Two Minnesota lawmakers, Senator John Hoffman and Rep Melissa Hortman, were shot in their homes by a gunman posing as a police officer. I wonder if MAGA will condemn this violence. This incident highlights the importance of verifying law enforcement identity before opening the door.

BREAKING: Two Democrat Lawmakers in Minnesota - Democratic Senator John Hoffman and Rep Melissa Hortman - were just shot in their homes by a gunman impersonating a police officer. Is MAGA going to condemn this violence? This is why you don't open your door for law enforcement or ICE unless you first see a warrant and ID.

At the FSU shooting scene, I called out Governor Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump, emphasizing that while prayer is important, it's not enough. We need real action and gun reforms to address the ongoing violence. It's time to listen to the people!

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

On the scene at the FSU shooting this Florida State University student calls out Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis: "I’m gonna call on Governor Ron DeSantis [and] Donald Trump. This stuff keeps going on. We’re praying every day. Praying is good. Spirituality is good. But prayers don’t do much. It’s good for the soul, but is this still happening? I think it is. So we need to make some gun reforms." Listen to the people!

I've noticed many Republicans defending Putin, claiming he has no intentions of rebuilding the Soviet Union and that NATO is provoking him. However, former President George W. Bush has clearly debunked this. Putin's true goal is to rebuild Russia by reclaiming former Soviet territories. Ignoring this is disingenuous.

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

Many Republicans seemingly defend Putin and Russia by claiming that Putin doesn't have any goals to rebuild the Soviet Union and instead it's NATO that is forcing his hand. Recently former President George W. Bush completely debunked that ridiculous myth. We all know what Putin wants. He wants to rebuild Russia. He wants to build his nation by invading former Soviet territory and getting it back. That's his main goal. If you pretend otherwise, you are being disingenuous.

Video Transcript AI Summary
The notion that Ukraine's potential NATO membership triggered Putin's invasion is misleading. This idea serves as a convenient excuse for both Putin's supporters and critics of U.S. policy. Putin's ambitions have long been evident; he has always sought to restore Russia's power and glory. His motivations are rooted in a desire for empire-building rather than a reaction to NATO. The narrative that NATO provoked this aggression is far from the truth.

Speaker 0: Some people would say that the idea that, Ukraine might become a member of NATO is what propelled Putin forward from this invasion. Yeah. They have looked in his eyes and seen his soul, you know. He he he this is an empire builder. It had nothing to do. It's a convenient excuse for, Putin's people and, and critics of US policy. And now this was not provocative. He he he told me that his dog was bigger than my dog way before, the opportunity to get to NATO, and I say that seriously that this this has been on his mind. The the fact that he was part of a diminished power, and he wanted to, reinstate Russian glory. And so I I find that I don't think that's anything close to the truth.

Federal Judge Tanya Chutkan has issued a gag order on former President Donald Trump, citing language that poses a threat to the administration of justice. Trump, a criminal defendant facing four felony charges, must adhere to his conditions of release. The judge emphasized that his political campaign does not grant him the freedom to vilify public servants. This order restricts Trump's ability to use derogatory language towards prosecutors.

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

BREAKING: Federal Judge Tanya Chutkan has just issued a gag order on former President Donald Trump. Do you agree with the order? She said: “This is not about whether I like the language Mr. Trump uses… This is about language that presents a danger to the administration of justice. His presidential candidacy does not give him carte blanche to vilify public servants who are simply doing their jobs. “Mr. Trump is a criminal defendant. He is facing four felony charges. He is under the supervision of the criminal justice system and he must follow his conditions of release… When you start to use a word like ‘thug’ to describe a prosecutor doing their job, that wouldn’t be allowed by any other criminal defendant… Just because the defendant is running a political campaign does not allow him to do whatever he wants.”

Hamas released footage showing militants with kidnapped children, making one child say "bismillah" before drinking water. This act is seen as anti-semitic and evil. These innocent kids suffer due to this insanity. Israel's right to defend and rescue them should not be questioned. The pain inflicted on these children and their families is unacceptable.

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

BREAKING: Hamas has reportedly just released this footage showing their militants with children they allegedly kidnapped. In the video they also appear to make a child repeat an antisemitic word before he can drink his water. How can anyone support this insanity, this evil, and this pain that is being caused to children and their families? These kids are the definition of “innocent.” They have done nothing wrong to anyone. To believe that Israel has no right to attack back, or try and rescue these children is absurd!

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

CLARIFICATION: I said that the word "bismillah" is an anti-semitic word. The word actually means "in the name of Allah," so in itself it definitely isn't anti-semitic, but in the way this Jewish child was forced to use it, I do believe that is anti-semitic. Forcing a Jewish child to say "in the name of Allah" while you hold him hostage is anti-semitic and pure evil. To a lot of Jewish people it would be viewed as anti-semitic to make a Jewish person say the word before they can drink a glass of water.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck reportedly banned from AppleiTunes without explanation. Disagree with his views, but if it's a free speech issue, Apple's move seems wrong. Await Apple's reason or if it was a mistake. No recent major controversy or hateful message from Beck. Support his free speech or think Apple should ban his podcast? Thoughts?

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

BREAKING: Conservative commentator Glenn Beck has reportedly been banned from Apple/iTunes without any explanation. First I must say, I completely disagree with so much of what Glenn Beck has to say, and I think a lot of his politics are absurd. With that said, if Beck has actually been banned merely for voicing his free speech, I think it’s wrong of Apple to do. It will be interesting to see what reason Apple gives for this banning, or if it was done by mistake. I am unaware of any recent major controversy, or hateful over-the-top message that Beck has spread over the airwaves. What are your thoughts? Do you support Glenn Beck’s free speech or do you believe that for some reason Apple should ban his podcast?

Apple has removed the Glenn Beck Program from Apple Podcasts due to an issue that needs to be resolved. The link provided for more details only states that the show has been removed. The speaker expresses disbelief and questions the basis for the removal, as there have been no strikes or problematic content. They urge listeners to retweet and campaign for Apple to reinstate the podcast, emphasizing it as a matter of freedom of speech. The speaker suggests that it may just be a glitch that needs to be brought to Apple's attention before the podcast is restored.

Speaker 0: Just sitting here in my office, and we're discussing something that we just saw here. This is from Apple. We found an issue with your show, the Glenn Beck Program, which must be resolved before it's available on Apple Podcasts. Your show has been removed from Apple Podcasts, from the Apple Podcasts team. They sent us the link and said for more details, go to the link. And The link only says, your show has been removed from Apple Podcasts. Well, we got that 1 dummy. I mean, I cannot imagine what they are what they're basing this one on. I mean, have we even had strikes? Nothing, right? This is crazy, crazy. You need to Please retweet this and start a campaign to Apple to say, put the podcast back on. This is absolutely freedom of speech. There's nothing that we have said that would warrant any removal. Again, it's probably just a glitch, but it's amazing how we have to have a whole bunch of people point out the glitch before the glitch is found and it's put back.

In a recent story by Taylor Lorenz, I support most of her reporting. However, her piece titled "Far right Twitter influencers first on Elon Musk's monetization scheme" is flawed. The article wrongly claims that the ad revenue sharing announcement was made on Thursday, when it actually happened in February. Moreover, the influencers mentioned were not all far-right, as myself and others received payments too. Left-leaning individuals had already revealed their participation. This article by Taylor Lorenz and the Washington Post is an example of poor reporting.

@EdKrassen - Ed Krassenstein

I want to address some things regarding Taylor Lorenz's Washington Post story. 1) I support most of her reporting. 2) Her story entitled "Far right Twitter influencers first on Elon Musk's monetization scheme" is a terrible piece of journalism 3) The article states, "On Thursday Twitter announced that it would begin sharing ad revenue with content creators." Fact is, this announcement actually came back in February. I specifically remember it as do many others. 4) Her article goes on to claim, "The first beneficiaries appear to be string of high profile far right influencers who tweeted before the announcement how much they’ve earned..." Again, this is factually incorrect. Twitter sent out notifications to those receiving money at around 12:42PM ET on Thursday. The first person tweeting about being paid was Ashley St. Clair at 1:04PM ET, followed by Benny Johnson at 1:14PM ET and then many others. All of the influencers were not "far right influencers," unless you consider myself and Brian Krassenstein to be "far right." We both received more than any of those individuals mentioned in Taylor's article. Mr. Beast ($25K) also received about the same as Brian and I. He definitely is not "far right." 5) At the time of Taylor Lorenz's article, several left-leaning people had already tweeted that they were paid, including ourselves and Katherine Brodsky, but she claims in the article that "So far, the influencers who have publicly revealed that they’re part of the program are prominent figures on the right." At the time, Brian's tweet about his payment had already received over 5 million impressions. This article was very bad reporting on behalf of the Washington Post and Taylor Lorenz, and that's coming from someone who normally likes the WaPo.

Conservatives are sharing a video clip of Joe Biden allegedly admitting to selling state secrets. Some claim it proves corruption, while others say it's evidence of dementia. However, the clip is taken out of context and doesn't include Biden's full statement. It's irresponsible to use edited clips to push a narrative. Watch the full video for the complete context.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and other conservatives are sharing a cut from a video that appears to show Joe Biden admitting to selling state secrets. Some conservatives are claiming that this shows Biden is corrupt while others are claiming that it is evidence of dementia. Context matters. They are deceiving you by only showing a small portion of the video which doesn’t show Biden saying “all kidding aside.” Context matters. This is irresponsible if you are taking sections of a video to sell an narrative you want people to believe. You can see the full context below.
