Speaker 0: America is currently experiencing an invasion. We're here at America's southern border in Arizona. Millions of illegal immigrants have been pouring over that border during the Biden administration. In just the first two and a half years of his administration, almost 5,000,000 border prehensions. That doesn't include another million known gotaways or another million unknown probable gotaways. You're talking about a wave of illegal immigration like no one has ever seen. The border is wide open, and that is Joe Biden's fault. Why in Arizona as opposed to Texas? Most of the dramatic footage you see of people crossing the Rio Grande, tens of thousands of people in giant caravans, that's happening in Texas. The answer is because the Tucson sector, which is where we are right now, is actually one of the top sites in the nation, Not only for illegal immigration, it is the number one site for fentanyl trafficking across the border. How much fentanyl is crossing our southern border? The answer is, we actually don't know. In 20 23, there were £27,000 of fentanyl seized at the border according to border patrol statistics. Over the course of fiscal year 2023, The authorities seized 850% more fentanyl compared with 2019, nearly twice as much as in fiscal year 2022. It is the drug to transport. It's one of the most expensive drugs to sell. In 2021 alone, the drug cartels made $13,000,000,000 from human trafficking and smuggling. But fentanyl is way more profitable than human beings. 10 kilos of fentanyl or about £22, that's worth 20,000,000 dollars, trafficked in the United States. When you do that math, what you find is that if just the stuff the Border Patrol caught had been trafficked in the United date. It would have been worth an excess of $24,000,000,000. One of the biggest costs of illegal immigration is crime. Not every illegal immigrant is a criminal, but there are lots of criminals who are, in fact, illegal immigrants. On November 16, 2010, a young man named Joshua Wilkerson was beaten, tortured, and murdered. His body was thrown in a field, set on fire by Hermillo Morales, an illegal immigrant in the United States from Belize. Just a few months before the killing, Morales had been convicted of harassing his ex girlfriend, but the authorities didn't ask about his illegal immigration status, and they did not deport him. Laura Wilkerson is Joshua's mother. Speaker 1: My son, Josh, was 18 years old. He was a senior in high school. I had 3 children, so he was the baby of our family. He'd never been in trouble. He loved the Lord, and he had a good relationship with Jesus. And he was just a good kid. You know, he was trying to find out what he wanted to do, but he had considered going to the air force. Speaker 0: So how exactly did this horrific murder occur? Speaker 1: Well, Joshua didn't come home from school today. I was I was off work early at about 1 o'clock, and Joshua, always answers my phone or text message. So I text and said, hey. Let me know where you are. And no text message back. And I don't know. Mom's instinct or something said something's wrong. And so it really made me start I don't know. My anxiety just ramped up. And, I called his dad and said, look. There's something wrong. Josh isn't answering. You know, this this is very unusual. Even though he was 18, he's just that kid. And so I happened to turn, one way going home and, looked over and I saw his truck parked by side of dumpster behind a strip center. His dad called the police, and they came out there. The guy that killed him was in that parking lot, and he had Joshua's, truck key in his pocket. They rubbed it off as a crime scene, and then they, told came and told us to go home, that they were taking his truck as a crime scene, And that they had a suspect in custody. And, you know, when you hear all this, your just mind's like, what? You know? It none of it makes sense at the time. Speaker 0: And How did he know the killer? Speaker 1: He went to school with him. He was a classmate of his. And apparently, Josh had given him a ride home a couple of times. The lady where the kid was living, he wasn't living with his parents. They had kicked him out of their house, and he was living with another classmate. And that lady got him to tell where he put Josh, and So he took the policeman and showed him where Joshua's body was. Speaker 0: What was the condition of Joshua's body when they found it? Speaker 1: When they found Joshua, he was He was burned, tied up with rope, 13 loops around his neck That went through his back belt loop to his hands and feet so so that he could carry him over his shoulder like that. So he was bound like that way and burned. He kicked Joshua in the stomach so hard, and it sent Joshua's spleen into his spine and it cut it in 2. And then next, he, punched him in the face, and it broke all of Joshua's nose, his nasal cavities, And he then, hit him in the head with a closet rod 3 or 4 times until it broke in pieces. And then once Josh was still trying to get up off the ground, he, strangled him until he died. Then he took him and Tied him up and put him over his shoulder and put him in the back seat of Joshua's truck. And he drove around town and bought $2 worth of gas and Put him in a field and set him on fire. Speaker 0: So originally, what did they think the motive was as to why this happened? Speaker 1: They didn't really have one. You know, in most most cases do have a motive, and they really did not have one, other than he did it. The killer told him a lot of motives that were lies. And I found out after the motive was that he wanted Joshua's truck to scrap her some money. Speaker 0: And when did they find out that the murderer was in the country illegally? Speaker 1: I remember them telling me, you know, I said, where are his parents? Once they told me, you know, you know, where who who is he and where are his parents? And they they said to me, we can't ask him. And I said, what do you mean you can't ask him? And he said, well, you know, they're not in the country legally, and we're not allowed to ask them. And so that's when I first understood about sanctuary cities and the policies that are whether it was a written policy or just a verbal policy about you don't ask people where they're from. Speaker 0: Have you had any communications with the killer at all? Speaker 1: I did. I went to see him After the trial, I had a a lady who facilitated me being able to go see him, and we sat across the room and just left a coffee table. And I wanted to see who he was and what what he was like. And and I I forgave him, and I told him that I forget him A 100% for what you did to Josh. I know Josh would want me to do that, and I've called to do that. And I left that meeting £100 lighter, knowing that I'm not forever connected to him. That his choices are his choices. And Everybody suffered for him, including himself. You know, I wish he was out and Josh was alive. But, Yeah. He wasted his life too. Speaker 0: We went to the San Miguel gate. It incorporates 62 miles of the border. It sits on the Tohono O'odham reservation. That sector saw a 140% spike in migrants at the end of 2023. There is no Trump border wall there. The fence that separates the reservation on the American side from the reservation on the Mexican side is not a fence at all. It's about knee high. All it does is prevent vehicles from crossing over. The gate sits just a few hours south of Tucson, Arizona, the largest city in the area. We were met at the airport by Brandon Judd, a A 25 year border patrol veteran and current president of the National Border Patrol Council. Brandon represents more than 17,000 border patrol agents and support staff. He served as a field agent, a special operation mountain team leader, k nine officer, and field training officer. Speaker 2: Alright. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna head out to an area where illegals are crossing the border. They're going under under a canopy. They're just waiting there. Then we're required to send our resources to take these individuals into custody. And when we when we send our resource Take them into custody. It pulls our agents from doing patrol duties, and it leaves sections of our border open. That's when the cartels are free to, across our higher value products, whether that's cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, criminal aliens, aliens from special interest countries or the countries That we know want to do us harm. Speaker 0: So walk me through the normal process when somebody either shows up at the border or shows up at a port of entry and you guys have to get involved. What does Speaker 2: that look like? What happens is is when somebody crosses the border illegally, typically, they're trying to evade apprehension. They don't wanna be caught. They wanna be seen. And what our job is is to detect them and then to apprehend them as they're trying to to get away. Right now what's taking place is these people are just crossing the border illegally, basically waving their hands in the air cameras saying, hey. Here I am. Come get me, knowing that they're going to be released. And that's what we call catch and release. That's what's driven all of this, illegal immigration right now. So, typically speaking, what'll happen is is these large groups will cross the border illegally. We'll deploy our resources forces to take them into custody. We'll take them back to our our border patrol stations. We'll fingerprint them, see if they have any criminal records here in the United States. We also have access to Interpol, see if they have any Interpol hits, but we do not have access to their criminal records in other countries. Just don't have that access. If they don't have a criminal record here in the United States, we'll process them with what we call a notice to appear, and we'll release them into the United States. With that notice to appear, they're supposed to show up to their court appearances, but they don't. Because the vast majority of these people that are claiming asylum, They don't have a legitimate claim. Once they're released into United States, they disappear into what Obama termed the shadows of society, and we never see Again, so these people that have been released into United States under president Biden, and we're talking about 5,000,000 poor. People that have been released under president Biden. Their need never leaving this country ever. They're here to stay, not because they're legal. It's Because there's no resources to go find them, and even if you were able to track 1 or 2 down, then the court proceedings are gonna take so long and the board. Recognizes this and that's why they do it. It's again, it's just chaos that they've caused. What really frustrates us is when you see secretary Mayorkas talking about this, he'll always say, well, we're we're enforcing the laws. We're putting in we're putting everybody into deportation proceedings, and then he'll end it right there. Yes. We do Put them in deportation proceedings. But the moment we get done with that processing, then we release them into the country pending a future court date and then they don't show up to that court date. And that's what my orcas has responsibility of explaining to the public. He has a responsibility They tell them everything, not just that we put them into deportation procedures. Because when he says that, that gives the illusion to the American people that we're Deporting these people. Speaker 3: Would it be safe to say within a week, they're back? Speaker 2: Yes. Yes. So so it is very safe to say that within 72 hours, These people are released. That's the catch and release. We catch them, but we don't imply we we don't impose a consequence. We release them. We actually We are rewarding them for violating our laws. Speaker 0: Joe Biden does catch and release. Instead of Donald Trump's remain in Mexico policy or People who are claiming asylum were told to remain in Mexico while those claims were processed. Joe Biden has been taking everybody who claims asylum, whether they actually have a good asylum claim or and has been releasing them into the interior of the United States. 300,000 border apprehensions in December alone. Under Joe Biden, between January 2021 and April 2023, there were 4,900,000 border apprehensions. During the entirety of the Trump administration, there are 1.6 million border apprehensions. That is over a full 4 years. Joe Biden tripled those numbers in just over 2. Now in order to asylum or refugee status. Essentially, do they just say magic words? They do. They do. It's like Michael Scott walking into the office and saying I declare bankruptcy. Speaker 2: All they have to do, they don't have to give a reason. In the past, they had to give a reason. Now all they have to do is say the magic word is I fear going back to my country. And once they say that, then they have to be processed for us. Speaker 0: We're down here at the San Miguel Gate. This is one of the places where illegal immigrants Show up en masse, and there literally is a sign that we saw that says press the button and border patrol will be here soon to help you. As though you're arriving at the local Hilton, and you need the bellman to escort you up to your room with your luggage. Speaker 2: I've never seen Raoula in in my 25 years, ever. The joke is is we're no longer the border patrol. We're the welcome patrol. We don't have a problem of getting applicants. It's it's we have a problem of keeping them once they come in the border patrol. So what happens is they'll come in and they become Completely demoralized, completely jaded, and then they'll leave to another law enforcement organization. That's that's what we see. We have, The US border patrol has one of the highest attrition rates in the entire federal government. Look, nobody is against legal immigration, And I don't know of a border patrol agent that wants to send a legitimate asylum seeker back to their country. None of us want that. None of us wanna send somebody back to their That's gonna get murdered, tortured because of their religious, affiliation, their political beliefs, or or any of the other things that would qualify for asylum. None of us want But we also know that the vast, vast majority of these people do not have illegitimate asylum claim. What's happening is that this mass flood of people that are coming across the border, and they're coming into this facility just to wait Until border patrol has the resources to send out here and take them into custody. So when they're actually on our side of the border in this facility, They're not even in custody. Speaker 0: Wow. Speaker 2: They're just sitting here waiting. Speaker 0: So when it comes to something the media's paid a lot of attention to when it was Trump president, but not not Biden, family operations. What what are they talking about there? Speaker 2: So somebody that crosses border illegally, that is that is an it's an illegal act, So they can be prosecuted for that act. If you're a United States citizen and You have a child, 5 year old, 10 year old, 14 year old, doesn't matter, and you commit a crime. When police take you into custody, they're gonna separate That's what happens. You you have to separate a minor from an adult regardless if it's regardless if it's a family member To go forward with a prosecution. We prosecute that individual that that individual for that prosecution time will be taken away from that child. Once that once that person serves the time, then that person is reunited with the child. What we saw under president Trump, people would Claim to be family units, but they weren't family units. They would use these children as a way made to try to get released into the United States. After that process was over, they didn't claim those those children again. This just Gained an awful lot of attention because of the children that were, that were left that that either they weren't claimed or there were cases. There were Just like there have been cases under Biden where DHS were not able to to find the The the child or the the parent. Speaker 0: When Joe Biden says he wants more funding for the border, what he really needs is that he wants more funding to process the entry of illegal immigrants. He wants that spigot opened up even wider. According to Joe Biden, the only solutions at our southern border aren't solutions at all. They are things make the problem worse. You've been in doing this for, what, 25 years Mhmm. At this point. So how has policy changed across the various administrations? Speaker 2: The government has what's called prosecutorial discretion. They can decide who they're gonna prosecute and who they're gonna prosecute. They can also decide when they're going to prosecute these individuals. So what the Obama administration did was they started releasing people in Mass. Something that we had never seen before and called it prosecutorial discretion saying, well, we are going to put them in deep we're We're gonna put them in deportation proceedings. They will see a judge later on down the road. Then when Trump came in, he ended what we call catch and release. And the moment he ended catch and release, we saw a drop in illegal immigration of 45 year loans. I'd never seen anything like it before as quickly as Important. And I work with this the administration on these policies. Speaker 0: And catch and roll ending catch and release amount, it's holding people in detention until they can be processed deported. Correct. Speaker 2: Having them wait in Mexico pending their asylum proceeding. Mhmm. People are not going to give 1,000 of dollars to the cartels Just to be held in custody or to have to wait in Mexico pending their their proceeding because they know that they're not going to be able to prove that they have Speaker 3: a legitimate asylum claim. And because they're not gonna be able to prove Speaker 2: that they have asylum claim. And because they're not gonna be able to prove that, they're gonna stop coming. Drug smuggling went down because we were able to go after the cartels. So we saw a huge drop in the amount of drug smuggling taking place. So then Biden comes in and he immediately immediately got rid of All of the effective border policies that Trump had. And from day 1, we saw a huge spike in illegal immigration. Not only did we see port. Huge spike in illegal immigration, but we saw a huge spike in the in the amount of fentanyl that were on our streets. And the DEA has said that 95% of the fentanyl that we see on our streets is coming from Mexico. So under Trump, when We were able to control illegal immigration. We were a also able to go after the cartels. And if we can go after the cartels, we can save American But now because illegal immigration is is sky high, we just don't have the ability to go After the cartels, and that's why we see so many so so much drugs on the streets today. They have cartel members embedded in hiding locations in the hills To watch our movement in the normal time, what we'll do is we'll monitor the cartels on our side of the border, And we'll send what's equivalent to a police force SWAT team. We'll send them in Blackhawks, and they will drop down on these locations where they're watching And we just haven't had those operations in 2 years now. Wow. It just doesn't happen. You're gonna hear a lot of people say, well, let's throw more money at this issue. And Man, I disagree with that 100%. That's that's shifting the burden onto the taxpayer. We have the resources that we need. What we don't have is we don't have the policy. If we had the policy, we could control the border. We proved that under president Trump because if you give Give us more resources, all that's gonna do is mean that we're processing more people through. We process more people through. The cartels bring more people up. In a regular month of any other administration, if we apprehended 40,000 people in a month, That was a lot. That was a busy month. We're up to 250,000. We have had at upwards of a 1000 people in here at one time. Then we have to deploy, you know, 15, 20, 30 agents to here. And those 15, 20, 30 agents, they could otherwise be patrolling the border, but they're not because they have to be here to take these individuals in custody. Speaker 0: So you were mentioning a little bit earlier about the distribution of resources at the border. How many people are actually patrolling the areas that there There really is nothing there. How many people are being stuck at places where you'll suddenly see a wave? What what what is the normal distribution? What is that distribution right now? Speaker 2: So on on On a normal day, under a normal administration, you're you're gonna see about 30% of our resources doing board. Administrative duties, whether that's processing, whether that's detention security, transport. It's about 30% of our resources. Right now, At any given time, 90% of our resources are doing administrative duties while only 10% of our resource patrolling. So we should, to to be able to optimize, the number of our personnel that are actually patrolling the border, we should be deploying 70% To patrol the border. And right now, at any given time, it's 10% where we're gonna go. We're gonna be lucky if we have 10% of our resource control in Speaker 3: the border. Speaker 2: So these checkpoints are are very effective tools for the border patrol. They allow us to be a second tier for anything that gets by us, they're also very effective for drug smuggling. But as you can see right now, it's completely closed. We have have now driven a little over 10 miles. How many agents have you seen? 0. Exactly. Exactly. So what has happened is we have given up Complete control of this area to the cartels because all of our resources right now are doing administrative duties. They came through here and they cut out this section. Now this section was left open for 2 weeks. They just came in and welded this in yesterday. That's that's what they did. They welded this in yesterday, but they come in and what they'll do is they'll cut the bottom of the wall. And even though this is concrete reinforced And even how this weighs 1,000 of pounds, they'll just grab at the bottom and pull out and it'll break off from the top. When we have agents patrolling, We would be able to stop that because we would have been able to get here with our agents, detect it, and then stop it. This is gonna come down. I I guarantee that they'll just come back Because this is gonna be very, very easily removed. Speaker 0: The only way that you have the time to actually sit there with welding equipment and weld through actual concrete and As if there's no border patrol anywhere in the area, all of this is the result of Joe Biden's policies. His prioritize, basically returning the border patrol into a bussing and administrative department. So there's been enormous amount of focus on the border wall or the border fence. How much is that Helpful in in terms of fencing, how much should should those resources be put to to different use? Speaker 2: So the the border wall is extremely effective When you're dealing with Godaways, the border wall does nothing for asylum because that border wall is not built right on the the US Mexico border. It's built with a little bit of a buffer inside the United States, generally speaking, 3 feet. And so once Somebody gets to the wall, they're actually in the United States. And our laws, all it does is require somebody to be in the United States. A political border. Speaker 0: And yellow asylum. So yes. Speaker 2: So all they do is walk, man. And so once they basically, once they hit the wall, all they have to do is say asylum. And now I have to take that individual into custody, and I have to process. Again, it's the loopholes that are being exploited in our immigration system. Wow. Speaker 0: What we're standing by right here is a giant pile of blankets usually compiled from all the stuff that's just lying around here after illegal immigrants cross The border with all of their stuff, this black jug right here is something that the cartels hand people as they are traveling. Why? To reduce reflectivity from light sources. You can see them littered all over this entire area. Also, as you can see, a lot of these areas burned out. People were taking down pieces of these trees in order to start fires themselves when Old outside, we've been told by our sources that it was cleaned fairly recently, but normally, this entire place is covered in trash. It looks like a landfill. In the stuff that gets left behind, you can see the tragedy of illegal immigration on mass. This is obviously children's clothing. A lot of kids being taken over the border by drug cartels. You mentioned a moment ago people coming in from special interest countries. How many people I mean, And we have even have an idea how many people are coming in from terror hotbeds? Speaker 2: So so the vast majority of those people are gonna wanna evade apprehension. They're not wanna get caught, but we do still have a lot of people coming in from Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria enough that it it should give anybody pause about what's going on. Then on top of that, you have the ones that are getting What we call gotaways, the ones that are getting away. We have a minimum of a 1,000 gotaways every single day. Every single day. Wow. A minimum. Portal. And again, because those people don't want to get caught, you have to ask yourself, well, who are they? Speaker 0: Right. Speaker 2: Where where are they coming from? What are their intentions here in the United States? And we just have no idea. Speaker 0: What's the demographic breakdown of the people who are who are crossing? Speaker 2: So the majority are coming Mexico, then Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, the the typical countries that we have seen in in the past, but we have seen a huge uptick, huge uptick in the number of Chinese nationals, The number of of Eastern Europeans and the number of people coming from African nations. Huge uptick And and what we're seeing now. Speaker 0: And and how about men versus women in ages? Speaker 2: So, a majority of the people that cross our border, ladies, are not Family units, a majority are single adults that are of military age. Speaker 0: So what when they talk about unaccompanied minors, are they talking about 10 year old kids, or are they talking about 16 portal. Speaker 2: Seeing is so so we we see a majority. If if if we deal with unaccompanied, minors, we're dealing with teenagers. That's it's not it's not 2 year olds, 5 year olds, 10 year olds. We do get them. That does happen, but a majority are, You know, the 16, 17. And the problem with that the problem with that is there's no way for us to vet that they're actually that age. There's There's a lot of these individuals that will come across that claim to be, teenagers that, I mean, they've got beards that are much more grown in the mind. You know? And but because we can't prove that they're not, we have to treat them as such. Speaker 0: Is there a fair bit Speaker 2: of gang affiliation among Always. Always. And because our hands are tied and we just don't have the time to vet all of these people, so many fall with the crimes. We're talking about paramilitary groups, these cartels. Speaker 0: Can you talk about the treatment that the the cartel uses? I mean, you talked a little bit about it. So people that they're actually shipping over, not just the people who they're, you know, leaving for debt, but the actual movement of people. Speaker 2: Yes. And and this is another one of those those areas that's that's so very port. Frustrating to every single one of us. When we take people into custody, you can see it. The the they they exhibit all of the signs of having been, board. Sexually assaulted, physically assaulted, you know, beaten up, extorted, having more money taken than what they originally thought the contract was border. We see this all the time, and and it's it's absolutely heartbreaking. I remember, you know, back in port. At the height of of president Obama and when we were dealing with so many unaccompanied children, it was our agents that were Bringing in formula. It was our agents that were bringing in diapers, toys. When we have people in custody, you can see that they're so hungry. We'll stop and buy food forum, because the cartels do not care about them. All they care about is making the money. You know, People are also murdered on a regular basis by these cartels if they don't pay or if they fight back. And so, again, it's just it's So it's so disappointing and and and that is not a strong enough word. But it is so disappointing Knowing that these people that will not are not willing to shut down the border, that are advocating all this, that they're the ones border. Encouraging all of this violence against these these immigrants and knowing that policy would stop that And these people that claim to care about people aren't willing to give the policy. That's it's it's disgusting to every single one of us. Speaker 0: How often do you come across corpses out here doing what you're doing? Speaker 2: All the time. All the time. Imagine this area in the summertime. You know, we're talking about a 110, a 100 and 14 degree heat. If people can't keep up with the group, the cartels will just leave them and they die, you know, and and they don't care. They don't care. Cartels will also purposefully leave people as a distraction for us. We had a small infant that was left on a trail knowing that when we came across that infant, We were going to have to stop and take that infant and and basically pull us off, tracking that That that group of of people across the border illegally, the the problem with that is the way this infant was wrapped up, the way it was looked, it looked like trash. And one of our ATVs Came came within 6 inches of running over that baby Oh my god. Because we couldn't tell that it was a baby. And they will they will leave. And and then the other part about it is is is there's a danger of us running over that baby because we don't know it's a baby. It just Like a a a blanket on the ground, but if we don't come across it because oftentimes we'll jump off the trail to try to get up ahead of them quicker and And so we won't stay on the trail. So if we didn't stay on that trail, that baby would have been left there to die. This is what this is these these cartels, they do not care about human life. Absolutely do not care. All they care about is generating profit. Speaker 0: There's some people who say that what's going on in the border is an invasion. Other people think that language is inventory. What's your take on that sort of terminology? Speaker 2: When when you look at who's facilitating, border. Yeah. I do think that you could qualify that as an invasion because they're the ones that are driving it. Speaker 0: So we're sitting in the car with border patrol and suddenly, I hear They're buzzing above us. And I look out the window, and I see this drone. Speaker 3: Mexican cartel. They're gathering offensive intel in us. Are Are Speaker 2: they trying to gain like, what type of intel are they trying to collect? Speaker 3: Like, how many agents are working? Because if they're gonna send if they're gonna send the group of e boy hands, they wanna know how many agents It's working. Speaker 0: I said, why don't you shoot it down? And he says, well, I can't shoot it down. I actually have to elevate that request all the way up to directly the secretary of homeland security to get that approved. Speaker 3: The court has to get a hold of secretary of your and then secretary of your caucus has to check with Erin Green and make sure that it's not one of theirs. But, that was done because these are such despicable people. And they tried to redeem them By forcing them to choose a religion. If you look at our government today and you look at the Lopsided representation that they have. They're they're allegedly 2% of our population, but yet they control 60, 70 percent of of government influential jobs. You look at their influence on the Supreme Court for instance. They're grossly overrepresented on the Supreme Court considering they're only 2% of the population. It it doesn't reflect, the, You know, their their, the percentage of population, it's it's greatly overblown. They're overrepresented in every government function. And this is by design. They choose these things. They're overrepresented in the media. They're overrepresented in education. They're overrepresented in a number of, areas where they have influence and where they serve as bottlenecks. Look at the Department of Justice, the influence that they have in there, particularly in body worn act positions, as to what cases get prosecuted and what cases get not prosecuted. They they they have that that type of influence. And, this is really, to the detriment of the American people, the majority of us out here. The other 90 or 98% of the population is conversely underrepresented, and we don't have our interest, You know, being promoted. And, you know, look at how many dual Israeli citizens we have in our US government. Look at The representatives that we have, as far as Congress, the Senate, etcetera, that's just the elected officials. But if you look behind that, if you look at the permanent bureaucracy, which is in there, The senior executive service, for instance. Look at their makeup. Look at how influential this little 2% of our population is. That that over like I said, they control so many of our government functions. And with the with the bureaucracy, the problem we have is Congressmen can come and go, senators can come and go, but the bureaucracy lives on forever. Yeah. And if they are of a leftist or communist mindset, It doesn't matter that a guy like Donald Trump gets elected because the people wanna see the changes that his platform represented. It doesn't matter because the bureaucracy is going to, implement things the way they choose to. That that that stays with with what their, drive, with what their, goals are, not with what the what's in the best interest of the American people. Truthfully, if we wanted to do what's in the best interest of the American people, we would stop all relationships with Israel Because we know Israel has a nuclear weapons program. We know they do. We know they have somewhere between 204 100 nuclear weapons on hand right now. And our own government, by supporting Israel financially, is breaking their own laws because Israel has not signed the Non Proliferation Treaty. And, our government is disobeying the own laws that it has passed for itself to live within. That's that's a problem. At least it's a problem for me. Mhmm. Ukraine has 30,000,000 hectares of arable land. Most of that is black soil, Chernozone, investments in agriculture, investments in Ukrainian energy independence, in LNG trade. I mean, they're in fracking. There are so many areas where Ukraine could do extremely well, but they do need financial support to to, to get some macroeconomic oscillation in order. And after that, I think investments in Ukraine are still very promising. So I'm optimistic even after 20 years of fairly tough investment environment in Ukraine. We've done pretty well, but, certainly, the opportunity, is much greater. Speaker 1: You say you have a few $100,000,000 in Ukraine right now. Where where are those investments? Speaker 0: Well, we our major investment is is in agriculture. We also invested in the cable sector, in the largest cable company in Ukraine called Cable. We invested in retail pharma. We invested in chocolate production, we invested in software development. So there are a number of areas in Ukraine that are quite interesting. You need to keep in mind Ukraine is very much export oriented country. It's very open economy. Experts are 50% of Ukrainian GDP. Agriculture certainly is strictly focused on export. Today, Ukraine is the 3rd largest exporter of agricultural commodity products in the world. It has a potential of becoming the largest exporter of wheat in the world over the next, say, decade or so. And then that's the opportunity to deploy a lot of capital and potentially realize very significant returns.
