This does not surprise me at all. CONFESSION - VICPOL senior brass offered me the opportunity to have an 'exemption' if I stayed quiet. This was during ongoing correspondence with the Chief Commissioners office about the proposal of vaccine mandates across the entire organization. I was leading those discussions on behalf of around 200 members. We have email correspondence of those negotiations (that led no where) It was a verbal offer naturally (they're not that stupid to put it in writing). But I absolutely believe my case was not unique, and it's why we saw no senior leaders speak out.
