“They destroyed Detroit to build up Beijing.” That line lit up the crowd last night — and for good reason. Trump’s first 100 days have been a full-speed reversal of the decline Washington elites made routine. No wonder they’re panicking. https://t.co/MZTRy4n8Sn

Donald Trump's first 100 days are being hailed as the "most successful" in history by many, marked by a "revolution of common sense." The administration claims to be ending the "inflation nightmare," removing "woke lunacy" from government, stopping child "indoctrination," and saving the "American dream." Trump asserts he is prioritizing America and Michigan over China, unlike previous politicians. He vowed to fire "corrupt, incompetent" bureaucrats. Executive orders on the border, shrinking the bureaucracy, ending DEI, fixing trade, opening energy exploration, and combating antisemitism are listed as accomplishments. Critics describe the first 100 days as defined by "chaos, cruelty, and corruption," and "broken promises." Trump supporters remain loyal because they believe he is loyal to them and is working for the right reasons, not for special interests. The aim is to make America stronger, its manufacturing more robust, its military more lethal, and its people healthier.

Speaker 0: Minutes of Trump, it's a hundred days of action. That's the focus of tonight's angle. Alright. As you saw tonight, Donald Trump's been playing offense to make America great again since he first came down that golden escalator. And tonight, a hundred days in, he's still fighting. Speaker 1: We're here tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the most successful first one hundred days of any administration in the history of our country, and that's according to many, many people. This is the best, they say, hundred day start of any president in history, and everyone is saying it. We're just we've just gotten started. You haven't even seen anything yet. It's all just kicking off. We're ending the inflation nightmare, the worst that we've had probably in the history of our country, getting woke lunacy and transgender insanity the hell out of our government. We're stopping the indoctrination of our children, slashing billions and billions of dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse. And above all, we're saving the American dream. We're making America great again, and it's happening fast too. What the world has witnessed in the past fourteen weeks is a revolution of common sense. Speaker 0: Oh, I love that. A fired up crowd in Michigan and what Trump billed as something that shouldn't be a revolution, but it is in today's Washington, a revolution of common sense. Speaker 1: You finally have a president who is defending our borders and our nation. After decades of politicians who destroyed Detroit to build up Beijing, you finally have a champion for workers in the White House. And instead of putting China First, I'm putting Michigan first, and I'm putting America First. Speaker 0: How great is that? I mean, how many presidents have ever said this except Trump? You know, they destroyed Detroit to build up Beijing. That's just a great one liner. So it's one liner after one liner, and then a few golden oldies. Speaker 1: After a lifetime of unelected bureaucrats stealing your paychecks, attacking your values, and trampling your freedoms, we are stopping their gravy train ending their power trip and telling thousands of corrupt, incompetent, and unnecessary deep state bureaucrats, you're fired. Get the hell out of here. You're fired. Get out Speaker 0: of gonna get tired of saying that even if the courts try to prevent him. But also what was amazing is earlier in the day, Gretchen Whitmer was called up by president Trump at a local military base. She couldn't avoid yes. She'd come up and say a few words. She didn't want it clearly, but she was stuck. And by the way, she was without her folder mask. Alright. And I have even more good news if that's possible. Liberals see what Trump's done. They're fuming. Speaker 2: It's been a hundred days of destruction. You think we can survive 550 more? This president has already, already, only a hundred days in, failed our country. Speaker 3: First one hundred days of the Trump administration have been characterized by chaos, cruelty, and corruption. Speaker 0: Is anyone shocked by this? Why should you be? It's rinse and repeat, sometimes almost word for word from 2017. Speaker 3: His first one hundred days have been really characterized by chaos, crisis, and confusion. Speaker 2: We give him failing grades. Promise after promise to working people has been broken. Speaker 0: A hundred days of broken promises to working people. A hundred days of handouts to the wealthiest people. These people, they're just simply out of gas. They're out of ideas. But look at Trump, his top advisers, his supporters. Over the past hundred days, they've worked hard and had fun. Isn't that the pursuit of happiness? Fun pushing his agenda. Speaker 4: Is there pain in the market at some point you're unwilling to tolerate? Speaker 1: I I think your question is so stupid. Speaker 4: If you are an individual, a foreign national, who illegally enters The United States Of America, you are, by definition, a criminal. Speaker 1: Got this big beautiful area where employees are supposed to work. Nobody's here. It's tough now. We don't have a white gray on. What am I gonna do? Leave it wet? Speaker 0: No. There's there's nothing that progressives hate more. And when I say hate, they loathe when conservatives are enjoying themselves. So let's tick off liberals by ticking off Trump's early accomplishments. Speaker 1: Democrats have vowed mass invasion and mass migration. We are delivering mass deportation, and it's happening very fast. Speaker 0: The executive orders on the border, Doge, the shrinking of the bureaucracy talked about tonight, ending DEI, beginning to fix our terrible trade posture, opening more areas for energy exploration, and then striking a blow against on campus antisemitism. It's a lot. He's toppled or exposed at least every left wing sacred cow and pushed for real changes and failed establishment policy. Now, of course, this means that the old DC dinosaurs and the rogue resistance, they're gonna try to stop him. But Trump's not phased, and he's certainly not flinching. Speaker 1: Cannot allow a handful of communist radical left judges to obstruct the enforcement of our laws and assume the duties that belong solely to the president of The United States. Judges are trying to take away the power given to the president to keep our country safe, and it's not a good thing. But I I hope for the sake of our country that the supreme court is gonna save this because we have to do something. Speaker 0: Well, we'll know soon. But on January 20, let's not forget, Donald Trump inherited a country that, because of Biden and his policies, was on an unsustainable path. Biden did an incalculable damage. We were overrun with illegals. Our military recruitment was way down, and we were overcommitted around the world. And, of course, we didn't have anywhere near the industrial base to support those commitments. So when Biden shuffled out of town, I dare say we were closer to becoming a superpower in name only. So Trump knew that if we continue down this path, we'd seal our fate as a paper tiger. So he moved fast tackling more of the big issues at any one time than any president in recent memory. Trump understands that first and foremost, America must be in a position to fulfill the most basic promises to our own people. Decent jobs, good schools, safe cities. Those all seemed increasingly out of reach over the last four years. And now the $36,000,000,000,000 debt bomb ballooning interest payments, Trump knows our financial survival's at risk. But Biden's strategy frankly, the entire Democrat party strategy was to borrow, spend, and print more money. It was classic Washington. So at this hundred day mark, the media, they're trying to paint Trump like the tariff man. It's like the Grinch who's stealing Christmas. How silly. The New York Times is a big piece today. There are no toys at Christmas time. Well, were there toys before February when China joined the WTO? I had toys under my tree. The real Grinches are the politicians who year after year kept America on a trajectory of denial and decline. They got us into stupid wars. They blew trillions of dollars. They allowed the cartels an open door to kill our kids with fentanyl, and they allowed our factories to close. They created massive trade deficits. And as Trump said tonight, that essentially funded the Chinese military expansion that now threatens the entire globe. Those are the Grinches. But Trump is the only president with the guts who's tried to solve the problems that four prior presidents created with congress. And never forget his most vocal critics. They just go along with whatever makes the Beltway establishment happy. And while that was good for the lobbyists, they got really rich, it's good for the lawyers, Ditto. It was horrid for the working people of states like Michigan across the old rut Rust Belt. The more blowback Trump gets in this period of time, the more I think he's on the right path. A lot of you wonder, you know, why do Trump supporters, a lot of liberals, especially, say, why are they so loyal to him? Why do they remain so committed to him? Simple answer. You saw it tonight. Because they know that he's loyal to them. So despite all the pressure to sell them out, they know he's doing this, everything he's doing for the right reasons. And it's not to be popular with the Council on Foreign Relations or the China lobby or the hedge funders or the teachers' unions. In the end, they'll all still be rich. They'll be fine. But America will be stronger, our manufacturing more robust, our military more lethal, and our people healthier. Now that's a superpower with superpowers. So I can't wait for the next hundred days. That's the angle.

Ingraham Angle EXCLUSIVE: Bombshell criminal referral on NY AG & Trump prosecutor Letitia James from Federal Housing Authority. Document contains serious claims of mortgage fraud and includes several pages of documentary evidence. https://t.co/w8bFH6G3u6

Video Transcript AI Summary
The Trump administration has accused New York Attorney General Leticia James of mortgage fraud. The Federal Housing Finance Agency sent a criminal referral to the DOJ, alleging James falsified records to obtain favorable loan terms. Specifically, James allegedly claimed a Virginia property as her primary residence while also claiming her primary residence was in New York as an elected official. Additionally, she allegedly misclassified a New York property as a four-unit structure instead of five to secure a more favorable loan. It's also claimed that she stated her father was her husband on some forms. Legal experts note the irony, as James prosecuted Trump for similar offenses, including making false statements to financial institutions. The DOJ has previously prosecuted individuals for falsely claiming a property as their primary residence to obtain loans. One legal expert stated that the documents are quite damning and it's hard to see how the residences listed were her principal residences.

Speaker 0: It's important that attorneys general representing our respective states stand up and enforce the rule of law. The president of These United States is not above the law. No matter how rich, powerful, or politically connected you are, everyone must play by the same rules. Please sue him for us. Oh, we're gonna definitely sue. We're gonna be a real pain in the Speaker 1: And now the Trump justice department may be a pain in her you know what. The angle has obtained shocking allegations leveled by the Trump administration against New York attorney general Leticia James. The Federal Housing Finance Agency has sent a criminal referral to the DOJ accusing James of mortgage fraud. In a letter to attorney general Pam Bondi, director Bill Pulte says James appears to have falsified records in order to meet certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms. He cited a property in Virginia that she's allegedly claimed as her principal residence and a property in New York that she claimed as a four unit structure instead of the required, instead of a five, which Pulte says means she was able to get a different type and more favorable loan. Joining me now is Jonathan Turley, Fox News contributor and law professor at GW University. Jonathan, mortgage fraud is rampant in The United States. There's all sorts of fraud that's rampant. There's disability fraud that they've vowed to crack down on in the in the Trump administration. But this is another thing that they have vowed to crack down on because it costs real money. Your reaction to these allegations. Speaker 2: Well, obviously, the irony is perfectly crushing. This is a person who prosecuted Trump for everything short of ripping a a label off a mattress. And among the charges that were brought in New York in not just a civil, but the criminal case was making false or misleading statements to financial institutions. And one of these sections, section ten fourteen of of the federal code is prosecuted. It took me about sixty seconds of a search to find cases that the Department of Justice brought against people who falsely claimed that property was their principal residence in order to get loans. So this is well tread areas for the the justice department. As for James, if if we apply the Leticia James standard that she created, there'd be little question here. This seems pretty straightforward. What what they what the administration is saying is this was not her principal residence. In fact, as a New York elected official, she had to say that her principal residence was in New York. This was an out of state residence. But also, they claimed that in some of these forms, she actually states that her father is her husband in order to file as a married couple. So there's a lot of those questions. And as you know, the Supreme Court just stated earlier in March in a case called Thompson that they wanna see knowing false statements under sections like ten fourteen, not just misleading statements. These aren't misleading statements. Either it's your principal residence or it's not. No. Speaker 1: It's Speaker 2: not. Either you're married to your father or he's your father. So I they we can get a this can satisfy the Thompson standard. Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, Jonathan, we reached out to the DOJ, and they have no comment on this referral. We also reached out to attorney general James who did not respond to us either. So, again, everyone wants the best interest rate you can get. I understand that. But, you know, she's a lawyer. She knows that when you sign a mortgage application, that mortgage application if you're borrowing money if you're not borrowing money, nobody cares whether it's your principal residence except, you know, where you file your taxes. But she decided to state that that was her principal residence, knowing it was not her prince principal residence. I didn't even know she had property. I mean, I guess she had property in Virginia, and she has rental or investment property in New York. That's fine. But in the New York matter, to get the favorable rate, the the building could only have four units. But for it looks like its entirety the entirety of this building, it had five units, meaning it was in violation of the actual loan agreement. And, again, this is not a novel application of the law, Jonathan, as you stated during the persecution of Donald Trump. She was using all these novel applications of law to go after him. This isn't novel. This is a black and white issue. You either did or you didn't. Speaker 2: Right. And this has been prosecuted in the past. Now we have not heard her side of this, but these documents themselves, are quite damning. It's hard to see how, the residences listed were her principal residents. The business about her father is, just bizarre. Now I'll note that one of the things that Leticia James stressed in her case against Trump is that Trump had to review documents that were filed in his name. And so she dismissed the argument that this was something that Trump's people put together. She said he's ultimately responsible. So they alleged that she gave a power of attorney in a in a couple of these instances. But according to her own standard, that's not enough. Speaker 1: Well, professor, the referral sites the case against the former Baltimore City Prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby, because she was sentenced to a year in home confinement for lying about her finances to make early withdrawals from retirement funds during COVID and then fraudulently claimed that her own 5,000 k was a gift from her then husband as she closed on a Florida condo. So the the the idea that the again, this is just no one ever no one ever goes after politicians for these types of which may seem like small amounts, and they add up. Speaker 2: They do. And this is this is really for James. The very case that she most famously brought, she insisted that these technicalities matter and that the powerful should not be given a free pass. Well, that bill has come due in this case. She's gonna have to deal with this filing. I'm honestly just not sure how you defend against this unless you say that these are fraudulent documents. Speaker 1: Jonathan, I I have to raise this because the Democrats, you know, when this really starts to blow up, which it should after the show, they're gonna say, look. See, this is a revenge presidency. They're weaponizing the DOJ against Democrats, so it's a tit for tat. Do you see that as a potential vulnerability here? Speaker 2: Well, we are certainly living in that age, but the the fact is James herself rejected that argument made when when she brought, in my view, a ludicrous case in New York. That case was something that ultimately resulted in a grotesque ruling. By the way, the timing here is not good. We're waiting for the appellate decision to come down. It's been a very long time. Each day, we're looking for the appellate court to issue the review. Many of us expect that it will not go well for James. But having this pop up in the news just couldn't be great for her team. I'm sure they are really in a very tight fetal position right now. Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, Pulte was on this show saying that he was gonna get to the bottom of all fraud, waste, and abuse in his department, and there's a lot of it over there. And maybe this is just the tip of the iceberg for, mortgage fraud across The United States involving, in this case, allegedly, Leticia James. Jonathan, thank you very much.

Sam Korkos, a special advisor within the US Treasury, and Treasury Secretary Scott Vessant, discuss modernizing the IRS. Korkos is reviewing the IRS's modernization program, which is 30 years behind schedule and $15 billion over budget. The goal is to update the IRS's legacy infrastructure, which still uses old mainframes. Korkos says the IRS has talented software developers, but they haven't been empowered to make decisions. Vessant says entrenched interests and consultants have constricted themselves around the IRS, costing taxpayers unbelievable amounts of money. Korkos notes the IRS processes the same amount of data as a mid-sized bank, but with far more IT staff and a much larger budget, 80% of which goes to contractors and licenses. Vessant says his priorities for the IRS are collections, privacy, and customer service, none of which are being well served. Korkos has stopped work and cut about $1.5 billion from the modernization budget. He says the career staff has been cooperative. Vessant wants the American people to understand what is being done to make government work better, cheaper, faster, and with more privacy.

Speaker 0: Doge was in the building. We started we took down our pride flags. We took down I took out any books I felt would be incriminating. No one was talking. We heard they started taking transcripts automatically of all of our Google Meets. We they unplugged the news in the little kitchen galleys. It didn't feel good. Speaker 1: Alright. Well, you've heard the sob stories, and they are quite entertaining at times. But the media, they continue to spread this story that Doge is some dark mysterious organization, you know, embedding itself in departments like some jackbooted thugs, just intimidating staff, threatening those who don't comply. Okay. We're asking, what is the truth? Well, tonight, we sit down exclusively with one of the men responsible for turning Elon Musk's Doge plans into reality. Joining me now is Sam Korkos, who's a special adviser within the US treasury department. He's also CEO and cofounder of Levels, which is a really cool health and wellness software company. Also joining me, he's getting second billing tonight, treasury secretary Scott Vessant. We'll get back to you, mister secretary, in a moment. But, Sam, let's start with you. Like, no one knows much about all of you guys who are working together, and I know you you you work at treasury now. Tell us what brought you here into Washington and what your top priority is. Speaker 2: Yeah. I've been brought in to look at the IRS's modernization program in particular as well as the operations and maintenance budget. I, I really care a lot about this country, and this is a huge program that's currently thirty years behind schedule, and it's already $15,000,000,000 over budget. Speaker 1: Wait. Wait. Wait a second. Wait a second. Explain to our viewers what the program is in layman's terms. Speaker 2: Yeah. So the goal is to take the IRS has some pretty legacy infrastructure. It's actually very similar to what banks have been using. It's old mainframes running COBOL and assembly. And the challenge has been how do we migrate that to a modern system. Virtually every bank has already done this, but we're still using a lot of those same systems. And typically, industry, this takes a few years, maybe a few hundred million dollars, and we're we're now thirty five years into this program. We've actually been if you ask them now, it's five years away, and it's been five years away since 1990. Supposed to be delivered in 1996, and it's still five years away. Speaker 1: In your area of expertise that informs your ability to do this review is what? Speaker 2: I'm a software developer by background, and I'm a CEO of a software technology company. Speaker 1: So when you came into department, the first thing you do is just get into the guts of the system and see how it operates? Speaker 2: Yeah. Really talk to the software developers. Talk to the people on the ground and what they're seeing. I think one encouraging thing is we actually have quite a lot of software talent on the ground, the people writing code. We actually have quite a lot of good people. It is almost always the case when I ask them what the correct answer is, how do we solve these problems? They're almost always right, which is good. They just haven't been in a position to be empowered to make those decisions. So I'm actually pretty optimistic that we can solve this. Speaker 1: Secretary Besson, why has this taken so long? I mean, Sam seems, you know, obviously very, very successful, extremely intelligent. But I assume we have other Sams in The United States. We could have had a Sam fifteen years ago come in and fix this. What is going on? Speaker 3: Well, Laura, you've you've been in DC a long time. I've been here eight weeks, but one of the things one of the biggest surprises for me is just seeing how these entrenched interest they just keep constricting themselves around the power, around the money, around the systems, and nobody cares. I mean, the you know, I I said to Sam today, I said, the the IRS system was the supposed to be delivered in 1996. And he said, no. But it was started in 1990. So that's how far behind they are, and nobody cares. And the the other thing we're seeing too is, as Sam said, some of the employees, many of the employees are fantastic. It's this consultant group who has just they're like a bow constrictor. They're like a python. They've got themselves Speaker 1: No pun intended. Speaker 3: Yeah. Python language. Speaker 1: All your coders have it. Speaker 3: It was intended. So Yeah. Okay. Smarty pants. Thanks. But they've constricted themselves around our government, and, you know, the the the costs are unbelievable that are being passed on to the American taxpayer. Speaker 1: Okay. So, Sam, again, you come in from this this tech company. You've been in directing engineering teams. You've been doing your own coding and software engineering for so many years. But you come in here, and you see this is one of the most important departments in in the world, not just in our government, in the world. And you see how this has been organized and and run for so many years, what as a as a human being, forget as a what is your reaction to that? Speaker 2: It's a Speaker 1: Were you stunned as I am just hearing about this? Speaker 2: Yeah. It's it's hard to really grasp the scale of this because we process at the IRS about the same amount of data as a mid sized bank. And a typical mid sized bank will have somewhere between one and two hundred people in IT, and they'll have an operations and maintenance budget in, like, the $20,000,000 a year range. We have 8,000 people in IT, and our operations and maintenance budget is 3 and a half billion dollars a year. I don't really know why yet, but I will tell you that 80% of that budget goes to contractors and licenses. Speaker 1: So the contractors and putting them out putting these projects out to bid, mister secretary, how big a problem has that been? Speaker 3: Well, clearly, it's a problem, and that's why when you you and I were talking the other night, that's why I wanted to bring Sam in because I just gotten a briefing from him, and my jaw hit the ground when he was talking about the cost, the the timeline. As you know, we've talked about it before. I have three priorities with the IRS, collections, privacy, priorities with the IRS, collections, privacy, customer service, and none of those are being well served. Look look at the scale of this. Speaker 1: And, Sam, for Americans watching this tonight who've heard all these stories about the people brought in to dismantle the government and rip it apart and destroy people's lives, you didn't have to do this. You have a lot priorities in the business world. But, again, like Musk and like people even younger than you who came in, they got the world on a string. So what do you say to those people who are hearing all these frightening stories about what you and the Doge Bros, as they're called, are doing? Speaker 2: Yeah. This is definitely not on my bingo card for this year. I was very much planning to continue to focus on my company. We have 15 old boy. It's been really fun, but we're I I got a lot of friends of mine in administration telling me how serious the situation is, and so I'm taking some time to really focus on this. I think it is it is a huge part of our government is collecting taxes. We we cannot perform the basic functions of tax collection without paying a toll to all these contractors. We really have to figure out how to get out of this hole. We're in a really deep hole right now. Speaker 1: IRS employees according to CNN claim that you you were basically ignorant about how the agency works. Like I said, you were supposed to know everything before you got there, but that's what they're saying. Your response to that. Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of stuff that I don't know that I'm learning now. I think I know a lot about software systems. That's why I was brought in. So that's the main focus is how do we how do we turn this around? We have we have a 3 and a half billion dollar operations and maintenance budget. We have a $3,700,000,000 modernization effort within IT. That's a lot of budget, and we are way beyond any reasonable cost for what you would expect at a private company for this. Speaker 1: What has been the biggest surprise? You, again, secretary Bessence, you know, been in the business world as well, but he heard it from me. But when you first saw this, what was the biggest surprise that you found at that Department of Treasury? Speaker 2: I would say it's the disconnect between leadership and the people actually doing the work is a big one. I would say that there are it doesn't take a lot, just somebody who cares to solve these problems. You find contracts that are $10.20, $3,050,000,000 dollars, and you just ask, like, why are we doing this? And everyone was just like, I don't know. And then you cancel it, and then nothing happens. It's just inertia has just taken over. Speaker 1: What? What? I mean Okay. Okay. I'm so frustrated to hearing this, but I'm so glad you're getting your hands dirty by getting it getting in there. Mister secretary, Sam comes from the outside world. He he's very keen. I'm reading his bio and what he's done on time management. That's how he's been so successful, managing fifteen minute increments of his time, analyzing it. So he's data driven. This should be a data driven agency. You're a money guy. You've made billions of dollars in the business world because you're data driven. So why is this controversial to make the IRS data driven? Speaker 3: Well, because it's like I I called Elon. I said, Elon, you're you're under fire because you've moved people's cheese. And he said, well, it's the American people's cheese, and Yeah. The it doesn't belong to these people. And, again, that's why I wanted the American people to meet Sam. We're gonna bring some more Doge people forward to actually hear their stories, see what's being done because the consult the the entrenched interests, the consultants, the Democrats, mainstream media, they just wanna blow this project out of the water. And it's important because I keep saying this is the office of government efficiency, not elimination, not extinction. Sam and his crew are making it more efficient to work for the American people. So what's wrong with it working better, cheaper, faster, and with more privacy? Speaker 1: The president essentially said he wants efficiency across the federal government. He brought in Elon to do that. You're a big part of this. Is it possible, given what you've seen, as far as the resistance both in the courts and in, in among mostly Democrats? Speaker 2: I honestly, I haven't really had much of an issue. The career staff has been super cooperative. I think we've so far stopped work and cut about 1 and a half billion from the modernization budget, mostly projects that were going to continue to put us down this death spiral of complexity in our code base. I think most people that I've interacted with are really excited that somebody actually cares now. They've been in a situation where their hands are tied and they can't solve the things that they know need to be solved. My experience has honestly been very positive working with them. Speaker 1: I mean, this is back to the messaging point. And and again, going back to his his history in business, communication is key from staff to to leadership, leadership to staff. And also here, the consumers, the American people, the taxpayer, those are the ultimate consumers here. It's very important that you had this idea to bring Sam in, but people need to understand what this is. Speaker 3: Yeah. But look, it it it's that it's all hands on deck because we got this massive, the government debt. We're gonna pay that down, but we're also gonna make government work better. You know, again, if you were to ask Sam about the customer support, it's unbelievable. The the system, the customer support, they have exact the same number of people working on Christmas Eve as they do on April 14 at the IRS. Why? Speaker 1: So efficiency across the board must be implemented. It's unfair to the taxpayer who foots the bill for all of us. Unfair. Well, I I don't A rip off. Speaker 3: Yeah. And look. I we want people to like the government. We want the government Speaker 1: to gonna like the IRS. Sorry. Well, Speaker 3: we we want people to feel satisfied Yeah. That they are getting the service they deserve, that they're paying their fair share and not more, not less, and that it's done quickly, smartly, and privately. Speaker 1: Sam, how long are you Speaker 2: gonna stay in Washington? Committed to six months. Speaker 1: Okay. Alright. Sam and mister secretary, thank you both for joining us. Really appreciate it. Speaker 3: Good to see you. Speaker 1: Sam, keep working.

The Party's Over. LAURA: "Democrats lost because of Biden and Harris’s open borders plot to change America… They didn’t care about the collateral damage." https://t.co/sfdmxAftOv

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker claims Democrats support sanctuary cities and oppose deporting violent illegal alien felons as part of an open borders plot. They cite the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, stating it is being used to deport illegals, including MS-13 gang leaders. According to the speaker, Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas, and Kamala Harris damaged the country by abandoning Trump's border policies, allowing 12,000,000 illegals into the country, plus hundreds of thousands of "gotaways" and people on the terror watch list. The Trendy Aragua gang (TDA) is blamed for a spike in crime, with a hotel being shut down due to gang activity. The DEA has taken people into custody connected to TDA. The speaker argues that Trump's DHS was right to remove these violent criminals. They agree with a statement that Biden has allowed an "invasion" of criminals, drug dealers, and people from mental institutions. Liberals are accused of giving these "deranged thugs" more rights than they deserve. The speaker mocks the media for presenting a sob story about deported individuals sleeping on concrete slabs. They suggest the Republican platform should be "Democrats for migrant felons, Republicans for American safety."

Speaker 0: The party's over. That's the focus of tonight's angle. They kind of do deserve the name Democrats. After they just lost the presidential election in both houses of congress, in part because of Biden and Harris's open borders plot to change America. Prominent Democrats, what do they do? They decide that it's smart politics, not to just keep supporting sanctuary policies and sanctuary cities, but also to oppose the deportation of violent illegal alien felons, including rapists, kidnappers, child abusers, gang members. And they were all here, and they were all roaming free. Speaker 1: What's your issue with The US using any tool at its disposal to remove undocumented violent people from this country? Speaker 2: We already have tools that are available to remove undocumented violent people from our country. Giving them this wide latitude to just kinda go across and just claim that anybody is anything is wrong. Speaker 0: Wow. What a legal mind. First, Biden didn't remove the 261 illegal aliens who were deported to El Salvador over the weekend. Second, the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 is one of the tools in the president's toolbox, and he's using it. A 37 illegals under that law. Third, of course, a hundred and one of the Venezuelans removed were done via this usual title eight, which is a regular immigration proceedings. 21 were MS thirteen gang leaders. Two were special cases for El Salvador, really bad. So you have to ask yourself, what crimes did this fun bunch commit? Yeah. Kidnapping, sexual abuse of a child, aggravated assault, robbery, aggravated assault of a police officer, to name a few. Speaker 3: The president, through proclamation, took his authority under Alien Enemies Act and imposed it, which he has the right to do. TDA has been designated terrorist organizations. TDA is an enemy in this country. We know TDA, based on a lot of evidence, are are part of the mature mature regime through the military and law enforcement. They've infiltrated them. The president did the right thing. I stand by him. Speaker 0: By abandoning Trump's successful first term border policies, Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas, and Kamala Harris did incalculable damage to our country. I think it was treasonous. I said so, whatever. It was four years ago now. And it was damage we may never fully recover from. 12,000,000 illegals, at least, probably more. And that's just in four years, plus hundreds of thousands who were just gotaways, hundreds on the terror watch list. And why? Why was that done? Because the fanatics running his auto pen fundamentally hate America. So they were doing everything in their power to change The United States, culturally, demographically, yeah, and of course, electorally. As for the collateral damage that went along with that, they didn't care. Speaker 4: The Gateway Hotel forced to shut down. Luis Garciela says the crime there is far worse than anyone can imagine. Speaker 1: I got my door kicked in and got robbed a couple times. Well, they said call the police, but, you know, pretty much, they're not gonna do anything. Speaker 4: Police blame the spike in crime on Trendy Aragua gang members living at the hotel. Speaker 5: This nightclub, only sets up on certain, weekends, and it's invitation only to members of TDA and their associates. Speaker 4: The DEA says about 50 people who were in the country illegally were taken into custody, many connected to TDA. Speaker 0: How dare Donald Trump and his DHS act to rid America of these people? Violent criminals, violent gang members, despicable individuals who came here for one reason, to terrorize Americans, steal, rape, rob, and, yeah, kill. And by the way, they didn't do that just to Americans, also to legal immigrants. Speaker 6: Criticism that the Alien Enemies Act has only been invoked three other times. They were all during times of war. Do you feel that you're using it appropriately right now? Speaker 7: Well, this is a time of war because Biden allowed millions of people, many of them criminals, many of them, at the highest level. It's an invasion, And these are criminals, many, many criminals, murderers, drug dealers at the highest level, drug lords, people from mental institutions. That's an invasion. They invaded our country. Speaker 0: Totally agree. Now think about what a scandal this is, to have a government that actually stands up for us, for our safety, for our security, and one that actually defends our sovereignty. During the dark years of the Biden regime, America gave these deranged thugs more, not fewer, rights than they were entitled to. But now, the Trump team has a message to all those here who should not be. You better self deport now and not return, or you could be on the next flight to El Salvador. Yeah. Leave. But liberals are so desperate to keep these criminals here that they try to argue that federal law has an expiration date. Speaker 8: This is over 200 years old. It has been rarely invoked. There are all sorts of problems with invoking the statute. We're not at war with Venezuela. We're not at war with the gang that is the subject of the executive order. There is no invasion that is going on. This statute may, in fact, be very unconstitutional because it doesn't give due process to those people. Speaker 0: More due process for violent illegal felons. That that's gotta be a bumper sticker. Now, of course, Wiseman's the guy, the same guy who pushed the Russian collusion hoax for years. Speaker 9: What do you say to those who claim you're using a 200 year old law to circumvent due process? Speaker 3: A no law? Not as old as constitution. We still pay attention to that, don't we? Speaker 0: Mic drop moment. Have Democrats made a pact amongst themselves? I'm beginning to think they have. The pact that we don't know about? Maybe it's a secret agreement amongst themselves to lose elections for the foreseeable future. And has the regime media have they decided to help them lose as well? And that brings us to tonight's immigration sob story. Speaker 10: Those planes landed, and they got off, and they were handed over to the El Salvadorian government, something the president of El Salvador has tweeted about and said, oopsies, too late. This is a real mocking of this order that can't be undone. They have multiple men sleeping on concrete slabs without so much as a mattress or a sheet. Speaker 0: Wonder what their victims are doing tonight. You ever think about them? Again, the Republican campaign commercials, at this point, they're just writing themselves. Democrats for migrant felons. Republicans for American safety. I'll take that. And that's the angle.

Speaker 0: Hey, everybody. I'm Laura Ingram. This is the Ingram angle from Washington Tonight. Thanks for joining us. They're coming for you. That's the focus of tonight's angle. Now once the decision was made to go after Donald Trump using the full force of the federal government, special prosecutor Jack Smith felt invincible. Well, the AG had his full confidence in his abilities, and the press showered him with endless adulation. Speaker 1: Right now, we have a very aggressive, prosecutor in Jack Smith. The DOJ would say, We pursue justice without fear or favor. He is absolutely doing that. Speaker 2: His aggressive approach to his personal health and exercise Correlates to how he approaches his prosecution and his strategy. Jack Smith will live forever in Donald Trump's head as he sits in a prison cell for his last days. Speaker 0: And they loved him more When they dropped the indictment? Speaker 3: Jack Smith's indictment here is straightforward and narrow, but, boy, it packs a punch. It's It's clean, it's calculated, and I feel like it's almost certainly going to result in a conviction. Speaker 4: The level of specificity and detail was profound. It was actually in terms of how surgically Jack Smith put together this indictment. Speaker 0: For years, Trump made them feel like Wile E. Coyote, always Just missing his chance to get his hands on the roadrunner. But it wasn't just the press that was willing to ignore the corrosive precedent set by these political prosecutions. Now let's face it, most of official Washington was willing to ignore it as well. Now they all had their reasons for wanting Trump permanently sidelined from politics. For liberals, he was just an existential threat. He was a non interventionist, pro working class Republican Who had the ability to reorder the political universe with his growing multiethnic coalition. They didn't like that. And the establishment GOP, they never liked him. And why would they? Because the establishment GOP is part of the swamp that Trump was trying to drain. Now the Uniti Party's anti Trump fever, it's never really broken, no matter how much these prosecutors and their judges reveal their bias. If a civil rights activist had been forced to turn, you know, over all of its Twitter, now x data, imagine if that had happened. The media, In that case, would have gone nuts. Speaker 5: They were looking for all tweets created, drafted, favorited, liked, or retweeted by Donald Trump. It's just a fascinating, sort of example of how Jack Smith is vacuuming up nearly everything. Speaker 2: Jack Smith Wanting to peer deep inside Trump's Twitter account, which the ex president wielded like a weapon. Twitter did say, yes. There are direct messages. We'll have to wait until trial or as this investigation progresses to see if there was anything really juicy. Speaker 0: Now this is just disgusting. It's an investigation Now clearly just in search of a crime. And this is their campaign strategy, by the way, using a taxpayer funded prosecutor To get at the private communications of Biden's chief rival, hoping that there's something juicy to help Biden and embarrass Trump before the election. Speaker 2: Just sit down, please. Well, when you when you report fake news no. When you report fake news, which CNN does a lot, You are the enemy of the people. Speaker 0: But now we know that it's not just Trump's Twitter data that Smith's after. He wants to harass and humiliate the Public too. Now the judge in the case okay to warrant to okay to warrant that would force Twitter to disclose Everyone that Donald Trump followed, unfollowed, muted, blocked, or unblocked. And this Jack Smith warrant, by the way, includes information regarding the username associated with the accounts That favorited or retweeted Trump, including information from their connect or notification tabs. Now clearly, Smith is trying to show how much power Trump had, how much engagement he had over his followers in order to help build his January 6th narrative. So how many people are we talking about here that are caught up in this dragnet? Well, as of today, Donald Trump has 87,400,000 followers on Twitter. Now remember, Liberals used to believe in free expression. Remember, Liberals used to believe in freedom of association. I remember those days. But now they're doing everything they can to strip away our constitutional rights. And they get away with this by calling everything a permanent crisis, whether it's COVID, gun violence, climate, racism, Or in this case, the election denialism crisis. Now, they honestly believe, I think, that Trump doesn't deserve free speech rights, Or even the presumption of innocence for that matter because he's too dangerous. Now for years, the pitiful mister Stelter Has Freded about Trump's supposed authoritarianism? Speaker 5: Harvard professor Steven Walt has been keeping a checklist ever since 2016. He called it Ten ways to tell if your president is a dictator. Speaker 0: Of course, over the past few years, we've seen who the real tyrants are. Correct? They don't just want to censor Trump or to harass or censor his followers. They want them smeared, Discredited and, when possible, even imprisoned. Now remember, Biden himself, as decrepit as he is, Repeatedly reinforces this narrative. Speaker 6: Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism That threatens the very foundations of our republic. MAGA republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth, but in the shadow of lies. Speaker 0: After 2020, his administration was on a mission that included trashing and silencing conservative parents and traditional Catholics. Speaker 2: I will never let them take away your freedom. Never let them take it away. They wanna silence me because I will never let them silence you. And in the end, they're not after me, they're after you, but I just happen to be Standing in their way, and I will always be in their way. None of us Speaker 0: should be passively watching this political persecution of Trump and thinks Think that, well, it's all just a one off, it's just about Trump. It's not. Democrats have pretty much just given up at this point on trying to convince voters that their policies It's fear and shame. That's all they're selling the voters. So they're telling you that a vote for Trump is just a vote for Hitler, That Trump's reelection will mean the end of democracy. Again, this is their campaign strategy. All the while, though, they're the ones Who are destroying our faith and fundamental institutions, they're the ones presiding over chaos at home and abroad. Jack Smith is a disgrace. And any judge, in this case, Barrow Howell, who allows him to make a mockery of our legal system is no better. The fact is, there is nothing special about this special counsel, who's a 1 man election interference machine operating without any real scrutiny, Any real oversight? So I'm saying tonight that it's time that the House Judiciary Committee calls him to Capitol Hill to testify. It's time to scrutinize everything Jack Smith is doing, which should lead to cutting off all of his funding. An unhinged, power crazed prosecutor with an unlimited budget, accountable to no one, should never have been given this much power in the 1st place. And as far as all of these so called mainstream Republicans, if you ever wonder how things have gotten so polarized, Why no one trusts trusts you to do the right thing? Just look in the mirror. As our government is compiling enemies lists, As our government is carrying out surveillance and censorship in the name of security, you were silent. That's called tacit approval. And the voters will not forget. You're all kind of like lobsters in a grocery store case, still moving around And completely oblivious to what comes next. Oh, and sorry, the plutocrats' favorite candidate Nikki Haley is not gonna save you. The vicious weaponization of government against the people must be exposed, it must be prosecuted where appropriate And it must be ended once and for all. Anyone who has stood silent as this was unfolding should never get close to power again. And that's the angle.

Sol Wisenberg: This is what no one is talking about in Hunter Biden probe https://lauraingraham.com

Video Transcript AI Summary
Former deputy independent counsel Saul Weisenberg and founder of the Article 3 Project, Mike Davis, discuss Attorney General Merrick Garland's appointment of David Weiss as special counsel. Weisenberg criticizes Garland for not following the special counsel's requirements and suggests that Lisa Monaco, the deputy attorney general, is actually in charge. Davis believes that Weiss was chosen because of his loyalty to Biden and to protect Hunter Biden. They also mention a plea deal for Hunter Biden that included a hidden paragraph granting broad immunity. Weisenberg speculates that the Biden defense team may enforce this agreement, rendering the special counsel appointment irrelevant.

Speaker 0: Joining us now is Saul Weisenberg, former deputy independent counsel and former assistant US attorney and Mike Davis, founder and president of the Article 3 Project. Saul, how does Garland, an experienced lawyer and judge, not know about the special counsel's requirements? Speaker 1: Oh, he knows about it. And it was just the height of hypocrisy for him to say in his press conference, Pursuant to the regulations, I'm appointing I'm appointing David Weiss as special counsel because it's laid out right there. You have to be not just outside the Department of Justice. You have to be outside the United States government. I think the answer to your question is Whether or not he's blind, or corrupt, the the answer is he's really doesn't seem to be in charge Of the Justice Department. I think the number 2 person there is in charge. Speaker 0: And and she is? Speaker 1: Lisa Monaco, the deputy attorney general, who I think is the one who got on the phone with David Weiss and said, no. You're not gonna have authority to bring this case, in any district you want to bring it in. And of course, it's I agree with everyone else who has commented that it is ridiculous. You have a tainted An investigation that clearly has been tainted and compromised. And David Weiss has been the person in charge of it. Speaker 2: Now Speaker 1: he He might not be responsible for all of the mistakes and the slow walking that have been made, but he is ultimately responsible Because he's the person in charge and his integrity has been compromised by the the letters he wrote saying he was in complete authority, Totally inconsistent with what he know we know he told his investigators. So it is a continuation of The cover up to have him as special counsel. Speaker 0: Now, Mike, on MSNBC today, not surprisingly perhaps, they were praising This decision to appoint Weiss. Speaker 3: This decision to make Weiss a special counsel is another marker that DOJ is renewing its independence During the Biden administration, this insulates decision making about the president's son from political appointees. Speaker 0: Mike, that and MSNBC, that they're happy kind of tells you all we need to know here. Speaker 2: Why did attorney general Merrick Garland wait 30 months to make, a special counsel appointment here? And why did he pick David Weese. And the answer is that he picked David Weese because David Weese has proven to be a loyal Biden foot soldier within the Justice Department And they did it now because they ran into a roadblock in Delaware called Judge Norika, who called into question this sweetheart deal For Hunter Biden that we put together, so they're they're using this special counsel appointment as cover to make Garland look tough when actually what they're doing Is there gonna move this case to DC or California to protect Biden? Speaker 0: Well, at this point, Saul, is there any way to challenge or any point in challenging Weiss's eligibility to be special counsel given the regulations? Speaker 1: No. In fact, you you can't do that. It's a part of the regulations that you they're not enforceable in court. But here's a very key thing that nobody is talking about, Laura. That plea deal that Mike was talking about that blew up had 2 parts. The plea agreement And what's called a pretrial diversion agreement. That diversion agreement, it was is for the felony gun charge That after 2 years was gonna be completely dismissed and and would be erased from Hunter's record. But within that diversion agreement Was the was the paragraph, the hidden paragraph that they didn't even show to the judge to the last minute that arguably gave him broad Immunity. And here's what no one's talking about. The the, Biden defense team might very well move to enforce that pretrial diversion agreement. David Shone, who was on your show with me a few weeks ago, suggested that they do that. And boy, if they do that, it doesn't matter who and they win. It doesn't matter who the special Council is.

Speaker 0: That the Biden just currently is going after Thank you Speaker 1: very much. This is a very sad day Speaker 0: for That's all I see. Speaker 2: We just saw the former president actually being handed an umbrella by his co conspirator, Walt Nada. Speaker 3: Okay. That little routine that they pulled when the president started speaking, That kind of sums up the media's culpability in perpetuating a fraud upon the American public. They're not journalists. They're liberal hacks who don't like or trust the tens of millions of Americans who voted for Donald Trump last election. Of course, they weren't gonna actually cover what a former president of the United States was saying in his own defense, but we will. Speaker 1: Is a very sad day for America, and it was also very sad driving through Washington DC and seeing the filth And the decay and all of the broken buildings and walls and the graffiti. This is a persecution of a political opponent. This was never supposed to happen in America. So if you can't beat him, you persecute him or you prosecute him. We can't let this happen in America. Speaker 3: Well, shame on the regime media for not having the decency to cover this case as it should be covered or those remarks. But none of us should be surprised. The New York Times, the Washington Post, other cable networks, they're teeming with unindicted co conspirators. At every turn, they seek to protect the party in power and convict the Republicans in a coordinated effort to interfere with the next presidential election. This is why their coverage today was reminiscent of almost how the OJ Simpson case was handled, complete with Insipid narrations of the scene at the courthouse. And at one point, what seemed almost like a car chase. Speaker 4: They've used this indictment differently than they've used the Mar a indictment, essentially, for the seriousness of it. Speaker 5: This is where the capital is. So this is how close we are To the capital, of of course, the, importance of that in all of this is not lost on anyone here. They've set up these snow plows for extra Security, that's the back of the courthouse. And that is where we believe the former president will go. He will arrive in there and then go inside And then begin the process of being arraigned. He will be arrested. Speaker 3: He'll be arrested? Okay. To give you a sense of how dim CNN senior justice correspondent is, Trump was not arrested today. This is a summons. He appeared. Don't you think Walter Cronkite would be so proud? With to these dunderheads, Trump's not really a human being. He's become a twisted obsession. He's a vessel into which they pour out their bitterness and their arrogance. And applying Jack Smith's nifty new legal standards for the past Few years. The angle could draft an indictment. Oh, yeah. One that charges both Joe Biden and Merrick Garland after they leave office, of course, With multiple counts of efforts to subvert the democratic process. With various media personalities as unindicted co conspirators. Biden's lies about his son's business dealings, Garland's work to slow walk the investigation into Hunter. And of course, their purposeful mischaracterization Of January 6th as an insurrection. All of this has undermined the public's faith in government, and of course, the media. And it was all designed to affect the outcome of both the 2020 and the 2024 elections. And look, the media, they continue to play right along, don't they? To misinform their viewers and their readers, maybe even incite them. And so by election day, they have you all believing that a vote for Trump, It's basically a hate crime. This will be not the trial of the century, the trial of the millennium. Speaker 4: This is finally the first time that I feel that Donald Trump is being treated like a normal American. Speaker 0: I agree with you completely, and I Speaker 6: feel invigorated. The gravity of this crime is, like I said, historic historic and and I think unparalleled since the civil war. Speaker 2: The confederacy, Pearl Harbor, 9,112,001, Osama bin Laden, Donald Trump, Just like those other threats to American democracy, tried to destroy our system. Speaker 7: Bin Laden was a terrorist. I believe that Donald Trump is a terrorist. Speaker 4: Are literally millions of people who felt traumatized. This is, a sense for them to potentially get some accountability. Speaker 3: Oh, but they're never accountable, are they? Well, of course, fair elections are how the people traditionally hold their political leaders accountable. But the people you just heard, they they don't really want that here. They need to help short circuit the process. But most of the time, they were just struggling to fill time. Speaker 8: Really interesting to show us specifically To show our viewers just how close you are, just how close that courthouse is to the United States Capitol. That everything that, That is gonna go on inside the court today, really did happen right there. Speaker 3: Really did happen right there. They're so excited though about the Trump indictment, that they don't just make up crimes, they make up words. Speaker 0: He's not the 1st president who thought he got a bad deal if he lost an election. He's the 1st one to actionize it, to make it, in fact, a pattern of actions that Try to reverse it. Speaker 3: Actionize. Maybe that's on the SATs. I missed it. Well, that's the New York Times top reporter, by the way. Look, they're giddy. They're positively giddy over the prospect of Trump's being buried in legal fees, too. Speaker 9: The former president spent $40,000,000 in the first half of the year from the Save America PAC. So he also, you you know, is a bleeding money. Speaker 10: As you get closer to trial, And he is getting closer to multiple trials. Those costs only increase. Speaker 3: Oh, they're so hoping. And my favorite today probably was when non lawyers tried to out lawyer a real lawyer. Speaker 10: What is Speaker 4: if not to overturn a legitimate election. Speaker 10: The purpose of having a slate of electors, as has been done in prior elections, is to have an alternate slate available in the event that the primary slate is invalidated. You can't just look at the document and say, okay, I I don't like this document, but it's not something you can put people in jail for. Speaker 9: Sixty federal judges, mister Proletariat, as you well know, decided that there was no, appreciable fraud. Speaker 10: That's not accurate. What? Most of those judges, rejected the cases on standing. None of those judges actually got to the merits. Speaker 3: Whoops, someone forgot to put that in the folder. Perhaps most disgusting though, is how our so called historians are in on the conspiracy as well. They've lost all gravitas if they ever had it. And of course, their credibility. And now they are indistinguishable from any other random cable guest. Speaker 4: Does it, as a historian, take your breath away a little bit? Speaker 2: This is a day that we have never seen before in American history. This is an ex president of the United States indicted and arraigned for things he did in office. We could have lost our democracy, our rule of law, The way that we choose presidents, this is something that could have caused us to live in an autocracy. And may yet again. Speaker 3: May yet again get us near an autocracy because then the people will vote. My goodness, a man needs help at this point. We need to is there a Well, maybe this is just a conspiracy of dunces though after all. Because after years of trashing America as systemically racist And branding conservatives as cultists or fascists. They're all somehow a guess that faith in our system is declining. 61% of Americans in Speaker 11: this poll say yes, Joe Biden was legitimately elected. Only 38% say that he wasn't. 69% of Republicans say Joe Biden is not legitimately elected. Only 29% of Republicans say in this poll that he is. Speaker 3: Yeah. And that divide will probably continue to grow. These people just don't want Trump out of politics. This is what you have to understand tonight. They don't just want him to lose next year. They want him to die in prison. This is demented. Ever since the election night in 2016, remember all faces and all the gnashing of teeth on the left. Well, the media and the political elites, they have entrusted Americans to vote for the candidate of their choosing, at least not on a national level. This is why they've joined the conspiracy, pretending that they care about democracy as they slash away at it hour by hour. And they wonder why no one trusts their reporting. If only these so called journalists got out of hair and makeup long enough to leave the Beltway and speak with real Americans. If they did that, maybe they could actually learn something. Like the fact that most voters, they don't want boys and girls sports. They don't want millions of illegals crossing our border. They don't want trade policy that guts American jobs or gas and food prices that go through the roof. Yet Americans See that that is what precisely they're getting from the Biden team. Speaker 11: We asked folks, what is your confidence level that US elections will reflect the will of the people. A majority of Americans in this poll, 58% say little or no confidence. This does not ring of a healthy democracy. Speaker 9: Honestly, it's terrifying.
