A dear friend from Cornell, whom I've known for over 30 years, has ended our friendship due to my perceived support for Trump. He feels his community is being targeted and sees no way forward for us. I genuinely cared for him, but he believes I'm morally damaged now.

One of the nicest people whom I've ever met (we originally became friends at @cornell more than 30 years ago) has just severed our friendship because of my apparent support for Trump. He did not see a path forward for us because his community (he's black) is apparently being targeted by @realDonaldTrump. I genuinely loved this guy. He no longer has an interest in my friendship. I question the fairness and morality of a system that allows the government to take more than 50% of my earnings to redistribute to non-citizens. I wonder if there are any limits to what a government can do with my money. It feels like the system is broken and operates like a crime syndicate, disguised as compassion and fairness. I work hard, yet a significant portion of my labor goes to support asylum seekers, some of whom pose a threat to those of us who have welcomed them into our homes.

@GadSaad - Gad Saad

Is this right? Is this fair to Canadian taxpayers? Is this moral? Is this just? Does a government have the right to coerce you to give up more than 50% of your earnings to others because they have decided that it is their right to redistribute your money to non-citizens? Are there any red lines that a government cannot cross when taking your money? The system is so broken; it is so parasitic; it is the biggest and most ferocious crime syndicate but it is couched in the language of "just compassion" and "empathetic fairness." I work very hard so that the government takes all of the fruits of my labor and redistributes $82,000 per year to thousands of "asylum seekers" from whom many of us fled and who now wish to kill us in our adopted homes. Seems like a good deal.

@Martyupnorth_2 - Martyupnorth®- Unacceptable Fact Checker

Asylum seekers coming to Canada get an average of $82,000 per year in benefits like housing and healthcare. Last year, we had more than 200,000 applicants, which cost taxpayers over $10 billion. The backlog to process applicants is now years instead of months. https://t.co/jgXwSMeJJ7

The IRB is experiencing an unprecedented volume of 200,000 new refugee referrals, causing wait times to rise from 14 to 44 months. This extended wait allows many applicants, including those with questionable asylum claims, to remain in the country, work, and access healthcare. The average cost to taxpayers for each refugee is $82,000 annually. Recent changes implemented by Mark Miller have contributed to this crisis. Inquiries directed at department representatives revealed a lack of basic information regarding student visa approvals and processing times, highlighting a significant breakdown in the immigration system. The current administration, led by Justin Trudeau and his ministers, is criticized for failing to manage the situation effectively.

Speaker 0: What was it last this high? Is this is this a first time you're seeing this in our in our country? Speaker 1: The highest volume that the IRB has had. Speaker 2: By having 200,000 new refugee referrals coming to the department, the wait time has gone up from 14 months to process a file to now 44 months. That's the highest it's ever been. And why does that matter? It matters because now it gives an applicant, which we're seeing a lot of fake asylum claims from, stay in country for additional 44 months with status. They're allowed to get a job. They're allowed to get health care. They're allowed to stay in our country. Out of the 200,000 new referrals, 70% are just within this year. So all the changes Mark Miller has made has actually led to this crisis and we spoke about this in our previous video as well. An average refugee cost taxpayers $82,000 per refugee per year. This is just in another example of chaos that this government has caused in the program. In the last video we made, I showed you how Mark Miller has no idea of what's happening in his own department. Speaker 1: That volume is disconcerting. It's really a system that has gotten out of control, and it's a conversation that we need to have. Speaker 2: I asked this his department reps the same questions. Basic questions that you can get Google answers for, but they had no idea. Watch this clip. Speaker 0: Do we know what the number of approvals were last year for student visas? Speaker 1: We can also table those figures with the with the the committee. Speaker 0: Do we know how many came through the student direct stream versus the regular channel? Speaker 1: Happy to provide that to get it to the committee. Do Speaker 0: you know what the average processing time was for the student direct stream? Speaker 1: I can provide that data separately to the committee. Speaker 0: Do you know how much time it took to process the security, component of those SDS programs for those applicants? Speaker 1: I don't have that information with me, but we can provide that information to the They Speaker 2: had no idea. The viral dance associated with Trump may seem trivial, but it signifies a cultural shift. It's becoming acceptable to express support for Trump and common sense. The left has dominated cultural institutions, and while it will take time to change that, this is a promising start.

@GadSaad - Gad Saad

The @realDonaldTrump viral dance might seem like a minor issue. It's NOT. It captures a shift in the zeitgeist. It is now cool to openly show support for Trump, for common sense, for reality. The degenerate left (including most academics) have had a complete stronghold on all institutions that shape culture. It will take a generation to eradicate the parasitic ideas and the suicidal empathy but this is a good first step.

I'm observing a troubling trend where the default reaction of rulers and elites is to suppress dissenting speech. This situation highlights the West's unique history and presents a critical choice: we can either take the easy route or the challenging one in defending free speech.

@GadSaad - Gad Saad

What we are seeing is precisely why the West was such an anomaly in the history of mankind. Specifically, the reflex to suppress speech with which the rulers/elite disagree is the default reflex, and we are seeing a return to it. The West is facing the classic Herculean fork in the road. Take the easy or hard road in defending free speech.

Society's misplaced empathy towards pedophiles, open border policies, lax crime policies, and acceptance of homeless embankments is seen as a sign of a death spiral. The priority for those exhibiting this empathy is to be empathetic above all else.

@GadSaad - Gad Saad

A society that exhibits such misplaced empathy and compassion toward pedophiles is in a death spiral. You find this exact orgiastic suicidal empathy when it comes to open border policies, lax crime policies, acceptance of homeless embankments in public spaces etc. The most important goal for such faux-empathy degenerates is to be EMPATHETIC. Nothing else matters.

@BillboardChris - Billboard Chris 🇨🇦🇺🇸

Look at these women feeling sorry for pedophiles. They say pedophilia is a sexuality. One even says babies are born with it. We’re told to “overcome our negative feelings about pedophiles.” This is the cult of queer theory. This same trance-like ‘compassion’ they feel for pedophiles is why so many leftist women cheer on men in womenface as their own rights are destroyed. They have completely lost their moral compass. These are the types who applaud the maiming and sterilization of children, believing that children are born in the wrong body. Fools, so blind to evil, they become useful idiots for it.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Most of us feel discomfort towards pedophiles, but we must separate feelings from actions. We should treat them with respect, understanding they did not choose their sexuality. Some individuals struggle with pedophilic feelings in silence due to fear of hatred. It is crucial to recognize that pedophilia is a sexual orientation that cannot be changed. Trying to eliminate these individuals from society is impractical and unjust, as they have not committed any wrongdoing.

Speaker 0: Most of us feel discomfort when we think about pedophiles. But just like pedophiles, we are not responsible for our feelings. We do not choose them. But we are responsible for our actions, and we must make a decision. It is in our responsibility to reflect and to overcome our negative feelings about pedophiles and to treat them with the same respect we treat other people with. We should accept that pedophiles are people who have not chosen their sexuality and who, unlike most of us, will never be able to live it out freely if they want to lead an upright life. We should accept that pedophilia is a sexual preference. Speaker 1: Statistics indicate that there will be 1 or 2 of you who are struggling with some form of pedophilic interest. These people can't talk about their feelings because they know that they will be hated for it. I truly do believe that every person is longing for love at some point in their life. And what if this love that you really wish for will forever be impossible? That must be a really lonely situation to be in. Yes. From an emotional point of view, I can kind of understand that you would want to eliminate these people from society. However, it doesn't make sense, and that's because we're talking about biology. We're talking about a sexual orientation, something that we simply cannot change. And on top of that, every day, new people are born with the same difficulty. So it's not practical to eliminate these people from society. They haven't done anything wrong.

In response to Mr. @derrickNAACP, I offer rebuttals to his points. President Gay lacks scholarly achievements and promotes the DIE cult. Serious plagiarism allegations have been made against her. She failed to condemn Jew-hatred and instead "contextualized" it. Criticism is based on her actions, not her skin color. I, a Lebanese-Jewish war refugee, outrank Mr. @derrickNAACP and President Gay in Victimology Poker.

@GadSaad - Gad Saad

Dear Mr. @derrickNAACP, Let me offer some rebuttals to the points that you raised in the spirit of the free exchange of ideas, which by the way @harvard scored last on out of 248 universities surveyed by @TheFIREorg. 1) President Gay is not a distinguished scholar using objective bibliometrics. She has an h-index that is well below what is typically required for someone to be promoted to full professor. 2) President Gay is not a distinguished administrator as she has spent her entire career promulgating the DIE cult (diversity, inclusion, and equity), which violates every fabric of the meritocratic ethos that one would expect from @harvard. 3) Some very serious repeat allegations about plagiarism have been levied against her, across many of her works including her dissertation. Unless you think that plagiarism is an inherent part of white supremacy then it is difficult to see your point. Plagiarism cannot be contextualized. 4) She was unwilling to deontologically condemn the open hatred of Jews on campus. Instead, she had to "contextualize" it. Do you think that the repudiation of Jew-hatred is a form of white supremacy? You do everyone a disservice by invoking the boogeyman of white supremacy here. President Gay is being criticized for her behaviors and positions. The only ones who have ever cared about her skin color are those who repeatedly promoted her to positions that she was unfit to hold. Be careful to accuse me of white supremacy as I'm a Lebanese-Jewish war refugee of color so I outrank you and President Gay in Victimology Poker. Let me tag @BillAckman; I'm sure he'll enjoy this exchange.

To win the civilizational battle, the West must defend its values, reject cultural relativism, prioritize individual dignity over collective identity politics, acknowledge cultural and religious disparities, and enforce rational immigration policies. Zero tolerance for seditious beliefs is crucial. However, the West's lack of resolve to implement these measures suggests a grim future. The West's self-inflicted downfall is a result of misguided "progressive" ideologies, which infect the human mind like dangerous parasites.

@GadSaad - Gad Saad

In order for the West to win this civilizational battle, it must: 1) Proudly and unequivocally defend Western values; 2) Reject cultural relativism and the unicornia vision of multiculturalism; 3) Recommit to individual dignity over the celebration of collective identity politics; 4) Recognize that all cultures are not equal; 5) Recognize that all religious beliefs are not equally consistent with Western values; 6) Recognize that all immigrants are not equally likely to assimiliate and adopt Western values; 7) Recognize that immigrants who espouse intolerable values that seek to destroy our civilization will be deported (en masse); 8) Implement a rational immigration policy that recognizes the importance of cultural homophily (choosing immigrants who hail from cultures that possess similar values to those of the host nations); 9) Exhibit zero tolerance for seditious belief systems; such systems can be criminalized if they constitute an existential threat to our freedoms and liberties. I could go on but the latter nine items (some of which are correlated) would be a good start. Here is the problem: I don't think that the West has the testicular fortitude to implement more than a small subset of the latter nine. Hence, to reiterate a prediction that I've been making for several decades, the West is in death spiral. It will be ugly, painful, and bloody. The greatest tragedy is that the West brought this on itself because of parasitic "progressive" follies. The most dangerous weapon in nature is a human mind infected by ideological parasites.
