Over 70% Of the water that they use and drink is not clean, leading to prevalent waterborne illnesses. Gaza civilians have to wait hours at a time to get bread, which might not even be available. Electricity and Internet access has been shut down all across which means ambulances can't even be called to assist those injured in Israeli air strikes. This blockade Has been in effect for over 10 years, preventing Palestinians from traveling and from accessing key resources needed to survive. Which countries are taking steps to protect the Gaza civilians? Russia And China have been the leading forces that have called for a ceasefire. This would allow for humanitarian aid to arrive in Gaza, Which has been blocked for weeks by Israel. This would give water, food, medical supplies, And a variety of other resources to the Gaza population. Israel, the United States, and a majority of Western nations Opposed allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza. It's clear that the West wants to collectively punish Gaza, While eastern countries want to provide much needed resources to the Gaza civilians. What is the ultimate punishment that Israel plans on giving To the Gaza civilians. A classified 10 page plan from within the Israel Ministry of Defense shows that Israel seeks to forcefully expel Over 2,300,000 Gaza civilians from Gaza. The document recommends Israel evacuate the civilian population to Sinai during the war and established tent cities. Later, more permanent cities in the northern Sinai would be created that would absorb the expelled population. Of course, the last step would be to create a, quote, sterile zone of several kilometers within Egypt and prevent the return of the population to activities, residences near the border with Israel, close quote. While conclusive proof is lacking for the explosion outside the Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, we must advocate For the protection of all civilians in this conflict and to denounce collective punishment of a population, We must condemn war crimes and work towards peace or else the war will never end. We turn now to the image analysis carried out by Forensic Architecture at London University they've conducted three d resolution of the impact strike crater and shrapnel splash marks in the hospital car park those radial fragmentation marks open towards the Southwest with a shallow channel leading to the crater from the Northeast Their conclusion matches the audio analysis of the missile track. They say whatever hit the hospital car park that night It was fired from the northeast and not from the southwest of Gaza as the Israeli Defense Forces claim. Speaker 2: We also shared this with an independent Weapons and explosives expert that, corroborated our understanding of the likely direction as coming from the northeast. Speaker 0: They stress this is a preliminary investigation, and they, like many, call for a full inquiry, unlikely in the heat of raging war. But what we've said again and again and again, I've had the privilege to speaking directly to Elon a few times. The reason why we are so concerned is because we think Twitter is such a consequential service and again are allowing people who created the toxicity on the platform that led to real world violence. Keep in mind that the conspiracy theories that dominated on Twitter for so long exploded in places like Pittsburgh, Poway, El Paso and of course, ultimately in Washington, in DC on January 6th. So what I would say very clearly is that to you, as I've told Elon Musk, as I've told to others, We need these companies to engage constructively, smartly use their innovation to tackle hate speech. I see that chart art you put up. That contradicts what we're seeing at AD and L. We've seen anti Semitic speech stay up there longer than ever before. We've been indicating we've seen toxic content. It's not coming down nearly as quickly as in the past. And considering that the human resources have been massively we deplete at the company, that would seem to figure and loom large as to why it's happening today. Look, at the end of the day, AV ADL and I think so many of us want Twitter to work for all of its users, for journalists like yourself, for watchdogs like my organization, for the whole country. But tackling hate speech needs to be all of our commitment because Freedom of speech isn't the freedom to slander people, Katie. Right? Freedom of expression shouldn't be the freedom to incite violence. That shouldn't be okay no matter who's running the company.
