I'm worried about Donald Trump's recent comments on bizarre topics like sharks and electric boats. His rants are so concerning that even Fox News won't air them. Stephen King captured it perfectly, comparing it to listening to a senile uncle after too many drinks.

Former Trump aide Griffin: For the first time in my life, I voted for a Democrat. I voted for Kamala Harris. I don't agree with all of her policies, but today it's about a brighter future. I think the best thing for the country is that Donald Trump loses and Kamala Harris is elected

Four years ago, I was at the White House on election night when Arizona was called for Joe Biden, signaling Trump's likely loss. I believed he deserved to lose and thought the Republican Party would rebuild without him. This weekend, I voted for a Democrat for the first time, Tom O'Hara, while still voting for Republicans down ballot. I view my vote as a loan, driven by concerns about Trump's potential direction for the country. As a Christian, American, and Republican, I seek a leader who shares my values—someone kind and decent who can unite the country. While I may disagree with some policies, my focus is on a brighter future, believing it's crucial for Trump to lose for the sake of the Republican Party and the nation.

Speaker 0: So I've been 4 years ago today, I was in the White House with Donald Trump on election night. I was there standing next one of his cabinet officials when Arizona was called for Joe Biden and when it became increasingly clear that he was gonna lose. And I believed he deserved to lose that night. At that, point, I thought he hadn't fought to win the election. But I thought the next 4 years would be the Republican party rebuilding and becoming something I could believe in and turning its the page on Donald Trump, and it didn't do that. So this weekend, on Saturday, for the first time in my life, I voted for a Democrat. Yeah. I voted for Tom O'Hara. Yes. I then voted down ballot for Republicans. I consider my vote on loan to her. I'm worried about the direction that Donald Trump will take this country, and I take my own warning seriously. What I saw is very real. I don't think as somebody who's a I'm a Christian. I'm an American, and I'm a Republican in that order, and I need somebody who shares my values. I need somebody who's a kind and decent person who will bring this country together. But today, it's about a brighter future, and I think the best thing for the country and the future of the Republican party is that Donald Trump lose and Kamala Harris' election.

Q: How is your plan for putting millions of immigrants into mass detention camps possible? Trump: You take a young woman with two beautiful children and you put her on a bus... Q: So even women and children? Trump: We’re gonna look at it very closely https://t.co/rVdXHeIFEL

Speaker 0 questions the practicality of a mass deportation program, particularly concerning families with American-citizen children, suggesting a single negative image could halt the entire program. Speaker 1 acknowledges that deporting a woman with children, resulting in media coverage, would complicate the effort. Speaker 0 then asks for confirmation of support for mass deportation, "even of women and children." Speaker 1 responds that they will look at it very closely, noting that the deportation of even one "wrong person" could be exploited by the "radical left lunatics."

Speaker 0: You've talked about a mass deportation program. How is that practically possible? Because a lot of the millions of people have had children here who are American citizens. And don't you think the first time there is an image on television of a family tearfully being told to board a bus, that that whole program would end? Speaker 1: That's right. If you take a young woman with 2 beautiful children and you put her on a bus and it ends up on the front page of every newspaper, it makes it a lot harder. Speaker 0: So yes to mass deportation even of women Speaker 1: and children So, we're gonna look at it very closely. Are you the way you phrase it is exactly right. Speaker 0: I think the the thing that we have to take away from the last 10 years is that we really need to be really ruthless when it comes to the exercise of power. I was talking about this with with someone earlier today, where you remember there was some threat that congressional or senate Republicans made. If you get rid of the filibuster, we're gonna do x, y, and z. And you actually look at it. It's, like, oh, this is this is not that interesting. We're gonna actually deliver on our promises that we've made for. Right. Sounds, you know, this the the, you know, you this is this is the threat. Do you get rid of the filibuster? We're gonna do this stuff. Like, they're talking about expanding the Supreme Court. They're talking about adding, you know, 2 senators from heavily democratic places. You get rid of the filibuster, we'll us that you know we don't wanna do. Yeah. So I I think, I mean, look, I am a cynic about this and and maybe even a little bit of a pessimist, but I think the challenge confronting American conservatives is that we have lost every major powerful institution in the country, except for maybe churches and religious institutions, which of course are weaker now than they've ever been. We have lost big business. We've lost finance. We've lost the culture. We've lost the academy. And if we're going to actually really affect real change in the country, it will require us completely replace replacing the existing ruling class with another ruling class. I say that knowing and hearing myself, it sounds really hard. It is really hard, but I don't think there's like a detent with these people. I don't think there's sort of a compromise that we're gonna come with the people who currently actually control the country. Unless we overthrow them in some way, we're gonna keep losing. And that's the challenge. Now it's

Speaker 0: You used the right word. We are being conquered. This is a complete resettlement of America in real time. It took 100 of years, going back long even before our founding, going back all the way to the earliest days of the colonies in America to slowly build everything that we have. And now when you have millions of people coming in from different cultures and different ways of living and different belief systems. They're gonna take those belief systems with them to America. So a generation from now, I am telling you, Jesse, people will not know the country that they are living in. These consequences are permanent. Unless there is massive, large scale deportations by the millions, it will be irrevocable.
