Her husband—also a victim in the original attack—is now facing criminal charges that civil rights groups say are baseless, as THEY were the actual victims, not SAPS nor the armed high-jackers. If convicted, he could be imprisoned in a system that can only be described as compromised. They applied for U.S. refugee protection under a policy meant to fast-track urgent, life-threatening cases. They have had no luck or additional contact from the U.S. I’m not here to litigate the entire justice system. But when a family produces evidence of abuse, faces retaliation, and follows the correct channels for asylum—and still gets no response—that’s a problem. This isn’t about politics or what side of the ideological spectrum you may be on— It’s about a principle: If we have systems designed to protect people in danger, they should work before tragedy strikes. If this family vanishes—into silence, into prison, or into a grave—it won’t be because no one knew. It’ll be because no one acted. Speaker 0: Good morning everyone. I just wanted to touch base and say thank you to everyone who has shared our story. My husband and I have been suffering in silence for almost four years. It feels wonderful to be seen, to be seen for what we went through, to be seen for what we continue to go through. Mr Ramaphosa, Cyril, your government and your corrupt NPI and corrupt SAPS, corrupt prosecutors and sadly corrupt judges have persecuted my husband for four years. Have you personally read the Victims Charter of this country, Cyril? Have you done so? If not, I suggest you give it a read. There is equality under this constitution and we have been treated with nothing but disregard by each and every person we have encountered in those organisations. If it weren't for the support, the immense support from AFRI Forum, I don't know where we would be. To the South African government: Find someone else to pick on. While you persecuted my husband the first time for two false charges, we spent years and seasons in that courtroom, outside of that courtroom, quietly amongst people who maliciously, horrifically attacked us. You have protected them, Mr Ramaphosa. You have protected them because they are individuals involved very much in tender fraud. We have informants from the communities that have been speaking to us since 2021, women from the community that call me and say to me, Delia, please do not stop. These men are dangerous. One of the ladies relayed to me about three years ago that she decided to rather send her children to attend schooling and grow up with their mother in the very rural areas, then have their children grow up around an area where these Tutsis live. Apparently, when the girls in their area become of age in their opinion, they will pick them up from their homes, they will dazzle them with a cell phone and a McDonald's meal or a takeaway, which sadly for our impoverished children and youth is enticing. And when they are done with them, when they are completely done with them, they drop them off at their mom's house. They are destroying their own communities also. You know, I'm reminded of a story I heard, it was after our attack, but it also happened in our area of a lady very politically connected in our society who was in a spa, in a shopping centre buying groceries with her child when she got abducted. Her child was dropped off in one of the settlements close to town and she was murdered. That woman hasn't received justice. This country is not safe for women and children, especially not if the government is just permitting these criminals to walk out there. And then those people dead pitch up at my house where my children are. Now, for those who don't know a lot about Africa, please be sure to look up what a lion's nest does when enemies come to her den and threaten her cubs. During the first court proceedings outside, I was repeatedly told and I repeatedly heard these men say that that white woman just makes noise. Well boys, that was the roar. The bite is coming now because you came to my den where my cubs are and I will now do what a lioness does to those people, those animals that come to her den and threaten her young. This woman, this white Afrikaner woman will keep making noise and keep talking about what you have done and what you continue to do up until you change it. I will stand with President Trump as he absolutely tears the crap out of you just so that you bend the knee to what is right in this world and what is just in this world. Thank you for your time and ex Mr. Musk, you for creating a platform where I can share this footage where it will not be deleted. You know, years ago we set up a backup buddy page to help us with some of our legal expenses. We'd lost everything throughout this process and had to start over several times.
