After analyzing the Ukraine-Russia situation, I believe Ukraine, with EU support, can reclaim its original borders. Russia's prolonged struggle in this war has exposed its weaknesses, making it appear ineffective. As the economic hardships in Russia become apparent, particularly with fuel shortages, Ukraine's resolve is strengthening. This is a critical moment for Ukraine to act decisively. I wish both countries well and will continue to support NATO in their efforts. Good luck to all involved.

@I_Katchanovski - Ivan Katchanovski

Unwinnable Trump's proxy war: "After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military and Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form. With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option. Why not? Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like “a paper tiger.” When the people living in Moscow, and all of the Great Cities, Towns, and Districts all throughout Russia, find out what is really going on with this War, the fact that it’s almost impossible for them to get Gasoline through the long lines that are being formed, and all of the other things that are taking place in their War Economy, where most of their money is being spent on fighting Ukraine, which has Great Spirit, and only getting better, Ukraine would be able to take back their Country in its original form and, who knows, maybe even go further than that! Putin and Russia are in BIG Economic trouble, and this is the time for Ukraine to act. In any event, I wish both Countries well. We will continue to supply weapons to NATO for NATO to do what they want with them. Good luck to all! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"

I was struck by revelations from various officials about the Ukraine-Russia peace talks in spring 2022. Victoria Nuland indicated that the U.S. and U.K. advised against a deal that many Ukrainian officials believed was favorable. Former leaders from Israel and Germany confirmed that Western powers blocked negotiations, urging Ukraine to continue fighting. Ukrainian representatives noted that they were ready for compromises, including neutrality, but were constrained by external pressures. The consequences of these decisions have led to significant loss and destruction in Ukraine.

@I_Katchanovski - Ivan Katchanovski

Wow! Nuland basically admits that Ukraine-Russia peace deal, which was close to being finalized in spring 2022, “fell apart” because US, UK & other Western governments “advised” Zelensky government that it was not “good deal” even though even members of Ukrainian delegation stated in recent interviews that this was very good deal, best deal that Ukraine could get & “very real compromise” & that Ukrainian delegation celebrated it with champagne. She basically confirms statements by ex-Israeli PM, head of Ukrainian delegation, Ukrainian officials close to Zelensky, ex-German chancellor & Turkish FM that US & UK blocked this peace deal, which was close to being finalized. Victoria Nuland does not mention at all Russian war crimes in Bucha, which were inflated & mispresented by politicians, media & self-proclaimed experts as reason for ending peace talks. The peace deal agreement included withdrawal of Russian forces from all territory of Ukraine, with exceptions of Donbas & Crimea, whose status was to be determined at meeting of Putin & Zelensky, in exchange for neutral status & demilitarization of Ukraine. https://youtu.be/HiS2dg_atfc?si=4L5Aqe0GEbKoQAFu&t=3192…

And it became clear to us, clear to the Brits, clear to others, that Putin's main condition was buried in an annex, to this document that they were working on. Mhmm. And it included limits on the precise kinds of weapons systems that Ukraine could have after the deal. Such that Ukraine would basically be neutered as a military force. And there were no similar constraints on Russia. Russia wasn't required to pull back. Russia wasn't wasn't required to have a buffer zone from the Ukrainian border. It wasn't required to have the same constraints on its military facing Ukraine. And so, people inside Ukraine and people outside Ukraine started asking questions about whether this was a good deal, and it was at that point that it that it fell apart.

Wow! For everything they discussed, they first had to ask the Americans. I had two talks with Umerov, then a one-on-one meeting with Putin, and then with Putin's envoy. Umerov opened the conversation with greetings from Zelensky. As a compromise for Ukraine's security guarantees, the Austrian model or the 5+1 model was proposed. Umerow thought that was a good thing. He also showed willingness on the other points. He also said that Ukraine does not want NATO membership. He also said that Ukraine wants to reintroduce Russian in the Donbass. But in the end, nothing happened. My impression was that nothing could happen, because everything else was decided in Washington. That was fatal. Because the result will now be that Russia will be tied more closely to China, which the West should not want. And the Europeans? They have failed. There would have been a window in March 2022. The Ukrainians were ready to talk about Crimea. This was even confirmed by the Bild newspaper at the time. (Gerhard Schroeder shows a page from the BILD newspaper with the title "Finally peace in sight?". It says: "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (44) himself had already hinted at concessions for negotiations: He no longer insists on his country's accession to NATO, he told the US broadcaster ABC. And he is also ready for a 'compromise' on Crimea and the breakaway provinces in the Donbass. 'In every negotiation, my goal is to end the war with Russia,' Zelensky told BILD. In 2022, I received a request from Ukraine asking if I could mediate between Russia and Ukraine. The question was whether I could convey a message to Putin. There would also be someone who would have a very close relationship with the Ukrainian president himself. This was Rustem Umerov, the current Minister of Defense of Ukraine. He is a member of the Crimean Tatar minority. Then the question was: How to end the war?" https://www.berliner-zeitung.de/politik-gesellschaft/gerhard-schroeder-im-exklusiv-interview-was-merkel-2015-gemacht-hat-war-politisch-falsch-li.2151196?utm_medium

Istanbul Communiqué: "Ukraine's 10-point plan. Proposal 1: Ukraine proclaims itself a neutral state, promising to remain nonaligned with any blocs and refrain from developing nuclear weapons — in exchange for international legal guarantees. Possible guarantor states include Russia, Great Britain, China, the United States, France, Turkey, Germany, Canada, Italy, Poland, and Israel, and other states would also be welcome to join the treaty. Proposal 2: These international security guarantees for Ukraine would not extend to Crimea, Sevastopol, or certain areas of the Donbas. The parties to the agreement would need to define the boundaries of these regions or agree that each party understands these boundaries differently. Proposal 3: Ukraine vows not to join any military coalitions or host any foreign military bases or troop contingents. Any international military exercises would be possible only with the consent of the guarantor-states. For their part, these guarantors confirm their intention to promote Ukraine’s membership in the European Union. Proposal 4: Ukraine and the guarantor-states agree that (in the event of aggression, any armed attack against Ukraine, or any military operation against Ukraine) each of the guarantor-states, after urgent and immediate mutual consultations (which must be held within three days) on the exercise of the right to individual or collective self-defense (as recognized by Article 51 of the UN Charter) will provide (in response to and on the basis of an official appeal by Ukraine) assistance to Ukraine, as a permanently neutral state under attack. This aid will be facilitated through the immediate implementation of such individual or joint actions as may be necessary, including the closure of Ukraine’s airspace, the provision of necessary weapons, the use of armed force with the goal of restoring and then maintaining Ukraine’s security as a permanently neutral state. Proposal 5: Any such armed attack (any military operation at all) and all measures taken as a result will be reported immediately to the UN Security Council. Such measures will cease when the UNSC takes the measures needed to restore and maintain international peace and security. Proposal 6: Implementing protections against possible provocations, the agreement will regulate the mechanism for fulfilling Ukraine’s security guarantees based on the results of consultations between Ukraine and the guarantor-states. Proposal 7: The treaty provisionally applies from the date it is signed by Ukraine and all or most guarantor-states. The treaty enters force after (1) Ukraine’s permanently neutral status is approved in a nationwide referendum, (2) the introduction of the appropriate amendments in Ukraine’s Constitution, and (3) ratification in the parliaments of Ukraine and the guarantor-states. Proposal 8: The parties’ desire to resolve issues related to Crimea and Sevastopol shall be committed to bilateral negotiations between Ukraine and Russia for a period of 15 years. Ukraine and Russia also pledge not to resolve these issues by military means and to continue diplomatic resolution efforts. Proposal 9: The parties shall continue consultations (with the involvement of other guarantor-states) to prepare and agree on the provisions of a Treaty on Security Guarantees for Ukraine, ceasefire modalities, the withdrawal of troops and other paramilitary formations, and the opening and ensuring of safe-functioning humanitarian corridors on an ongoing basis, as well as the exchange of dead bodies and the release of prisoners of war and interned civilians. Proposal 10: The parties consider it possible to hold a meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia for the purpose of signing a treaty and/or adopting political decisions regarding other remaining unresolved issues." https://faridaily.substack.com/p/ukraines-10-point-plan

The Maidan massacre trial verdict supports academic studies, stating that snipers shot from Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina. It disproves claims of Russian snipers and denies Yanukovych's involvement. The verdict acquits two Berkut policemen and blames far-right elements for killing protesters. Media reports are lacking. The trial reveals the fabricated forensic examination used to convict three Berkut officers. Synchronized videos and testimonies confirm that Maidan snipers in Maidan-controlled buildings were responsible for the killings. The implications for the Ukraine-Russia war and relations are discussed.

Wow! Unreported 1,000,000-word Maidan massacre trial verdict corroborates my academic studies by stating as its “categorical conclusion” that there were snipers shooting from Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina & that it cannot be ruled out that 8 protesters were killed & 20 wounded by “unknown persons,” who were not "law enforcement officers." This implies Maidan snipers since the verdict states that the trial disproved claims about presence of Russian snipers. https://reyestr.court.gov.ua/Review/114304164 The verdict also confirms my study findings that there is no evidence of order given by Yanukovych or his ministers to massacre Maidan protesters and that 4 police officers were killed & 39 wounded by Maidan-snipers. In addition to acquitting two Berkut policemen for killing and wounding protesters, it states that all accused Berkut members were baselessly blamed for killing 13 & wounding 29 Maidan protesters. As usual there are zero media reports. Prosecution, Maidan lawyers, media with some exceptions, self-proclaimed experts & propaganda peddlers denied shooting by snipers located in Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina & called it conspiracy theory. https://tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/23311886.2023.2269685

My open access peer-reviewed journal article: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/23311886.2023.2269685 "This study analyzes which party of the conflict was involved in the 2014 Maidan massacre in Ukraine. The massacre of Maidan protesters and the police on 20 February 2014 was a turning point in Ukrainian politics. This mass killing led to the overthrow of the Ukrainian government and spiraled into a civil war in Donbas, Russian military intervention in Crimea and Donbas, the Russian annexation of Crimea, and conflicts between Ukraine and Russia and between the West and Russia that Russia drastically escalated by launching its illegal invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. This article proposes and tests the moral hazard theory of the state repression backfire. Content analysis of synchronized videos, testimonies by several hundred witnesses, confessions by 14 self-admitted members of Maidan sniper groups, and bullet hole locations show that both the police and protesters were massacred by Maidan snipers located in Maidan-controlled buildings and areas. Content analysis of synchronized videos revealed that the specific time and direction of shooting by Berkut policemen, who were charged with the massacre, did not coincide with the killing of specific protesters. Testimonies by the absolute majority of wounded protesters and some 100 witnesses and forensic examinations by ballistic and medical experts for the Maidan massacre trial and investigation in Ukraine corroborate this. The article shows that the false-flag massacre was rationally organized and carried out with the involvement of oligarchic and far-right elements of the Maidan opposition to overthrow the incumbent government in Ukraine."

My open access peer-reviewed journal article, entitled "The Maidan Massacre Trial and Investigation Revelations: Implications for the Ukraine-Russia War and Relations": https://brill.com/view/journals/rupo/8/2/article-p181_5.xml "This study analyzes revelations from the trial and investigation in Ukraine concerning the mass killing that took place in Kyiv on 20 February 2014. This Maidan massacre of protesters and police led to the overthrow of the Yanukovych government and ultimately to the Russian annexation of Crimea, the civil war and Russian military interventions in Donbas, and the Ukraine-Russia and West-Russia conflicts which Russia escalated by illegally invading Ukraine in 2022. The absolute majority of wounded Maidan protesters, nearly 100 prosecution and defense witnesses, synchronized videos, and medical and ballistic examinations by government experts pointed unequivocally to the fact that the Maidan protesters were massacred by snipers located in Maidan-controlled buildings. "The far right, the Euromaidan, and the Maidan massacre in Ukraine" article, like my two other open access peer-reviewed journal articles, shows that far-right Svoboda party controlled Hotel Ukraina & that far-right-linked Maidan company of snipers shot from this hotel. https://brill.com/view/journals/jlso/23/1/article-p5_2.xml

The far right, the Euromaidan, and the Maidan massacre in Ukraine This study examines the role of the far right in the Euromaidan in Ukraine, primarily in the Maidan massacre and other key cases of violence. The involvement of farright organizations in these crucial events in the Ukrainian and world politics has been politicized and polarized in Ukraine, the West, and Russia. This study analyzes various data sources, such as online live streams and TV broadcasts, videos, broadcasts of the Maidan massacre trials, the database of court decisions in Ukraine, media reports, and field research on the Maidan. The findings reveal that radical nationalist and neo-Nazi organizations had significant but minority representation among the Maidan leadership and protesters. However, the analysis shows that the far-right organizations and football ultras played a key role in political violence such as attempting to seize the presidential administration and the parliament. It reveals involvement of the Right Sector in violent clashes with the Berkut special police force during the highly publicized dispersal of Maidan protesters on November 30, 2013. The Right Sector and Svoboda had crucial roles in the violent overthrow of the Yanukovych government, in particular, in the Maidan massacre of the protesters and the police. brill.com

Wow! Maidan massacre trial verdict confirms my study finding that this Maidan protester [Zherebnyi] was killed from Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina: "The gunshot wound was inflicted on PERSON_1852 from the direction of the Hotel "Ukraina", that is, from the territory that was not controlled by law enforcement agencies at that time. This shot was aimed at a crowd of people." Prosecution, Maidan lawyers, media with some exceptions, self-proclaimed experts & propaganda peddlers denied shooting by snipers in Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina & called it conspiracy theory.

Maidan massacre trial verdict now confirms: My video appendix visually shows that Zherebnyi was killed from Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina & that bullet holes in Paris Match photo of his wooden shield were from this hotel located in his back (3:29, 4:19). https://youtu.be/aHok-Df7kYs

@I_Katchanovski - Ivan Katchanovski

Maidan massacre trial verdict that 31 Maidan protesters were killed & 44 wounded with involvement of convicted in absentia 3 special Berkut company members is based on fabricated forensic ballistic examination. My synchronized video appendix shows that single match in this examination to Kalashnikov of convicted Berkut member (Abroskin) is falsified since this policeman was filmed not shooting during wounding of this protester (Kolesnikov), who testified that he was shot from Hotel Ukraina. Government ballistic expert determined that this protester was shot from top of this hotel based on bullet holes in chair that this protester was shielding with from Hotel Ukraina snipers & his steep wound. Synchronized video shows that at the very time of his wounding on bridge, protesters hiding beneath bridge pointed to snipers in Hotel Ukraina shooting protesters on this bridge. This forensic bullets examination, which the trial based its decision to convict 3 Berkut officers, reversed results of some 40 forensic ballistic examinations, including computer-based examination which showed that bullets of Berkut Kalashnikovs did not match bullets from bodies of killed Maidan protesters. Content analysis of synchronized videos shows that the specific time and direction of shooting by Berkut policemen did not coincide with the killing of specific protesters. Testimonies by the absolute majority of wounded protesters and some 100 witnesses, investigative experiments by forensic ballistic experts & results of medical forensic examinations show that these 31 protesters were killed by Maidan snipers in Maidan-controlled buildings, like the verdict found about killings of 8 other protesters.

Synchronized videos, testimonies by wounded Maidan protesters, on-site investigative experiments by government ballistic experts & results of forensic medical examinations in my video appendix show that forensic bullets examination, on which trial based its decision to convict 3 Berkut officers for killing & wounding other Maidan protesters, is fabricated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yGst19L5us Content analysis of synchronized videos shows that the specific time and direction of shooting by Berkut policemen did not coincide with the killing of specific protesters. Testimonies by the absolute majority of wounded protesters and some 100 witnesses, investigative experiments by forensic ballistic experts & results of medical forensic examinations show that these protesters were also killed by Maidan snipers in Maidan-controlled buildings & areas, like the trial found about killings & wounding of few dozen protesters. Killing of 2 protesters by ricochet or in cross-fire by Berkut cannot be ruled out completely.

@I_Katchanovski - Ivan Katchanovski

This online video appendix with English-language subtitles shows how Maidan protesters were shot from Maidan-controlled buildings and areas during the Maidan massacre in Kyiv in Ukraine on February 20, 2014. https://youtu.be/7yGst19L5us The manifest and latent content analysis in this video compilation along with on-site investigative experiments by government ballistic experts, results of forensic medical examinations conducted for the prosecution, and testimonies of wounded Maidan protesters and eyewitnesses visually demonstrates how seven Maidan protesters were shot by snipers from Maidan-controlled buildings or areas. It also shows that the Berkut policemen, who are charged with their shooting, could not physically shoot them. These Berkut policemen were filmed not shooting at that time and/or bullet holes locations and wound directions show that protesters were shot not from the front and ground directions of the Berkut barricade positions in front of them but from steep directions from sides or the back that match Maidan-controlled buildings or buildings in Maidan-controlled areas. The video appendix examines the shooting of Ihor Dmytriv, Andrii Dyhdalovych, Mykola Dziavulsky, Serhii Kemsky, Sviatoslav Kolesnikov, Roman Kotsiubynsky, and Yuri Parashchuk. These cases are selected because the government investigation in Ukraine, the SITU Research 3D model by a New York architectural company, and the major Western media, such as the BBC, the CNN, the Independent, and the New York Times, misrepresented the shooting of these protesters and presented them as definite evidence of the massacre of all protesters by the Berkut police or the government forces. The cases are also selected because they include videos of the shooting and positions of the policemen, testimonies of wounded protesters or eyewitnesses and because ballistic examinations of bullets determined that many other protesters were killed and wounded from the same firearms. The video appendix shows that the government investigation in Ukraine, the SITU Research 3D model, and the major media, such as the BBC, the CNN, the Independent, and the New York Times misrepresented the shooting of these protesters. The synchronized video compilation visually demonstrates that the government investigation, the SITU Research 3D model, and the major Western media in essence imply that these Maidan protesters were shot by invisible Berkut policemen flying in the air with invisible Kalashnikov assault rifles and/or by their bullets flying like guided missiles. The government investigation publicly denied presence of any snipers in the Hotel Ukraina, the Bank Arkada, and other Maidan-controlled buildings and areas. The studies by the author, results of the government investigation, and testimonies of snipers and commanders of all government units of snipers at the Maidan massacre trial showed that there were no government snipers in these and other buildings in the massacre area during the time when these six protesters were shot. All the videos, brief segments of which are used in this video compilation for academic research purposes, are cited at the end of the video appendix. https://youtu.be/7yGst19L5us

Former German leader confirms that Ukraine's peace negotiations in March 2022 were controlled by the US. Ukraine proposed the Austrian or 5+1 model for security guarantees and expressed willingness to reintroduce Russian in Donbass. However, talks failed due to decisions made in Washington. Europe missed an opportunity for peace, as Ukraine was ready to discuss Crimea. Russia's closer ties with China may result. Ukraine sought mediation from Gerhard Schroeder, who connected with Rustem Umerov, Ukraine's Defense Minister. The goal was to end the war. Source: Berliner Zeitung.

Wow! Ex leader of Germany confirms revelations by ex Israeli PM & Ukrainian media: "At the peace negotiations in Istanbul in March 2022 with Rustem Umerov, the Ukrainians did not agree on peace because they were not allowed to.

"Galician regiments, before majority of their members formally joined the SS ‘Galicia’ Division and minority joined the UPA in 1944, massacred close to 1,000 Poles in Huta Peniatska with assistance of an UPA unit, and they participated in other massacres of Polish civilians.33 The 31 SMdS battalion, or the Ukrainian Legion of Self-Defense, which was organized by local leaders of the Melnyk faction of the OUN (OUN-M) and SiPo and SD in Volhynia in the end of 1943 on the basis of OUN-M units, created to a large extent from the local police, had a similar record before it was mostly incorporated into the SS ‘Galicia’ Division in March 1945.34 Significant numbers of its commanders and members were incorporated into the UPA before they enlisted in the 31 SMdS battalion or joined the UPA while serving in this formation. The 31st battalion units and detachments, which comprised most or significant parts of its servicemen, are implicated by different sources in numerous mass killings, often conducted under a pretext of anti-partisan actions. They included mass executions and other similar massacres of Ukrainians and Jews in Pidhaitsi and Ustyluh and Poles in Edwardopole, Korchunky, Ameryka, Smoligow, Laskow, Chlaniow, and Wladyslawin, and participation in the suppression of the Warsaw uprising in 1944.35 For example, analysis of eyewitness testimonies, interviews with local residents, archival documents, and the fact of an urgent redeployment of this unit from the Kremenets area to the village of Pidhaitsi near Lutsk a day before a massacre there, indicates its likely involvement in killing of 20 Ukrainian residents of Pidhaitsi, half of whom were children, on December 3, 1943. The same sources indicate that its units executed close to 200 Lutsk prisoners and Jews in Pidhaitsi in January 1944." https://www.researchgate.net/publication/263468062_The_Politics_of_World_War_II_in_Contemporary_Ukraine

But Ivan Katchanovski, a Ukrainian-Canadian professor at the University of Ottawa who is at the centre of uncovering Hunka’s past, said it’s time for Canada to send a clear message denouncing the unit. “The Canadian government should directly condemn SS Galicia, not honour it,” said Katchanovski, a specialist in Ukrainian politics. “It is unbelievable this happened in the first place.” Details about Hunka’s service are on a website honouring the division, including photos of the North Bay man in his Nazi uniform. Katchanovski’s tweets about Hunka, with the photos, have been viewed on X, formerly known as Twitter, more than three million times. U.S., British, Polish and Australian media outlets have all reported on the controversy. Hunka has not commented on the controversy. Poland and Jewish groups have denounced the Waffen-SS Galicia Division for its role in killing civilians and involvement in massacres during the war. The division was also used by the Nazis to crush a national uprising in Slovakia, again prompting allegations of war crimes. Witold Dzielski, Poland’s Ambassador to Canada, has called for Canada to formally apologize for honouring Hunka. Ukrainian President Zelensky's visit to the Canadian Parliament stirred controversy. Applause erupted for a 98-year-old immigrant model, who was later revealed to be a veteran of the 14th Waffen SS Division. The political scientist Ivan Katchanovski's allegations have caused concern, as Russian media might exploit this incident. The Ukrainian government faces a problem if these claims are confirmed. The oversight of celebrating a Waffen SS veteran is an embarrassment for intelligence services in Canada and Ukraine. It also undermines the narrative that Ukraine fought against National Socialists.

@I_Katchanovski - Ivan Katchanovski

Major Austrian media story based on my tweets: "Zelenskyj's visit: Applause for Waffen-SS veteran (98) in Canada's Parliament. Applause during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the Canadian Parliament for an immigrant “model Ukrainian” - but according to political scientist Ivan Katchanovski, he was a veteran of the 14th Waffen SS Division. If the current allegations of the well-known political scientist and ex-Harvard professor Ivan Kalchanovski are confirmed, then the Ukrainian government has another problem - because the Russian media will probably also show these images from the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa: This is what is shown on a video Clip to see how Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj (45) and his First Lady Olena (45) next to Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (51) as well as all MPs applaud an older gentleman in the spectator gallery - the standing ovation counts as this Yaroslav Hunka (98) from Ukraine was presented as a model migrant. His life and his successful migration to Canada were intended to prove how closely Ottawa is connected to Kiev. However, just a short time later, a posting by the political scientist Ivan Katchanovski on who is said to have committed numerous war crimes against Polish citizens and Jews. In addition to operations at the front, young Ukrainians in this division, nicknamed “Galicia,” were often also involved in “anti-partisan combat” in the rear, which was usually nothing more than a cover for the war of extermination against the civilian population. In 1944/45 these volunteers took part in many war crimes in Poland and occupied Czechoslovakia. On May 8, 1945, the remnants of the division surrendered to British troops. Political scientist stunned: “Ukrainian hero?” When he saw these scenes from the acclaimed appearance of the Ukrainian senior Yaroslav Hunka in parliament, the political scientist Ivan Katchanovski was stunned: “This is really unbelievable. This veteran of the SS Galicia Division has now been called a 'Ukrainian Hero' and a 'Canadian Hero' by the Speaker of the Canadian Parliament - and he thanked him 'for his service'. Did anyone in parliament or Zelensky know that he served in the Waffen-SS division?” As evidence of his allegations, the political scientist and author also posted photos on the web that allegedly show the soldier Yaroslav Hunka: “These are photos of the veteran of the SS Galicia Division, who was represented by the Canadian Parliament, the Canadian Prime Minister and the President of Ukraine received a standing ovation. This SS Galicia division veteran was also called by Canadian parliament speaker "Ukrainian hero" & "Canadian hero" & thanked "for all his service." Did anyone in Canadian parliament & government & Zelensky, who all applauded this veteran, realize that he served in Waffen SS division?

A veteran of the SS Galicia Division received recognition from Canadian and Ukrainian leaders. He shared photos of himself during training in Germany. He joined the division voluntarily in 1943. However, his involvement in mass murders of Poles, Jews, and Ukrainians has been documented. Shockingly, he lied to enter the US after the war and has been living in Minnesota. The division's dark history raises questions about the recognition he received.

Ukraine's losses are staggering. Out of 100 mobilized individuals, only 1,020 remain. The rest are dead, wounded, or incapacitated. Poltava ranks last in recruitment rates, fulfilling only 13% of the General Staff plan. Western media remains silent, but Ukrainian sources report these military losses. Official admissions suggest 70,000-130,000 killed, 280,000-520,000 wounded, and 10,000-20,000 POWs throughout the war.
