Almost 12 years ago, I was diagnosed with an aggressive and deadly breast cancer, age 46 with 4 school age children; ‘Locular invasive grade 3 breast cancer with a high pleomorphic presentation’. Deadly! Following surgery I declined chemotherapy, radiotherapy, Tamoxifen, and Zolodex. . Surgery was within a month of diagnosis privately, A decision that I regretted as soon as I read the studies! But immediate reconstruction was my choice at that time and I have made the best of it with annual scans to check in on the integrity.
