I have updates on our efforts to protect the homeland. A jury in California found Jinchao Wei, a U.S. Navy sailor and naturalized citizen from China, guilty of espionage. Wei knowingly shared U.S. national defense information with a Chinese intelligence officer, risking his citizenship and ultimately losing everything. We emphasize that China aggressively targets U.S. military personnel. If approached for military information, report it. Be aware of red flags, such as unsolicited contacts or offers for payment. Protecting national security is crucial. More updates to follow.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

Your @FBI has more updates for you on our efforts to defend the homeland and protect the American people.   Today in the southern district of California, a jury found Jinchao Wei, a naturalized US citizen from China and a U.S. Navy sailor, guilty of espionage.   Wei lied when he took his oath to defend the United States to become a sailor. Prior to celebrating his U.S. citizenship, Wei sent U.S. national defense information to a Chinese intelligence officer.   Wei admitted he knew his actions to help China would be viewed as spying and affect his pending citizenship. Still he decided to STEAL military information, secretly transmit it to China, and cover his tracks until he got caught by the FBI and our partners. Wei risked everything…and he LOST.    China’s intelligence officers AGGRESSIVELY target U.S. military members with and without clearances.  ANYONE can be a target of China’s Communist Party under the right circumstances. -If anyone offers you money or compensation for ANY kind of military information, whether it belongs to the U.S. or our allies, this is suspicious and you should report it. -If someone offers to pay you for your opinion, pictures of military facilities, screenshots of military documents, names, or information about other military members, this is suspicious and you should report it.   China’s intelligence officers WILL hide their true affiliation. Here are some red flags to look out for: -A former colleague reaches out to you, maybe out of the blue, and asks questions about sensitive programs that you’re working on. -They introduce you to a foreign national who shows interest in your work. -Someone you don’t know contacts you to write a paper about sensitive work-related topics. -They want to move conversations to private messaging channels like Signal or WeChat. -At first, they might only ask for publicly available information, but gradually insist on more sensitive or classified information. -Offer to pay you MORE money for NON-PUBLIC information. -Want you to recruit others with more or different access than you have. -You try to cut off contact, but they keep messaging you. -They ask you to sign a receipt for payment.   The disclosure of national defense information could place the national security of the United States at risk. It can reveal our country’s security posture against foreign invasion, endanger our military personnel, erode our economic security, undermine U.S. intelligence operations, and take away our negotiating advantage. Report suspicious behaviors and contacts you suspect could be from a foreign adversary. More to come. God bless America, and all who defend her.

It's disheartening to see media figures fixated on false narratives. Sean accurately outlines the attempts to undermine President Trump. I urge caution in accepting media-driven narratives about the collusion hoax, especially considering their past roles and new information we've uncovered.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

It’s sad that we have to constantly go through this exercise with media figures obsessed with false narratives. Sean is correct, as he lays out the fact pattern about the attempted takedown of President Trump. I STRONGLY caution you against accepting media driven narratives about the collusion hoax, given their roles in promoting the hoax in the first place, and the discovery of new information since the Director and I took over.

@seanmdav - Sean Davis

That's not what it shows at all. The New York Times is straight up lying. 1) The Durham annex never states at all that the specific intelligence was “fabricated.” It says the opposite, that his office was never able to “determine definitively whether the purported Clinton campaign plan [intelligence]…was entirely genuine, partially true, a composite pulled from multiple sources, exaggerated in certain respects, or fabricated in its entirety.” 2) At the time the intel which Ben Smith says was “fake” was received, John Brennan took it so seriously that he briefed Obama about it, took notes about it, and stashed the notes away in his safe. 3) James Comey specifically went under oath and cited the Clinton plan intelligence as one of the major reasons he chose to unilaterally usurp the authority of Loretta Lynch and to declare that the U.S. government would not charge Hillary Clinton for her use of an illegal private email server. 4) Comey told Congress that he believed the Clinton plan intelligence was “genuine.” “So far as I knew at the time, and still think,” Comey testified on December 7, 2018, “the material itself was genuine[.]” 5) FBI general counsel James Baker said he was “greatly concerned” about the intel and specifically Lynch’s reaction when confronted with it. Durham’s report said Baker “did not dismiss the credibility” of the intel reports. Andrew McCabe likewise said he was struck by Lynch’s “odd” reaction to the allegations. 6) Everyone on earth knows the Clinton campaign launched a scheme to falsely claim that Trump colluded with Russia. This new claim that somehow it was a fabrication that the Clinton campaign ran an op to falsely tie Trump to Russia is beyond insane. It's sociopathic.

This week, Cadence Design Systems pleaded guilty to criminal export violations, agreeing to pay over $140 million in penalties for selling sensitive semiconductor design tools to a restricted Chinese military university. This incident serves as a crucial reminder for the semiconductor industry to adhere to export control laws and monitor technology distribution closely. I commend the efforts of the FBI and the Commerce Department in safeguarding our technology. Protecting our homeland and the American people remains a top priority. God bless America and those who defend her.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

More updates for you on our efforts to defend the homeland and protect the American people from our foreign adversaries.   This week, Cadence Design Systems Inc., a multinational electronic design automation software and hardware company, plead GUILTY to committing criminal export violations and will pay more than $140 MILLION in criminal and civil penalties. Cadence sold SENSITIVE semiconductor design tools and technology to a RESTRICTED Chinese military university involved in the development of supercomputers which are believed to support military and nuclear explosion simulations in China.   Our country’s talented technology innovators – particularly within Silicon Valley’s semiconductor industry – stand amongst the best in the world. Your FBI, along with our partners, will continue to protect our most sensitive industries and innovators from reaching the hands of our ENEMIES. This plea deal is a wakeup call for the semiconductor industry to take our export control laws SERIOUSLY and to better monitor where our leading-edge technology is going. The FBI will never stop working to identify and stop these ILLEGAL actions.   I’d like to highlight the great work of @FBISanFrancisco, the FBI Counterintelligence Division, and the @CommerceGov for their continued efforts to safeguard this technology. This work is CRITICAL to defending the homeland and protecting you, the American people.   God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

As the Deputy Director of the FBI, I've emphasized that significant actions are underway, even if they're not immediately visible. The Director and I are dedicated to addressing public corruption and the misuse of law enforcement and intelligence. The revelations from our investigations have profoundly affected me; I believe we cannot sustain our Republic under these conditions. We will pursue these investigations lawfully and diligently, seeking the truth for all. God bless America and those who protect her. Respectfully, Dan.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening.  The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations. It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned.  We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not “my truth,” or “your truth,” but THE TRUTH.  God bless America, and all those who defend Her. Respectfully, Dan

Police officers who viewed the laptop content experienced severe reactions, including vomiting, crying, and suicidal thoughts, with many no longer alive. The content depicts a ritualistic act involving child sacrifice and torture. The purpose is to bring up a demonic through the blood of the child. The ritual involves witchcraft, with the child placed in a pentagram circle while incantations are performed. The victims are tortured; one case involves a child chained to a tree, and another shows a child chained to a bed with a doctor present. One victim was a 10-year-old girl chained to a tree.

Speaker 0: It was on his laptop and the policemen I saw were throwing up and retching and crying and a lot of them just couldn't live with it. They actually saw way more than I saw and mine was bad enough. A lot of them, I don't know if they actually committed suicide or they were suicidal, but a lot of the police that saw this aren't alive anymore, a good majority of them. Yeah. That being said, so we'll go into it. But the purpose of this is twofold, to bring up a demonic through the blood of the child. It's a witchcraft. The child's in the pentagram circle symbol thing. They're doing the incantation and then they start torturing this young person that is in one case chained to a tree and in the other case to a bed. And the one with the bed had a doctor in attendance, the one with the tree, which was a 10 year old girl chained to a tree.

I haven't done media interviews until now because I want to focus on the work for you. We chose a long-form interview with Maria Bartiromo to share our efforts. We are moving the FBI headquarters out of the Hoover Building, and I've reviewed the Jeffrey Epstein case, confirming he killed himself with no evidence to suggest otherwise. Accountability is crucial, and we are actively addressing bad actors. Our priorities include making communities safer through various operations, and we are committed to maintaining high standards in counter-terrorism and intelligence missions. God bless America.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

I haven’t done any media interviews to this point because I want to keep the attention on the work. I don’t work for myself anymore, I work for you.  But it is important to relay to you what we’re doing, and the media can be a tool for that. That’s why we chose a long-form interview with Maria Bartiromo for our first interview. I hope you saw it. If you missed it, here are some of the questions that were asked and answered: -Yes, we are moving FBI headquarters out of the Hoover Building. The process has already begun. Stay tuned for updates on the details and timelines. -I was asked about some of the details surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case. I have reviewed the case. Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. There’s no evidence in the case file indicating otherwise. I’m not asking you to believe me, or not. I’m telling you what exists, and what doesn’t. If new evidence surfaces I’m happy to reevaluate. -I was challenged on “accountability.” It’s a fair question. I aggressively responded because the Director and I have been working tirelessly to uncover the bad actors. We cannot get into HR specifics, and this creates an information vacuum. Unfortunately bad actors looking to tell you “a story,” not THE story, want you to believe we haven’t taken harsh and decisive action against rogue employees. That’s absolutely false. And the bad actors know it.  -We were asked about FBI priorities. The Director and I told Maria that the President, the Attorney General, the Director, and I are absolutely committed to getting your FBI back to its roots. We will make your communities safer. Illegal immigration ops, child sex crimes investigations, 764 cases, and violent criminal fugitive apprehensions are all on our expanding radar. And while America is enjoying the summer we are already planning a massive operation to clean up your streets. The counter-terror and counter-intell missions are critical and will continue at our customary high-tempo too. This is what you pay us for.  God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

As Deputy Director of the FBI, I work alongside Director Patel to manage our agency and address past mistakes to prevent their recurrence. While we don't lead investigations into threats against the President or make prosecutorial decisions, we support federal agencies in enforcing the law. Recently, former Director Comey has once again brought shame to the FBI, and we often find ourselves cleaning up after his leadership failures. I can't share all our reform efforts publicly, but I assure you they are underway. God bless America and those who protect her.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

As the Deputy Director of the FBI, I am charged, standing with Director Patel, with managing the most powerful law enforcement agency in the world. The Director and I are also responsible for looking at grave mistakes made by people within the FBI in the past, and ensuring they never happen again. And while the FBI does not have primary investigative responsibility for investigating threats against the POTUS, and we do not make prosecutorial decisions, we do have the ability and authority to support other federal agencies for violations of federal law. And we certainly have a responsibility to comment on matters involving former FBI officials, and allegations of law-breaking. That said, former FBI Director James Comey brought shame to the FBI badge, yet again, this past week. The Director and I spend an inordinate amount of time cleaning up messes left behind by former Director Comey. And his latest actions are no exception. As I’ve stated in the past, I cannot post openly about all the things the Director and I are doing to reform the enterprise, but I assure you, they are happening. Sadly, many of those agenda items are the result of former Director Comey’s poor decision making and atrocious leadership. And to those who doubt me, I assure you, when you see what the Director and I see from the inside, it’s even worse. I’m addressing this now, rather than on our interview with Maria Bartiromo tomorrow, because we recorded that interview earlier in the week prior to the incident with Comey. God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

I wanted to address an upcoming piece by Adam Goldman from the NY Times about my time at the FBI training facility. The focus will be on an incident where I reportedly injured my shoulder while grappling with our skilled defensive tactics instructors. In reality, I experienced some swelling in my elbow, not an injury, and it’s just a part of being 50 and not recovering like I used to. I believe in getting on the mats regardless. Unfortunately, I doubt Adam understands that perspective.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

FYI, Adam Goldman of the NY Times is getting ready to run another one of their “journalism” exposé pieces about me spending time in our FBI training facility ground fighting with our dedicated and skilled defensive tactics instructors. Their big news “hook” is that after a solid few rounds of grappling, I injured my shoulder. Because it’s Adam Goldman, you can generally assume he’s wrong, and he is, again. The instructor I was grappling with got the best of me, because he’s incredibly talented. That’s why he’s there. And it was my not an “injury” but a bit of swelling in my right elbow, not shoulder, because I’m 50 years old and I can’t recover like I used to. But I felt it was important to get on the mats any way, because that’s what men do. But Adam doesn’t know much about that. And he never will. Because he’s Adam, from the NY Times. Thanks, Dan

I’ll be providing regular updates to ensure transparency. The Director and I are addressing transparency issues carefully, prioritizing the well-being of victims and avoiding rushed decisions. While we focus on these matters, we are also managing serious threats to our homeland, children, economy, and infrastructure. I recognize concerns about the pace of change, but I assure you that progress is being made, even if it’s not visible yet. Results will come, and while not everyone may be satisfied, change is underway. God bless America and those who defend her.

@FBIDDBongino - Dan Bongino

In the best interests of openness and transparency I’ll be posting regular information updates on this account. -The Director and I are working through many of the transparency issues. We are focused on getting this done the right way, and as quickly and efficiently as possible. Many of these cases involve victims, both young and old, who we will not allow to be re-victimized by a rushed and sloppy effort. -We are engaging with all of our personnel on transparency, while simultaneously dealing with a number of serious threats to the Homeland, our children, our economy, and our infrastructure. We absolutely cannot afford to miss any threats in those spaces. Multi-tasking isn’t an option here. -I am well aware of some of the early concerns expressed on social media about the speed of change. I understand. But I’ll state again, if you think I upended my prior job and lifestyle to take a vacation in FBI headquarters, then I can’t help you. You’ve already decided, despite logic and reason, that all is lost. It is not. Not even close. Because you don’t see things happening in live time, does not mean change isn’t happening. Not even close. You will see results, and not every result will please everyone, but you will absolutely see results. Just watch. -God bless America, and all those who defend Her. -Dan
