Speaker 0: Liz Cheney's been talking about that I am also obsessed with is kind of what damage he could do within government without even necessarily breaking the law. Like how he could use the levers of government to bend to his will. You worked in government, what Scares you the most? Speaker 1: Well, the possibilities are almost limitless, and I spent nearly 2 years asking that question to people, and and I wrote it in this book, Blowback, but to try to paint that picture, to try to understand what he would actually do By talking to all of my former colleagues at different departments and agencies under Trump and asking them that question, what will happen in a 2nd term? The biggest concerns for me are on the national security side. I think Americans still don't understand the full extent of the president's powers And things Donald Trump could do, bubble wrapped in legalese, that would be damaging to the republic. And one of those that I've noted is there's something in the White House Called the doomsday book. And for the 1st time, DHS gave authorization for me to mention this publicly, and the fact that there are concerns that that Book, which is supposed to be used to protect the country in instances of armed foreign invasion or rebellion, it's the president's most extraordinary powers, Could be picked up by Trump and used for domestic political purposes. He could invoke powers we've never heard a president of the United States Invoke potentially to shut down companies, or turn off the Internet, or deploy the US military on US soil. We don't know Because, you know, the things that are in there, the emergency powers of the president, aren't widely known to the American people. So that's a big worry for people like me And others about what he could do, but that weaponization of the government could extend across the interagency to places where we haven't seen it before. The Department of Education, The Department of Veterans Affairs, ways to wield that power and those budgets to help his allies and to hurt his enemies. And to be clear, Those aren't just elites. To Donald Trump, his enemies include people who live in blue states. I remember him not wanting to deliver emergency aid to blue states Because they didn't like them because they didn't like him. Why? Speaker 0: I mean, Miles, the doomsday book, I think it's safe to say we don't want in Donald Trump's hand. Anthony, one of the

NEW: The latest trend on TikTok is liberal creators promoting and encouraging people to read terrorist Osama bin Laden's "Letter to America." Many users appear to sympathize with bin Laden who was responsible for 9/11. In his letter bin Laden outlines al-Qaeda's motives behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks. These TikTok users have touted the letter as making them question why certain acts of terror, including 9/11 are really considered "terrorism." In bin Laden's letter he justifies the 9/11 attacks, where nearly 3,000 Americans were killed, due to the U.S.' support of Israel. Bin Laden wrote that "the creation of Israel is a crime that must be erased." Calling for violence, he added, "each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards" Israel's founding ought to "pay it's price and pay for it heavily." The American left, folks.

Speaker 0: Everyone to stop Speaker 1: what they're doing right now and go read. It's literally 2 pages. Go read A Letter to America, And please come back here and just let me know what you think because I feel like I'm going through, like, an existential crisis right now, and a lot of people are. So I just need someone else to be feeling this Speaker 0: This is fucking insane. I just read Osama bin Laden's letter to America, which I will be going through right here, but It's actually so mind fucking to me that terrorism has been sold as this idea to the American people and, honestly, just So many western inhabitants within certain nations that this group of people, this random group of people just suddenly wakes up one day and just fucking hates you. Just wants you dead, once you've gone, and this is all because they believe that they're better than like, that is the root of terrorism. It's that doesn't make sense. They just hate your fucking nation. But Reading this letter, it becomes apparent to me that the actions of 911 and those acts committed against the USA and its people We're all just the buildup of our government failing other nations in majority of these situations. And this letter was insanely eye opening. I really urge everybody to Google and read it. Because I thought that I had quite a lot of media literacy, but this takes it to a whole another fucking level where I was just like, holy shit. Like, propaganda is genuinely so deeply embedded into our fucking DNA. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Are you even paying attention to me right now? Speaker 2: The way this letter is going viral right now is giving me the greatest sense of relief. If you're Muslim and you've lived in the US Since 911, you know more truth than the typical citizen. Now it's all coming to light because of Palestine. Speaker 3: I need you to stop what you're doing and go read a letter to America. It is literally the craziest thing I've read in a while. And while I can't say that I'm that surprised, I am pretty shocked. So go read it and tell me what you think because I really also need to other people about this. And actually, before you even read the letter, I did wanna mention, in reading the letter, I could only think of this tweet that I saw the other day. Under settler colonialism, any kind of resistance is branded as terrorist because the only acceptable violence is violence by the Speaker 0: Pyre. Speaker 4: Go read a letter to America. Like, seriously, go read it. Type a letter to America in Google or whatever you use, then come right back because this makes a lot more sense. It explains so much, And I guarantee you it's going to blow your mind. And let's talk about it. So go read it. Come back. It's a lot. It's a lot.
