.

We're watching this all morning. The plummet is fueling fears of recession. Inflation's Speaker 1: up more than 21 percent Right. And real wages are down Right. About 2% That's where all that stuff. Speaker 2: Joblessness has increased more than half a percent since January, and it's something that it just doesn't usually happen in a healthy economy. A rise like that is historically a sign that a recession is imminent. Speaker 1: We have Speaker 2: never been down a 1,000 points ever, not even intraday on the Nasdaq. Speaker 3: Is that true? Amazon, 6%. Apple, 9% down. Speaker 1: Ironically, they brag about things like the inflation reduction act. That's stoking inflation. They brag about all the money that they're giving the world's richest corporations to build factories here. Well, guess what? We gave $8,500,000,000 intel. You know what we got in return? They're gonna get rid of 15,000 workers. Speaker 3: Great. Speaker 1: Is that smart? Is that really brilliant? Is that what we should be doing with taxpayer money, stoking inflation and losing jobs? It's nuts. What you're seeing right now in the stock market is what Americans have been feeling for the last 3 years. It's just a manifestation of it right now. Speaker 2: All that, ladies and gentlemen, and everyone else, that is called Bidenomics. That is called Bidenomics, and we are very proud of Bidenomics.
