Adam Gillette from Accuracy Media confronts Tamara Nowitzky about DEI work at the university, alleging that the department was still engaging in DEI in defiance of state law and that only wording had been changed. Gillette asks if this is true. Nowitzky repeatedly responds, I can't comment, to questions about compliance with the law and whether the department has subverted it by altering language. Gillette presses further, presenting a video in which Nowitzky allegedly said she had to change the words because people are dumb. He asks if she said that, and whether the department is complying with the law or subverting it by changing words. Nowitzky again declines to comment, saying, I can't comment, and does not provide direct answers to whether there were thoughts or criticisms about taxpayers who oppose funding DEI, potential loss of state or federal funds, or a message to legislators who passed a law banning DEI at universities. Gillette notes that Nowitzky had commented extensively in the video, and asks for clarification about whether she misspoke or if the statements are accurate. Nowitzky responds with fragmented phrases: “I can't come,” followed by partial words from Gillette’s prompt, and then, “Most of your progressive. Of your faculty faculty,” seemingly offering insufficient, disconnected remarks. Gillette continues to seek any thoughts on whether a predominantly progressive faculty fosters a welcoming environment for students who don’t share those values, but Nowitzky again says, I can't comment. Gillette indicates that investigators spoke with several staffers and found that the psychology department and other departments had changed wording but were continuing the same DEI work. He asks Nowitzky for comments on these findings. Nowitzky states that the university is “fully compliant with House Bill four and all federal laws and policies and procedures with respect to that issue.” He acknowledges this while also noting concerns raised by Tamara Nowitzky in the psychology department about the claim that they “just changed the words because people are dumb.” In closing, Gillette mentions the recorded comments and complaints alleging that the university continued DEI work in defiance of state law, despite the purported word changes. The exchange ends with Nowitzky reiterating the university’s position of compliance and presenting the conflicting claim from a department member about altering wording, rather than altering the underlying DEI work.

Speaker 0: Hi, miss Nowitzky? Yes. I'm Adam Gillette with Accuracy Media. Great to meet you. Speaker 1: Nice to meet you. Speaker 0: We received a report that your department was still doing DEI work in defiance of state law and that you merely just were changing the wording. Is that true? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: Have you ever said anything like that? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: So we have a video with you right here, and you said that you had to change the words because people are dumb. Speaker 1: Use those words. You'll have to, you know, put up. So you can't use the words? Oh, okay. Sorry. No. No. No. No. No. I'm sorry. You mean, like, in writing? A horse stumbling. Okay. We can't actually use those words because, you know, people are dumb. But, yeah, we still teach all of that. Speaker 0: And you went on to explain that you were still continuing to do the DEI work. What people are dumb? Speaker 1: I can't Speaker 0: This is you in the video. Right? Speaker 1: I can't Speaker 0: Is your department complying with the law, or are they subverting it by changing words? What would you say? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: No thoughts at all on this. What do you think about the taxpayers who don't like funding DEI work? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: Interesting. Do you think it puts your department in jeopardy of losing state or federal funds because you might be defying the state law? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: No thoughts on that at all? What do you have any message for the legislators who passed a law banning DEI and don't want that work at universities? Speaker 1: I can't come. Speaker 0: You commented a lot in the video. I'd love to hear if this is correct or not or if maybe you just misspoke and wanted to clarify a little bit. I can't come. Most Speaker 1: of your Speaker 0: progressive. Of your faculty faculty are Does that make it a welcoming environment for students who don't share those values? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: No thoughts at all on any of that? Speaker 1: I can't comment. Speaker 0: Okay. Well, we'll check with some other staffers. Thank you very much. We received a couple, comments and complaints from people who were telling us that the university was continuing to do DEI in defiance of state law. And some of our investigators came to the university and met with a number of individuals in the psychology department and other departments who explained that they just changed the wording and were continuing to do the exact same work. Do you have any comments or thoughts on that? Speaker 1: The university is fully compliant with House Bill four and all federal laws and policies and procedures with respect to that issue. Speaker 0: Well, I appreciate that. And but I'm concerned because, for example, Tamara Nowitzky in the psychology department was explaining that they just changed the words because people are dumb this way. This way.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Adam Gillette of Accuracy and Media confronted Melissa Newhouse about a report that her department was “explaining how you do DEI and defiance of state law.” Newhouse denied knowledge of that claim, noting their offices were closed when approached by the investigator. In the video that Gillette referenced, Newhouse was shown or described as saying that the buildings “now have to allow the whites and the privileged people.” Newhouse responded that this was not true. She explained that, due to the law, signs and centers that previously targeted one group were changed to be “common” rather than center-specific. She stated that “the whites are there … to help effort” and clarified that the change does not affect their curriculum. During the conversation, another speaker (Speaker 2) confirmed that the class content would still cover topics such as DEI and intersectionality, and that students would continue to learn DEI as part of the curriculum if that is what the class is about. Newhouse was asked if the video showed her voice, and she questioned whether the voice might be AI-generated. She later said, “No. I didn’t,” in response to whether the person in the video was her. Newhouse described changes to the center’s name—from Multicultural Center to Common Center—and claimed the purpose was to ensure “American white people” were represented too. She emphasized that the concept is for students to feel they belong, stating, “Belonging is very important.” She highlighted the leadership team’s diversity and noted ongoing efforts in equity, access, and education, including grants for equity. She claimed these initiatives were funded by corporate money (Apple) and had not been cut, though described as quieter and less university-sponsored. Adam Gillette pressed on whether the department was continuing DEI in defiance of state law and pressed for further clarity about the signs, centers, and curriculum. Newhouse denied that the video showed her saying that whites must be allowed; she insisted the claim was not true and suggested the visuals were AI. She reiterated that the department was still pursuing equity initiatives, with ongoing funding from corporate sources. Toward the end, Gillette stated the interview and Newhouse’s denial left an impression of a disconnect between the video and her stated position, highlighting that Newhouse had initially denied the video but then claimed the voice could be AI, leading to broader questions about authenticity.

We received a report that your department was explaining how you do DEI and defiance of state law. Is that true? Speaker 1: Oh, actually, I I don't know. Actually, we're closed for Speaker 0: a In this video, you told our investigator that these buildings now have to allow the whites and the privileged people. Speaker 1: Oh, no. Is that true? That's not true. Speaker 0: Well, this looks like you right here. Right? Speaker 1: Because of the law, we had to change signs and centers that were center specific to one group. They just closed or they changed them to common. So the whites are there to you know, not just the underrepresented, they brought the people with the privilege there to help effort. What it doesn't do is it doesn't affect our curriculum. Speaker 2: Okay. Speaker 1: We as long as the discussions that's the name of the course, and it's about diversity and it's about inclusion or Speaker 2: what So he still will learn my son would still learn DEI in his as part of his curriculum and intersectionality. Speaker 1: Yes. If that's what the class is about. Is this you? It Speaker 0: looks like you're right here, isn't it? Speaker 1: That's not your voice? I'm sorry. We haven't Speaker 0: Whose voice is that better? Speaker 1: It's like I I was at the union the other day, it used to be the multicultural center. Speaker 0: Yeah. Speaker 1: It's not called that now. It's the common center because they don't they want American white people to be in there too. Speaker 0: Yeah. Speaker 1: But the whole concept is to be somewhere where you feel you see who you relate to. Speaker 2: Belonging is very important. Speaker 1: It is, yeah, hugely. And you look at our leadership team out there, the pictures out out there, the folks, we're very diverse. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: And they they're extremely passionate about that, and they're doing what we can. They're still doing things. Equity, we have a lot of grants for equity and educate access and equity and education. Since they're funded by Apple, they haven't been cut. Right? Speaker 2: Okay. If Speaker 1: they're financed, then it's corporate money. So there's still stuff going on, and it's just more quiet. It's not like university Yeah. Sponsored. Not just I'm checking on the requisites or we have another can I give you my Sure? Speaker 0: I'm confused by this because you said that you have to allow the whites now. You have to allow the privilege. Those were your it's this not you. Speaker 1: No. I didn't. Speaker 0: That's not you in the video? Speaker 1: No. That's that must be AI. I'm sorry. Speaker 0: That's AI? Speaker 1: It's gotta be that's not me saying that. Sure. The police are the police. Hall of fame. Yeah. Speaker 0: I'm Adam Gillette with Accuracy and Media. How are you? Hi. I'm Europe. What's happening next? Miss Newhouse was explaining to our investigator that the department is continuing to do DEI in defiance of state law. We're having to go now. I understand. She says that's AI. Does that look like AI do? Thank you. Did you please? Sure. Have a great day. Well, that's an interesting one. She denied that it was her, but then said it was her face, but not her voice, and that it was AI. I can't imagine what it be like to go to a university with somebody that removed from reality. Not only with their politics and with their view of the world, but with the denial that that was her in a video and instead claiming that it was AI.

Speaker 0: Should be considered. I mean, I this crooks kid that did this, that shot at the president. What? How? What happened? I wanna know what happened. Speaker 1: Man, I I don't I I probably veer in the direction that there were you know, on the on the sort of conspiracy theory of history, I veer in the direction that there was a lot of crazy stuff like this that was going on in The US first half of the twentieth century overdrive nineteen forties. You know, the I mean, you had the Manhattan Project, this giant secret project, nineteen fifties, nineteen sixties. And then and then somehow the last fifty years, I think the I'm not sure disturbing, But the perspective I have is these institutions are less functional. I I don't think I don't think the CIA is doing anything quite like MKUltra anymore. Speaker 0: Why do you think that? Speaker 1: I think you had the church commission hearings in the late seventies, and and somehow things things got things got exposed. And and then when when things when bureaucracy is forced to be formalized, it probably becomes a lot less functional. You know? There was a or like the February version, there was I think there was a lot of crazy stuff that we did in black sites, torturing people that the CIA ran and, you know, in the war on terror. It's waterboarding. There's all sorts of batshit crazy stuff that happened. But then, you know, once John Yu in the Bush forty three administration writes the torture memos and sort of formalizes, this is how many times you can water dunk someone without being tortured, etcetera, etcetera. Once you formalize it, people somehow know that it's on its way out because, you know, it doesn't quite work anymore. So by I don't know. By 2007 at Guantanamo, I think the inmates were running the asylum. The inmates and the defense lawyers were running it. You were way safer as a Muslim terrorist in Guantanamo than as a, let's say, suspected cop killer in Manhattan. There was still an informal process in Manhattan. You were a suspected cop killer. They'd figure out some way to to deal with you outside the judicial the formal judicial process. And but I think something there was a sort of formalization that happened. There was the post j Edgar Hoover FBI where Hoover was, I don't know, a law unto himself. It was completely out of control. CIA even more so. And then, you know, once it all gets exposed and it it probably is a lot harder to do. The NSA, you know, NSA probably held up longer as a deep state entity where it at least had the virtue peep you know, I think the nineteen eighties, it was still referred to as no such agency. So it's still it was still far more obscure. So the necessary condition is that if some part of the deep state's doing it, you know, we we we can barely know what's going on Right. With them. And then, I don't know, you know, the the February history of on the on on you know, I think the Patriot Act empowered all these FISA courts, and I think there was I think there probably were ways the NSA FISA court process was was weaponized in a really, really crazy way.

It's run by Glenn McDonald, a former Spotify employee, who unfortunately lost access to internal data but still offers an amazing variety of music. He even wrote a book titled "You Have Not Yet Heard Your Favorite Song," which I recommend for music enthusiasts. So after obsessing over this site I learned that it is run by a gentleman named Glenn McDonald who is a former employee of Spotify. Unfortunately since he is now a former employees he lost access to the internal data which allowed him to keep updating the site. Nonetheless there is an endless variety already available. It’s amazing. He also wrote a book named “You have not yet heard your favorite song”. If you’re obsessed with music and it’s contemporary history I’d recommend acquiring it.

A study conducted by Dr. Marcus Zervos entitled “Impact of Childhood Vaccination on Short and Long-Term Chronic Health Outcomes in Children: A Birth Cohort Study” it found that vaccinated children were significantly more unhealthy than unvaccinated. They refuse to publish it. https://t.co/OMl4M5nm0n

Video Transcript AI Summary
Leading up to 02/2013, the IOM was commissioned by HHS to review the safety of the CDC's childhood schedule. The IOM concluded, "the studies designed to examine the long term effects..." have not been conducted and "there is no evidence that the schedule is not safe," adding that "it is possible to make the comparison" using databases like the Vaccine Safety Data Link. "Has it been done? I don't know. Has it been published? No." In 02/2017, ICANT pressed for a vaccinated-versus-unvaccinated study; Dr. Zervos at Henry Ford agreed to conduct it. The Henry Ford study followed births 2000–2016, finding vaccinated children had higher rates of asthma (4.29x), atopic disease (3.03x), autoimmune disease (5.96x), neurodevelopmental disorders (5.53x), including developmental delay (3.28x) and speech disorder (4.47x). ADHD: 260 cases vaccinated, none unvaccinated. After ten years, 17% unvaccinated vs 57% vaccinated had a chronic issue. The study was not published because its findings did not fit the belief and policy that vaccines are safe. We can protect children from infectious disease, and we can protect children from vaccine harms.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Leading up to, 02/2013, the Institute of Medicine was commissioned by the United States Department of Health and Human Services to review the entire body of existing scientific literature to assess the safety of the CDC's childhood schedule as a whole. HHS paid the IOM to do that. After the IOM engaged in that task with a panel of multidisciplinary scientists, it concluded, quote, the studies designed to examine the long term effects of the cumulative number of vaccines or other aspects of the immunization schedule have not been conducted, have not been conducted, end quote. That's the Institute of Medicine's finding after reviewing the entire body of scientific literature. Meaning, the IOM could not find studies comparing as you would do to study the safety of a product, an exposed group, meaning kids that got vaccines, the childhood schedule with unvaccinated children, kids who got no vaccines, which is what you would need to assess the safety of the schedule. Lacking evidence to support safety, the best the IOM can conclude was, quote, there is no evidence that the schedule is not safe, end quote. This, of course, also means the IOM cannot find evidence to conclude that the schedule is safe. The IRM report did say it is, quote, possible to make the comparison, meaning through vaccinated, unvaccinated children, through analyses of patient information contained in large databases such as the vaccine safety data link, end quote, which used to be housed at the CDC. But to date, the government has still not conducted this comparison. By the way, the CDC conducted published a white paper in 2015 on how to do that study. Has it been done? I don't know. Has it been published? No. In 02/2017, one of our clients, senator Johnson said earlier, the Informed Consent Action Network, wanted to see this exact study of comparing vaccinated versus unvaccinated children. As the, trailer you just watched noted, Del Bigtree, ICANT CEO, had met doctor Marcus Servis at one point, who was the head of infectious disease at Henry Ford Medical Center. And he agreed to meet and to potentially do the study. He is a conducts clinical trials for vaccines, including for the Moderna COVID nineteen vaccine. He's a validly pro vaccine. And when we met him, we argued that this was an opportunity to shut the anti vaxxers up about their claim that unvaccinated children are healthier. To our surprise, doctor Zervers said he would conduct the study. He recruited a chief epidemiologist and two statisticians within Henry Ford to do so. These were mainstream scientists who no doubt held orthodox views regarding vaccines. In early twenty twenty, I received a copy of the study. It showed the results of the analysis comparing children enrolled in Henry Ford from 2000 to 2016 from birth onward who had no vaccines compared to those who had one or more vaccines. This study was based on actual medical records. Meaning, finally, a large vaccinated versus unvaccinated study using health data from a major United States health institution, something, as the IOM pointed out, never existed before. The study began by explaining it set out to reduce vaccine hesitancy by assuring parents the CDC vaccine schedule is safe instead. What these researchers found was that vaccinated children had four point two nine times the rate of asthma, three point zero three times the rate of atopic disease, five point nine six times the rate of autoimmune disease, and five point five three times the rate of neurodevelopmental disorders, which included three point two eight times the rate of developmental delay, and four point four seven times the rate of speech disorder. All of these findings were statistically significant. There was also other conditions for which there were numerous cases in the vaccinated group, but zero in the unvaccinated group. Hence, a rate cannot be calculated including brain dysfunction, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and ticks. For example, there were two hundred sixty cases of ADHD in the vaccinated group and there were none in the unvaccinated group. In this study, there were around sixteen thousand kids in the vaccinated group, by the way, and around two thousand in the unvaccinated group. So the rate, of course, between those is important, and that's what the study compared. These findings were troubling, including because these chronic health issues can be caused by immune system dysregulation, and vaccines can cause immune system dysregulation. Citations for this are in my written submission. Overall, the study found that after ten years, seventeen percent of the unvaccinated children had a chronic health issue, while fifty seven percent of the vaccinated children had at least one chronic health issue, often multiple. That's seventeen versus fifty seven percent. The only real problem with this study and why it didn't get submitted for publication is that its findings did not fit the belief and the policy that vaccines are safe. Had it found vaccinated children were healthier, it no doubt would have been published immediately. But because it found the opposite, it was shoved in a draw. We have repeatedly urged doctor Zervos and La Mirada to submit the study for publication. They have affirmed the study was well designed and conducted, but doctor Zervis has said he doesn't wanna lose his job. And doctor Lamoretta has said she does not wanna make doctors uncomfortable. This is a real world example of how the science around vaccines gets corrupted, how only studies that confirm the beliefs and policies that vaccines are safe get published. Everything else gets shoved in a draw. This selection bias is dangerous and results in corrupting all the science concerning vaccine safety. We can protect children from infectious disease, and we can protect children from vaccine harms. We should and we must do both.

“The Godfather of Vaccines” Dr. Stanley Plotkin admits under oath he got paid from all of the big Pharma companies while consulting for an “Independent Report” on whether or not Vaccines cause autism. For some extremely odd reason he didn’t feel the need to disclose it in the report.

Video Transcript AI Summary
In 2011 the IOM issued a vaccine-safety report, 'Adverse Effects of Evidence of Causality,' examining 158 serious injuries after vaccination. The speaker notes they were consulting for Sanofi, Merck, GSK, and others, not disclosed in the report. Tdap is on the childhood schedule and is given to pregnant women. On autism, the IOM concluded, 'The evidence is inadequate to accept or reject a causal relationship between diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, or acellular pertussis containing vaccine and autism.' The evidence doesn't exist to show whether DTaP or Tdap do or do not cause autism. 'There is not evidence to, say a million different things. We have no suspicions, at least I don't, that, autism is caused by DTaP.' 'absence of evidence is no proof whatsoever.' He could tell parents that DTaP, Tdap does not cause autism, and, 'I'm also willing to tell them it doesn't cause leprosy.'

Speaker 0: 02/2011, the IOM then issued another report on vaccine safety, and this time it looked at a hundred and fifty eight of the most commonly claimed serious injuries after vaccination. Right? Speaker 1: Yeah. Mhmm. Yes. K. Speaker 0: The title of that report is Adverse Effects of Evidence of Causality. Did you provide information to the IOM committee conducting this review? Speaker 1: Recall specifically whether I did or not. A lot of people ask for my opinions. When asked, I give my opinions. Speaker 0: A: Do you see a section entitled Reviewers? Speaker 1: Oh, yes. I'm on the list. Speaker 0: The purpose of this independent review is to provide candid and critical comments that will assist the institutions in making its published report as sound as possible and to ensure that the report meets institutional standards for objectivity, evidence, and responsiveness to the study charge. It doesn't disclose that at that time you were working for all four of the major vaccine makers, correct? In 2011, were you receiving compensation and remuneration from Sanofi? Speaker 1: I was yes, as I've said before. I was consulting for Sanofi as well as others. Speaker 0: Were you consulting for Merck? Speaker 1: A: Yes, probably at that time. Speaker 0: And GSK? Yes. And as well as a whole host of other for profit companies seeking to develop vaccines, correct? Speaker 1: A: Yes. Speaker 0: I'm just saying that's not mentioned here, correct? Speaker 1: No. Speaker 0: Tdap is one of the vaccines on the childhood schedule, right? Yes. It's administered to babies during the first year of life? Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 0: We already talked about this at two, four, and six months, right? Yes. Now as for Tdap, that's given to pregnant women, correct? Yes. Q: What was the IOM's conclusion in 2011 about whether these vaccines can cause autism? Speaker 1: I'd have to look that up, but feel confident that they do not cause autism. Speaker 0: Q: You feel confident that that's what the IOM concluded? Speaker 1: I don't remember what the IOM concluded, but I don't believe there's any evidence that that's the case. Speaker 0: Can you read the causality conclusion with regard to whether DTaP and Tdap cause autism? Speaker 1: The evidence is inadequate to accept or reject a causal relationship between diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, or acellular pertussis containing vaccine and autism. Speaker 0: The evidence doesn't exist to show whether DTaP or Tdap do or do not cause autism, correct? Speaker 1: Yes. Evidence not being available Speaker 0: Yes. Speaker 1: Does not allow you to conclude that the phenomena that there is a causal relationship. Speaker 0: But it does allow you to conclude that the evidence doesn't exist to say that DTaP and Tdap do not cause autism. Speaker 1: There is not evidence to, say a million different things. We have no suspicions, at least I don't, that, autism is caused by DTaP. Speaker 0: You may not have that suspicion but it is one of the most commonly reported adverse events which is why it was reviewed in this IOM report. Can you make the statement that vaccines do not cause autism if you don't know whether DTaP or Tdap cause autism? Speaker 1: I can say as a physician that no, they do not cause autism. You know, I can't be sure that DTaP doesn't cause leprosy. That doesn't mean that that stops me from using DTaP vaccine. Are people claiming that DTaP has caused leprosy? Speaker 0: Are you aware of any such complaints? Speaker 1: I'm not aware of any such complaints but I wouldn't be surprised to see it on the web one of these days. Speaker 0: Okay. But people have made enough complaints about DTaP, Tdap causing autism that the Institute of Medicine at the Commission of HHS thought it was serious enough to do a scientific review, correct? Speaker 1: Yes. I mean there are a million things on web including all kinds of diet advice based on ridiculous information. So why should I adopt that? Speaker 0: Are you saying that the IOM was engaging in a ridiculous review here? The only thing I've asked you is whether or not one can assert that vaccines do not cause autism, Speaker 1: Counselor, but they let's be let's be real. You're asking me these questions because you want me to legitimize a view that vaccines cause autism, and I will not do that because absence of evidence is no proof whatsoever. You're okay with telling the parent that DTaP, Tdap does not cause autism even though Speaker 0: the science isn't there yet to support that claim? Speaker 1: Absolutely. I'm also willing to tell them it doesn't cause leprosy. Speaker 0: Have you ever used orphans to study

Speaker 0: Hey, y'all. Today, I'm gonna be reading the Amana electric dryer, user manual. Dryer safety. Your safety and the safety of others are very important. We have provided many important safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Always read and obey all safety messages. This is the safety alert symbol. This symbol alerts you to potential hazards that can kill or hurt you and others. All safety messages will follow the safety alert symbol and either the word danger or warning. The word danger means you can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions. Warning means you can be killed or seriously injured if you don't follow instructions. All safety messages will tell you what the potential hazard is, tell you how to reduce the chance of injury, and tell you what can happen if the instructions are not followed. Risk of fire. Clothes dryer installation must be performed by a qualified installer. Install the clothes dryer according to the manager's instructions and local codes. Do not install a clothes dryer with flexible plastic venting materials or flexible metal foil type duct. If flexible metal duct is installed, it must be of a specific type identified by the appliance manufacturer as suitable for use with clothes dryers. Flexible venting materials are known to collapse, be easily crushed, and trap lint. These conditions will obstruct clothes dryer airflow and increase the risk of fire. To reduce the risk of severe injury or death, follow all instructions. Save these instructions. Warning. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the dryer, follow basic precautions including the following. Read all instructions before using the dryer. Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your dryer. Items contaminated with cooking oils may contribute to a chemical reduction that could cause a load to catch fire. To reduce the risk of fire due to contaminated loads, the final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat, a cool down period. Avoid stopping a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated. Do not dry articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline, dry cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances as they give off vapors that could ignite or explode. Do not allow children to play on or in the dryer. Close supervision of children is necessary when the dryer is used near children. Before the dryer is removed for service or discarded, remove the door to the drying compartment. Do not reach into the dryer if the drum is moving. Do not install or store the dryer where it will be exposed to the weather. Do not tamper with the controls. Do not repair or replace any part of the dryer or attempt any servicing unless specifically recommended in this use and care guide or in published user repair instructions that you understand and have the skills to carry out. Do not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommended by the manufacturer of the fabric softener or product. Do not use heat to dry articles containing foam, rubber, or similarly textured rubber like materials. Clean lint screen before or after each load. Keep area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and dirt. The interior of the dryer and exhaust vent should be cleaned and periodically by qualified service professional. See electrical requirements located in the installation instructions for grounding instructions. Warning. Fire or explosion hazard. Failure to follow safety warnings exactly could result in serious injury, death, or property damage. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. Here's what to do if you smell gas. Do not try to light any appliance. Do not touch any electrical switch. Do not use any phone in your building. Clear the room, building, or area of all occupants. Immediately, call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions. If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier. Warning. Gas leaks cannot always be detected by smell. Gas suppliers recommend that you use a gas detector approved by UL or CSA. For more information, contact your gas supplier. If a gas leak is detected, follow the what to do if I smell gas instructions. Here are the state of California proposition 65 warnings. Warning. This product contains one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer. This product contains one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Check your vent system for a good airflow. Fire hazard. Do use a heavy metal vent. Do not use a plastic vent. Do not use a metal foil vent. Failure to follow these instructions can result in in death or fire. Good airflow along, along with heat, Dryers require good airflow to efficiently dry laundry. Proper venting will reduce your drying times and improve your energy savings. See installation instructions. The venting system attached to the dryer plays a big role in good airflow. Service calls caused by improper venting are not covered by the warranty and will be paid by the customer regardless of who installed the dryer. To main good to maintain good airflow, clean your lint screen before each load. Replace the plastic or foil vent material with four inch diameter heavy rigid vent material. Use the shortest length of vent possible. Use no more than four ninety degree elbows in a vent system. Each bend and curve reduces airflow. Remove lint and debris from the exhaust hood. Remove lint from the entire length of the vent system at least every two years. When cleaning is complete, be sure to follow the installation instructions supplied with your dryer for final product check. Clear away items from the front of the dryer. Use automatic dry slash sensor dry cycles for better fabric care and energy savings. Use the automatic dry slash sensor dry cycles to provide the most energy savings and enhanced fabric care from the dryer. During automatic dry slash sensor dry cycles, drying air temperature or moisture level are sensed in the load. This sensing occurs throughout the drying cycle, and the dryer shuts off when the load reaches the selected dryness. With timed dry, the dryer runs the amount of time set and sometimes results in shrinkage, wrinkling, and static due to overdrying. Use timed dry for the occasional damp load that needs a little more drying time or when using the drying rack. Here are the control panel and features. The dryer cycle knob. Use your dryer cycle knob to select available cycles on your dryer. Turn the knob to select a cycle for your laundry load. See cycle guide for detailed descriptions of cycles. Time to dry. We'll run the dryer for the specified time on the control. On models with a selectable temperature knob, you may choose a setting based on the fabrics in your load. Drying time and temperature will depend on your dryer model. Temperature. Selecting a drying temperature based on the fabrics in your load. If you are unsure of the temperature to select for a load, select the lower setting rather than the highest setting. Push to start end of cycle signal. The end of cycle signal produces an audible sound when the drying cycle is finished. Promptly removing clothes at the end of the cycle reduces wrinkling. Turn the end of cycle signal knob to select the desired setting, on or off. Press press the push to start knob to start the dryer. Cycle guide. Not all cycles and settings are available on all models. Note, government energy certifications for the gas and electric models are based on the time dry cycle with the maximum drying temperature setting. The as chip defaults of auto dry, Acura dry, automatic dry, auto moisture sensing, or sensor dry, normal or energy preferred cycle, low heat, wrinkle, or wrinkle prevent were not used. Here are okay. So if you're drying something like jeans or heavy work clothes or towels, you're gonna wanna use a heavy dry, a very dry, normal energy preferred, dryness level with high temperature. K. So to set the drying temperature, if your dryer has multiple heat settings, a high temperature setting may be used for drying heavyweight items such as towels and work clothes. A low to medium temperature setting may be used for drying mediumweight items such as sheets, blouses, dresses, underwear, permanent press fabrics, and some knits. Use the no heat temperature setting for no heat fluff cycle for foam, rubber, plastic, or heat sensitive fabrics. Line dry bonded or laminated fabrics. Note, if you have questions about drying temperatures for various loads, refer to the carrier label directions. Warning, explosion hazard. Keep flammable materials and vapors such as gasoline away from the dryer. Do not dry anything that has ever had anything flammable on it, even after washing. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, explosion, or fire. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the important safety instructions before operating this dryer. Before using your dryer, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth to remove dust from storing and shipping. Clean the lint screen before each load. Pull the lint screen out of its holder. Roll the lint off the screen with your fingers. Do not rinse or wash screen to remove lint. Put the lint screen firmly back into place. For additional cleaning information, see dryer care. Place laundry in the dryer. Close the door. Do not tightly pack the dryer. Clothes should be able to tumble freely. Note, your model may have a different door than the one shown. Some models have drop down doors. Fire hazard. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it, including cooking oils. Items containing foam or rubber or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using an air cycle. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire. To select the desired cycle. Select the desired cycle for your load. See the cycle guide for more information about each cycle. You can select a different dryness level depending on your load by turning the knob to the dryness level. Selecting very dry, normal, energy preferred, or less dry automatically adjusts the dryness level at which the dryer will shut off. Once a dry level is set, it cannot be changed without stopping the cycle. Automatic slash sensor dry cycles give the best drying in the shortest time. Drying time varies based on the fabric type, load size, and dryness setting. Select cycle settings and options by turning the knob to the desired position. Either no heat, low, medium, or high. Turn the end of cycle signal knob to select the desired setting, on or off. The end of cycle signal produces an audible sound when the drying cycle is finished. Promptly remove clothes at the end of the cycle to reduce wrinkling. Push and hold the start button to begin the cycle. Dryer care. Keep the dryer area clear and free from items that would block the airflow from proper dryer operation. This includes clearing piles of laundry in front of the dryer. To clean the dryer drum, apply a liquid non flammable household cleaner to the stained area of the drum and rub with a soft cloth until the stain is removed. Wipe drum thoroughly with a damp cloth, and tumble a load of clean cloths or towels to dry the drum. Garments that contain loose dyes, such as denim bluejeans or brightly colored cotton items, may discolor the dryer interior. These stains are not harmful to your dryer and will not stain future loads of clothes. Dry these items inside out to avoid drum staining. From inside the dryer cabinet, lint should be removed every two years or more often depending on dryer usage. Cleaning should be done by a qualified servicer. Lint should be removed every two years from the exhaust vent or more often depending on dryer usage. For cleaning the lint screen, do not run the dryer with the lint screen loose, damaged, blocked, or missing. Doing so can cause overheating and damage to both the dryer and fabrics. If lint falls off the screen into the dryer during removal, check the exhaust hood and remove the lint. See venting requirements. As needed cleaning, laundry detergent and fabric softener residue can build up on the lint screen. This buildup can cause longer drying times for your clothes, or cause the dryer to stop before your load is completely dry. The screen is probably clogged if lint falls off while the screen is in the dryer. Clean the lint screen with a nylon brush every six months or more frequently if it becomes clogged due to a residue buildup. To wash, roll lint off the screen with your fingers, wet both sides of the lint screen with hot water, and wet a nylon brush with hot water and liquid detergent. Scrub the lint screen with the brush to remove residue buildup. Then rinse the screen with hot water and thoroughly dry the lint screen with a clean towel and reinstall screen in dryer. Operate your dryer only when you are at home. If you will be on vacation or not using your dryer for an extended period of time, you should unplug your dryer or disconnect power. And for gas dryers only, close the shutoff valve to gas supply line. And finally, clean the lint screen. For moving care, unplug the power supply cord and make sure the leveling legs are secure in the dryer base. Use tape to secure the dryer door. For direct wire dryers, turn off power at fuse or breaker box. Disconnect wiring. Make sure leveling legs are secure in the dryer base, and use tape to secure the dryer door. To change the drum light on some models, unplug the dryer or disconnect power. Open the dryer door. Locate the light bulb cover on the back wall of the dryer using a one fourth nut driver or socket wrench. Remove the screw located in the lower right hand corner of the cover. Remove the cover. Turn the bulb counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with a 10 watt appliance bulb only. Replace the cover and secure with the screw. Plug into a grounded outlet or reconnect power. Troubleshooting. If you experience clothes are not drying satisfactorily, drying times are too long, possible causes could be lint screen clogged, the no heat temperature setting, low too large, and heavy. The exhaust vent could be clogged with lint. Yeah. Whatever.

Yeah. Whatever.

The FDA has approved Moderna's new COVID vaccine, mNEXSPIKE®, but it was tested against Spikevax, not a placebo, raising ethical concerns. This approval, based on a Phase 3 trial with over 11,000 participants, means we can't accurately assess safety or risk compared to doing nothing. The approval process seems designed to obscure potential side effects, as both vaccines share similar adverse reactions. Future trials are planned, including for pregnant women, but the core question remains unaddressed: what happens if no vaccine is administered?

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

🧵THREAD: The FDA Just Approved Moderna’s New COVID Shot, mNEXSPIKE® But there’s a catch, they never tested it against a placebo. They tested it against the other COVID shot. Why? Because “ethics.” Here’s what they don’t want you to notice.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Moderna’s new vaccine, mNEXSPIKE®, was just greenlit by the FDA on May 31, 2025 for Adults 65+ and ages 12–64 with risk factors. According to the FDA, the approval is based on a Phase 3 trial (NCT05815498) with ~11,400 participants. But they didn’t test it against saline. They tested it against Spikevax®, their other COVID shot. Yes, really. Source: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/06/01/fda-approves-modernas-new-lower-dose-covid-19-vaccine.html

Moderna’s press release boasts: “mNEXSPIKE was non-inferior to Spikevax in preventing COVID-19… with a 9.3% higher relative vaccine efficacy.” But let’s be real, what they’re saying is: 💉 Our new mRNA shot is about as mediocre as the old one. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

This is how pharma plays the game: Once a shot is approved, even under emergency powers, they call it “standard of care.” Then they use that product as the control group in new trials. That way, no placebo is ever used again. Science™.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Why does this matter? Because it makes it impossible to measure: Absolute safety Absolute risk of adverse events How it compares to doing nothing Every shot gets tested against another shot. It’s a never-ending loop of relative bullshit. The official line is this: “Using a placebo would be unethical because we have an effective vaccine.” So you’re saying it’s unethical to compare a new vaccine to nothing because you’ve already approved one… based on incomplete, rushed trials? That’s not ethics. That’s regulatory sleight of hand.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The reason regulators and pharmaceutical companies often cite for not using a true placebo (i.e., saline injection) once a vaccine has been authorized is that it would be “unethical to withhold a known effective treatment” from participants, especially during a public health emergency. “Standard of Care” https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abf5084?utm

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

This shell game means we never get real answers about how many people are harmed by these products compared to doing nothing at all. Remember: Spikevax (the control) is no saint. It’s associated with: •Myocarditis •Pericarditis •Neuropathy •Blood clots •Menstrual disruption •Bell’s Palsy •Sudden unexplained deaths So using it as a “placebo” masks harm in the new shot. If both vaccines cause fatigue, fever, myalgia, and heart inflammation, then comparing the two just tells us which one hurts slightly less. It doesn’t tell us whether either one is safe. This is how you bury side effects under statistical fog.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

From the FDA’s own label: https://www.fda.gov/media/186738/download?attachment

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Totally normal, they say. They also admit that it doesn’t protect “all people” who inject into their bodies. “Vaccination with mNEXSPIKE may not protect all people who receive the vaccine.” Translation: we approved this on the same “trust us” logic we used in 2020. Oh, and they’re requiring Moderna to run more trials after it’s approved. Including one for pregnant women… due in 2032. Yeah. They approved it now, and they’ll figure out if it harms fetuses later. Source: https://www.fda.gov/media/186740/download?attachment https://t.co/ZpMrlqDl16

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Another upcoming study will test whether adults aged 50–64 even benefit from vaccination at all. They’re only now asking whether middle-aged adults even need it. But don’t worry, it’s already approved. https://t.co/4twgf2qxt4

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

They rig the trials, skip the control group, blur the data, and rubber-stamp it all under the guise of “ethics.” And if you question it? You’re “anti-vax” or “dangerous.” This is Moderna’s new business model: → Approve a reformulated shot every year → Compare it only to last year’s shot → Call it science → Sell it to the government → Exempt from liability A pharmaceutical perpetual motion machine.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

By using Spikevax as the comparator, Moderna and the FDA avoid having to ask the only question that matters: What happens when you do nothing? And that’s the question they’re terrified to answer. Because if you knew the true baseline for adverse events, efficacy, and long-term outcomes, you’d realize their products are a shell game. The ethics they invoke are not about protecting you. They’re about protecting the narrative And the narrative must never be placebo-controlled.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Call it what it is: mNEXSPIKE wasn’t tested against a placebo. It was tested against another mRNA shot riddled with side effects, so they could say: It’s just as bad as the last one. Approved. Welcome to science in 2025.

Spikevax has an ARR of 1.15% and NNV of 87. So 87 individuals need to be vaccinated with Spikevax to prevent one symptomatic COVID-19 case. However with the new one, without a placebo group, calculating the ARR and NNV directly is not feasible. They know that but I’d surmise it’s about the same as the last.

In this series, I explored the CIA's 1953 coup in Iran, which overthrew Prime Minister Mossadegh, leading to the Shah's authoritarian rule and the eventual Islamic Revolution. The coup was driven by Western interests in oil and fears of communism, resulting in decades of repression under the Shah and the rise of SAVAK, a brutal secret police. The 1979 revolution transformed Iran into a theocracy, fostering deep anti-Western sentiment. This history of foreign interference continues to shape Iran's nuclear ambitions and regional tensions, creating a cycle of conflict that persists today.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Mega Thread 🧵 Blowback Nation: How the CIA’s Iran Coup Forged a Theocracy with Nuclear Ambitions

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Operation Ajax – the 1953 Anglo-American coup in Iran – overthrew the democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh, ending Iran’s brief oil nationalization. U.S. and British intelligence orchestrated street riots and bribed officials to topple Mossadegh, largely to restore Western control of Iran’s oil and to prevent a feared tilt toward the Soviet bloc. Source: https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/the%20central%20intelligence%20%5B15369853%5D.pdf

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The motivations were explicit. Mossadegh had nationalized the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (BP today), enraging Britain, and he championed Iranian sovereignty over foreign oil concessions. London lobbied Washington to intervene, framing Mossadegh as a potential gateway for communism in the Cold War climate . In reality, U.K. officials privately admitted Mossadegh’s government was broadly democratic and nationalist but London and the CIA resolved to remove him to protect oil interests and Western hegemony.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

In August 1953, the CIA (led on the ground by Kermit Roosevelt Jr., Theodore Roosevelt’s grandson) and Britain’s MI6 executed the coup (code-named TPAJAX). After an initial failed attempt, royalist military units aided by CIA-funded mobs succeeded on August 19, 1953, in ousting Mossadegh . The Iranian prime minister’s house was shelled by tanks and crowds ransacked Tehran in coordinated chaos. Nearly 300 people died in street clashes as the coup unfolded. Source: https://archive.is/wTpuH

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The coup d’état reinstalled Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi as uncontested monarch. The Shah had fled during the chaos but returned in triumph after Mossadegh’s overthrow, signing royal decrees (firmans) that cemented his power. U.S. Embassy and CIA personnel stood by as Iran’s last popular government was crushed. A CIA internal history, kept secret for decades, later openly admitted the agency “planned and helped implement the coup” in tandem with British intelligence.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

With Mossadegh imprisoned and the Shah back on the Peacock Throne, Iran was transformed into a client regime of the West. The Shah’s autocracy deepened: he quickly became a major purchaser of American weaponry and welcomed foreign oil companies back in. Over the next 25 years, Washington provided massive support from weapons to finance propping up the Shah as an anti-Soviet “pillar” in the Middle East . US officials hailed Iran’s “stability,” while turning a blind eye to growing repression. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

A new secret police, SAVAK, was created in 1957 with close guidance from the CIA and Israel’s Mossad . SAVAK’s agents were schooled in the dark arts of surveillance, interrogation, and torture, earning a fearsome reputation as the Shah’s iron fist. Thousands of political dissidents, from Islamists to leftist students, were rounded up, imprisoned, or worse. Iranians lived in terror of SAVAK, whose American and Israeli-trained operatives routinely tortured and killed regime opponents.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Authoritarian rule under the Shah intensified through the 1960s and ’70s. Despite initiating some modernizing reforms, the Shah brooked no dissent. He banned opposition parties, censored the press, and used oil revenue to enrich a small elite while many Iranians remained in poverty. U.S. officials publicly praised the Shah’s “progressive” leadership even as his prisons filled with journalists, clergy, and activists. This disconnect bred smoldering resentment – a sense that the Shah was a puppet of foreign powers who put Iran’s wealth and destiny in foreign hands. Source: https://www.rferl.org/a/iran-politics-revolution/29752729.html

In Pictures: Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution Forty years ago, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini spearheaded an Islamic Revolution that deposed Iran's shah. The country's authoritarian monarchy was replaced by a repressive theocracy, and almost overnight, Iran was transformed from a crucial U.S. ally to bitter foe. rferl.org

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Decades of pent-up anger exploded in 1978–79. Strikes and demonstrations swept Iran’s cities, uniting Islamists, liberals, and leftists against the Shah’s regime. Protesters chanted “Death to the Shah” and denounced him as a U.S. puppet. Security forces responded with violence – including a notorious massacre on “Black Friday” in Sept 1978 – which only galvanized the opposition. By January 1979, the unrest had grown into a full revolution. The Shah fled into exile, never to return.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

In February 1979, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned from exile to a hero’s welcome, riding the revolutionary wave. The U.S.-backed monarchy collapsed and was replaced by Khomeini’s Islamic Republic. Almost overnight, Iran went from being a crucial American ally to a bitter adversary. Khomeini’s theocracy combined religious rule with fierce anti-Western rhetoric. The new regime wasted no time blaming Iran’s misery on American “imperialism” – starting with the 1953 coup that had “enslaved” Iran to foreign masters.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

That historical memory fueled one of the revolution’s most dramatic events: the 1979 hostage crisis. When the deposed Shah was admitted to the U.S. for medical treatment in November 1979, Iranian students suspected a repeat of 1953, another American plot to restore the Shah. In response, militant students seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and took 52 Americans hostage. Their explicit rationale was that the embassy had been the CIA’s headquarters for the 1953 coup, and they aimed to prevent history from repeating. The hostages were held for 444 days, paraded blindfolded before crowds – a traumatic episode that seared anti-Iran sentiment into the American psyche. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Khomeini’s Iran swiftly pivoted ideologically. The Islamic Republic denounced both the “Great Satan” (the United States) and the “Little Satan” (Israel) as enemies of Islam. This was a stark reversal – under the Shah, Iran had quietly cooperated with Israel and even recognized it diplomatically . But the new regime cast itself as champion of the oppressed, especially the Palestinians. Tehran cut all ties with Israel, turned the former Israeli embassy in Tehran over to the PLO, and inaugurated an annual “Quds Day” of pro-Palestinian rallies . Anti-Western murals and slogans became ubiquitous in Tehran, reflecting a regime narrative of resisting imperialism. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

From 1979 onward, Washington and Tehran treated each other as implacable foes. The U.S. isolated Iran, cutting off diplomatic relations and imposing sanctions that strangled Iran’s economy. In 1980, Saddam Hussein’s Iraq invaded Iran, a bloody war that would last eight years and the U.S. tilted in favor of Iraq, seeing Iran’s new Islamist regime as the greater threat. American intelligence and aid flowed to Saddam, even as he launched chemical attacks that killed thousands of Iranian soldiers and civilians. One U.S. State Department official later acknowledged it was “folly” to support Saddam’s aggression, but at the time Iran’s pleas for help fell on deaf ears.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The Iran-Iraq War (1980–88) was catastrophic for Iran. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians perished in trench warfare and from mustard gas and nerve agents that Saddam unleashed with tacit Western approval. The drawn-out slaughter cemented a siege mentality in Tehran. Traumatized by the war and convinced that the U.S. and its allies would prefer Iran’s destruction, the Islamic Republic’s hardliners gained the upper hand. Revolutionary leaders like Khamenei (now Supreme Leader) doubled down on developing deterrents both conventional and unconventional to prevent Iran from ever being so vulnerable again. The Iran Case: Addressing Why Countries Want Nuclear Weapons | Arms Control Association armscontrol.org

n the war’s wake, Iran began cultivating regional proxies as a forward defense. During the 1980s, Iran helped form and arm Hezbollah in Lebanon (especially once Israel invaded Lebanon in 1982). Tehran also supported groups opposing Israel and pro-U.S. regimes, from Palestinian militants to later the Houthis in Yemen. The goal was clear: extend Iran’s strategic depth and counter Israel’s and America’s regional influence. “Wherever Israel looks, it sees Iran on its border,” an analyst noted – not because Iran seeks war, but because it wants to deter the U.S. or Israel from attacking by raising the costs. In effect, Iran built a network of militias as its insurance policy against regime change. Source: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2024/04/16/iran-israel-attack-shadow-war/

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

While buttressing proxy forces abroad, Iran also pursued a more controversial insurance policy at home: a nuclear program. Ironically, this effort had begun under the Shah with U.S. encouragement – the American government in the 1970s actively aided the Shah’s plan to build nuclear reactors . After the revolution, those plans were stalled and Iran’s nuclear work was modest. But by the mid-1990s, facing U.S. sanctions and open talk of overthrowing the Islamic Republic, Tehran quietly accelerated nuclear research. Iranian leaders saw what happened to countries without a deterrent – Iraq under Saddam, Libya’s Gaddafi – and drew a lesson that a nuclear capability might ward off foreign attack. U.S. officials, for their part, often painted Iran’s nuclear ambitions as irrational aggression. But internal analyses acknowledged Iran’s logic: Tehran had legitimate security fears. The U.S. had a “dual containment” policy to weaken Iran (and Iraq) and openly funded Iranian exile groups seeking regime change . President George W. Bush’s 2002 “Axis of Evil” speech pointedly included Iran – right after the U.S. had invaded two countries next door (Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003). American forces now ringed Iran on nearly every side . Facing this encirclement, even some Western observers admitted Iran had “objective basis” for feeling threatened . In this light, Iran’s interest in nuclear deterrence was a bid to ensure its survival, however dangerous the proliferation risk. Source: https://www.cato.org/sites/cato.org/files/pubs/pdf/fpb033.pdf

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

By the early 2000s, the Iran-Israel standoff centered on Iran’s nuclear advances. Israel, which had secretly built its own nuclear arsenal, vowed it would never allow Iran to obtain the bomb. The standoff saw a shadow war intensify. Iranian nuclear scientists began dying in mysterious explosions and shootings – at least four were assassinated between 2010 and 2012, operations widely attributed to Israel’s Mossad. A joint U.S.-Israeli cyberattack in 2010, known as Stuxnet, sabotaged Iranian centrifuges and temporarily set back the enrichment program . In 2011, an unexplained blast killed the architect of Iran’s missile program; in 2020, a top nuclear scientist (Mohsen Fakhrizadeh) was ambushed and killed in broad daylight . These covert attacks aimed to delay Iran’s progress without sparking full-scale war. Source: https://www.wired.com/2014/11/countdown-to-zero-day-stuxnet/

Amid this pressure, Iran and global powers signed the JCPOA (nuclear deal) in 2015. Tehran agreed to strict limits on enrichment and intrusive inspections, dramatically rolling back its nuclear capacities . In return, it received sanctions relief. The deal was working – Iran’s compliance was verified repeatedly by UN inspectors. But hardliners in Washington and Tel Aviv railed against the accord. In 2018, President Trump unilaterally quit the JCPOA and reimposed sanctions, despite Iran’s adherence . This U.S. withdrawal – cheered by Iran hawks – blew up a rare diplomatic success. Iran began rebuilding its nuclear stockpile in response, and tensions soared again. Source: https://archive.is/4Lro2

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Since then, Israel has escalated its sabotage campaign. Mysterious explosions rocked Iran’s Natanz enrichment site in 2020 and 2021, knocking out critical equipment . Israeli leaders openly boast of acting to prevent “another Holocaust,” while clandestinely hitting Iranian targets. The United States, meanwhile, has kept piling on sanctions and military pressure. In January 2020, a U.S. drone strike assassinated Iranian General Qassem Soleimani – the architect of Iran’s regional strategy – as he visited Iraq, nearly triggering direct war. Iran retaliated with missile strikes on a U.S. base in Iraq, but the cycle of provocation continues. Today, hardliners on all sides cite these attacks to justify further aggression, trapping both nations in a dangerous impasse. Through proxy wars and brinksmanship, Iran and Israel now confront each other across the Middle East. In Syria, Israeli jets have bombed Iranian advisors and arms convoys to Hezbollah. In Yemen and Iraq, Iran’s allied militias occasionally target U.S. and Israeli interests. Israel, with backing from Washington (over $3 billion in annual U.S. military aid), has insisted it will preemptively strike Iran rather than let it obtain nuclear weapons. This week they’ve kept their promise. While Iranian leaders, for their part, vow “resistance” until U.S. and Israeli dominance recedes. Each side portrays the other as an existential threat, leaving little space for dialogue. Now we stand at the precipice of an escalation that could spell disaster for all of those involved unless cooler heads can prevail. However judging from past events, that seems highly unlikely. Seven decades after the 1953 coup, the legacy of Western interference still poisons Iran’s relations with the world. The CIA’s toppling of Mossadegh – motivated by oil and geostrategy – set in motion a cascade: an authoritarian Shah, a repressive backlash in the form of an Islamic Revolution, and an enduring climate of mistrust and hostility. Iranians have never forgotten that foreign powers robbed them of self-determination, and hardliners exploit that history to shore up their rule. Likewise, Americans and Israelis scarred by 1979 and security threats see Iran as implacably aggressive. The result is a dangerous standoff – one rooted not in age-old hatred, but in blowback from covert ops and tyranny. A 2017 declassified review by the U.S. government itself concluded that the 1953 coup “poisoned” Iran’s feelings toward the West and fueled the Islamist surge of 1979. The US-Israel-Iran Triangle's Tangled History Exclusive: Iran and world powers have gone into double-overtime in negotiations to ensure that Iran doesn’t build a nuclear bomb, but the shadow over the talks is darkened by decades of distrust and double-dealing, a dimly understood history of the U.S.-Israeli-Iranian triangle, reports Robert consortiumnews.com

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Today’s nuclear crisis and regional tensions are a direct consequence of this troubled history. The lesson is stark: meddling in other nations’ affairs, propping up dictators or sabotaging agreements, can create a blowback that lasts generations. Ending the cycle will require honesty about that past and a break with the “might makes right” mindset that started it all.

In a 1988 ABC News interview, Anthony Fauci discussed AZT as a potential AIDS treatment, despite its toxic history as a cancer drug. Originally shelved due to severe side effects, AZT was repurposed for AIDS, leading to a surge in deaths among patients. I draw parallels to the pandemic, where Remdesivir, another drug with a troubled past, was used despite warnings. Fauci labeled AZT "safe and effective," ignoring known side effects like bone marrow suppression and liver toxicity, raising questions about the motivations behind these medical decisions.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

A 1988 interview with Anthony Fauci in ABC News. You can’t hear the interviewer’s questions in it but I think that actually allows you see what an operator he has been for so long. He is being interviewed about AZT that at the time, he was beginning to tout as a potential treatment for AIDS. AZT was originally going to be used as a cancer drug 1960’s. It was part of a class of drugs designed to interfere with cell replication, a characteristic feature of cancer. However, in these initial studies, AZT was found to be extremely toxic to the human bodies and was subsequently shelved. Why not repurpose it by giving it to people with extremely compromised immune systems right? Makes total sense. It’s amazing that deaths from aids skyrocketed after AZT was unleashed on those diagnosed with “AIDS”. It’s almost as if they knew it would be virtually impossible to distinguish whether it was AIDS or the medication. I’m sensing a familiar script. Just like with the pandemic we had Remdesivir, an antiviral drug, that was initially developed for the treatment of hepatitis C and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). It’s was a failure for those things and it was then used for Ebola and the trials had to be stopped because it was killing people. Even the WHO said it shouldn’t be used for covid but it was FDA approved for it. Same script different decade. Here is a list of some of the known side effects of AZT that by the way, was known at the time of this interview. He knew about them and yet listen to how he calls it “safe and effective”. Bone Marrow Suppression: AZT can lead to a decrease in the production of red and white blood cells, which can cause anemia and neutropenia. Mitochondrial Toxicity: Long-term use of AZT can damage the mitochondria, the energy-producing parts of cells. This can lead to muscle weakness, fatigue, and lactic acidosis. Gastrointestinal Issues: Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are common side effects. Headaches and Insomnia Lipodystrophy: Changes in body fat distribution, such as thinning of the face, arms, and legs, with increased fat around the abdomen and back of the neck. Liver Toxicity: AZT can cause elevated liver enzymes and, in rare cases, severe liver damage. No biggie, totally safe and effective. In fact so safe and effective it didn’t work for the first couple things it was supposed to be used for.

AZT is the only drug available because it's the only one proven safe and effective in scientific trials. While progress may seem slow, many drugs are in clinical trials. These trials aim to determine their safety and effectiveness. Drugs in trial include Alpha interferon, dideoxycytidine, phos carnate, and al seven twenty one, either alone or with AZT. The virus is spreading heterosexually, but not as explosively as in the homosexual population years ago. Complacency should be avoided. In the US, heterosexual spread is concentrated among IV drug abusers and their partners, particularly in areas like Manhattan, South Bronx, New Jersey, and Miami. Speaker 0: Well, the reason that only one drug has been made available, AZT, because it's the only drug that thus far has been shown in scientifically controlled trials to be safe and effective. It isn't the question of there are lot of drugs around and only one is being released. That's the only one that has been shown to be effective. Well, first of all, it's certainly understandable when you're dealing with a frustrating and very difficult situation such as particularly if you're someone who has the disease or is afraid of getting the disease that things are moving too slow. In fact, we always want things to go more quickly. If you look at the clinical trials that are going on now, there are a number of drugs that are in clinical trial. Hopefully they will be expeditiously shown to either be safe and effective or will be discarded because they're proven not to be safe and effective. But things are moving along. It's understandable how there's always the perception that things are going slow and I think that just reflects the very difficult nature of the disease and the emotional charged nature of it. Oh, absolutely you can. You can always make things quicker and that's what we're trying to do is constantly re evaluating, getting outside consultants, re evaluating our own approach approaches that can possibly be changed. We never are complacent to say, yes, this is the best it can be. You can always do things better and that's what we're trying to do. Well, there are a number of drugs that are in trial now. It's difficult to say that one is more promising than the other and that's the reason for the trial to determine if they're promising. Alpha interferon is one, dideoxycytidine is another, phos carnate, al seven twenty one, all of these are in trial either alone or in combination with AZT. There are several of them now. Well, it's a double edged sword. First of all, the virus can and is being spread heterosexually. That's on the one hand. On the other hand, it certainly is not spreading in that explosive way that we saw it was spreading through the homosexual population a few years ago. So on the one hand you don't want to be complacent because of that because you know that if you let your guard down and feel that you do not need to be careful, don't have to worry about sexual practices or safe sex or what have you, then what you might see is an increase in cases in the general population. I might point out that the predominant spread into the heterosexual population in this country, in The United States, is predominantly around the HIV drug abusing population and their heterosexual partners. So if you look for example in Manhattan, in South Bronx, in New Jersey or in Miami where there's a high concentration of IV drug abuses, the heterosexual spread is focused in those areas with high IV drug abusing populations. Yes? Yeah. Sure. Well, I think if you ask virtually any scientist who's involved in this area, his claims are really extraordinary. They're way off base. He puts forth a negative hypothesis. He says everything you've heard is wrong, but I'm not going to give you any alternative. It's really unfortunate because what he's doing, he's creating a tremendous amount of anxiety in the people who are infected because they think that there's some conspiracy among scientists against them. It really is very unfortunate. And coming from him who has, he has some qualifications or something happened to him in his thinking over the past couple of years. I don't know what it is. You're welcome. Okay. Okay.

Bono, the lead singer of U2, has cultivated a vast network of connections that intertwine entertainment, politics, and global power. His political awakening began in 1979 with Amnesty International, leading to the establishment of influential organizations like DATA and the ONE Campaign, which align closely with U.S. foreign policy. Bono's partnerships with billionaires and corporations, alongside his access to high-level government officials, raise questions about his true impact. Critics argue that his celebrity status may serve as a cover for deeper influence operations, suggesting a complex relationship with global power structures.

The extensive global network of connections maintained by Paul David Hewson, better known as Bono, the lead singer of Irish rock band U2, reveals a complex web of relationships spanning non-governmental organizations, world leaders, billionaire philanthropists, and likely intelligence agencies. He has positioned himself at the intersection of entertainment, politics, and global power structures, raising questions about the true nature and scope of his influence operations.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The genesis of Bono's political awakening can be traced to 1979, when he attended one of the Secret Policeman's Ball benefit shows organized by Monty Python's John Cleese for Amnesty International. Bono later stated that this experience "became a part of me" and "sowed a seed," suggesting that his exposure to celebrity activism at this formative moment established a template he would later adopt and expand upon.

This early influence by Amnesty International, an organization with documented connections to Western intelligence services, represents the first link in what would become an extensive chain of relationships with politically sensitive entities. For instance, here is a bit about the current secretary general to give you an idea of milieu: “The current secretary general of Amnesty International, Agnes Callamard, previously served for a decade as executive director of ARTICLE 19, an organization that purports to be dedicated to “defending freedom of expression and information,” but in reality serves as a tool of Western foreign-policy interests. ARTICLE 19 is funded by a who’s who of Western regime-change front groups and CIA cutouts, including the US State Department, National Endowment for Democracy (NED), USAID, Freedom House, British Foreign Office, Canadian government, European Commission, Ford Foundation, and Open Society Foundations.” https://geopoliticaleconomy.com/2022/03/17/human-rights-ngo-hrw-amnesty-us-government/

The Development of NGO Infrastructure In 2002, Bono co-founded DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade, Africa) alongside Bobby Shriver, establishing what would become the cornerstone of his influence network. The organization's funding sources immediately reveal connections to major power centers: the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, George Soros, and Edward W. Scott a former DOJ official and founder of BEA Systems provided the initial financial backing. This funding structure is particularly significant, as it demonstrates Bono's early integration into networks controlled by some of the world's most influential billionaires. DATA's mission encompassed debt relief, AIDS treatment, trade reform, and African development, all areas that intersect directly with U.S. foreign policy interests and economic priorities. The organization's scope effectively positioned Bono as an informal diplomatic channel, capable of operating in regions and contexts where traditional government representatives might face limitations or scrutiny. The ONE Campaign: Scaling Global Influence Building upon DATA's foundation, Bono and Shriver co-founded the ONE Campaign in 2004, with the explicit aim of eliminating extreme poverty and disease in Africa through citizen mobilization. In October 2007, it was announced that DATA and the One Campaign would merge in the United States under the single organization "One". The organization received a $3 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, reinforcing the financial dependency on billionaire philanthropy networks. This funding relationship effectively embedded Bono's operations within the broader Gates Foundation ecosystem, which maintains extensive relationships with government agencies and international institutions. The ONE Campaign's approach of building "citizen support" for policy changes represents a sophisticated form of grassroots manufacturing, where celebrity influence is used to generate apparent public demand for specific policy outcomes. The organization's current membership of 9 million people, including 3 million in Africa, demonstrates the scale of this influence operation. A 2018 internal whistleblower complaint revealed that ONE’s Johannesburg office had a “toxic” work environment, featuring instances of sexual harassment, bullying, and lack of accountability by senior managers. ONE’s advocacy has often been entwined with official campaigns: it worked alongside UK’s Make Poverty History coalition in 2005 and supported G8 initiatives like the Global Fund and the Gates backed GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines). The ability to mobilize such numbers provides Bono and his network with significant leverage in political negotiations and policy discussions. (RED): Corporate Partnership Framework In 2006, Bono expanded his influence network through the creation of (RED), an organization that partners with major corporations to raise funds for AIDS treatment in Africa. The corporate partners include American Express, Apple, Converse, Motorola, Microsoft, Dell, The Gap, Giorgio Armani, Nike, and Starbucks, a roster that reads like a directory of major American multinational corporations. The (RED) model is particularly sophisticated in its approach to influence operations. As of December 2020, (RED) had generated $650 million for HIV/AIDS programs.

The Gates Foundation Ecosystem Bono's relationship with Bill Gates represents one of the most significant elements of his power network. The partnership, which Gates describes as making them "big partners in crime," extends far beyond simple philanthropic collaboration. Gates said L.A. that he initially resisted meeting Bono but became "amazed that he actually knew what he was talking about and had a real commitment to making things happen". @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The financial integration between Bono's organizations and the Gates Foundation creates a dependency relationship that effectively embeds Bono within one of the world's most influential philanthropic networks. The Gates Foundation's funding of DATA, ONE Campaign, and related initiatives ensures that Bono's operations align with Gates Foundation priorities, which often intersect with U.S. government policy objectives. Hell, it landed him on the cover of Time with Billy and his now ex-wife. His ex-wife I might add, because of his association with sexual deviant Jeffrey Epstein who definitely killed himself in prison. 😉

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Bono's acknowledgment that "I couldn't do anything that I do without the Gates Foundation" reveals the extent of this dependency. This financial relationship effectively positions Bono as an operational arm of the Gates Foundation's global health and development agenda, providing celebrity legitimacy and grassroots mobilization capabilities that complement the Foundation's policy and funding operations.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Beyond Gates, Bono maintains documented relationships with other members of the global billionaire class. His friendship with Warren Buffett, demonstrated through his 2013 serenade performance at the Forbes Summit on Philanthropy, illustrates his integration into elite philanthropic circles. The summit itself, attended by "150 billionaires, near-billionaires, philanthropists and leading social entrepreneurs," represents the kind of exclusive gathering where policy directions are often informally coordinated. Bono's access to the highest levels of the U.S. government is extensively documented and reveals a pattern of sustained engagement across multiple presidential administrations. His meetings with Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers and Republican politicians including Jesse Helms, John Kasich, Orrin Hatch, J. Dennis Hastert, and Dick Armey demonstrate bipartisan access that transcends normal celebrity advocacy.

The relationship with President George W. Bush represents a particularly significant example of Bono's influence capabilities. During a March 2002 White House visit, Bono successfully lobbied Bush to provide financial assistance to developing countries. The following year, Bush signed legislation authorizing the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program. Bush explicitly told Bono that the initiative "never would have made it out of Congress had [Bono] not been engaged," providing direct confirmation of Bono's policy influence.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Bush was quoted as saying to Bono: “The first time I met you, you knew more statistics, like you were coming right out of the CIA.” What an odd thing to say George.🤔 Source: mintpressnews.com/frontman-empir…

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

This level of access and documented policy impact suggests that Bono functions as more than a celebrity advocate, he operates as an informal diplomatic channel with the ability to shape major foreign policy initiatives. The PEPFAR program alone represents a multi-billion dollar commitment that aligns directly with U.S. strategic interests in Africa, including health security, political stability, and regional influence.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

International Government Engagement Bono's international government connections extend far beyond the United States, demonstrating a global network of official relationships. His 2015 visit to Canada included meetings with Prime Minister Stephen Harper and opposition leaders from the Liberal and NDP parties. The Canadian government's description of Bono's visit as focusing on "maternal and child health projects in Africa and elsewhere" indicates ongoing collaboration on international development programs. One of the most revealing meetings is Bono's 2010 rendezvous with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at the president's Sochi residence. During this encounter, conducted in "an informal setting," Medvedev praised Bono's "social activity" and noted that "caring about people is not only the job of politicians". You know because Russian politicians are so well known for their caring nature. Bono's response emphasized his role as "a student of Russia" and his interest in Russian "leadership on tackling some of the great problems in the world". A messianic complex of I’ve ever seen one. Bono’s proximity to elite global power forums like the World Economic Forum in Davos and the Bilderberg Group further reveals his deep entanglement with the architects of modern neoliberalism. At Davos 2019, when confronted by anti-capitalist protesters, Bono flatly declared, “Capitalism is not immoral. It’s amoral. It requires our instruction.” In that same appearance, he praised partnerships with billionaires and multinational corporations as essential to solving global poverty, a claim critics argue serves as moral cover for extractive economic models that reinforce inequality. Bono’s logic mirrors that of the Davos class: wealth is not the problem, only the distribution of responsibility. Moreover, Bono has been a confirmed attendee of Bilderberg meetings, which bring together government officials, central bankers, intelligence-linked technocrats, and select media gatekeepers to conduct policy discussions behind closed doors, with no public accountability whatsoever. Have a look at the 2023 participant list to get an idea of who he is running elbows with: https://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/meetings/meeting-2023/participants-2023 His inclusion in these opaque forums illustrates that he is not merely adjacent to global power, he is embedded within its inner sanctums. In this context, Bono’s role becomes clear: not a critic of empire, but one of its most polished emissaries.

Let’s break it down a bit further in case you may still be skeptical. Bono's operational profile exhibits numerous characteristics consistent with intelligence asset recruitment and utilization. His extensive international travel, high-level government access, NGO infrastructure, and corporate networks create an ideal platform for intelligence collection and influence operations. His organizations operate in regions of significant strategic interest to Western intelligence services, including Africa, where competition with China and Russia for influence has intensified in recent decades. The health and development focus of his work provides natural cover for operations in countries where traditional diplomatic or commercial presence might be limited or scrutinized. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a primary funder, maintains extensive relationships with government agencies and has been criticized for its influence on global health policy. George Soros, another documented funder, operates Open Society Foundations with acknowledged connections to U.S. foreign policy objectives.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The corporate partnership model developed through (RED) creates additional potential channels for intelligence service involvement. Major corporations like Apple, Microsoft, and American Express maintain extensive relationships with intelligence agencies through various programs and partnerships. The integration of these corporations into Bono's influence network could facilitate intelligence service access to his operations and platforms. His celebrity status provides natural cover for such interactions, making them appear routine rather than operationally significant.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

To top it all off, the January 2025 announcement that Bono would receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Biden represents the highest level of U.S. government recognition for his activities. The medal, awarded to individuals who have made "exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors," explicitly acknowledges Bono's contribution to U.S. security interests. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Final Thoughts The use of celebrities in covert influence campaigns is nothing new. From the OSS’s wartime collaborations with Hollywood to Cold War psy-ops masked as pop culture, the entertainment industry has long doubled as a delivery mechanism for state-sanctioned narratives. Celebrities provide what spies covet: reach, trust, and cover. Their movements are rarely questioned; their messaging, often absorbed uncritically. So when a rock star becomes a globe-trotting humanitarian with open-door access to presidents, tech titans, and war zones, the question isn’t whether it’s admirable but whether it’s engineered. Because in the long history of soft power, celebrity is not just a spotlight. It’s a tool. In the end, the man who preached justice from tax havens and courted tyrants in the name of charity wasn’t changing the world, he was selling it.

I’ve been exploring the complex relationship between USAID and Chemonics International, a major contractor in global development. Chemonics, which has received billions from USAID, faces serious allegations of fraud, mismanagement, and ties to unethical practices. Despite its employee-owned status, the company has a troubled history marked by scandals, including discrimination lawsuits and data breaches. The narrative reveals a systemic issue where taxpayer dollars are funneled into private pockets under the guise of foreign aid, often failing to benefit the local populations in crisis.

🧵 The truth about USAID and their number one contractor Chemonics International

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Chemonics International is one of the biggest U.S. government contractors in “global development” raking in billions from USAID. But behind the glossy reports are fraud allegations, mismanagement, and ties to shady dealings.

What is Chemonics? A Washington, D.C.-based development firm operating in 100+ countries. Its focus? Health, agriculture, governance, economic development. But its real business? Winning USAID contracts. In 2019 alone, it received $1.5 billion in USAID funding aka taxpayer’s money. https://chemonics.com

The story of USAID and Chemonics is not just about waste or mismanagement, it’s about a systemic racket that funnels billions of taxpayer dollars into private pockets under the guise of “foreign aid.” Haiti’s post-earthquake reconstruction laid bare the entire playbook of disaster capitalism: •USAID awarded Chemonics multi-billion-dollar contracts, despite a track record of failures, delays, and outright fraud. •Less than 1% of USAID funds went to Haitian-led organizations, while Chemonics and other Beltway contractors kept the lion’s share. •From rigged elections to botched aid distribution, USAID and its contractors shaped Haiti’s reconstruction in a way that benefited foreign elites while leaving Haitians in deeper crisis. The Clintons have played a major role in this racket worldwide. And this isn’t just Haiti. From Afghanistan to Ukraine, the USAID-Chemonics machine operates the same way, exploiting crises to justify endless contracts while delivering little to nothing. The U.S. foreign aid system isn’t about “helping”, it’s about maintaining control, dependency, and corporate profit. The next time a disaster strikes and some USG agencies is tasked with swooping in with billions, ask where that money is really going—because history tells us it’s not going to the people who need it most. Your tax dollars at work.

I’ve been looking into International Relief and Development, now Blumont, which has significantly profited from taxpayer money, primarily through USAID. Despite its nonprofit label, it has a troubling history of financial mismanagement, including excessive executive pay and questionable spending on lavish events. Former USAID employees frequently transition to IRD, raising concerns about conflicts of interest. Reports suggest that IRD's projects in Iraq and Afghanistan often lacked oversight and accountability, leading to allegations of fraud and ineffective use of funds. This situation reflects broader issues in humanitarian aid, where bureaucratic interests may overshadow genuine public benefit.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

🧵 Another contractor who’ve made their money from taxpayers that’s little known to the public is International Relief and Development, now Blumont. By 2011 over 80% of its $500 million annual budget was sourced from USAID, becoming one of their largest “nonprofit” contractors.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

However, beneath its philanthropic facade lies a history of financial mismanagement and exorbitant executive compensation. A WaPo investigation found that between 2008 and 21012 Dr. Arthur B. Keys Jr., IRD’s founder and CEO, along with his wife, Jasna Basaric-Keys, who served as COO, reportedly pocketed a combined $4.4 million in salary and bonuses. Definitely no conflicts of interest there.🙄 Source: https://archive.is/757Zb

In 2015, revelations emerged that IRD had billed the U.S. government a staggering $1.1 million for staff parties and retreats at exclusive resorts. Source: https://archive.is/s3kDg

IRD routinely hired individuals who previously worked for USAID, including former acting administrator Alonzo Fulgham. By 2014, at least 19 former USAID employees had joined IRD, some of whom were previously responsible for overseeing the organization. “Former USAID employees are not supposed to take part in programs in which they had responsibilities at the agency, and IRD said, like other contractors say, that these former staffers were hired for their “expertise,” not their “connections,” but that’s pretty hard to imagine, especially when some of those going through the revolving door were high-level USAID administrators.”

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Employees who left IRD were asked to sign confidentiality agreements stipulating that they could be sued for making disparaging remarks about the organization. Such practices potentially violate whistleblower protections and hinder transparency. Source: https://www.devex.com/news/us-afghanistan-watchdog-looks-into-ird-confidentiality-agreements-83435/amp

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Their financial transformation is staggering. IRD’s annual revenue ballooned from a modest $1.2 million to an eye-watering $706 million. Over the years, the nonprofit amassed $1.9 billion in grants and cooperative agreements—mostly from one source: USAID.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

But there’s more to the story. Former government auditors and ex-employees claim that in the perilous war zones of Baghdad and Kabul, IRD managed hundreds of millions in taxpayer funds with “little meaningful oversight” from USAID. Source: https://www.brookings.edu/articles/four-ways-usaid-must-reform-its-procurement-practices-the-tip-of-the-iceberg/

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

In Afghanistan, IRD’s involvement wasn’t any cleaner. One agricultural program started as a $60 million initiative to boost wheat production and morphed within three years into a $470 million project its impact on stability as murky as the program’s financial trails. “The cooperative agreement was broadened at the urging of the military and Richard C. Holbrooke, the then-special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan. It was transformed from one that funded a program that helped farmers grow wheat into one that bought farm tools and paid numerous laborers for a series of small jobs, including the clearing of canals, to help stabilize the southern Helmand and Kandahar provinces of Afghanistan.” USAID news releases lauded the program as an alternative to food handouts and said it was stabilizing those provinces in Afghanistan. But auditors criticized the project, and Eikenberry said it spent too much money and had questionable impact. “Once the decision was made, we threw efficiency out the window,” he recalled. “Some of the districts were awash in cash. The projects were not properly scaled, and they were overly ambitious.” Sources: https://archive.is/757Zb https://2012-2017.usaid.gov/node/50906

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Then came the road-building project: a $317 million effort in southeastern Afghanistan designed to connect villages and create jobs. With 900 miles of road planned, the project became mired in delays, security challenges, and allegations of “kickbacks and bribery.” “Three years and nearly $270 million later, less than 100 miles of gravel road have been completed, according to American officials. More than 125 people were killed and 250 others were wounded in insurgent attacks aimed at derailing the project, USAID said. The agency shut down the road-building effort in December.” Source: https://archive.is/FokRX

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

One can’t help but see IRD as a microcosm of a larger problem: the transformation of humanitarian endeavors into sprawling bureaucratic projects where accountability is elusive and self-interest often trumps the public good. A 2024 congressional research service report states: “Of the $181.5 billion in foreign assistance obligations for projects by USAID from FY2013 to 2022, NGOs implemented $109.8 billion (60%).” So over a period of 9 years your taxes were used to enrich “non-profit’s” most of which are in your country. All with abysmal oversight with rampant fraud and abuse. Let me repeat that: $181.5 billion in 9 years. Just take a moment and think about how that money could have been spent to help fix the immense problems this country faces instead of being given to an Aid-Industrial-Complex used for statecraft and personal enrichment. I shared the disturbing story of PolyHeme, an artificial blood substitute developed by Northfield Laboratories in the 1980s. This led to shocking medical ethics violations, where hundreds of Americans were tested without consent. The Pentagon's interest in PolyHeme for military use drove the exploitation of a loophole allowing research on unconscious patients. Despite alarming trial results showing increased deaths and complications, Northfield continued the trials. Ultimately, the FDA rejected PolyHeme, highlighting the dangers of prioritizing corporate profit and military interests over ethical standards.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Thread 🧵 Un-Informed Consent: The Story of Polyheme Every once in a while you come across a true story that that leaves you dumbfounded and disturbed, revealing a glimpse of actual evil, not some abstract concept you read about in a book. This is one of those stories.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

In the 1980s, Illinois company Northfield Laboratories began developing PolyHeme - an artificial blood substitute that promised to revolutionize battlefield medicine What followed was one of the most shocking medical ethics violations in modern history, where hundreds of Americans became test subjects without their knowledge or consent.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

PolyHeme was the Pentagon's dream: a shelf-stable, universal blood substitute that could save soldiers' lives in combat zones where real blood wasn't available. The Department of Defense was so interested they provided funding to support its development, viewing it as a strategic military asset. The 1992 Report of the Pentagons commitment to investing in artificial blood: https://www.onr.navy.mil/media/document/1992rptartificialbloodpdf

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

But early trials revealed alarming dangers. In a 1998-2000 study of heart surgery patients, 10 out of 81 people who received PolyHeme suffered heart attacks, and 2 died within a week. The control group given real blood had ZERO such complications. “It halted that study and has not published the full results, but Northfield Chairman Steven Gould said PolyHeme didn't cause the heart attacks or disproportionately more deaths. He said the study was stopped because enrollment was declining and the company wanted to focus on trauma research.” Source: https://www.deseret.com/2006/3/7/19941986/2-hospitals-stop-synthetic-blood-test/#:~:text=Testing%20was%20halted%20Feb,given%20real%20blood%20did%20not

2 hospitals stop synthetic-blood test Two Utah hospitals have ended their participation in a national clinical study in which synthetic blood is administered to some trauma patients. deseret.com

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Here's where it gets sinister: Northfield "quietly" halted the trial and chose NOT to publish the full results. Internal FDA memos called the cardiac outcomes "alarming," yet regulators - mindful of Pentagon interests - allowed development to continue. To test PolyHeme on trauma patients, Northfield exploited a little-known FDA loophole: the Exception from Informed Consent (EFIC) rule. This regulation allows research on unconscious patients in emergencies WITHOUT their consent - essentially suspending a core tenet of medical ethics. Here is a link to the Code of Federal Regulations EFIC rule: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-21/chapter-I/subchapter-A/part-50/subpart-B/section-50.24

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The EFIC loophole worked like this: Northfield held token public meetings (with predictably low turnout), distributed opt-out bracelets, then assumed EVERYONE ELSE consented to be a test subject. As Senator Charles Grassley put it, this made "every citizen a potential guinea pig." From 2004-2006, the no-consent trial rolled out across 27 cities and 23 hospitals. Major sites included San Diego, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, and others. ANY adult trauma patient in these areas could be enrolled without knowing it in advance. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Waiver of Consent in Medical Procedure Research Clinical trials for the blood substitute PolyHeme exposed the possibility for ambiguous interpretation of the FDA’s waiver of informed consent for emergency research. journalofethics.ama-assn.org

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The most disturbing part? Even at hospitals, PolyHeme patients continued receiving the artificial blood for up to 12 hours before getting real blood. This meant deliberately withholding proven therapy from injured people without their consent. Northfield's own admission was telling: despite claiming "extensive community outreach," they acknowledged that "a vast majority of the general public has never heard of the trial." Only a small number of residents obtained opt-out bracelets. Everything changed on February 22, 2006, when The Wall Street Journal published "Amid Alarm Bells, a Blood Substitute Keeps Pumping" - exposing the hidden heart attack data from the earlier trial. The medical ethics community erupted in outrage. Source: https://archive.is/bawnl

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Within days of the WSJ exposé, Utah hospitals suspended their participation. CBS News ran "Ethicists Blast Synthetic Blood Test." Senator Grassley fired off a scathing letter to the FDA calling the situation "outrageous" and "disturbing." Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ethicists-blast-synthetic-blood-test/

Ethicists Blast Synthetic Blood Test Study Gives Fake Blood To Trauma Patients Without Consent cbsnews.com

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Grassley's letter captured the absurdity perfectly: "No reasonable person would expect to be treated as an experimental subject without consent," yet the FDA had created a system where Americans had to wear "I decline the PolyHeme" wristbands to avoid involuntary enrollment. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Throughout the controversy, Northfield CEO Dr. Steven Gould doubled down, insisting there was "no attempt at secrecy" and that PolyHeme "didn't cause the heart attacks." The profit motive was clear: after 20 years and $100+ million with no approved products, the company's survival depended on PolyHeme's success. When trial results came in December 2006, they were devastating. The Chicago Tribune headline said it all: "Blood substitute 'a disaster' in trial." 46 of 349 PolyHeme patients died (13.2%) vs. 35 of 363 control patients (9.6%) - 11 MORE deaths in the experimental group. Source: https://archive.is/M9lGX

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The data showed PolyHeme provided NO survival benefit, didn't significantly reduce blood usage, and was associated with more medical complications including heart attacks. Hundreds of people had been exposed to an experimental product without consent - for nothing. @JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

In April 2009, the FDA definitively rejected PolyHeme, stating "risks of the product outweigh its benefits." Northfield shut down shortly after, having spent 20 years and $200 million with nothing but a notorious failed trial to show for it. FDA rejects Northfield's blood substitute Northfield's long and difficult quest to win approval for the blood substitute PolyHeme was dealt another blow today as the FDA rejected the company's drug. Risks of the blood product outweigh its fiercebiotech.com

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The Pentagon's involvement raises disturbing questions about how military priorities influenced civilian medical research. Defense officials were eager to see if PolyHeme could keep soldiers alive, and this urgency arguably permeated the trial's approval process. The FDA tightened EFIC guidance after 2006, but the loophole remains. Some analysts call for revisiting these regulations entirely, worried that the PolyHeme trial exploited loopholes in ways regulators never envisioned. This scandal exemplifies what bioethicist Dr. Robert Nelson noted: "just because you can do research without consent doesn't always mean you should." The Exception from Informed Consent rule was meant for genuine emergencies, not corporate profit schemes. Blood substitutes- the polyheme trials pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

In closing, the PolyHeme trials were evil because they knowingly exposed unwitting American citizens to a dangerous experimental blood substitute without their informed consent, exploiting a legal loophole (EFIC) to bypass ethics. Northfield Laboratories and the FDA withheld critical safety data, including deaths and heart attacks from earlier trials, and then deliberately delayed real blood transfusions in trauma patients to preserve the integrity of their study. The result? More people died in the experimental group—and no one was held accountable. It was a grotesque fusion of corporate greed, government complicity, and medical betrayal. This story matters because it shows how easily our rights can be suspended in the name of "innovation" and "national security." Sound familiar? COVID anyone? The bottom line is that when corporations and government agencies collaborate to bypass informed consent, ordinary citizens pay the price and that price is evil.

I discuss social balkanization, where populations are intentionally fragmented into hostile subgroups, losing a shared narrative and national identity. This strategic division deepens along lines of race, class, ideology, and more, making cohesion impossible and conflict likely. A fractured society struggles to organize or demand accountability. The term originates from the geopolitical fragmentation of Yugoslavia, influenced by Western powers. Today, I question how much of our online divisions are organic versus engineered by algorithms to prevent unity against those in power.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Social balkanization is the process by which a population is deliberately or organically fragmented into hostile, insular subgroups that no longer share a common narrative, culture, or sense of national identity. It’s not just division, it’s strategic division, where the fractures are deepened along lines of race, class, ideology, religion, gender, or even conspiracy belief systems until cohesion becomes impossible and conflict becomes inevitable. A population so fractured it can’t organize, can’t resist, and can’t agree on anything long enough to demand accountability. Ironically, the term “balkanization” comes from actual Balkan geopolitics, where Western powers repeatedly fractured Yugoslavia, backing different factions like the Croats, Bosniaks and Kosovars to suit NATO’s aims. Today, the battlefield is digital, so how much of our online tribal warfare is truly grassroots, and how much is the algorithmic engineering of domestic balkanization, designed to keep us too divided to unite against those in power?

In 2024, the H5N1 bird flu virus jumped from wild birds to cows, shocking virus experts. The virus has since spread rapidly through US dairy herds and poultry flocks, infecting other mammals, including 70 Americans, one of whom died. Some experts claim the Biden administration was slow to respond, while the Trump administration laid off over 100 scientists. The virus spreads easily via milking equipment, and workers have also become infected. Experts fear the virus's pandemic potential, especially given its high mortality rate in past outbreaks. Testing was slow to start, and some states still test infrequently. A new strain in cattle has led to more severe disease in some people. The virus has spread to foxes, goats, pigs, rats, cats, and raccoons. Antibody tests on dairy workers revealed a 7% infection rate, suggesting many cases go undetected. Experts are concerned that the virus could evolve into a pandemic strain. A bird flu vaccine exists but isn't FDA-licensed, and the Trump administration paused funding for Moderna's vaccine. The USDA's milk testing program has helped slow the spread, but distrust of science and vaccines hinders prevention efforts. Some scientists claim the CDC influenza division has been decimated and that a communications ban has been put on federal workers.

Speaker 0: Bird flu has been circling the globe for decades. So, the discovery in 2024 that the deadly pathogen had jumped from a wild bird to a cow came as a shock to virus watchers. Now, in just over a year, the virus has ripped through America's dairy herds and poultry flocks. It has jumped to other mammals, including humans. Seventy Americans have caught the virus. One has died. Long feared as a possible pandemic, doctors and veterinarians fighting the virus told us Biden's government was slow to act, while the Trump administration has now laid off more than a hundred key scientists, all as the virus keeps spreading. Speaker 1: The story will continue in a moment. Speaker 2: At present, we're given a stick, and they put a blindfold on us, and we're sent into a gunfight. And we're losing. We are losing. Speaker 0: Veterinarian Doctor. Kay Russo told us we are running out of time to stop bird flu. She was called in when the virus h five n one hit this dairy herd in Colorado last summer. It cost the farm about $400,000 to treat its sick cattle, Most recovered. Some protective gear. Speaker 2: Yep. To Speaker 0: help But as an added precaution, we suited up to ensure we didn't bring anything onto the farm ourselves. There's no front or back? There's no Speaker 2: front or back. It's high fashion. Speaker 0: It's real high fashion. Speaker 2: In order Speaker 0: It's not clear how bird flu is spread from cow to cow, but milking equipment is a prime suspect. The virus is thought to linger on the automilker waiting for the next cow. Workers here in milking parlors have also fallen sick. So what concerns you the most? Speaker 2: The pandemic potential for a virus like this one. And, you know, that is the worst case scenario. Right? And, ultimately, one we wanna avoid. I can't say that that's gonna happen, but we don't wanna play with fire. Speaker 0: It started in Texas. In early twenty twenty four, cows were suffering from a mysterious disease. Their fevers spiked. Their milk dried up. They were coughing, drooling, lethargic. Soon, there were more sick cattle in neighboring states. Kaye Russo joined a conference call of worried vets to try to figure it out. Speaker 2: I started asking questions. What are the birds doing on the farm? And one of the veterinarians replied, Well, they're all dead. Speaker 0: So they're seeing dead birds on the farms? Speaker 2: Yep. You know, we started to see the cats that were demonstrating neurologic symptoms. And more alarmingly, the workers were complaining of flu like symptoms. Speaker 0: Tests confirmed Russo's worst fears. H5N1 had jumped to cattle for the first time. In past outbreaks, bird flu has often been deadly in people. Speaker 2: If you look at cases worldwide of H5 influenza, the mortality rate's fifty percent. And so we're all kind of, you know, talking to each other. What does this mean? And, that was a scary space to be in. Speaker 0: Despite the urgency, Russo and other vets told us the Biden administration was slow to act. It was a month before the US Department of Agriculture required cows to be tested before interstate travel and ten months before a raw milk testing program was launched. Today, some states test weekly, some hardly at all. Do we have enough information about how this virus is spreading? Speaker 2: I would say today no. And that comes down to boots on the ground where you have a strike force that comes in the middle of an outbreak and just starts collecting data. Speaker 0: Russo told us, at the moment, the virus has the upper hand. Speaker 2: I think it's a numbers game. And the more we let it move unchecked, the more likely we're gonna have even a bigger mess on our hands. Speaker 0: Poultry farmers have had to kill tens of millions of birds, removing them with trailers and driving egg prices sky high. Now a new strain of bird flu has been discovered in cattle. It has led to more severe disease in some people. Speaker 3: This is a threat that is very significant and very real. I recognize also this is a moment where it's easy to sound like an alarmist. What I'm here to tell you is this is a very serious threat to humanity. The longer we let this persist, the greater the risks are going to be. So if we think Speaker 0: Doctor Cameron Khan is an infectious disease physician in Toronto. His company, Blue Dot, was among the first to flag the virus in China that became the COVID pandemic. Khan told us bird flu is just as concerning. He showed us how fast the virus has spread among dairy cattle. This seems like almost a wildfire to me. Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely. Speaker 0: Now add in poultry outbreaks. So this is virtually the whole country? Speaker 3: Pretty much. Speaker 0: Next, Doctor. Cameron Khan showed us a map of all the confirmed human cases of bird flu in the last five years. Most have been in Asia until now. Speaker 3: What you start to see around 2024 is you start to see a case in Texas, and then you start to see this sudden rapid increase in cases across the country. Speaker 0: All over the place. Speaker 3: What's happening here is wild birds have infected cows, who have then infected other cows, who have then infected humans. And so there's this complex web of all of these different animal species now passing the virus in different directions. Speaker 0: Is this one of those things you have never seen before? Speaker 3: The world has never seen this kind of, situation, and it's showing us that the virus is capable of adaptation if you allow it. It will just get better and better at infecting other mammals, including potentially humans. Speaker 0: Most of the confirmed cases in The US have been farm workers. Most had mild symptoms. The one person who died had underlying health conditions. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the virus still poses a low risk to the general public, but Kahn told us many cases are going undetected. Why do you say that? Speaker 3: So in a recent study of dairy workers, their blood was tested for antibodies to H5N1, not looking for the virus, but looking for the immune system's memory of this virus. It turns out that seven percent of them, one out of roughly every fifteen workers, actually had antibodies to H5N1. Speaker 0: People are not generally getting very sick from this. What's the reason for all the alarm? Speaker 3: Influenza is a particularly formidable virus. It is constantly changing. And the more that we allow it to evolve and adapt by infecting people, I mean this is kind of Darwinian evolution here, right? It can change in ways that actually make it even more deadly or more easily transmissible or even resist against some of the antiviral medications that we have. Speaker 0: Khan told us every new infection increases the odds bird flu could lead to severe disease as we saw during COVID. In North America, 6 people now have ended up in the hospital with bird flu. More worrying, five people had no known exposure to sick animals. One girl in Mexico died two weeks ago. Speaker 3: We are really at risk of this virus evolving into one that has pandemic potential. And the reality is none of us know whether this is next week or next year or never. I don't think it's never. But it may be here far sooner than any of us would like. Speaker 0: Many scientists told us vaccines could be our best defense. There is a vaccine for bird flu, but it has not been licensed by the Food and Drug Administration. Moderna has a new one, but the Trump administration has paused its final funding. There are vaccines for poultry too, but they haven't been used because many of America's trading partners will not import vaccinated birds. A glimmer of hope, the USDA's milk testing program. Speaker 4: This is repurposed from COVID testing from three or four years ago. Speaker 0: Doctor Keith Polson is director of the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, part of the USDA's plan to test raw milk for h five n one. Pasteurization kills the virus, but raw milk can be loaded with it. Is this where you would identify the the virus? Speaker 4: Yeah. And it can detect even just one positive cow in a group of a thousand. Speaker 0: 40 five states are now doing some form of testing. Paulson told us it's helped to slow the spread of the virus in some states. When you see the outbreak curve level off or start to decline Mhmm. Do you go like, phew, we we dodge one? Speaker 4: I I don't think we go phew until we're we're deactivated, our lab. We're still in outbreak response mode, and while we may have fewer detections, we know that there are still viruses circulating based on all the data from the virologists that we're talking to, and we wanna make sure that we catch it fast. Speaker 0: The CDC is trying to ramp up its testing, but there's another problem. Almost half of farm workers are undocumented and may be reluctant to be tested. Speaker 1: If we're not testing people, if we're not looking for people who might get it, if we're not looking for evidence of an early cluster of human to human transmission, then we're going to miss it. Speaker 0: Doctor. Angela Rasmussen is an American virologist working in Canada. Rasmussen told us it's not just the number of human cases that is alarming, but that the virus is jumping to more mammals. Every new spillover gives the virus another chance to evolve and potentially spread person to person. So we are now seeing the viruses spread from birds to cattle and now to foxes, goats, pigs, rats, cats, raccoons. Speaker 1: The fact that this virus can infect so many different types of mammals is a huge concern in terms of its ability to infect people. Speaker 0: One of your colleagues told us that if this should spiral into a pandemic, this flu could make COVID look like a walk in the park. Speaker 1: I agree. Speaker 0: You're scaring me. Speaker 1: I'm scared about it myself. I don't sleep very much these days, Bill. Speaker 0: Rasmussen was among the scientists given expert briefings by the Biden administration in 2024. She told us Biden's team miscalculated the threat at first. Speaker 1: It was some gambling and some wishful thinking, thinking this isn't actually gonna be that big of a deal. And it turns out it was a very big deal. Speaker 0: Has the Trump administration gotten its arms around this problem? Speaker 1: No, I would say is the short answer. But the other, the longer answer is that I don't actually entirely know what is going on. Speaker 0: Why is that? Speaker 1: Many of the people who are working on this, at least at CDC, have been fired from the federal government. So the influenza division at CDC has been decimated. And in fact, there is a communications ban that has been put on these federal workers. Speaker 0: What do you think of that? Speaker 1: I think it's insane actually that I have to have conversations on encrypted messaging apps with my colleagues who I would normally just send emails to. Speaker 0: Hundreds of federal scientists and health workers who track bird flu have been laid off. Some may be rehired. The CDC declined to answer our questions, saying it continues to respond to the h five n one bird flu outbreak. Worst case Colorado vet Kay Russo and others told us they feel stymied. The current distrust of science and vaccines is hurting their fight to try to prevent the next pandemic. Speaker 2: I would scorch the earth if this ends up in children deaths. And so as a mother, as a veterinarian, as a scientist, I'm just asking you trust us because I will do everything in my power and there's plenty folks behind me that will do the same to keep this from getting to that point.

In April 2024, the Biden administration awarded the non-profit “Power Forward Communities,” linked to Stacey Abrams, a $2 billion grant through the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, despite its reported revenue of only $100 in its initial three months. Launched in October 2023, PFC includes various nonprofits and aims to promote equity. The EPA allocated $20 billion to eight groups via Citibank, allowing limited federal oversight. I view this as another instance of mismanagement and misuse of taxpayer funds tied to ideologically driven policies.

The Biden administration awarded the Stacy Abrams linked non-profit “Power Forward Communities” a $2 billion grant in April 2024 via the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, despite the coalition reporting only $100 in revenue during its first three months of operation. PFC launched in October 2023 as a coalition of nonprofits, including Rewiring America (a climate advocacy group), the AFL-CIO, and United Way. Stacey Abrams’ involvement stemmed from her position as senior counsel at Rewiring America, framing it as a “tool for equity”. The EPA allocated $20 billion to eight groups via Citibank, bypassing direct federal oversight. PFC was given 21 days to distribute funds and 90 days for budget training requirements. This was undoubtedly a democrat slush fund and yet more fraud, waste and abuse at the expense of taxpayers. Just like everything else connected to “climate change”, DEI, or any other ideologically motivated policy.

In 2014, the Associated Press uncovered that the U.S. government had secretly launched a platform called ZunZuneo, or "Cuban Twitter," from 2010 to 2012, funded by USAID. The initiative aimed to incite unrest against the Cuban government by initially sharing harmless content to attract a youth following. Once established, the plan was to introduce political messages to spark protests. The operation involved creating front companies and using fake executives to disguise its true intent. ZunZuneo was shut down in 2012 due to funding issues, leaving users unaware of their involvement in a U.S. regime-change effort.

USAID Created a Fake Cuban Twitter In 2014 Associated Press revealed that the U.S. government had secretly created “Cuban Twitter” called ZunZuneo to stir unrest and undermine the Cuban government. The project ran from 2010-2012 and was funded by none-other than USAID. It aimed to build a mass following among Cuban youth, initially providing innocuous content such as sports scores and entertainment news. Once the platform had gained enough traction, U.S. operatives planned to introduce political content designed to provoke anti-government sentiment and, ultimately, fuel protests. Front companies were established abroad, shell corporations were used for financial transactions, and fake executives were put in place to create the illusion of a legitimate business. The AP investigation revealed that USAID and its contractors went to great lengths to conceal their involvement, fearing Cuban authorities would crack down if they discovered the true purpose. However, ZunZuneo abruptly shut down in 2012 when funding dried up, leaving thousands of users unaware they had been part of a U.S. regime-change experiment. This is what they mean by “international development”, plotting coups around the world under the guise of being charitable.

The U.S. secretly developed a program called Zunzuneo, a fake Twitter network aimed at undermining the Cuban government. Funded by USAID, it used shell companies and foreign banks to operate without Cubans knowing it was a U.S. initiative. Initially, it provided non-political content to attract users, later intending to introduce political messages to inspire protests. Despite being publicly funded, the program operated covertly, raising concerns about its effectiveness and legality. Critics, including Senator Patrick Leahy, expressed skepticism about the program's rationale and outcomes. The initiative is viewed as part of a broader U.S. strategy for regime change in Cuba, which has faced scrutiny and debate regarding its impact on U.S.-Cuba relations.

Speaker 0: Is Democracy Now, democracy now dot org, The War and Peace Report. I'm Amy Goodman. US secretly created Cuban Twitter to stir unrest. That's the name of an explosive new expose by the Associated Press detailing how the US government created a fake Twitter program to undermine the Cuban government. The communications network was called Zanzunio, the slang for a Cuban hummingbird's tweet. It was reportedly built with secret shell companies financed through foreign banks. The program used cell phone text messaging to circumvent Cuba's strict Internet restrictions. At its peak, it drew in more than 40000 Cubans. However, its subscribers were completely unaware they were using a US government program and giving American contractors their private data to potentially use for political purposes. Perhaps most shockingly, the Cuban Twitter program was not paid for and run by a spy agency such as the CIA. Instead, it was the brainchild of USAID, the US Agency for International Development best known for overseeing billions of dollars in US humanitarian aid. According to AP, documents show the US government plan to build a subscriber base through noncontroversial content, news messages on soccer, on music, on hurricane updates. Later, when the network reached a critical mass of subscribers, operators would introduce political content aimed at inspiring Cubans to organize smart mobs, mass gatherings, cold at a moment's notice that might trigger a Cuban spring, or as one USAID document put it, renegotiate the balance of power between the state and society. By 02/11, was paying tens of thousands of dollars in text messaging fees to Cuba's telecommunications monopoly routed through a secret bank account in front companies. Then toward the middle of 02/12, the program vanished as mysteriously as it appeared. On Thursday, White House press secretary Jay Carney also defended the USAID's Cuban Twitter program. Speaker 1: Suggestions that this was a covert program are wrong. Congress funds democracy programming for Cuba to help empower Cubans to access more information and to strengthen civil society. These appropriations are public unlike covert action. The money invested has been debated in congress. In addition, GAO reviewed this program in detail in 02/13 and found that it was conducted in accordance with US law and under appropriate oversight controls. Speaker 0: That was White House press secretary Jay Carney. Well, for more, we go to Madison, Wisconsin. We're joined by Peter Kornbluh, directs the Cuba documentation project at the National Security Archive, a public interest research Center located at George Washington University. He's the coauthor of the forthcoming book, Backchannel to Cuba, the hidden history of negotiations between Washington and Havana. He recently wrote an article in foreign policy called Our Man in Havana. Was USAID planning to overthrow Castro? Castro? Peter Kornbloo, welcome back to Democracy Now. Well, why don't you answer that question? Talk about this Twitter account and what you have been most surprised by. Speaker 2: USAID is clearly in the, in in the job of trying to bring about regime change, in Cuba. It financed a program, sending private contractors into Cuba secretly several years ago to set up satellite communications networks. And now we found out through this extraordinary Associated Press story, that it was trying to set up a secret Twitter network that has all the elements of a classic covert operation. It has secret bank accounts, shell companies, multi national platforms in terms of various countries being used, Nicaragua, Spain, Ireland, London. And in the background, a murky office in USAID called the Office of Transition Initiative, OTI, that clearly is competing with the Central Intelligence Agency for creative regime change programs, in in Cuba. It's a it's a stunning story. It's an important story, and I'm glad we're talking about it. Speaker 0: How it was going to work. I mean, how the whole thing, the Associated Press expose, how they were gonna how they had the Cuban cell phone numbers that got a hold of them, and why this went to USAID in the end? Speaker 3: Well, Speaker 2: USAID has funding from the U. S. Congress. This funding was done under the title of a democracy program, democracy promotion program. And every year, Congress is basically throwing $20,000,000 into USAID's lap and demanding that this money somehow get into Cuba to foster democracy. Now, if we had better relations with Cuba, if The United States goal wasn't regime change in Cuba, then that money could be used for scholarships, educational, educational programs, humanitarian programs, training programs. But instead, it's being used for this kind of operation apparently. Covert operations intended first to network young Cubans, and this is one of the elements of the story that's particularly interesting. The Twitter accounts, the text messaging is clearly the domain in The United States, but all around the world of younger people. And the youth population in Cuba is the most disenchanted with the revolution itself. It is clearly the demographic that The United States would want to mobilize. You create a network. The idea was to create a network first in a very benign way, where all these Cubans would be talking to each other, and then once the network was built to start to pass these messages without anybody eventually come to Cuba, have a communications vehicle in which The United States could pass messages, mobilize, organize opposition. And Speaker 0: I wanna play for you a comment of of Democratic senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont. He was on MSNBC yesterday and talked about the secret Cuba Twitter program. Speaker 3: What they were trying to do here makes me think of people I I somehow think are there still at the state department and writing memos that they were writing back to president Eisenhower. You know, if we just stay tough, those Castro brothers would be out there any day now. They've been saying that for sixty years. This this made no sense at all. I was not briefed. I know of nobody who was briefed on this. I think most people would say, are you out of your mind? This is not a program USAID should be involved with. And, you know, for one thing, it accomplished practically nothing. Speaker 0: That's Democratic senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont. Now the US government, we heard the spokesperson Jay Carney, former reporter himself, or president Obama, saying this wasn't secret. Yet AP gets these memos like the one in 02/10 for Mobile Accord, one of the project's contractors. There will be absolutely no mention of United States government involvement. This is absolutely crucial for the long term success of the service and to ensure the success of the mission. Peter of Cornbleau. Speaker 2: Of course, it is secret. Jay Carney is misleading the American public. This is one of the saddest elements of this whole story is the way the Obama administration has deceptively misrepresented these USAID programs. USAID perhaps is the new CIA, here, and this all has a whiff of Iran Contra kind of elements in which, you know, you may remember, Amy, you better than anybody, you know, back in the when the CIA was banned from supporting the Contras, in Central America by Congress and passed the operations to the National Security Council, so that they could be conducted from there. And here, we may have a situation where covert operations have simply been passed to USAID where there isn't very much scrutiny. But it also begs the question of this is what USAID is doing in Cuba, what has the CIA been doing there all this time? I think there's quite a bit of programming and operations that we don't know about directed towards Cuba that I think is really fundamental to be discussed and debated now. So we can change this archaic policy that Patrick Leahy referred to and get on with normalizing relations with Cuba, which of course is changing rapidly into a not from a communist society to a capitalist society, and we can help with that, but we can't help with that by these silly, surreptitious, and and absolutely dangerous, kind of covert operations. Speaker 0: Peter Kornblau, you met with Alan Gross. He's been in prison in Cuba for what, now I think he's in his fourth year of prison. This is back in 02/10, about the time that this program was starting, and he was arrested by the Cuban authorities, for setting up a satellite communications network in Cuba as part of USAID's Cuba democracy and contingency planning program. Is there a link? Speaker 2: Yes. The this is all part of a broader, USAID effort to use the Internet, to use modern social media communication systems to both network Cubans and then have an independent communications vehicle to Cubans on the island through which messages can be sent, when unrest occurs, both to spur unrest and then to basically be able to communicate with leaders of the opposition, to the Cuban government. And Alan Gross's project was very similar, although it was had a different technological dynamic, than the independent communications, and then later, you can have people use those communications and receive communications from The United States in a way that gets around receive communications from The United States in a way that gets around the controls of the Cuban government. Alan Gross was arrested in February,. I believe that this program Twitter program all throughout 02/9 also, and may well have derived from the very end of the Bush administration. The Bush administration really wanted to help the Republican Party and help Jeb Bush in Florida eventually by, you know, pushing forward with covert operations and and pro democracy operations, and they started throwing even more money at USAID to do this. But, one of the elements that we've learned here is that even after Alan Gross was arrested, and Congress began to very forcefully scrutinize these types of surreptitious, certainly clearly covert operations being run out of USAID. USAID did not stop them. They continued and escalated this very Twitter like program that we're now learning about. I think it's very important though, Amy, that we recognize one thing. Like the Alan Gross Gambit, this Twitter operation failed miserably. It was a waste of money in the end, and now, with the revelations of it are hurtful to the effort to kind of rebuild a US Cuban relationship, solve the problem of Alan Gross in prison in Cuba and the three Cuban spies that are still in prison in The United States, and get on with a relationship with Cuba that is a modern relationship that meets the national interests of The United States Of America. And these regime change programs are only hurtful to those national interests. Speaker 0: Peter Cornbleau, I wanna thank you for being with us, directs the Cuba Documentation Project National Security Archive. We will link to the article you just wrote about this AP expose, and that does it for the show. Speaker 3: Our

Designing a clinical trial for a vaccine given to children under 18 months to determine if it causes autism requires a long follow-up period. Autism is typically diagnosed within the first two years, and many theories suggest it is a prenatal condition. Vaccine trials usually have a follow-up period of about a year. The number of children needed in trials to detect autism is unclear, but larger sample sizes are necessary for rare events. The trials for vaccines like MMR were likely not designed to assess autism risk adequately. A longer follow-up period and larger sample sizes would be needed to capture enough cases. Ultimately, the trials did not sufficiently rule out a link between vaccines and autism.

Speaker 0: If you're going to, design a clinical trial of a vaccine given to children 18 months or younger, how long would that clinical trial need to be to determine whether the vaccine caused autism? Speaker 1: The, in general, the, autism is is is generally diagnosed somewhere within the first couple years of life, and, and I think maybe the meantime is about 2 years depending upon the severity. So I think that that, however, I think that that most of the going theories would suggest that that autism is is really a prenatal event and not a an event that happens after the child is born. So I think that that that what you're asking me is a little bit of a loaded question and, and, so I will end I will ask you or I will answer in that, that the that the vaccine trials that are that are conducted always have a tail of about a year that is required for, for the manufacturers to follow the patients. Speaker 0: For the vaccines licensed, you know, by the year by the year 2000, how many children would you estimate need to be in those clinical trials to detect whether the vaccine caused autism by 18 months, and how long would the trial need to, continue after 18 months of age? I Speaker 1: I can't give you those numbers off the top of my head, exactly how they would be. And, I think that that, I think one of the you know, when you have an a rare event, although, you know, autism is now felt to be about 1.5 percent of the population, when you have a rare event, and particularly when it was it it might have been more difficult to diagnose earlier, in an earlier time, then then I think it takes larger numbers, but I can't give you that number. Speaker 0: About clinical trials. Would you agree with me that the clinical trials relied upon to license the vaccines given to for Yates were not designed to determine whether these products cause autism when given to an infant or toddler at or below the age of 18 months? Speaker 1: I think those those trials were likely not powered to answer that question. I don't recall, the actual number that were enrolled in the, in the MMR vaccine trials, and and so I can't I can't say that definitively, that, you know, but but I would trust that it likely was not large enough, and that's why large database studies are are needed to to really assess that in in a phase 4 assessment. Speaker 0: So it sounds like, you know, you would agree there weren't. They probably, as you said, are unlikely to be properly powered, and they would have needed to review safety long enough as well, to determine to capture enough children in the experimental and control group that had or didn't have autism in order to make an assessment whether the product caused autism. Correct? Speaker 1: Yes, sir. If an adverse event were to occur associated with vaccines, that if it were an uncommon event and if it were if it was not diagnosed until later, then you would need a larger number of sample size and a longer period to assess that. I am not saying, however, by answering yes to your questions that I believe autism that vaccines cause autism. So I just wanna make sure that you understand what I'm saying. Speaker 0: Never asked that question. Absolutely. I think the record's clear on that. How long would safety have to be tracked in the clinical trials relied upon to license the vaccine the ACE received in order for them to have determined whether the vaccine caused autism. Object to form the question. You may answer, doctor, if you have any Speaker 1: I'm not gonna answer it. I've already answered the question. Speaker 0: I I don't recall that you have not provided any period of time. Are you saying you don't know the period Speaker 1: of time? Said Speaker 0: Please. Speaker 1: I said that the studies that were involved in the licensure of MMR did not provide an adequate number of patients that had been followed for for 4 years to determine the, the a rare event that would happen 4 years after vaccination. That's what I'm saying. Speaker 0: According to your profile, you have done most of the credible trials relied upon to license many of the vaccines, correct, on the market? Speaker 1: Yes, sir. Speaker 0: K. So you're highly experienced conducting clinical trials. Correct? Speaker 1: I'm highly experienced conducting clinical trials. Speaker 0: K. And you're familiar with many of the clinical trials that rely upon to license many of the vaccines currently on the market. Correct? Speaker 1: I am. K. Speaker 0: In your opinion, did the clinical trials relied upon to license the vaccines that Gates received, many of which are still on the market today? Were they designed to rule out that the vaccine causes autism? Speaker 1: No. You badgered me into answering the question the way you want me to, but I I think that, that that I've that's probably the answer. Speaker 0: Is is it is that your accurate and truthful testimony? Speaker 1: Yes. Thank you.

I suggest administering six vaccinations at once for a child who has not been immunized before. At six months, the child would receive DTaP, polio, Hep B, and pneumococcal vaccines. Adjuvants are used in vaccines to enhance effectiveness. An antigen is a protein that triggers an immune response. The amount of aluminum in vaccines is much lower than what we consume in our diet, which is deemed safe. There are concerns about the presence of cellular debris from aborted fetal tissue in some vaccines, but these do not end up in the final product. Vaccine safety opinions are based on CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations, considering family history factors like immune suppression. The polio vaccine used in the U.S. is an inactivated version, typically administered subcutaneously.

Speaker 0: I have a suggestion. Speaker 1: Oh, wonderful. Speaker 0: Because it'll be impressive enough. The fact that this child has not gotten any immunizations previously Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 2: Means this poor child will have to be tortured Speaker 0: with with 6 different injections at the same time. And if you would like to put those 6 up at the one visit and her first visit to get all these immunizations, I'm happy to do that. Speaker 1: A child that they're 6 months shot, they would receive DTaP. Correct? Speaker 0: Correct. Speaker 1: They will receive polio? Speaker 0: Correct. Speaker 1: Hep b? Correct. Pneumococcal? Yes. Pib? Speaker 2: It depends. It depends on the product Speaker 0: that was used in the first two sessions. Speaker 1: Same same issue with catching up 2a half year old. Right? Same same Speaker 0: same choice. Same choice. Yeah. In this case, yes. Speaker 1: And at excuse me, at 2a half years of age you're saying getting 6 vaccines is torture, but a 6 month old would have to receive, we just counted 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 vaccines. Correct? Aluminum adjuvants are using vaccines. Correct? Speaker 0: Correct. Speaker 1: Why are you moving to adjuvants using vaccines? Speaker 0: Because they make the vaccine more effective. Speaker 1: Okay. And how do they do that? Speaker 0: I don't know. Speaker 1: Okay. What's an antigen? Speaker 0: An antigen is a typically a protein that, in this case, it would be if you're talking about vaccines, an antigen is, a protein that causes a reaction and oftentimes is an an infectious agent, but not always. Speaker 1: Isn't it true that an adjuvant will only will not only bind Speaker 0: to the target antigen that's in the vaccine, but also, Speaker 1: to the impurities and byproducts such as the animal and human parts left in the vaccine or the manufacturing process? Speaker 0: You're asking me specifics about physiology that I am not that's not my area of expertise. Speaker 1: But I'm there is okay. So you're not aware that there's a difference between the form of aluminum. So when it's ingested, it's taken up an ionic form. When it's injected, it's in these nanoparticle forms. And contrast, injected aluminum is our nano particles, correct? They're there to create an irritant to the immune system so that the vaccine creates antibodies. And so they're actually these nano particles that are in the vaccine, right, or do not know? Speaker 0: You're talking about specifics that are are very detailed. Are the are Speaker 1: the details important? I mean, you you said that Speaker 0: Not in this case because we're talking about a metal. It is not concerning to me because the amount of aluminum that we ingest in general, just through our diet is much higher than what we get through vaccines. There's no reason to believe that that amount that additional small amount is anything to be Speaker 1: So you said that the quantity of ingested aluminum is small or excuse me, is is much larger than the amount of injected aluminum and therefore you deem it safe? Speaker 0: Correct. Speaker 1: Are you aware that the, this FDA provides that in terms of ingesting ingested aluminum, eaten aluminum, 0.3% or less is actually taken up by the blood? Do you know that or not? I it's Speaker 0: just I I don't know the exact numbers. No. Speaker 1: And that if it is, it's taken up in ionic form. Do you understand what I mean? Speaker 0: I understand what you mean by that. Speaker 1: I mean, in its in its smallest elemental form, that's how it's taken into the blood. Right? Speaker 2: Correct. Speaker 1: And and aluminum and ionic form is not able to cross the blood brain barrier. Correct? Speaker 0: I am not aware that that's true. Speaker 1: You don't know. Speaker 0: I don't know that that's true. Speaker 1: Okay. If you don't know, that's fine. An antigens bound to aluminum are taken up by macrophages. Correct? Speaker 0: Yes. K. Speaker 1: And macrophages present the stuff they gobble up to the parts of the immune system that create antibodies. Correct? Speaker 0: I believe so. I don't I have not studied the actual mechanism of action. Speaker 1: And they also traveled to different parts of the body. Correct. Correct? Speaker 0: Correct. Speaker 1: And they'll deposit the materials they gobble up there. They didn't show that most package inserts for most vaccines report encephalitis or encephalopathy as a reported adverse event from vaccination? Speaker 0: I would have to look at all the package inserts to be able to say yes or no to that. It is possible. Yes. Speaker 1: Do any of the vaccines in the toddlers that will contain monkey kidney cells? Speaker 0: I do not know. Speaker 1: Blood serum from Speaker 0: cows? I do not know. Do you Speaker 1: need pig cell cultures? Speaker 0: I do not know. Speaker 1: Gelatin from pigs and cows? Speaker 0: I don't know. Speaker 1: MRC 5 human diploid cells? Speaker 0: MRC 5 human human diploid cells. Those are specifics that I typically do. Speaker 1: Are you aware that MRC 5 diploid cells are cells cultured from the lung tissue in a porta fetus? Speaker 0: I am aware that there are 2 vaccines out on the market, the MMR and the VZV that have, that use a cell in the production of it, use a cell line, from aborted fetuses from 1962 and 1966. Those are the only 2 aborted fetus tissue cell lines that are used. Speaker 1: Isn't it true that there actually is recently been a new cell line, human cell line from the border fetal tissue that's been approved for use in that case? Speaker 0: I'm not aware of that. Okay. Speaker 1: And none of those none of the aborted fetal tissue culture cell lines actually end up in the vaccine product. Speaker 0: The vaccine doesn't have cells in it. Speaker 1: The cellular pieces from the aborted Speaker 2: That is potentially possible. Yes. Speaker 1: Isn't it true that in fact there is more of that cellular debris in the MMR, for example, and there is actually antigen? Speaker 0: I don't know. Speaker 1: Okay. Isn't it true that, that the, Havrix hepatitis a vaccine the hepatitis a vaccine contains millions of fragments of human DNA? Speaker 0: Possible. I don't know. Speaker 1: Doctor, isn't it true that Varivax, the chickenpox vaccine contains approximately 1,000,000,000,000 fragments of human DNA? Speaker 0: Again, if doctor Plotkin says it does, then I will agree. Speaker 1: Isn't it true that these 74 aborted fetuses had almost every piece of their bodies including skin, tongue, and heart cut into little cubes to be used for culture? Speaker 0: I'm not aware of any studies that doctor Plotkin, the specifics of any studies that doctor Plotkin did. Speaker 1: What principles and methods did you rely upon in reaching your opinion regarding vaccine safety? Speaker 0: I use the, again, the recommendations of the CDC and the American, the, advisory committee on immunization practices and the American Academy of Pediatrics to make form an opinion about the vaccine safety. Speaker 1: So your basis so I'm gonna say the principle method that you relied upon of reaching your opinion regarding vaccine safety and vaccine efficacy are what the CDC recommends and and your claim that you've seen some people die of some diseases that for which there are vaccinations. Is that correct? Correct. That's the sum total. Right? Speaker 0: And the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations. Speaker 1: K. Speaker 3: So when you're looking at a patient, you're making the determination as Speaker 4: to what vaccines they should receive. What family history factors are concerning to you? Speaker 0: One of the big family history factors that I would take into consideration is is there, a history of anybody who's immune suppressed? Speaker 1: Isn't it true that the only polio vaccine used in the United States is an activated polio vaccine which is injected in muscle? Speaker 0: It's an inactivated poliovirus vaccine. Speaker 1: Right. And it's injected the muscle tissue. Speaker 0: Correct. Speaker 1: Okay. Versus what we used to be used Speaker 0: as a Actually, it's not into the muscle tissue. It's given sub q typically.

In February, a significant healthcare hack compromised the personal and medical data of over 100 million individuals, with UnitedHealthcare at the center. This occurred as the DOJ intensified its antitrust scrutiny of the company, raising suspicions of a coordinated attack against perceived corporate greed. The murder of Brian Thompson, linked to ongoing investigations and insider trading allegations, could suggest an effort to silence a key figure. The assassin's manifesto hints at ideological motivations, but the broader implications of the hack and investigation are being overlooked. My viral post questioning the official narrative has sparked threats, indicating a deeper societal unrest.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

A Major Healthcare Hack, a Major DOJ Investigation and the Assassination of the Man at the Center of it. Some thoughts on current events. In February a major healthcare hack exposed the personal and medical data of over 100 million individuals and sent shockwaves through the industry. UnitedHealthcare, as one of the largest players, was at the center of this crisis. The timing of the hack—just as the DOJ intensified its antitrust scrutiny of UnitedHealthcare—raises the possibility of a coordinated campaign targeting the healthcare system’s perceived inefficiencies and corporate greed. If sensitive internal communications or financial data related to Brian Thompson or his company were among the stolen files, the hack could have intensified existing tensions, making Thompson a high-value target. The DOJ investigation into UnitedHealthcare’s alleged antitrust violations and insider trading already placed significant pressure on Thompson and his company. The lawsuit alleging insider trading against Thompson, particularly regarding his $15.1 million stock sale, added fuel to a growing fire of public and regulatory scrutiny. This investigation posed existential risks not just to Thompson personally but to the corporation’s broader operations. Thompson’s murder could be interpreted as an effort to disrupt the investigation or eliminate a key figure who might have possessed damaging information. If powerful stakeholders—either within UnitedHealthcare or in adjacent industries—feared the fallout from Thompson’s potential testimony or cooperation with authorities, eliminating him could serve as a preemptive strike to protect their interests. The manifesto found with Luigi Mangione, Thompson’s alleged assassin, adds an ideological dimension to this theory. As the story goes, Mangione reportedly criticized the healthcare system’s failures, and his personal struggles with health issues might have driven him to retaliate violently. If the hack and the murder were ideologically motivated, they could represent parallel and or coordinated actions to either expose systemic corruption or it could be to cover it up. Yes the murder of Thompson could be the result of a troubled lone wolf assassin who comes from a wealthy family, went to an Ivy League school and had a back injury that drove him to murder a man. A similar profile we have been told about every other high profile assassination in recent memory. Having one person responsible certainly makes it easier to close the case and move on doesn’t it? Every single time. However ignoring the hack and the ongoing DOJ investigation that just so happened to have the victim that was assassinated in broad daylight at the center of it, is the height of willful ignorance in my opinion. It is truly amazing how quickly the public, despite being historically lied to incessantly, will blindly accept everything said from the same sources that have been the perpetrator of those lies. We have learned exactly nothing from the past and that permits the corruption to continue unabated. Anyone who questions the official narrative is immediately dismissed as a “conspiracy theorist” despite those so called “conspiracy theorists” being vindicated over and over again. It is an accusatory trope that is leveled by officials and in the media and dutifully repeated by the masses. I posted a photo along with 5 words questioning the images provided by the authorities of the alleged assassin and it went mega viral. Obviously I could not have known that it would spread like wildfire but as a result I have received several ominous anonymous threats. It clearly hit a nerve on multiple levels and tapped into something bubbling underneath the surface of our society. Many people are questioning the narrative and should continue to do so because I believe this story is much bigger than is being reported.

Ancient cultures prayed for rain, while in the 20th century, countries seeded clouds with chemicals. The US military is allegedly conducting secretive weather control research, with the Air Force aiming to control weather by 2025. Weather modification includes artificially changing the atmosphere. Since 2000, the Department of Defense and Department of Energy have supposedly been spraying the US sky with toxic chemicals and biologic agents via chemtrails, unlike contrails which dissipate quickly. These chemtrails contain pathogenic molds, weaponized viruses, barium, and nanoaluminum particles, potentially causing harm to humans and wildlife. Barium can affect the heart and nervous system, while aluminum diminishes kidney and brain function. Nanoparticles can penetrate the skin and interfere with plant growth. Other documented chemicals include ammonia, cadmium, lead, and xylene, posing various health risks. Asthma rates may be linked to chemtrails. The true nature of aerosol operations is undisclosed. Past secret chemical exposure incidents in the US include cancer cell injections, mustard gas experiments, and dioxin exposure. The Department of Defense admitted to Desert Storm chemical exposure. A controversial weather modification bill was passed without public discussion or oversight. The Pentagon wants to resume open-air testing of biologic weapons, potentially using this technology without consent.

Speaker 0: Doctor Ilya Perlinjeri. Perlinjeri is the author of the uterine crisis, one of the first books to link environmental toxins with the staggering rate of women's reproductive illnesses. In 2,006, she was chair of Maine's first global warming conference. She has written for E, the environmental magazine, and London's The Ecologist. Speaker 1: Ancient cultures used to do native tribal dances to pray for rain, to bring areas that were very dry, and have good rainfall. In the 20th century, clouds were seeded by numerous countries around the globe with various chemicals to produce rain. China was just doing this over the summer in Beijing to make sure that there weren't any, rain that there wasn't any rain during the Olympics. But all this has changed dramatically with US military's secretive research and plans to control the planet's natural weather. This has not been given very much, press, and we have to remember that we are have a corporate owned press where 85% of radio, television, and print media is owned by 5 corporations. So they're not gonna talk about things that are, of really serious consequence, and that's somewhat of the blessing, a mixed blessing of the Internet. But there's certainly plenty of information on weather modification. The air force is on record as saying, quote, they wanna control the weather by 2025, and we are not talking about just seeding the clouds for rain. Weather modification means, quote, any activity performed with the intention of producing artificial changes in the composition, behavior, or dynamics of the atmosphere, unquote. And as of April this year, there are more than a 150 different weather modification programs around the world. Since about 2000, the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy have been spraying the entire United States Sky with a toxic brew of chemicals and other biologic agents. Do we have that? Let me do that. Just wanna show you something. We have 2 different kinds of trails in the sky right now. 1 are called contrails. How many of you know what contrails are? Contrails are would have been around, from the, ends of plains since World War 2. These are very, very short exhaust trails that usually evaporate within a few minutes. You just look up at the sky, and you'll just see a jet sometimes with 4 trails, but it evaporates pretty quickly. How many of you know what chemtrails are? The military and some commercial planes are spraying us with what are called chemtrails. I want you to look at the and oftentimes before there's a weather front, there are heavy assaults, from these planes just before a weather front is changed and comes in. Military and some commercial jets have been fitted with huge barrels of at least 49 different kinds of documented chemical poisons. Among other documented ingredients in this toxic man made clouds are path are pathogenic molds, fungi, weaponized viruses, and made in some places like, of the secret site at Fort Detrick, Maryland, which is supposed to be a cancer site. But there are a number of scholars and professors tracking this that have big questions about this. Barium and nanoaluminum particles. What these do to the human body? Barium is an alkaline earth mineral. It was discovered in 17/74. At low doses, it can act as a muscle stimulant. At high doses, it detrimentally affects the heart and the nervous system. Barium is toxic to all mammals and that means not just humans. Aluminum, which is the most abundant metal in the earth's crust, is known to diminish kidney function and destroy brain cells and cognitive function. Just think about it. Just between the aluminum and the mercury that we're breathing all the time, we've got already a serious issue about, brain function and cognitive function. There is also documented evidence that the aluminum in chemtrails is released as nanoparticles and that when they reach the earth environment for wildlife, the in lakes and streams, it's causing serious, problems with wildlife there. Researchers are also finding that nanoparticles interfere with the growth of plants. Nanotechnology is totally unregulated. Just this past, month, a new research report, came out, showing and documenting for the first time that these nanoparticles actually go through the skin. Well, if you breathe them, whether they go through the skin or whether you're inhaling them, it's still a problem, a serious problem. Other toxic chemicals that have been documented include ammonia, ammonium chloride, bismuth, cadmium, one of the most toxic elements also in, the environment. Hexobromobenzene lead, potassium iodine, potassium perchlorate, sulfur, and xylene. This is just a toxic spew of carcinogens, serious respiratory and skin irritants, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal toxicants. I'm asking, is there a relationship between asthma, now the number 3 killer in the United States, and staggering rates of it for small children, up from number 10 a decade ago in the chemtrails. According to Clifford Carnacom, who's been studying chemtrails for 9 years now, and I met with him to discuss this in detail, this summer. Quote, the true nature of these aerosol operations remain undisclosed and closed to fair examination by the public. All of this is being done by stealth to keep us in ignorance. There is a long, long history in the United States, tragically, not the kind of history that you learn in college textbooks, about secret chemical exposure to which Americans were subjected. I'd like to read you just a few of them. In 1931, doctor Cornelius Rhodes, under the auspices of the Institute for Medical Investigations, infected human subjects with cancer cells. They were not told about it. He later went on to establish the US Army Biological Warfare Facility in Maryland, Utah, and Panama, and then was named to the US Atomic Energy Commission. While there, he began a series of series of radiation exposures experiments on American soldiers and civilians in in hospitals. In 1942, chemical warfare services began mustard gas experiences on approximately 4,000 servicemen. The experiments continued until 1945 and made use of the 7th day Adventist who chose to become human guinea pigs rather than serve on duty. 1965, prisoners in, a prison in Philadelphia were subjected to dioxin. Dioxin is so toxic. It is a byproduct of, chlorine when it breaks down, whether it's in, Clorox or in tampons. And a teaspoon could literally kill the entire planet. Dioxin is a carcinogen, and it's part of agent orange, that was suspected even before, the military used it, for Desert Storm. In 1996, the Department of Defense admits that Desert Storm exposure for all of the military, was they were exposed to chemical agents including, Agent Orange. So I have questions. Questions that have to be part of an urgently needed public discussion and outcry. When is this gonna stop? Obviously, you don't know, and I would urge you there outside. There are, there's a list of websites that you can go to, not just the Clifford Carnacombs, but this is the most, his website is the most well documented one with lots of medical information. I've talked to over a 100 doctors just in this past 6 months, naturopaths, MDs, all sorts of people in health care, and there, we have staggering rates of upper respiratory and cardiovascular problems that we never used to have. There's a brand new emerging field, and that's called environmental cardiology, and they are not even dealing with the issues of, weather modifications and chemtrails. I'd like to know how are the real drought conditions by nature exacerbated by a constant spew of aerosols in the chemtrails? How much of global warming or climate change is actually caused by 1,000,000,000 of tons of these aerosols that have been sprayed over us for the last 8 years without our permission. It's not just c 02 emissions that we have to deal with, but we have to deal with weather modification. How is weather modification by the military destabilizing our planet's natural plant, natural weather? A controversial weather modification bill was just just passed. Bush just signed it to to the 100th and 9th, congress. There was no public discussion. These bills did not include any agricultural, water, EPA, or public representatives and did not have any provisions for congressional state county or public oversight of either expenditures, medical, and or environmental consequences. In other words, we've really been guinea pigs for at least the last 8 years with literally every breath we take. 7 days a week, 365 days a year. What we are breathing now, as one of my dear friends says, the indoor air is just the same. What the indoor air is is just the outdoor air inside. In addition, the Pentagon is on record this summer as saying it wants to resume open air testing of biologic weapons. There's a flyer outside on this with some research that professor Francis Boyle has done, and he's been quoted recently as saying the Pentagon is fully prepared to launch biological warfare, yet much of this technology is being used on us without our permission. We are signatories to no germ warfare and to the Nuremberg trials.

If you think she I lying about the 2025 statement, I found a 1996 USAF document called: “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025” It lays out “scenarios” in which this technology will potentially be used in the future to modify weather worldwide for various purposes. Bill Gates discussed free speech on CNBC, emphasizing the need for boundaries when it comes to inciting violence or discouraging vaccinations. In response, I believe he should refrain from involvement in these matters and stop funding organizations that undermine constitutional rights. His discontent with criticism of his products doesn't justify infringing on fundamental rights or equating dissent with violence.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Bill Gates recently on CNBC: “We should have free speech but if you’re inciting violence or if you are causing people to not take vaccines, where is the boundaries?” The boundaries are that Bill Gates should stay out of it completely and quit funding techno-fascist organizations to undermine the constitution. Just because he doesn’t like people discouraging his terrible and yet highly profitable products doesn’t mean he gets to usurp fundamental rights and equate them with “causing violence”.

Misinformation is a problem now handed to the younger generation, as making information available didn't guarantee people wanting correct information. Online harassment, as experienced by the speaker's daughter and her friends, highlighted this issue. Context matters, as people seek correct information for medical advice but may prioritize shared views in their communities. The boundaries of free speech need to be defined, especially regarding inciting violence or discouraging vaccinations. Rules are needed, but with billions of online activities, AI might be necessary to enforce them, as delayed action can result in irreversible harm.

Speaker 0: Misinformation is the one where I a little bit had to punt and say, okay, we've handed this problem to the younger generation. You know, my naivete that when we made information available, that people would want correct information. Hearing my daughter talk about how she'd been harassed online and how her friends experienced that quite a bit, you know, brought that, into focus in a way that I hadn't thought about before. We have context where we want correct information, like hopefully when we want medical advice, but then we kind of like in our, you know, community and Enclave having shared views that, kind of pull us together. We should have free speech, but if you're inciting violence, if you're causing people not to take vaccines, where are those boundaries that even the US, should, you know, have rules? And then if you have rules, you know, what is it? Is there some AI that encodes those rules because you have billions of activity and, you know, if you catch it a day later, the harm is is done.

Imagine you just watched your entire house disappear over a cliff, you and your wife are stranded, a private helicopter finally sees you, rescues your wife and when they return to rescue you, they apologize that they can’t because the “authorities” threatened the pilot with arrest if they did.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Volunteer helicopter pilot Jordan Soodam rescued Susan Coffey from a cliff where she and her husband, Mike, were stranded after a storm washed away their home. Soodam was allegedly threatened with arrest by a Lake Lure fire official if he returned to rescue Mike. Mike and Susan were stranded for two and a half days, surviving on limited supplies. They signaled for help, and Soodam responded, taking Susan to a command post. Susan witnessed Soodam speaking with a Michigan fireman who told him to rescue Mike. However, upon landing, fire officials were unhappy with Soodam's unsanctioned rescue. Soodam informed Mike he couldn't return due to the arrest threat, leaving Mike behind. Mike then hiked down and was rescued by a Michigan crew who confirmed Susan's safety.

Speaker 0: Tonight, for the first time since we showed you the rescue attempt of a Lake Lure couple stranded on a cliff, we now know what happened to the husband. He was left behind after the volunteer chopper pilot who saved his wife was forced to end that rescue effort under the threat of arrest by a Lake Lure fire official. Here's Queen City News chief investigator, Jody Barr. Speaker 1: I was able to look him up a few minutes after I left. And who is this? His title online is the assistant chief of Lake Lure Fire and Rescue. Speaker 2: This is the man volunteer helicopter pilot Jordan Soodam said threatened to arrest him if he made one more trip up a Lake Lure mountain to rescue another person. Just minutes before, a couple waves sit him down as he passed overhead. Mike and Susan Coffey were stranded on a cliff after the storm washed away their home in the land it sat on. Speaker 3: We could see the water starting to get much more, violent. Right? And we could see trees start to go down, and the water levels start to rise, but we kinda thought we were safe because we were so high up. And then we started to hear a lot of noises. Speaker 1: Rumbling. This rumbling. Speaker 4: It wasn't thunder. What's this weird rumbling? Speaker 3: Yeah. Which were trees falling rocks. You know? So it got a little bit frightening at that point. We actually sat there, and then we watched our house go. The the cliff just dropped. That whole side of the road, the the cliff just dropped off. Right? All of the trees and, dirt and everything else just started collapsing. Speaker 2: For the next two and a half days, the couple slept in their car, surviving on 2 bottles of water and 2 bags of chips. Speaker 4: Friday night. I mean, we had no water. We had the potato chips. We're also dehydrating. Like, that was a great pick. You know? But so by the next morning, we were starting to get worried again of what we would have to be able to drink. We started to see helicopters go over. So every time we Speaker 1: heard a copter, we'd just run out and start waving. There was Speaker 4: a big pile of rocks at the house next door, so we did a big SOS sign in the cul de sac with the rocks. And, just staying at the moment, to stay positive and not worry too much. And then we saw this small black helicopter fly, and we were waving at it, and it stopped and Speaker 3: it actually stopped. Speaker 4: Well, yeah, it circled over us. Speaker 2: When you saw that helicopter make a u-turn and start coming toward you, what what was going through your mind at that moment? Speaker 3: Thank god. Thank god somebody saw us. Somebody was trying Speaker 1: to help somewhere. So that was the first time somebody actually stopped and acknowledged that we were there. And so Mike says, of course, for me to go first, he'll stay there with the Speaker 4: cat, and then Jordan's all come back and get you. Speaker 2: Sidum left his son with Mike Coffey and flew Susan to what Sidum described as a command post 3 minutes away near Lake Lure. Speaker 4: So we land, and I I get out of the helicopter, and I go towards them. And so then Jordan is able to come out, and they're just standing there looking very mad and very annoyed. And so who are you? You know? And and I didn't realize he had just taken upon himself, followed his heart to come help rescue people. And, and this communication is so down. It's hard to know who to let know that he has this free airspace that he can go do this. So he was telling them who he was and what he was Speaker 1: doing, and they just were Speaker 4: just not happy. They weren't happy about it. And, they he said, this is our how do you work? Like, this is our mission. This is our operation. We we can't just have you flying in and out. And so he was trying to tell them. Jordan was telling them, well, I can't just leave her husband. I don't want I don't wanna separate a family. So if you just let me go back and get her husband, and then I'll bring him here, then I'll take my son, and we'll we'll go. Speaker 2: 1 of the Michigan firemen, Sudoum, says he spoke to and who gave him radio frequencies to help coordinate with them, told him to do whatever he had to. Susan Coffey witnessed that conversation. Speaker 4: Pretty much told him in a way, break the rule. Just go get her go get the husband so that they can be reunited. So that's why I thought that it was okay that he was gonna be able to go get him. I didn't know that then he was threatened with arrest. He was told just to leave, and, so I thought he was gonna go get my husband. And, Speaker 3: he informed me when he got there. And when I got to the door, he said, I am so sorry, but I'm told if I bring you back that I'm gonna be arrested, and I can't take you back with me. And in fact, I was told I couldn't come get my copilot, my son. I just told him I'm not gonna leave my son here. He said, I am so sorry. I don't know what to tell you, but I need to take my son, and we're gonna leave. And they've told me they're aware of what where you are, and you will be rescued. He takes off. I had no idea where my wife was. I couldn't comprehend what was going on. Like, how did this make sense? And when, if ever, I was gonna be reunited with her, how long it would take for some other rescue crew to get back to me. So that was the most stressful part of the whole experience. I can watch my house go. I can watch our neighbors' houses go. We were together. Right? And and we knew each other was safe. And when he left, that thought, right, just kind of disappeared. Like, okay. I don't know what's gonna happen from here. Speaker 2: Coffey hiked down the cliff and found what he believes is that same Michigan rescue crew from the command post. Speaker 3: Probably 20, 25 minutes later, I saw a rescue crew across the river, and I was waving them down. And I was able to get down the banks to our side of the river where I could at least yell and communicate across the river saying, do you have my wife? Do you know where my wife is? And they were giving me the thumbs up. Speaker 2: They used ropes to drag him across the raging debris filled river to safety. Speaker 3: And the very first thing he said to me was, are you okay? Are you Mike Coffey? We've got your wife. So she's safe. So at that point, I could relax, you know, knowing that she was safe. You know, those guys also, they came down from Michigan. They don't know us from anybody. They were willing to put their lives on the line. You know, they're Speaker 1: they're also heroes in the story.

I shared a shocking account of how a man was unknowingly sedated multiple times over 16 months. Each time, while he was incapacitated, a team of caregivers and a nurse would enter his room to administer the Covid vaccine, using a hidden syringe to avoid triggering his fear of needles. The narrative reveals a disturbing breach of trust and ethics in the care he received.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

It doesn’t get anymore evil than this. 😡 “Unbeknown to him, on five separate occasions over the last 16 months those drinks were laced with a “covert anxiolytic medication” – a powerful sedative. Twice he became groggy before eventually succumbing to a deep sleep.” “Each time, a team of senior carers, a nurse and the home’s manager stood quietly outside the room awaiting the nod to enter. One of them was armed with a syringe – kept well hidden due to Adam’s needle phobia - loaded with the Covid vaccine.” “When the sedatives worked, Adam’s sleeve was quickly rolled up, the antiseptic wipe swiped over his upper arm and the needle inserted deep into his muscle as the plunger was pressed emptying the syringe barrel of its viscous contents. “

I came across a compelling article discussing the troubling side effects of SSRIs, highlighting that many users quit due to intolerable reactions, with a significant percentage developing bipolar disorder or sexual dysfunction. I also watched a BBC Panorama program titled “The Secrets of Seroxat,” which exposed GlaxoSmithKline's unethical practices regarding their drug paroxetine. The program revealed the devastating impact on minors and the company's efforts to conceal data about increased suicidal behavior, leaving me outraged at the industry's lack of accountability.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

Another remarkable article by A Midwestern Doctor “For example, numerous large studies show half of those prescribed SSRIs (typically to “feel better”) quit using them because they cannot tolerate their side effects, 20-40% of users develop bipolar disorder, over half of users develop sexual dysfunction, half of SSRI users experience significant withdrawals when they stop the drugs.”

This program by the BBC Panorama entitled “The Secrets of Seroxat” aired in 2002. It’s the final installment of a 3 part secrets that exposed the abject immorality of the drug manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline. If you are not familiar with Study 329 which studied the effects of GlaxoSmithKline’s drug paroxetine on under-18s I urge you to look into it. It is one of the biggest pharmaceutical scandals in history and resulted in GSK being fined $3 Billion by the Justice Department but by this time the damage had been done and they had already made $11.6 Billion in profits from the drug. Listen to the stories of parents who found their children hanging in their homes because the drug drove them to suicide and realize how evil this industry truly is. The kicker? GSK knew years before that it increased suicidal behavior in minors and buried the data so that they could prescribe it off-label to a larger market. How anyone can put their trust in this industry and our regulatory bodies ever again, let alone their own children’s lives, is beyond comprehension. You will be left enraged after watching this. GSK shouldn’t exist for what they have done to people, just like their industry peers and yet they pay a fine, no one goes to prison and it’s business as usual.

The Hummingbird Study allows kids to participate in science and contribute to medical research. According to Peter Johnston, a pastor with four children in the study, the COVID stuffed animal helped his family discuss their participation. One speaker noted that children are often more enthusiastic about the study than their parents, driven by the idea of contributing to new discoveries. Researchers obtain parental consent, answer all questions, gather medical history, and ensure participant comfort. The study involves lab work and vaccinations, with participants monitored for 30 minutes afterward. Future steps are then explained. The study is still recruiting families, and researchers hope to reach their goal, noting that the volunteer spirit and interest in contributing to a good cause is still alive.

Speaker 0: My name is Peter Johnston. I am a pastor in Lafayette, Louisiana and, we have 7 kids, 4 of which are enrolled in Hummingbird Study. The Hummingbird Study is a great opportunity to, participate in science to contribute to medical research. The kids are are interested in study and some of the different things that they, get and and allow them to think about it. So, for example, the, COVID stuffed animal has been a, a hit in the household, not only because it's fun, but because it gives us an opportunity to talk about what it is that we're doing. Speaker 1: Well, the kids at times were far more excited than the parents, and they're the one who drove the parents to enjoy the study. And, many many kids, like the idea of, being a first, in exploring something or discovering something or contributing to a new discovery. Speaker 2: The first thing that we do is we make sure we get the consent of the parent. We make sure we answer all questions before we start any of the study procedures. And then from there, we'll go into getting, kind of a background on the participant. We'll get their medical history. We'll make sure they're comfortable with everything that we're doing. And then we go in, we get a few labs. And from getting the labs, we go in into the vaccination part of the visit. And then afterwards, we keep them here for 30 minutes on-site just to make sure they're feeling okay, they're still doing well. And then we kind of explain the following steps of the next visits. Speaker 1: The volunteer spirit and the interest in, contributing to a good cause is still alive and well. We still are, recruiting more families to join us in the study and, hoping to reach our goal.

Video Transcript AI Summary
An AI system was developed using camera footage of people in a space, combined with Wi-Fi router sonar data, to predict human locations. The camera was then removed, leaving the AI with only radio signal data. The AI was able to reconstruct real-time 3D pose estimations using only the language of radio signals. This effectively turns every Wi-Fi router into a camera that works in the dark and is specifically designed for tracking living beings.

Speaker 0: Although what they did is they had, you know, a camera looking at a space with people in it, that's sort of like coming in from one eye. The other eye is the radio signals, so sonar from the Wi Fi router, and they just learned to predict, like, this is where the human beings are. Then they took away the camera. So all the AI had was the language of radio signals bouncing around a room, and this is what they're able to reconstruct. Real time three d pose estimation. Right? So suddenly AI has turned every Wi Fi router into a camera that can work in the dark, specially tuned for tracking living beings.

The Secret Government: The Constitution in Crisis A 1987 Special Report by Bill Moyers After much searching I finally located this mini-documentary about the history of Iran-Contra which is one of the biggest and most revealing scandals in American history. I shared insights about the CIA's historical ties to the mob, starting with the S.S. Normandie incident in 1942, which led to Operation Underworld. This partnership allowed the mob to control narcotics flow into the U.S., with profits funneled through a shell company to support clandestine operations in Europe. These operations, justified as anti-communist measures, resulted in false flag attacks and widespread heroin addiction. I also recommended following @Eyes_wideopentv for more on this topic, highlighting his valuable videos and support options.

@JoshWalkos - Champagne Joshi

The History of the CIA: Mafia Allies and the Beginning of the Global Drug Connection Did you know that on February 9, 1942, the S.S. Normandie, recently renamed the U.S.S. Lafayette, was set on fire in New York Harbor by mafia connected dock workers who then blamed it on Germany? The Office of Naval Intelligence was embarrassed by this perceived security lapse so they approached the mob and asked them to protect the docks moving forward to ensure something like the S.S. Normandie “attack” didn’t happen again. This deal gave birth to Operation Underworld and the thus started the close relationship between the US Security State and the mob, guaranteeing that Luciano and the mob would have complete control and flow of narcotics from Europe and Cuba into the US. The drug money was then deposited into the coffers of “The General Development Corporation” a shell company created and owned by then OSS Official Paul Helliwell and mob boss Meyer Lansky. The money was then sent to the Sicilian mob in Italy by then run by Luciano who had reorganized it and would facilitate the distribution of the funds to the underground Gladio networks (secret stay behind armies) throughout Europe post WWII. These Gladio networks would go on to perpetuate false flag terrorist attacks all over Europe to be blamed on left wing groups and communists. This is all justified under the pretense of “stopping the spread of communism” in Europe. However, hundreds of innocent people were killed in these attacks with weapons that were obtained via the funds funneled to them from the drug trade, facilitated by the mob, the OSS/CIA, NATO and Vatican connected operatives. This also created a worldwide heroin addiction problem that still reverberates across the world today.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Following World War II, Paul Helliwell proposed Operation X to Dulles, Donovan, and Angleton: the OSS/CIA would fund illegal activities by facilitating the global heroin trade through organized crime, using the New York jazz scene as a testing ground. Frank Wisner and James Jesus Angleton partnered with Meyer Lansky, who ran the finances via a shell company with Helliwell. Lansky was connected to Lucky Luciano, who had worked with Chinese warlords to import heroin. After the SS Normandie attack, the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) struck a deal with Luciano (Operation Underworld) for dock security in exchange for his release and deportation to Sicily. Opium from Indochina was shipped through Afghanistan, synthesized into heroin in Sicilian (later Marseilles) labs, and sent to Cuban labs controlled by Santo Trafficante, then to Luciano's New York docks. The heroin was sold in Harlem, and the money funneled into the General Development Corporation, then to the Sicilian mob, and finally to the Gladio network. Operation X was successful, leading to a rise in heroin addiction and establishing narcotics as a key CIA funding source.

Speaker 0: In the wake of this fallout, Hellywell hatched another plan, which he presented to Donovan, Angleton, and Dulles. This one modeled after their recent drug smuggling stint for Chiang Kai shek in China. Now it's important to note that during the 2nd World War, opium addiction had dramatically declined in the United States. This was largely due to increased security measures established at ports across the US. There was a fear that Axis spies would smuggle their way into the United States through one of these ports, or even worse, a German u boat would bombard the harbors of America's coast. The increased military and police presence across US docks during the war dramatically reduced heroin imports into the country. This was furthered by massive disruption to the old shipping lanes through the Pacific from China and the Atlantic from refineries in Marseille and Turkey. The only heroin that was entering the US during World War 2 was from Mexico, and that product was bad, being less than 3% pure and sometimes containing no opium at all. Many addicts in the US were forced to undergo involuntary withdrawal, and the number of addicts in the United States dropped to 20,000 by the war's end, a negligible amount. With heroin addiction almost eradicated in the United States in 1945, it was only a select few Americans that continued to consume the narcotic during the forties. One major group of heroin users was the burgeoning African American jazz clubs in New York City. Heroin had become a fashionable drug for the emerging music scene, and the drug was exceedingly expensive, costing as much as $100 for a hit in the forties. Paul Helliwell was acutely aware of this scarcity and massive profit margins of this illegal narcotic. And he knew the existence of the small Harlem heroin market from his work in China with international heroin smugglers. From these connections, he developed a plan that would allow American intelligence to persist without government funding in the shadows and totally unaccountable. Hellywell's master plan, which he code named Operation X, was presented to Dulles, Donovan, and Angleton. It went as so. The OSS and later the CIA would facilitate the global heroin trade through a network of organized crime elements and warlords to fund their illegal activities post war using the growing New York jazz scene as a testing ground. This was the miracle that Wild Bill and the OSS officers needed in the wake of Truman's hard line approach to their poor performance during the war. The agents in the OSS immediately got to work implementing operation x. Just as a warning, it's about to get really complicated here, folks, so hang with me. Let's begin. Frank Wisner, the head of covert operations in the future CIA, alongside James Jesus Angleton, the head of counterintelligence, developed a working relationship with Meyer Lansky, often considered the most prolific and wealthy mafia boss in US history. Lansky had successfully united the Jewish, Italian, and Irish Irish mobs into a massive nationwide structure termed the National Crime Syndicate. Lansky was deeply connected to organized crime across the country, becoming a millionaire as a bootlegger during the prohibition in thirties and introducing the mob to legal gambling enterprises in Cuba, where he owned several casinos. Let's quickly put a pin in the Cuban mob connection for now. This will become a very important point when talking about the Kennedy assassination, so remember this for later. (zero zero six:fourteen) Lansky was considered the mob's accountant and the mastermind behind the sprawling criminal social network that developed throughout the US. Meyer Lansky was integral to the OSS's Operation X as he ran all the financial aspects of this global network in partnership with Paul Helliwell himself through a shell company they created called the General Development Corporation, which was based in Miami. Now Meyer Lansky was a close associate to Sicilian American mob boss Lucky Luciano, who was one of the other bosses in this national crime syndicate. Lucky Luciano had worked since the end of prohibition with Chinese warlords in Shanghai and Tientsin to import heroin to the United States. At this time, many mobsters disavowed drug smuggling as a, quote, unmanly activity. Luciano was undeterred by the taboo surrounding heroin at the time and had a meteoric rise as a major heroin dealer and most importantly a pimp in New York City until his arrest and sentencing for 35 years of hard time in 1936 for 62 counts of prostitution. In a strange turn of faith, though, his criminal associates in New York devised a scheme to get him out of prison early. In 1942, the SS Normandy, a French luxury cruise ship that had been converted into a troop transport during the war, was set ablaze by Luciano's cronies in the New York City Harbor. As previously mentioned, US harbors across the country were on high alert during the 2nd World War in fear of Nazi U Boat attacks. The attack on the SS Normandie was immediately blamed on the Nazis by Luciano's associates who controlled the New York Dock Workers Union. The US Office of Naval Intelligence or the ONI, caught off guard and embarrassed, were forced to approach the Luciano controlled dock workers union asking for support in securing the docks and ensuring that another event such as the SS Normandie didn't happen again. At this intersection, a deal was struck that would later be classified as Operation Underworld. Operation Underworld comprised a series of liaisons between the ONI and American mafia figures for support in domestic coastal security and the upcoming invasion of Sicily in 1943. The Office of Naval Intelligence made a deal with Lucky Luciano from his cell in upstate New York to have him secure the docks in return for his early release from prison and deportation to his native homeland of Sicily in Southern Italy. Operation underworld guaranteed that Luciano's mob controlled dock union would have complete control over New York Harbor security, guaranteeing the free flow of narcotics from European and Cuban heroin labs. Furthermore, Luciano would eventually be released from prison in 1946 and shipped off to Sicily where he would get to work to reorganize the Sicilian mafia that had been decimated under Mussolini's fascist government. Okay. So let me try my best to summarize here at this point just because, there is a lot of things going on and I know that this is a confusing and dizzying, sort of history. But remember, it is this way on purpose. This is not meant to be a transparent history. Alright. Let's give it a go. So the simplified pipeline of funds went like this. Opium was grown in the plateaus of Indochina controlled by the nationalist Chinese and Thai warlords that the OSS had helped establish. This opium would be shipped by land across Central Asia. Notice through Afghanistan, a key target of CIA activities in the seventies eighties, and also the future opium producing capital of the world. For the first test run by Helliwell, the opium was synthesized in Sicilian heroin labs run by the Italian pharmaceutical company known as Schiaparelli. In the 19 fifties sixties, however, Chinese opium was synthesized in drug labs in Marseille in Southern France, controlled by the Corsican Mob, who would be instrumental in weakening the French Communist party in the 19 fifties and taking control of the French dock workers union. This is what the 1971 film, The French Connection was on as this famous trade route between China, France, and the US would be nicknamed The French Connection. For Hellywell's test run-in the 19 forties, however, the pure heroin was shipped by the Sicilian Mob in crates of fake wax oranges or sardine cans to the Cuban labs controlled by Santo Trafficante, a mob figure that we have not discussed yet but who will continue to come up especially in relation to the Kennedy assassination. In Trafficante's Cuban Labs, the pure heroin was cut with sugar to increase profit margins. Cuba would be used as a heroin hub until Fidel Castro's revolution in 19 fifties kicked out all the Italian American mobsters, creating an even stronger bond between the security state and the mafia. Finally, the cut heroin was shipped from Cuba to the Luciano controlled docks in New York, where the drugs were sold to African American jazz artists and patrons in Harlem, turning narcotics into an unaccountable cash source. Later in this history, the heroin would be shipped across the United States in trucks controlled by mobster Jimmy Hoffa's Teamsters Union. Again, Jimmy Hoffa will be a very important character when discussing both John and Robert Kennedy later in the series. So the unaccountable drug money from the Jazz Clubs and the Harlem streets was then funneled into General Development Corporation coffers, the shell company created by Helliwell and Meyer Lansky in Miami. This was one of many such shell companies and banks that would emerge throughout this history. This unaccountable company cash was then diverted to the Sicilian mob organized once again by Lucky Luciano who had recently been deported to his home island, and finally, the Sicilian mob would distribute the funds to the underground far right network that made up Gladio, namely mafia elements, former fascists, secret armies, and the topic of our next video, Vatican officials. And that in an overly simplified way was Heliwell's operation x, otherwise known as the French Connection. His test run-in the late 19 forties was a massive success as heroin became a mainstay of the Harlem jazz scene and began to spread throughout the United States and Europe. Narcotics would cement themselves as one of the main currencies used by the future CIA to fund its actions across the globe. This came at a cost, however, creating a new generation of heroin addicts across the globe at a time when heroin addiction was almost completely eradicated in the United States. But the bankers, the lawyers and business elites in the OSS didn't care. If anything, the rise in addiction in American working class only further entrenched their position in the American bourgeois society.

A 10 year old girl is interviewed who is being forced to marry a 25 year old man who she is related to. I can’t believe this level of depravity is allowed to happen. This isn’t “culture”, it is legalized pedophilia. https://t.co/gQlAkCDNnS

I shared a comparison between a Paralympic break dancer and a PhD in Cultural Studies. The thesis, titled “Deterritorializing gender in Sydney's breakdancing scene: a B-girl's experience of B-boying,” is quite something. You can even download it if you're curious.
