I stand by exactly what I said when I told ICE to get the f*** out of Minneapolis after the shooting involving Renee Good and a DHS agent. I was reacting to the federal government’s immediate conclusions that the ICE agent acted in self-defense and that the victim was a domestic terrorist. My concern is that when the investigation is conducted by the government, trust in it is harder.

NEW: Minneapolis Mayor Frey doubles down after he told ICE to "get the f*** out of Minneapolis" in the aftermath of the shooting involving Renee Good and a DHS agent. MAYOR FREY: “I stand by exactly what I said." "To be clear, what I was responding to was an immediate conclusion that had been drawn by the federal government, where they said, one, the ICE agent was acting in self-defense, and then shortly thereafter saying that the victim was a domestic terrorist." "My deep concern is when the conclusion is drawn by the government that's actually doing the investigation itself. It's much harder to trust the investigation."

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker addresses immigration enforcement and the investigation into the Minneapolis incident, focusing on the response of ICE and the broader process of accountability. He begins by referencing the instruction to “get the out of Minneapolis” and questions, in hindsight, whether that was the appropriate response. He states that he stands by exactly what he said, and clarifies that his remarks were a reaction to an immediate conclusion drawn by the federal government. That conclusion asserted that the ICE agent was acting in self-defense and, shortly thereafter, labeled the victim as a domestic terrorist. The speaker emphasizes the need to conduct a full and fair investigation. He expresses a deep concern about trust in the investigative process when the government that is conducting the investigation itself has drawn initial conclusions. He argues that when the federal government, which is responsible for the investigation, announces conclusions first, it becomes harder for the public to trust the investigation. He asserts that it is important for the American people to gain trust in the process. The speaker then voices specific concerns about relying exclusively on the FBI rather than also involving the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). He notes that the BCA is an entity with police officers, law enforcement personnel, and attorneys who have extensive experience investigating officer-involved shootings. He mentions that the BCA has previously conducted investigations that have led to both charges and non-charges, implying that their involvement could influence the proceedings. Finally, he states a principle: no one should hide from the facts. If people are being transparent and not hiding from the facts, they should ensure that the investigation is full and fair. The overall message stresses the importance of trust, balance in investigative leadership, and a commitment to a comprehensive review of the incident, rather than premature or exclusive conclusions by one investigative authority.

Speaker 0: To ICE, get the out of Minneapolis. In hindsight, mister mayor, was that the appropriate response? I stand by exactly what I said. And to be clear, what I was responding to was an immediate conclusion that had been drawn by the federal government, where they said, one, the ICE agent was acting in self defense, and then shortly thereafter saying that the victim was a domestic terrorist. We need to be doing everything possible right now to have a full and fair investigation. And my deep concern is when the conclusion is drawn by the government that's actually doing the investigation itself, it's much harder to trust the investigation. We need to make sure that the American people can earn and gain that trust. And, yes, I think there's deep concerns with having exclusively the FBI and not our Bureau of Criminal Apprehension at the state level conducting the investigation itself. This is an entity that has police officers and law enforcement and attorneys, people that have deep experience in investigating cases involving an officer involved shooting. And by the way, they've come to conclusions and investigated cases that have resulted in charges and the lack thereof. And so, you know, our pitch is, look, know none of us should hide from the facts here. And if we're not hiding from them, then let's make sure it's a full and fair investigation.

Today an ICE officer seriously injured in the Chicago Suburbs. This was the scene just moments ago, Franklin Park, Illinois, an incident ICE sources tell Fox is being dealt with like an attempted murder of an ICE officer. It happened, as I mentioned, in Franklin Park that is near O'Hare Airport during an enforcement operation against a criminal illegal alien. We're told the bus turned violent when the suspect hit an officer, dragging him under the front bumper of his car as he tried to escape. The officer fired shots and killed the suspect. That officer suffered severe injuries, but the latest that we are told is in stable condition. And we will bring you updates as we get them.

"There were some comments about 'White people shouldn't be out here'... Definitely it was a little scary, and then when they started circling... It was just an attack that should've never happened." Holly, victim in the viral Cincinnati attack, recalls brutal beatdown in exclusive @IngrahamAngle interview

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker recounts leaving a club while waiting for an Uber. Outside, the speaker and their group were attacked, with one person beaten severely. The speaker intervened to help. Before the attack, racist comments were directed at members of the group who were from Russia, with threats made to "beat up the Russians." Other comments included telling "white people" that they "shouldn't be out here" and threatening them with violence. The speaker describes being circled before the attack began. The speaker notes that some of the individuals arrested have extensive criminal records, including the man who punched the speaker, who had recently been released from jail on felony charges. The speaker questions why these individuals were free to commit the assault.

Speaker 0: Take us back to that night. You know, what time it was, you were you were out and you're enjoying yourself, and and what happened when you went outside to leave where you were? Just give us some background on that. Speaker 1: So we were just leaving waiting for our Uber. You know, when we were leaving the club, nothing inside. There was no hate or anything bad that had happened. So when we came outside, you know, it was pretty shocking when we were being surrounded and, know, the the people that I was with at the birthday party were being attacked and, know, somebody being beat to an inch of their life in front of me. I had I felt the need to step in and try and help. Speaker 0: Was there anything said? There was no words exchanged between you, your friends, and the individuals? Many of them well, some of them already charged. No words exchanged? Speaker 1: Not really. No. I mean, when we came outside, there were some racist comments. I guess some of the people that we were with were from, the country of Russia, and, there there were a bunch of Russian comments and some people saying that they wanted to beat up the Russians. So I don't even know how they knew where they were from. And then there were some comments about, you know, white people shouldn't be out here or we're gonna go night night, you white bleep words. And so, you know, definitely, it was a little scary, then when they started circling, yeah, there were it was just an attack that should have never happened, and there were a lot of people in the attack now that some of the people have been arrested. They have rap sheets that go on for days, and especially the man who punched me in the face. He had just got out of jail a few months before for and had felonies on him, and I just I don't understand why he was running the streets and a lot of, other people should have never even been out of jail to even do this to me or the others.

The speaker is upset by the desensitization of people who record violent attacks instead of helping. They hope for a bill to prosecute or fine individuals who fail to call 911 during such events. The speaker believes this, along with proper police funding, will improve the situation. They emphasize the need for citizens to help each other and support humanity.

Speaker 0: The biggest thing that I think really upsets me is the desensitization of humans where somebody there's a a brutal attack attempted murder in front of you, and they all think, oh, cool. Let me get my phone and record it. I truly hope that in the future, there's some sort of bill to where somebody has to be prosecuted or at least fined if they don't call 911 to save someone's life. And I think that's gonna help a lot, not just, you know, funding more police, which we do need, which I really hope moving forward, you know, we get the proper police. But like he said, it comes also from the citizens. We all need to help each other out and start helping humanity.

And and it's interesting to see how when they do cover this, they don't actually cover the revelations that these intelligence reports and the evidence that that we released actually conveys to the American people. They simply talk about their criticisms of it or convey Democrat politicians' criticisms of it, but none of them actually dealing with the truth that has been revealed.

A robotics deal with Canada is achievable within days or weeks if both parties agree. Iran wants to talk and should do so immediately before it's too late, as they are not winning. The US has always supported Israel. China's inclusion in the G7 was suggested. Putin doesn't speak to those who ousted him from the G8, a move that Obama and Trudeau initiated, which was a mistake because it may have prevented the war. ICE is ordered to target Democratic inner cities due to sanctuary city policies. Speaker 0: G seven summit in Canada. Let's watch. Speaker 1: Didn't have a chance to see you on the on the day. Happy birthday to the US military, as well, 200. And, and this is, the fiftieth birthday, if you will, of the g seven. This marks the fiftieth birthday of the g seven, and the g seven is nothing without US leadership. And so and your personal leadership, leadership in The United States, many issues, geopolitics, economic, technology, and working hand in hand with The United States, Canada and The United States, and the other G7 partners with your leadership. I'm very much looking forward to the meeting and grateful to have you here. Speaker 2: Very much, Mark. I appreciate it, and we've developed a very good relationship, and we're gonna be talking about trade and many other things. And we have a whole group of people, some traders and some other people. I see my top economy people, but we have a a very talented group of people, and you do too, and I know they've worked together very well. I look forward to that. The g seven used to be the g eight. Barack Obama and, a person named Trudeau didn't wanna have Russia in. Then I would say that that was a mistake because I think you wouldn't have a war right now if you had Russia in. And you wouldn't have a war right now if Trump were president, four years ago, but it didn't work out that way. But it used to be the g eight, and now it's I guess, what's that, nine years ago, eight years ago, it switched over. They threw Russia out, which I claimed was a very big mistake even though I wasn't in politics then. I was very loud about it. It was a mistake in that you spend so much time talking about Russia, and he's no longer at the table. So it makes life more complicated, but you wouldn't have had the war. And, other than that, I think we're gonna accomplish a lot, and I expect to and I think our primary focus will be trade and trade with Canada, and I'm sure we can work something out. Speaker 0: What what is holding up a deal with Canada from your perspective? Speaker 2: It's not so much holding up. I think we have different concepts. I have a tariff concept. Mark has a different concept, which is something that some people like. But, we're gonna see if we can get to the bottom of it today. I'm a I'm a tariff person. I've always been a tariff. Simple. It's easy. It's precise, And it just goes very quickly. And I think Mark has a a more complex idea, but also very good. So we're gonna look at both, and we're gonna see what we're gonna come out with something, hopefully. Mister Speaker 0: president, I don't even like the deal, in robotics. Deal is achievable within days, within weeks? Is there that kind of runway? Speaker 2: Yeah. It's achievable. Both parties have to agree. Yeah. Sure. Speaker 0: Mister president, you seen it have you heard any signals or seen any messages from intermediaries that Iran wishes to deescalate the conflict? Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 0: What have you what have you heard? Speaker 3: What have you heard from the Iranians? Speaker 2: They'd like to talk, but they should have done that before. I I had sixty days, and they had sixty days. And on the sixty first day, I said, we don't have a deal. They have to make a deal. And, it's painful for both parties, but I'd say Iran is, not winning this war. And, they should talk, and they should talk immediately before it's too late. Speaker 0: And what would you say, in your opinion, what would it take for The US to get involved in this conflict militarily? Speaker 2: I don't wanna talk about that. Speaker 0: And you mentioned Putin. Do you think that he should have a seat at the g seven today, that it should be the g Speaker 2: I'm not saying he should at this point because too much water's gone over the dam maybe. But, it was a big mistake. Obama didn't want him, and the, head of your country, the proud head of your country didn't want him. This was a big mistake. You wouldn't have that war. You know, you have your enemy at the table even I don't even consider him. He wasn't an really an enemy at that time. There was no concept. If I were president, this war would have never happened. But likewise, if he were a member of the what was called the g eight at that time, it was always the g eight, you wouldn't have a war right now. Why not Israel that serial support Speaker 0: and what intelligence support are you providing Israel? Speaker 2: We've always supported Israel. We have for a long period of time strongly, and Israel is doing very well right now. Speaker 1: Why don't you have a China you make Speaker 2: of Canada's biggest economy in the world after The United States? Speaker 1: Well, it's not a bad idea. Speaker 2: I don't mind that. If somebody wants to suggest China coming in, I think we suggest. But you wanna have people that you can talk to. You know, they they don't talk. Putin speaks to me. He doesn't speak to anybody else. He doesn't wanna talk because he was very insulted when he got thrown out of the GA. As I would be, as you would be, as anybody would be. He was very insulted. And, I mean, he was thrown out by Trudeau who convinced one or two people along with Obama. He was thrown out, and he's, not a happy person about it. I can tell you that. He's basically doesn't even speak to the people that throw him out, and I agree with him. Speaker 0: Immigration. Why are you ordering ICE to target Democratic inner cities? What's behind that? Speaker 2: I don't know what you're saying. You you did Speaker 0: a post last night where you said you want ICE to really target Democrats? Speaker 2: Yeah. I want them to focus on the cities because the cities are where you really have what's called sanctuary sanctuary cities, and that's where the people are. I look at New York. I look at Chicago. I mean, you got a really bad governor in Chicago and a bad mayor. Questions. But the governor's probably the worst in the country, Pritzker. But I look at how that city has been overrun by criminals. And, you know, New York and LA, look at LA. LA, those people weren't from LA. They weren't from California, most of those people many of those people. And, yeah, I that's that's the focus. Biden allowed 21,000,000 people to come into our country. Of that, vast numbers of those people were murderers, killers, people from gangs, people from jails. They empty their jails out into The US. Most of those people are in the cities, all blue cities, all Democrat run cities, and they think they're gonna use them to vote. It's not gonna happen. Speaker 1: Thank you. If you Speaker 2: don't mind Speaker 1: Yep. Sure. Just I'm gonna exercise my role Yes. If you will, as g seven chair since we have a few more minutes with the president and his team, and then we actually have to start the meeting to address some of these big issues. Will you put him on? Thank you. Thank media. Let's go. Thank you, Bob. That's it. That's it. Thank you very Speaker 0: much. Let's go. Speaker 2: Out. Good. Good. Come, guys. Speaker 1: Out. "A great tragedy and a failure of our justice system" Marine veteran and young father is fighting for his life after being shot allegedly by an illegal immigrant who had been previously arrested four times — and every time released from jail https://t.co/QABZmHXela

Jimmy Friesenhahn, a Marine veteran and father, was allegedly shot by Wilmer Ortega Ruiz, an illegal alien with multiple prior arrests, while working security at a San Antonio bar. Ortega Ruiz allegedly tried entering the bar with a gun, a struggle ensued, and Jimmy was shot three times, leaving him paralyzed and unable to speak. Jimmy's sister, Becky Borjon, believes the shooting highlights a failure of the justice system and open border policies. She says Ortega Ruiz had a detainer placed on him by ICE after the shooting. His prior arrests include a DWI in 2020, probation violation in 2023, failure to appear in court in 2023, and another arrest in 2024. Emmanuel Martinez, Jimmy's brother-in-law, says the Bexar County DA is soft on crime and that illegal immigrants are released easier than citizens. Ortega Ruiz is charged with aggravated assault, but Becky believes the intent was murder, as he unloaded a full clip.

Speaker 0: Sandra, this is a tragic story. Jimmy Friesenhahn, father of a five month old girl and a 14 year marine corps veteran fighting for his life now after he was allegedly shot by an illegal alien who's a multiple criminal offender. Joining us now are Jimmy's sister, Becky Borjon, and his brother-in-law, Emmanuel Martinez. Folks, thanks for being with us at this difficult time. Really appreciate it. I just wanna take a moment to set up the backstory here so folks at home know what we're talking about. This happened back on May. Jimmy was working security at the El Patio Sports Bar in San Antonio, Texas. He was at the door. He saw a gun in the pocket of a guy who was trying to enter the bar. He tried to confiscate the the gun. A struggle ensued. Jimmy was shot three times, twice in the bulletproof vest, and once right through the neck, which is now left him paralyzed and unable to speak. Now we find out that the alleged gunman, Wilmer Ortega Ruiz, was in the country illegally, had been arrested four times and every time released from jail. Becky, your thoughts about all of this. Speaker 1: I think it's a great tragedy and a failure of our justice system, people who represent, and and allowed for our open borders. Our last administration allowed those open borders really soft on those crimes, criminals. And I think it's just unfair and unjust to the citizens of America who are here legally, the immigrants who come legally, there is no intent to cause harm or crimes. These illegal immigrants that repeatedly get released over and over, that's I don't understand that at all. Speaker 0: So here's the arrest record of this fella, Artego Ruiz. A a detainer was placed on him by ICE 05/04/2025 right after the incident happened at the El Patio. His first arrest was a DWI in October of twenty twenty. Second arrest, he violated probation in August of twenty twenty three. Failed to show in court September the twenty September 2023. That was his third arrest. Then a fourth arrest, November of twenty twenty four. This is in Bexar County. And, Emmanuel, your opinion of how the sheriff in Bexar and then the district attorney in Bexar have handled this particular individual? Speaker 2: Well, I mean, everybody knows here in in Bexar County that the DA is soft on these crimes, Joe Gonzales. I think the pressure finally got to him. He's decided to not run for reelection. You know, this is a blue county in a red state, so it just seems like we're always gonna have this repeatedly. We're never gonna be able to break out of this. But it's, it's shameful. It's disgraceful that it almost seems like these people that are illegal in this country are getting released easier than a normal citizen that would get a DUI or something else. Doesn't make any sense to us. Speaker 0: Yeah. I know. I meant to Speaker 1: say cat. Justice. Speaker 0: Yeah. I meant to say bear cat. I apologize for the mispronunciation. So Ortega Ruiz has been charged now after shooting your brother with aggravated assault. Becky, that's not sitting well with you. Speaker 1: Not at all. When you unload a full clip, the intent is not assault. The intent is murder. He was there to cause harm and murder someone. Maybe not my brother, but someone. So the intent has been there, and it's more than an aggravated assault.

So it must have been, some some back and forth going on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 1: Yeah. And how are you doing now? Speaker 3: Good. I've recovered a lot. A lot of people have been texting me. People from out of state, University of Michigan friends have been texting me. People from South Florida have been texting me. People from high school have been texting me. Doing a lot better. It's been a community that surrounded me since then. I definitely didn't think I'd be traumatized as much as I have. Definitely not being on the scene, but being kind of away from it. But, yeah, it's been it's been scary. So I'm doing a lot better now. Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 3: Yeah. That's Speaker 1: good. That's good. Is there anything that you wish would have happened differently? Speaker 3: Yeah. No. I think the police responded very quickly. I think they did a great job. Yeah. I I I don't really know what else what could have happened. Maybe there's more police presence at certain areas for there not to be a shooter. I mean, I think that's just like the most obvious thing, but yeah. Speaker 1: Yeah. Alright. Anything else you wanna add? Anything to do, Vince? Speaker 3: No. That's great. Speaker 1: Sounds good. Thank you so much. Speaker 3: Thank you. What was your name? Yeah. Speaker 1: I'm Cody. Cody? Yes. Super. Nice to meet you. Speaker 4: So you hear it there. That's a interview wrapping up with a student who you can sympathize with as he's talking about the initial response he had when he heard the gunshots and heard what was happening that that fight or flight response. Right? He said his adrenaline was pumping. He was shaking. He started tearing up. A lot of people know what that feels like when you when you do get that that adrenaline pump going on.

The New York Times has uncovered evidence suggesting that the former president's son may have acted as a foreign agent during the Obama administration. While many dismissed the claims without investigation, the media was aggressive in pursuing allegations against Trump. Notably, Joe Biden broke his promise by pardoning his son for a range of crimes, covering a period from January 2014 to December 2024. Ultimately, this scandal reflects poorly on the Justice Department's handling of the situation.

"The @nytimes has found evidence suggesting that the former president's son was acting as a foreign agent as early as the Obama administration." @JonathanTurley details how the Biden corruption story just got airtime… from the last place you'd expect 🧵

@FoxNews - Fox News

"Many simply insisted that there was no evidence, while taking no steps to find out. While the media was unrelenting in investigating Trump allegations of Russian collusion and business improprieties, it took a largely passive stance in pursuing this story."

@FoxNews - Fox News

"Of course, Joe Biden ultimately broke his repeated promise not to pardon his son. What was most notable, however, was that not only did he pardon him for any crimes from human trafficking to tax evasion but also for a period running from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 1, 2024."

@FoxNews - Fox News

"In the end, the greatest indictment from this scandal was of the Justice Department itself." Read the full column from @JonathanTurley, only on http://FoxNews.com: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/jonathan-turley-biden-doj-behind-even-times-pursuing-alleged-hunter-corruption

BREAKING: Mexico has agreed to deploy 10,000 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in exchange for a one-month delay on President Donald Trump's threatened tariffs. https://t.co/mPmnaNXHMB

Video Transcript AI Summary
Fox News reports that President Trump and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum have agreed to pause tariffs on Mexico for one month. This decision comes as both sides work on an agreement. Mexico will deploy 10,000 National Guard members to combat drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl, while the U.S. will assist in addressing the flow of high-powered weapons into Mexico. This was a response to Mexico's concerns about U.S. gun sales to cartels. The two countries will collaborate on security and trade, with key U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, involved in the discussions alongside Mexican representatives.

Speaker 0: Fox News Alert and the breaking news of the day is on tariffs, and we just have word that the Mexican pres president spoke to Donald Trump, and they are going to pause the tariffs on Mexico for 1 month. And Jackie Heinrich is standing by at the White House with more on this development. Hi, Jackie. Speaker 1: Good morning, Dana. Yeah. That was, pretty short lived. The president spoke with Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum. The two sides agreeing to pump the brakes on the tariffs and then retaliatory tariffs that Mexico promised for the period of a month while they work out the terms of an agreement. The Mexican president just posted some of the details. Mexico is going to immediately send, 10,000 members of the National Guard to prevent drug trafficking from Mexico to the United States, particularly fentanyl. Also, she says the US is going to work with Mexico to prevent the trafficking of high powered weapons to Mexico. Something that Mexico hit back at when, president Trump was threatening these tariffs was, they were calling on the US to curb the flow of guns from the US down to the cartels. Scheinbaum says the 2 teams are going to begin working today on two fronts, security and trade, and president Trump posted on Truth Social that part of that team is going to include, secretary of state Marco Rubio, treasury secretary Scott Bessent, and secretary of commerce Howard Lutnick, as well as some representatives from Mexico.

Donald Trump has been projected as the 47th president of the United States, marking a historic comeback after narrowly losing Wisconsin four years ago. He becomes only the second president in U.S. history to serve nonconsecutive terms, following Grover Cleveland. JD Vance will take office as the 50th vice president. Voter frustration with the Biden administration played a significant role in Trump's victory, as he notably performed well in urban areas, especially among men. The government is implementing laws and rulings indicating they believe children belong to the government, not their parents. These policies are expected at the state, local, and federal levels under a Harris-Waltz administration. Many across the country now recognize the "idiocy" in California's stance. The district must do the right thing, even if the state does not. The government should stand up for parental rights, the safeguarding of children, and women's rights.

Speaker 0: Who knows their children best? That would be parents. But what our government is telling you by implementing, laws and rulings just like this is that they know your children better than you do. They don't believe that these are your kids. They're they believe that these are the government's kids. Whether it's the state level, the local level, even at the federal level, these are all policies, that you could expect to be implemented under the under a Harris Waltz administration. Speaker 1: And we talked about this on radio yesterday. May 2 2 or 3 years ago, maybe a lot of the country would say to themselves, wow. That I'm so glad California stood tall. I think most of the country has had it with this, and they see the idiocy in this. So this district has to do the right thing in a state that's gone wrong, and they get slapped down. Speaker 0: I wish Yeah. Again, our our government had half the gumption Speaker 1: Gotcha. Speaker 0: That they did in standing up for parental rights, the safeguarding of children, and women's rights.
