I am concerned about a potential black swan event in 2024 due to national security threats and global tensions, especially in Israel and Ukraine. The division in our country could make us vulnerable to adversaries like North Korea, China, and Iran.

Speaker 0: Oh, mine's a little dark. I just feel a lot of concern that 2024 may be the year of a black swan event. This is a national security event with high impact that's very hard to predict. There are a number of cons, concerns I have that factor into that. And not only this, sort of enduring heightened threat level that we're facing, the wars in Israel, also Ukraine. And we're so divided in this country in ways that we haven't seen before, and I think that just creates fertile ground for our adversaries like North Korea, China, and Iran. And that's what, concerns me most.

There are 40 premature babies who need to be evacuated, but there is no news of any coordinated action from the Israeli military. The hospital is not functional, with no working incubators for the premature babies. The prime minister of Israel suggested taking the patients out of the hospital, but it requires weeks of organization and a ceasefire. There have been reports of people being prevented from leaving the hospital, and there have been accidents, including snipers and bombings inside the hospital.

Speaker 0: I understand many of your doctors are working at Al Shifa Hospital and said 2 infants died due to lack of electricity, the inability to keep incubators on. There are 40 premature babies who need to evacuate. Will the Israeli military help these children evacuate? Speaker 1: So far, we don't have any news about any coordinated action What we see are hundreds of patients that they have underwent the surgery very soon and, very recently, and now they cannot be just Take a and and and walk out of the hospital. And next to them, we have, newborn babies that they needed premature babies that they needed support. They They were supposed to be in incubators. No incubator works this moment in Al Sifa. And actually, Al Sifa doesn't work. It's not functional anymore. Speaker 0: The prime minister of Israel has said there's no reason why we can't just take the patients out of the hospital. What's your response Speaker 1: to that? To evacuate a hospital, you need time. You need weeks. It's not within 24 hours. And we said that several times in the past also, that it takes a lot of good organization to evacuate the hospital. And next to this coordination, it takes also a ceasefire. We have reports that people trying to leave the hospital also have been shut down. Speaker 0: By the Speaker 1: way We had also accidents, as snipers.
