Speaker 0: Thanks, Nicole. I appreciate all of you all being here today and helping us shine a spotlight on this pervasive ism that we're seeing across the country. And as I told Avi, you know, standing up for what is right is always the right thing to do. And that's what we're doing with our committee. And I'm Nicole, I as we it is the right thing to do.
And, Nicole, as we sometimes say to save time, when we're on the floor, I wanna associate myself with your remarks because you are absolutely correct. If this were any other group in the country, we would would be seeing a lot more outrage at it. But in the last few months, antisemitism has sharply risen across the U. S. It's been pervasive and highly concentrated in American schools.
Have been forced to contend with repeated harassment, disruption, verbal abuse, and in the most extreme cases, physical abuse as we've already heard. For too long, this abuse has gone unchecked and unpunished by district leaders and administrators. Today, we'll hold the leaders of some of the most embattled school districts to account for their glaring failure to discipline antisemitic perpetrators and to provide a safe learning learning environment for Jewish students and staff. And, you know, as we've done with the universities, you all are coming from think of themselves as the best in the country. And it is so horrible to see these things happening here.
I can only hope the hearing will serve as a wake up call for these administrators. It's unacceptable that any child should have to confront this kind of cruelty and danger in pursuit of his or her education. Serious and fundamental changes are long overdue. So we're glad to have you here. We're glad to put a spotlight on this issue.
And I promise you, we will continue until we see changes made. Thank you very much, Nicole.

Those actions benefit his family financially, and then there's an effort to sweep it all into the rug, and we know this has happened. The best example is to use the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Four key facts.
X. Hunter Biden gets put on the board of Burisma, fact number 1. Fact number 2, he's not qualified to be on the board. He said so himself in an ABC interview. He said he got the job because of his last name.
Aim. Fact number 3, the executives at Burisma asked Hunter Biden specifically, will you weigh in with folks in DC to help us deal with the pressure we are under. A few days later, Joe Biden gets on a plane, flies to Kyiv, and announces that you will not get the money that was already approved unless you fire error the prosecutor who was applying the pressure. That all happens. That all happens.
Those key facts happen, and those facts acts are confirmed by some of the evidence we've uncovered already already, this 10/23 form where the confidential human source told the FBI items recorded in this form. Those are the key facts, and now it's important, we got a lot of those key facts when we interviewed one of Hunter AINS business partners, mister Archer, it's important we talk to the others. This bill secures the border from president Biden's record crossings, record carelessness, and record chaos. Securing the border is one of the top priorities, and it is the priorities of the leaders who are behind me. I do wanna thank Mario Diaz Balart, Tom McClintock, Jim Jordan, Mark Green, Mike McCall, Elise Stefanik, and Tom Emmer.
I I wanna give a special thanks to Steve Scalise. Not only did he help pass this bill on the floor, but he has been working for 2 years to educate the members, leading Codells to the border and working with our task forces and our committees. And I want to thank every single member of this conference. This is not something easy to do. By passing HR 2, House Republicans have shown we're focused on addressing our nation's biggest challenges.
By contrast, the White House has 2 years to plan for the end of title 42. We all knew the deadline, but the White House produced no plan, missed the deadline, and bumbled into another crisis. Even president Biden, who has only been to the border one time in 50 years, says this. There is going to be chaos for a little while. Since the White House keeps missing deadlines, I want you to know how we did it.
We identified the problem. Rather than ignoring it, we listened to the American people. And then we took action.
