The streams and the rivers were dry, and I it so horrified me that I came out and started painting the rocks blue to indicate that there was once a river here. And then after I got done painting the rocks, I just sort of walked over here and then did that tree and then did that tree. And then pretty soon, I'd done this whole forest.

Victoria Nuland does not want peace and calls on Trump to keep feeding the Ukrainians intelligence and weapons. “Ukrainians are going to die, more of them, if this pause lasts significantly longer.” https://t.co/VCqGg85AFy

Video Transcript AI Summary
Europe must quickly increase its support for Ukraine, especially as artillery, air defense, and drone production become more challenging. Europe could use proposals and potentially leverage frozen Russian assets to provide immediate assistance. The speaker is concerned about the cutoff of intelligence streams from the U.S. and pressure on allies not to use U.S. intelligence. U.S. intelligence has been vital for providing Ukrainians with advanced warning of Russian attacks. Additionally, certain weapon systems rely on U.S. satellite queuing and GPS for targeting. A prolonged pause in this support will result in more Ukrainian deaths, and Europe cannot rapidly replace this capability.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Look. It is, really, very, very important that in this period, that Europe not only be able to step up, but step up fast. Because, as the artillery shells run out, as the air defense interceptors run out, as the ability to produce drones at scale, which have made the difference for Ukraine on the battlefield gets harder, Europe has the capacity not only with these proposals, but conceivably collateralizing against frozen assets that they are holding of Putin's, at least for a short time, to do more and to do it fast. The thing that's concerning me most today is the cutoff of intelligence streams from The United States and pressure on allies like The UK not to use US intelligence for their own weapons. The primary purpose of US intelligence has been to help the Ukrainians see Russian attacks coming and have advanced warning. There are also key weapon systems that do not queue and do not hit their targets without support from US satellite queuing and the military GPS system. So people are gonna die. Ukrainians are gonna die, more of them, if this pause lasts significantly longer. And it's it it is it is dangerous, and it's not a capability that Europe can replace with any kind of speed.

California is instituting a new equity-based system for speeding tickets. How much you pay is based on who you are. https://t.co/iAecRHUbMu

Video Transcript AI Summary
San Francisco is launching a speed safety pilot program, supported by California Governor Gavin Newsom, where speeding ticket costs vary based on the offender's identity, aiming for equity. The city transportation authority states speed cameras will be distributed equitably. Low-income offenders may qualify for up to half-off speeding fines, while homeless individuals could receive up to an 80% discount. A speaker questions why there are discounts on speeding tickets in high-injury areas where pedestrians have been killed, arguing that all lives are equal and everyone should understand the importance of safe driving in such zones. Another speaker expresses disbelief and questions if this could extend to other crimes like burglary, suggesting that everyone should be equal in the eyes of the law, paying the same fines and serving the same sentences.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: San Francisco is launching a new speed safety pilot program backed by Democratic California governor Gavin Newsom, where how much you pay for a speeding ticket depends on who you are, and it's all in the name of equity. On its website, the city transportation authority goes out of its way to explain that speed safety cameras will be dispersed across San Francisco in a quote, equitable fashion. But not everyone will have to pay the same if they get a ticket. Get this, Low income offenders qualify for steep fine discounts, guys, up to half off. And if you're homeless but speeding in your vehicle, you can get up to 80% Speaker 1: discount. Speaker 0: Jerry, here's just one of the many problems I have with this. The reason for this program, for the speed cameras, was reportedly because of high injury areas, meaning where pedestrians have been hit and killed. So since all lives are equal, why are we getting discounts on speeding tickets when everyone should understand how serious it is to drive safely where people have died? Speaker 1: I couldn't believe this when I read this. I was like, is this really true? Speaker 0: We are all equal in the eyes of Speaker 1: the law. Oh, no, we're not all equal in the eyes of the law. Okay, so might this get extended eventually? So maybe if I commit a burglary and I don't have a lot of money, maybe that's okay or maybe I get a reduced sentence, or I just don't understand the logic operating here. I think we should all be equal in the eyes of the law, and everybody should pay the same fine, serve the same sentence.

NPR’s CEO Katherine Maher on the truth. https://t.co/ipGbi3kePR

Video Transcript AI Summary
Wikipedia's model works well in contentious areas like politics and religion because contributors focus on the best of what we can know right now, not necessarily on "the truth." After working with Wikipedia contributors, the speaker believes that seeking the truth and convincing others of it might not be the right approach for tricky disagreements. Reverence for the truth may distract from finding common ground. The speaker is not saying the truth doesn't exist or isn't important, but that different people have different truths. Truth is often what happens when we merge facts about the world with our beliefs about the world. These differing truths are based on factors like background, upbringing, and how others perceive us.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: The hard things, the places where we are prone to disagreement, say politics and religion. Well, as it turns out, not only does Wikipedia's model work there, it actually works really well. Because in our normal lives, these contentious conversations tend to erupt over disagreement about what the truth actually is. But the people who write these articles, they're not focused on the truth. They're focused on something else, which is the best of what we can know right now. And after seven years of working with these brilliant folks, I've come to believe that they are onto something. That perhaps, for our most tricky disagreements, seeking the truth and seeking to convince others of the truth might not be the right place to start. In fact, our reverence for the truth might be a distraction that's getting in the way of finding common ground and getting things done. Now, that is not to say that the truth doesn't exist, nor is it to say that the truth isn't important. Clearly, the search for the truth has led us to do great things, to learn great things. But I think if I were to really ask you to think about this, one of the things that we could all acknowledge is that part of the reason we have such glorious chronicles to the human experience in all forms of culture is because we acknowledge there are many different truths. And so in the spirit of that, I'm certain that the truth exists for you and probably for the person sitting next to you. But this may not be the same truth. This is because the truth of the matter is very often, for many people, what happens when we merge facts about the world with our beliefs about the world. So we all have different truths. They're based on things like where we come from, how we were raised and how other people perceive us.

I came here seeking diplomacy to end my country's destruction, but I am being attacked for it. We have problems, yes, but everyone does during war. You may not feel it now, but you will. Don't tell us what we're going to feel; you're not in a position to dictate that. You're gambling with the lives of millions, even risking World War III. We've been strong from the start, thankful for the support, but we were alone. I said thanks. We want to stop the war, of course, but we need guarantees for a ceasefire. Ask our people what they think about a ceasefire. You gave us javelins, unlike Obama, who gave us sheets. Be more thankful; without you, we have no cards. One more question, Mr. President.

What kind of diplomacy? JD, you're asking me about. What what what what do you mean? Speaker 1: I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that's gonna end the destruction of your country. Speaker 0: Yes. But if Speaker 1: you Mister president mister president, with respect, I think it's disrespectful for you to come in the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media. Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president for you to bring him into this conference. Speaker 0: Been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have. Speaker 1: I have been to The convuls. I have actually I've actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour, mister president. Are do you disagree that you've had problems? What? Bringing people in your military? Speaker 0: We have problems. Speaker 1: And do you think that it's respectful to come to the Oval Office of The United States Of America and attack the administration that is trying to trying to prevent the destruction of your country? Speaker 0: A of a lot of questions. Let's start from the beginning. Sure. First of all, during the war, everybody has problems. Even you, but you have nice ocean and don't feel now. But you will feel it in the future. Speaker 2: God bless. You don't know that. God bless. You don't know that. You don't don't know that. Don't tell us what we're gonna feel. We're trying to solve a problem. Don't tell us what we're gonna feel. I'm not telling you that. Because you're in no position to dictate that. Remember this. You're not You're in no position to dictate what we're gonna feel. We're gonna feel very good. We're gonna very good and very strong. You're right now not in a very good position. You've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position, and he happens to be right about it. Speaker 0: From the very beginning of the Speaker 2: war You're not in a good position. You don't have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards. But right now, you don't yeah. You're playing cards. You're playing cards. You're gambling with the lives of millions of people. You're gambling with World War three. You're gambling with World War three. And what you're doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country. It's back to you far more than a lot of people said they should have. Speaker 1: Have you said thank you once in entire meeting? No. In this entire meeting, Speaker 0: you said thank you. You went to Speaker 1: Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October, offer some words of appreciation for The United States Of America and the president who's trying to save your country. Please, Speaker 0: you think that if you will speak very loudly about the war you Speaker 2: He's not speaking loudly. He's not speaking loudly. Your country is in big trouble. Speaker 0: Can I ask Speaker 2: Wait a minute? No. No. You've done a lot of talking. Your country is in big trouble. Speaker 0: I know. Speaker 2: You're not winning. I know. You're not winning this. I You have a damn good chance of coming out okay because of us. Speaker 0: Mister president, we are staying in our country, staying strong from the very beginning of the war. We've been alone, and we are thankful. I said thanks. You have a bill on. We Speaker 2: gave you through this stupid president three hundred and fifty billion dollars. We gave you military equipment and your men are brave, but they had to use our military equipment. If you didn't have our military equipment You invited me to our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks. Speaker 0: In three days. I heard it from Putin. In three days. This is something Speaker 2: Maybe less. In two weeks. Speaker 0: Of course, yes. Speaker 2: It's gonna be a very hard thing to do business like this. I'm gonna tell you. Speaker 1: Just say thank you. Speaker 0: I said a little bit. I'm saying American people. Speaker 1: That there are disagreements, and let's go litigate those disagreements rather than trying to fight it out in the American media when you're wrong. We know that you're wrong. Speaker 2: But you see, think it's good for the American people to see what's going on. I understand. I think it's very important. That's why I kept this going so long. You have to be thankful. You don't have the cards. You're buried there. You're your people are dying. I'm telling you. You're running low on soldiers. Listen. You're running low on soldiers. It would be a damn good thing. Then you then you tell us, I don't wanna cease fire. I don't wanna cease fire. I wanna go, and I wanted this. Look. If you could get a ceasefire right now, I tell you you take it so the bullets stop flying and your men stop getting killed. Speaker 0: Of course, we want to stop the war. Speaker 2: You're saying you don't want a ceasefire? Want a ceasefire. Guarantees. Because you'll get a ceasefire faster than it agrees. Speaker 0: Ask our people about a ceasefire. What they think? Speaker 2: Wasn't with me. For you. What That wasn't with me. That was with a a guy named Biden who was not a smart person. That was your that was with Obama. Speaker 0: It was your president. Speaker 2: Excuse me. That was with Obama who gave you sheets, and I gave you javelins. Yes. I gave you the javelins to take out all those tanks. Obama gave you sheets. I've been hearing about the prosecution and vilification of parents, and as a father who sent his kids to public school, I wanted to understand what was happening. After looking into it, the memo from Attorney General Merrick Garland addresses a disturbing increase in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, teachers, board members, and staff. However, the words "mother," "father," or even "parent" are not even mentioned. The propaganda suggesting prosecution of parents appears to be completely unfounded. The vast majority of Democrats—not just Republicans—support DOGE’s budget cuts. https://t.co/TyOTdTNYtW

Video Transcript AI Summary
A recent poll reveals that 67% of people believe the US federal debt is unsustainable, and 60% think Doge is helping make major cuts in government expenditures. Robert Blouie notes that people are fired up about Elon Musk making cuts that politicians have only promised. Dan Turrentine agrees, stating Democrats are too focused on how Musk is doing it. The poll shows 72% of Democrats want reduced government expenditures, but creating that change can be chaotic. Turrentine believes Democrats need to be more open to cuts and not just raising taxes. Blouie thinks Musk could be more aggressive given the massive deficit, as it is a spending problem, not revenue. Turrentine says the real test will come when Congress starts trying to pass the reconciliation bill because it is the only way to get real deficit and debt reduction.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Brand new polling, which shows overwhelming support for the Doge cuts. When asked if the US federal government debt is unsustainable, 67% say, heck, yeah, it is. It's unsustainable. 33%, no, man. We got this. But when asked if DOGE is helping make major cuts in government expenditures, 60% say, heck, yeah, it's helping. 40% say, no, it's not helping. And finally, when asked if Doge should have access to the sensitive data, remember that one? 50 eight percent say, heck, yeah, give him the access, compared to 42% who say, no. Don't give them the access. So we wanna dive further into this now with Robert Blouie. He's president and executive director of The Daily Signal and also Dan Turrentine, cohost of Morning Meeting. Also, Dan served as chief of staff for then congressman Jared Polis, who's now the governor of Colorado. Thank you both for being here. So, Robert, it seems like Elon's doing what Trump promised, but it's really who's doing it and how it's being done that has people all fired up. Am I wrong? Speaker 1: This time around is you actually have somebody who is serious about cutting spending in Washington DC. For years, politicians have made promises. They have not followed through on those promises, and Elon Musk is doing that. He's doing so at the direction of Donald Trump, which as the exec the commander in chief and the CEO of the executive branch has the authority to designate an individual in his under his direction to do exactly what Elon is doing. So I think that American people should get used to this. We're not going to see the end of it until DOGE has finished its work. Speaker 0: Dan, what are your thoughts? Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think you said it well. There's been, I think, too much focus by Democrats on who's doing it and and how he's going about it. Right? You know, he didn't give him thirty days notice, so it's like a footfall in tennis. But I I think, look, there is polling that shows that people have concerns with Musk. So I think to some extent, you're going to hear more about it. And I think at times it's coming across as a little chaotic like today. I think this evening, the office of personnel management put out word that people don't have to follow what Musk said. But Yep. Look, I I think as as Robert just said, overall, Trump ran on this, and common sense tells everyone there is some spending that shouldn't be happening. And where they find it, democrats should say, you know, good on them, and let's fix it. Speaker 0: Well, let let's talk about the poll I just referenced. Alright? It also asked respondents take a look. Walk with me here. I wanna show you. It asked respondents, should US reduce debt by increasing taxes or reducing government expenditures? Simple question. Right? Take a look at what Democrats had to say. Reduce government expenditures. 72% of Democrats say, heck, yeah. No surprise. 94% of the GOP said that as well. So so, again, think think about that, guys. When when you see that, Dan, and how are we supposed to reduce government expenditures, which 72% of the Democrats in this poll say, yep, we want done, without creating chaos, without having issues when you're bucking the norm? Speaker 2: Look. That that's the that's the the the the million dollar question. And I think this is where democrats have made a mistake because every time Musk says anything, we scream about him. We scream about the process, and we scream about every single cut. When there is something legitimate, then people don't hear us, right? Because we're constantly complaining. And I think what that survey shows is every household has to make cuts at varying points, you know, in the arc of its lifetime. Every business has to make cuts. So Americans understand this. So for the Democratic party to always say, just raise taxes is crazy. It's one of the reasons we find ourselves where we are in the minority. Yeah. Speaker 0: Robert, president Trump posted on True Social that he wants Elon to be more aggressive. So my question to you is, is there a world where Elon could could maybe go too far with this? Speaker 1: Not with the massive debt problem that we have. And and as we we all know, in in talking about this issue, the government is running a $2,000,000,000,000 deficit, and there is a lot of work just to be done. This is not a revenue problem as Dan was just talking about. This is a spending problem. And so I think that there is a lot that Elon can do. There are 2,400,000 federal employees. There are a lot of government programs that just haven't delivered on they don't match the return on investment that you would have in the private sector. And so I think that there is a lot more that Elon Musk can do, and I would hope that Democrats can work collaboratively with Republicans to try to streamline and make government more efficient. At the end of the day, I think that is a goal that hopefully most Americans can get behind. Speaker 0: Wouldn't that be something, Dan? I mean, why why won't democrats say, we saw what the voters said in November, and we agree there is waste that needs to be cut. Let us work with you to make that happen. Speaker 2: Yeah. I think this is where a little bit of kind of how Musk has gone about it. He he he didn't endear himself, you know, very early on with some of his taunts and and and brash statements. Now you can make the argument that's what was needed to get this done. But look, the rubber's gonna meet the road here for both parties when congress starts trying to pass, this reconciliation bill. Because the only way you'll ultimately get the type of deficit, and debt reduction is to look at entitlements and defense. And that, you know, even Republicans are saying, wait a second. We're a little nervous about Medicaid or Medicare. And I think Democrats will, you know, sit there and say, is that the trade off that you wanna make? The country may say yes, but I think we're about to have that conversation. Speaker 0: We're having the conversation now. Robert Bluhey, Dan Turrentine, thank you both for sharing your thoughts with us tonight. We do appreciate it. You know, as as Elon chips away at this excess spending, Doge hasn't gotten it all right every step of the way, something Elon admits isn't realistic. Listen here. Speaker 1: Some of the things that I say will be incorrect and and should be correct.

Zelensky's rise to power is not as organic as you might think. He was essentially manufactured by Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoyski, who owns OnePlusOne Media. Kolomoyski funded Zelensky's TV show, "Servant of the People," where he played the president. The show's popularity catapulted Zelensky into the political arena. Kolomoyski then created a political party with the same name and backed Zelensky as their candidate, despite his lack of political experience. Kolomoyski's money turned Zelensky into a billionaire. Kolomoyski also financed Hunter Biden, paying him $50,000 a month to sit on the board of Burisma. The Washington establishment has been using Ukraine as a piggy bank, exploiting the country's resources. The West is afraid the truth about Ukraine's corruption will come out.

Speaker 0: You see, Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, well, the cokehead of Kyiv, because he is a cokehead, the cokehead of Kyiv is actually a manufactured political figure. He was manufactured by a Ukrainian Israeli Cypriot oligarch called Igor Kolomoyski. Now, Igor Kolomoyski was the man who owns OnePlusOne Media here in Ukraine, OnePlusOne Media is the company that financed and produced the TV show Servant of the People. Servant of the People hired Zelensky, a well known actor in Ukraine, an actor with zero political experience or even any political interest, well, they hired him to play the role of the President in this show Servant of the People. Servant of the People had huge ratings, but a lot of people say that it was really weird the amount of propaganda and PR that was done for the show. It was disproportionate to any other show of any channel. The amount of PR positive press and all the rest of it, it was really pushed on the people. Some people say it was completely astroturf. Some people who know how to speak Ukrainian and who have watched the show have told me that it's a mildly enjoyable show, but no big deal. But anyway, the show was hugely popular, and it ran from 2015 to 2018, and almost seamlessly, Kolomoisky, the oligarch, created a party called Servant of the People, same name as the TV show, and their candidate was Zelensky, a man with no previous political experience and indeed no previous political interest. Kolomoisky financed Zelensky to the point that Zelensky today is a billionaire. How many actors do you know are billionaires? I don't think that Tom Cruise is a billionaire and he's the most successful actor in the world, if he's just an actor. Zelensky is more than just an actor. He's the finger puppet of Kolomoisky, this oligarch. And do you know who Kolomoisky also financed, to the tune of $50,000 a month, plus additional benefits of different sorts? Hunter Biden, yes. In 2014, Burisma, the Ukrainian oil company gas company, excuse me, hired Hunter Biden to be on its Board of Directors to the tune of $50,000 a month. Who do you think controls Burisma? Kolomovsky, the same guy who manufactured Zelensky as President of Ukraine. Yeah, I bet you didn't know that. Zelensky and Hunter Biden are spiritual cousins. They are bankrolled by the same guy. It's funny because both of them have drug addictions, pretty serious ones, both of them get their money from Kolomovsky, and both of them are intimately involved in Ukraine. But here's the difference, of course: Zelenskyy doesn't have a dad, who's President of The United States, now does he? Why do you think the White House is freaking out so badly over Ukraine? In Ukraine, there are all kinds of secrets. In Ukraine, well, see, the more unsavory people in the Washington establishment have used Ukraine as their private piggy bank, to the detriment of the Ukrainian people. They have financially raped Ukraine, stripping it of monies and assets needed by the people of Ukraine. And this is part of the reason that Ukraine is one of the poorest countries in Europe, if not the poorest country in Europe, of the corruption, because of how Westerners have exploited it, Western politicians have exploited it. Hunter Biden? Fifty thousand dollars a month. And you say to yourself, well, 50,000 isn't that much. Yeah, but $50,000 a year is the median household income in The United States. In Ukraine, a much poorer country, dollars 50,000 a year would easily solve the problems of a good four or five families in Ukraine, the financial problems of those four or five families in Ukraine, for a year. And Hunter Biden was getting that money per month, just for himself. Although, of course, in the Hunter Biden emails there's talk that seems to be true that the old man would get a 10% kickback of whatever Hunter Biden was getting. That was in the laptop. Oh, yeah. Look it up. You don't have to take my word for it. Don't have to take my word for any of what I'm telling you. Look it up yourself and you'll find it. It's very easy to find. Kolomovsky, the Ukrainian Israeli Cypriot oligarch, was financing Zelensky, was financing Joe Biden. God alone knows who else he was financing, And he was just one. There's a whole rotten bunch of these people here in Ukraine. And they were all busy paying off the West so that they could carry on their little evil deeds and whatnot. If you want to know why the West is freaking out over Ukraine, you have to understand that they are all terrified that the truth will come out in Ukraine.

Adam Schiff attacks JD Vance for his speech in Munich, calling his criticism of Europe’s crackdown on free speech as a gift to Russia. The world is upside down. https://t.co/ZmD6MzAZbh

Video Transcript AI Summary
I was very disappointed by the speech given by Vice President JD Vance at the conference yesterday. Our allies needed to hear a renewed commitment from America to NATO and our European partners. They needed to know that we are willing to stand up to the Kremlin and provide Ukraine with the help it needs to fight Russia's war. Instead, they got a condescending lecture that attacked our allies. The speech sent the wrong message and I believe it was enthusiastically greeted in the Kremlin.

Speaker 0: I'd like first, sir, to get your response to vice president JD Vance's speech at the conference there yesterday, where he berated European leaders on a whole host of issues. What do his comments reveal about the Trump administration and our commitment to NATO? Speaker 1: They were really shocking and so disappointing when what I think our allies needed to hear was a renewed commitment by America to NATO, to our European partners, a willingness to stand up to the Kremlin and make sure that we provide Ukraine with all of the help that it needs to fight this war of aggression by Russia. But instead, what Europe got was a lecturing, a condescension, a demeaning speech that, really, I think just attacked our allies. It was greeted, I think, enthusiastically in one place, and that was the Kremlin. Exactly the wrong message right now.

Adam Schiff is terrified of Kash Patel being confirmed because he will have to answer for his role in the Russiagate hoax. https://t.co/KsMRXlB2z3

Video Transcript AI Summary
I believe Adam Schiff is the most responsible person for spreading disinformation on Russiagate. He claimed he had evidence of Donald Trump colluding with Russia, feeding lies to the mainstream media to push a false narrative for four years. As someone who ran the Russiagate investigation while Schiff was the minority leader on the House Intel Committee, he had access to the same information. The released deposition transcripts prove Schiff knew there was no factual basis for the Russiagate narrative. So, when he tweets about being scared that Twitter will be a landing ground for disinformation, it's hypocritical. Twitter has been a place where people spread defamation and attack others, with clear hypocrisy on who they allow on the platform.

FEMA workers fired after huge payment for NYC migrants revealed. https://t.co/75I4kgyIQG

Video Transcript AI Summary
FEMA employees have been terminated for allegedly sending $59,000,000 to house illegal migrants in luxury hotels, sparking public outrage. Critics are pointing out the contrast of this situation with the treatment of citizens affected by natural disasters who did not receive adequate assistance. The funds, allegedly sent through a program separate from the disaster relief fund, have done little to quell public anger. Some feel the money could have been used to address homelessness and create housing for American citizens instead. Some are calling for FEMA to be shut down completely.

Speaker 0: $59,000,000 allegedly went to luxury hotels for migrants. This has sparked outrage online with many recalling how people affected by natural disasters were not given the help they deserved. Speaker 1: And then they hid the fact until just today that your money was going from FEMA, pay to house illegals in a fucking hotel while you got to sit with your family in a tent after losing everything and almost freezing to death and starving to death because Biden was a piece of shit. Speaker 0: New York City Hall said they never paid for the luxury hotels, and the money was sent through a different program that is separate from the disaster relief fund, which still hasn't won any sympathy from angry Americans. Speaker 1: We could have been using that money to help the homeless and create housing for them. FEMA just needs to close. Like, the whole organization just needs to be shut down.

I'm concerned about the scrutiny USAID is facing. It's an organization that promotes national security, human rights, and global health. But, some USAID projects are questionable uses of taxpayer money. For example, millions of dollars have gone to tourism in Egypt, a Democratic Party propaganda arm, transgender opera in Colombia, sex changes in Guatemala, bat research in Wuhan, and even a new Sesame Street show in Iraq. “The current state of Great Britain is that it does not look like a country that won a war. It looks like a country that lost a war.” — Tucker Carlson https://t.co/mdsSEJMbnY

Video Transcript AI Summary
The current state of Great Britain raises questions about its post-war recovery, suggesting it resembles a nation that lost rather than won. The alliance with Stalin during World War II is particularly troubling, especially after urging sacrifices to protect Poland, only to hand it over to him. This raises moral concerns about leadership decisions. While acknowledging the necessity of opposing Hitler, the discussion emphasizes the failure to maintain Western civilization's integrity post-war. Despite defeating the Nazis, the decline of British influence and values is evident. The conversation highlights the need to reassess historical actions and their long-term consequences on Western civilization.

Speaker 0: Here's my problem with Churchill. Again, the current state of Great Britain does not look to me like a country that won a war. Looks like a country that lost a war badly and was degraded. How did that happen? Why? You're not allowed to ask that because people are like, oh, that's holocaust denial. The country of a lot of my ancestors looks like it lost a war. How did that happen? I think it's a totally fair question. And anyone who says it's not a fair question is a liar, and I'm not gonna be intimidated because I'm part English. So buzz off. What's the answer? And so I don't think that you can You can't Speaker 1: put it on Churchill. Well, Speaker 0: I don't put it entirely on Churchill. Speaker 1: You can't put any of it in Churchill because they Well, so you're If you look at if you look at the sixties, you would say that that Britain was absolutely roaring post war. Right? It Oh, really? Speaker 0: Your manufacturing was dying. Well, you rationing until the fifties. Like, how did this work? Speaker 1: Well, because we've just been in the World War. Speaker 0: I'm I'm saying that's an awfully slow recovery for a winning nation. Mhmm. If you won, why did you have rationing for 10 years after? But here's here's the real problem to be much more specific. I don't know how you could say to the English people, it is essential that your sons go die to preserve the territorial integrity of Poland, and then hand Poland to Stalin of all people. I don't know how you could be in an alliance with Stalin, the greatest mass murderer in history. I don't know how Roosevelt could be in an alliance with Stalin. Once you're in an alliance with Stalin, you lose all moral authority. Speaker 1: So what do you do about that? Speaker 0: Not allowed to lecture me about anything. Let me You're in a military alliance with those of Stalin. Speaker 1: Let me take you back. Who murdered all the let me make you president. Speaker 0: Tens and millions of people. Alright. Speaker 1: Let me make you president of the United States at the time. Speaker 0: I'm not against fighting World War 2. I'm not I'm not. I'm only saying specifically with reference to Churchill. You can't go to your country, your countrymen, and say go ahead and die to preserve the dignity of Polish territorial integrity, the dignity of Poland, the nation of Poland, and then give it to Stalin. And it languishes under an iron curtain, and people are murdered and rounded up and tortured to death for 40 years. Speaker 1: That wasn't what Churchill did. Speaker 0: Yes. It is what Churchill did. Speaker 1: Because he came in after the war started. No. No. Speaker 0: At Tehran, Pazda, and Yalta, he they made a deal to hand Eastern Europe, which he had brought his country to war to protect to Stalin. There is no getting around the fact that Stalin is maybe the worst person in all human history, but certainly in the running. Speaker 1: And I I don't disagree. Speaker 0: So you're in a military alliance with Joseph Stalin? You shut the fuck up. You have no right to lecture me about anything. Okay? That that's where we start. And that's been sort of elided over. The Roosevelt administration armed Stalin in lend lease. Tell me how that's defensible. It's not defensible. Speaker 1: But that's what the a question I was asking. Speaker 0: What But to hand Poland, which you went to war protect Speaker 1: I I hear you. Speaker 0: To Stalin. Like, why doesn't someone answer that question? They're like, oh, we had no choice. Really? Speaker 1: But what my question though is Then Speaker 0: you're a failed leader. Speaker 1: But what would you have done about Hitler? Speaker 0: I would have opposed him. Of course. How? I I certainly wouldn't arm Stalin. I certainly So how would you murdering Christians and Speaker 1: But what would you? Speaker 0: To be Speaker 1: I mean, I'm genuinely serious. Speaker 0: No idea what I would have done. I would have been opposed to him. I am opposed to him. I mean, it's not so I love this conversation. So it's like, there's no way to reassess anything without getting right to so you're for you're for Hitler. Right? Or you would just let Hitler expand on to Europe or something like that. Speaker 1: I'm not saying that. I'm just curious. If you don't do what Churchill did, I'm curious what you think we should have done. Speaker 0: Act on behalf of your country. That's your job. Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think you can. Speaker 0: A theologian, we certainly didn't look at it. Have you been there? Speaker 1: Well, my country. Of course. I live in my country. Speaker 0: Oh, okay. Right. So you know. No one looked after Great Britain. It ran the world. Now it's degraded. Now you have Sadiq Khan, like, giving the finger to Christianity in your capital city. It's like, what? This is the seat of Protestantism globally. Or even in downtown Berlin, the war is the effort to save Western civilization, and I agree with you that Hitler was a great threat to Western civilization. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer. But that was lost. So where's the victory? Speaker 1: Yeah. But it wasn't lost. Speaker 0: Really? Really? Where's it? Where's western civilization thriving? Speaker 1: What has happened is you've seen Britain's power in the world diminishing ever since. That is true. Speaker 0: What is Western civilization? Speaker 1: Well, that's an interesting question. I would say that for for example, I would say one of the reasons that well, the three reasons Trump It's Christianity Speaker 0: is what it is. Speaker 1: Well, that's okay. I I know you believe that strongly. Speaker 0: Well, what okay. I'm the Catholic I'm the Catholic. Speaker 1: Your preaching is acquired literally. Speaker 0: No. But if it's not Christianity, what is it? It's Christianity. That's what it is. It's the political legacy of Christianity, and that's dying. And I'm not saying Churchill was its assassin. I'm just saying I'm just saying, like, he didn't save it because it's dying. And Speaker 1: Well, can we agree he saved us from the Nazis? Speaker 0: I I guess, but I'm saying it was a pure victory. I mean, beating the Nazis is always good. You wanna beat the Nazis. Okay? I'm I'm for beating the Nazis, to be clear. The Nazis were a threat to western civilization. They were a threat to Christianity. But if Churchill saved it, where is it? Speaker 1: Well, I think that's a that's a perfectly legitimate question. Speaker 0: No. I know. Yeah. And they call me a holocaust denier for bringing that up. Speaker 1: I don't call you that. Speaker 0: Well, no. But I'm just saying, like, I got so attacked. But that's not only a legitimate question, it's the question. And I'm very upset about it because I think Western civilization is the best thing this world has ever produced. Speaker 1: Can can I ask you about something that happened big in the American election which we're now wrestling within our country? Woke

Keir Starmer asserts that the primary issue Britain must tackle is Islamophobia. https://t.co/fOzR5fOdtb

There has been a troubling rise in Islamophobia, making many feel unsafe in their own country. Women in hijabs are afraid to use public transport, and Muslim families face abuse after attending mosques. This surge is particularly affecting Muslim women and girls, leading to increased security at mosques. British Muslims are unjustly questioned as if they are terrorists. It is crucial for Britain to be a place where Muslims can fully express their identities without fear or discrimination. The contributions of British Muslims should be recognized and celebrated. As leader of the Labour Party, I appreciate the vital role of Muslim members, activists, and organizations in our community and their efforts to combat Islamophobia.

Speaker 0: We've seen a devastating rise in Islamophobia, leaving people feeling fearful and unsafe in their own country. I've heard firsthand of women wearing hijab who are too scared to travel by public transport, of Muslim families being abused as they leave the mosque. The surge in Islamophobia is simply appalling. Muslim women and girls disproportionately targeted. Mosques forced to ramp up security. And British Muslims questioned as if they are terrorists. I do not want Britain to be a place where British Muslims are not able to be their whole selves, where they feel they must hide or tone down who they are for fear of being attached to views that are not their own, where they're asked to apologize for the actions of people who do not act in their name. Our Britain is one where the enormous contributions of British Muslims are recognized and celebrated, their stories heard, their lives free from discrimination. As leader of the Labour Party, I am indebted to the contributions of Muslim members, activists and politicians who make our party what it is today. I'd like to thank Muslim organizations and mosques who work tirelessly to raise awareness and shine a light on the scale of Islamophobia.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Dolly Parton initially hesitated to identify as a feminist but eventually acknowledged her support for equal pay for women. It's important to note that, by law, women must earn the same as men for the same job. However, the uncontrolled pay gap often overlooks factors such as maternity leave, the tendency for women to work part-time, less aggressive salary negotiations, and more time off for family responsibilities. When these factors are considered, it shows that pay is equal under the same conditions. Therefore, while the issue is complex, the legal framework ensures equal pay for equal work.

And she said, I guess I am a feminist. So I I mean I'm sorry. But doing the same job, women do earn the same as men. It's illegal for companies not to pay equal wages for equal work. But since Logic always take a back seat on this show, will be, you're looking at the uncontrolled pay gap, which does not take into account things like, I don't know, women often take pregnancy leave. Women opts for part time work more frequently. Women negotiate less aggressively for salary increases. And women take more time off for personal travel and other family responsibilities. And when you analyze these factors, you find out that for the same work, under same conditions, pay is equal by law. So, I wish you were as right as your confidence implies.

“Why would you be happy that someone like Hitler is safe?” Guest grills The View and the mainstream media for vilifying Trump: https://t.co/mQB60E9f1F

Video Transcript AI Summary
I'm glad Trump is safe and condemn political violence. People believed media's extreme claims about Trump, leading to violence. Media should reflect on their role in spreading fear and misinformation.

Speaker 0: You know, I'm I'm very happy Donald Trump is safe. Full stop. Period. And I condemn all forms of political violence. Speaker 1: Well, Anna, why would you be happy that someone like Trump is safe? Because for years, every single one of you and your friends in the media said Trump is the biggest danger to democracy. You said he's going to take away your freedom. You said he's going to end America if he becomes president again. All of you compared him to Hitler. So either you're lying when you say you're happy that someone like Hitler is safe. Why would you be happy that someone like Hitler is safe? Or you didn't actually believe the things that you said about him. But here's reality. There are people out there who believed when you said Trump is going to take away their freedom. They believed you when you compared him to Hitler, and one of them step up and did something about it. So no matter how you look at this, what happened here is on you and your friends in the mainstream media. And I hope you can reflect, and from now on, make sure to take your emotional outbursts to the mirror, and not on TV.
