Checklist for summary approach: - Identify and preserve central claim: Operation Northwoods as a 1962 plan by top U.S. military leaders to stage terrorist acts in the U.S. - List the specific proposed actions exactly as described: shoot down planes, drown refugees, bomb Miami, attack Washington, remote-controlled aircraft, fake passenger lists. - Note the stated purpose: to justify invading Cuba and to maximize emotional impact on the American public. - Highlight key decision point and outcome: Kennedy refused to sign; one signature stood between approval and mass murder by the U.S. government. - Mention declassification detail: documents remained buried for forty years before revealing how close the U.S. came to state-sponsored terrorism. - Maintain factual sequence and avoid evaluative or opinionated language. - Translate any non-English elements (not applicable here). Summary: In 1962, America's top generals approved Operation Northwoods, a classified CIA proposal that would stage fake terrorist attacks across the United States. The plan, described as something the Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on “every horrific detail,” envisioned a series of provocations intended to be laid at the feet of Cuba. The scope included shooting down passenger planes filled with innocent Americans and then blaming Cuba for the massacres, with the aim of generating public outrage that could be used to justify a U.S. invasion. The proposed targets spanned major locations and events: Miami would be bombed; Washington, D.C. would face coordinated terrorist strikes; and Cuban refugees fleeing to America would be deliberately drowned at sea, their deaths used as propaganda to sway opinion. The plan also called for remote-controlled aircraft to crash into buildings, while fake passenger lists would be released to the press to lend credibility to the staged events. In addition to these acts, the military calculated exactly how many civilians would need to die to justify invading Cuba, with each attack designed for maximum emotional impact on the American public. The overarching intent was to manufacture a pretext for intervention through carefully orchestrated acts of terror on U.S. soil. President John F. Kennedy read the proposal and refused to sign it, with “one signature” standing between approval and the mass murder of American citizens by their own government. The documents stayed buried for forty years until declassification revealed how close the United States came to state-sponsored terrorism.

There are almost a million illegal Israeli settlers living off of American taxes on internationally recognized illegal land settlements. The speaker claims that $40.50 from every American paycheck goes straight to Israel. The speaker suggests that the U.S. could hypothetically have a million unemployed Americans living comfortably for their entire lives with the money being used for Israeli settlers. The speaker, who is unemployed and doesn't pay taxes, says they would be angry if they were a taxpayer. The speaker urges listeners to boycott, divest, and sanction Israel so that they lose money and taxpayers get their money back, concluding with "Fuck Israel."

Speaker 0: I really don't know what's gonna, like, radicalize people more, but this is insane. There are almost a million illegal Israeli settlers living off of your taxes, by the way. Unemployed on illegal land, internationally recognized illegal land settlements using your money, your money, your taxes, the, I don't know, $40.50 dollars that come out of your paycheck going straight to Israel. Yeah. It also means that we could hypothetically have a million unemployed Americans just fucking about for their entire lives having kids, living in homes, having health care, affording food. But no. They get they get it. I'm unemployed. I don't pay taxes. I would be really pissed off right now if I was you if I was you. And with that anger, I would boycott, divest, and sanction Israel so that they lose the money and you get your money back. You get your money back. Fuck Israel.

Tours in Israel, referred to as "resilience tourism" domestically but "genocide tourism" internationally, involve visiting sites to observe the destruction in Gaza. One such location in Steretz allows visitors to use coin-operated binoculars to view Gaza. Matthew Ho, a former US official and Marine veteran, witnessed Israeli school field trips where teenagers traveled to watch the "genocide." These tours are conducted in English for international visitors and are included in Birthright Israel trips and Israeli school curricula. The tours are seen as entertainment, reflecting a dismissal of Palestinians as human beings. Boat tours have also reportedly been organized to view the destruction of Gaza, causing global outrage.

Speaker 0: Tourists and schoolchildren are going on field trips in Israel, but not to museums, instead to watch the destruction of Pazza. Known as resilience tourism in Israel, but as genocide tourism internationally. Speaker 1: We were a mile and a half or so from 300,000 people who were being forcibly starved to death by the Israelis. Speaker 0: That was Matthew Ho, a former USA department official and US marine veteran who recently took this tour in Steretz where visitors use coin operated binoculars to peek into Gaza. Speaker 1: An Israeli school field trip showed up. And these children, these these they're teenagers. They came from two hours away to come and watch the genocide. Speaker 0: The tours are also done in English international visitors and are included in birthright Israel trips for Jewish Americans and for all Israeli school children. Speaker 1: The population sees it as entertainment where you have this complete, dismissal of the Palestinians as human beings but part of their school curriculum. Speaker 0: And it doesn't just stop at the observation platforms. Reportedly, boat tours have been organized to view the destruction of Gaza, sparking outrage worldwide.

When I heard Israel cut off Palestine's water, I wondered why Israel controls Palestine's water supply. Amnesty International's "The Occupation of Water" explains that Israel seized control of Palestinian water resources in the West Bank and Gaza. Palestinians can't construct new water infrastructure without permits from the Israeli army, which are nearly impossible to obtain. They can't drill new wells or access the Jordan River, and Israel even controls rainwater collection. About 180 rural Palestinian communities lack running water, leading to vast disparities. Israelis consume four times more water than Palestinians in the OPT. Palestinians consume an average of 73 liters of water per day, below the WHO's minimum, and as low as 20 liters in rural areas. Israelis consume approximately 300 liters daily. Intentionally depriving people of water, especially children, is abhorrent and requires a dehumanizing narrative to justify it.

Speaker 0: I'm about to blow your mind. See, I don't care where you land on this issue, but if you're a human being, like a fucking human being, right? Hang with me for one second. So as soon as I heard that Israel cut off Palestine's water, my first thought was who the fuck cuts off water to millions of children and civilians during a time of war? What kind of barbaric act is that? And my second thought was, wait. Why the fuck does Israel control Palestine's water? And a brief search got me to this fucking article by Amnesty International titled The Occupation of Water. Alright? Soon after Israel occupied the West Bank, including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military authorities consolidated complete power over all water resources and water related infrastructure in the occupied Palestinian territories, OPT. And I know what you're thinking. Well, they took over existing infrastructure, so build some new ones. Israeli military order one fifty eight stated that Israeli military order one fifty eight stated that Palestinians could not construct any new water installation without first obtaining a permit from the Israeli army. Since then, the extraction of water from any new source, the development of any new want water. Fucking water. Infrastructure would require permits from Israel which are near impossible to obtain. It gets fucking better. They are unable to drill new water wells, install pumps that are deep in existing wells in addition to being denied access to the Jordan River. Right? Israel even controls the collection of rainwater throughout most of the West Bank, and rainwater harvesting cisterns owned by Palestinian communities are often destroyed by the Israeli army. As a result, some 180 Palestinian communities in rural areas in the occupied West Bank have no access to running water. They don't have access to fucking running water, bro. What the fuck is going on here? Because the resulting disparity in access to water between Israelis and Palestinians is truly staggering. Water consumption by Israelis is at least four times that of Palestinians living in the OPT. Palestinians consume an average of 73 liters of water per day per person, which is well below the World Health Organization's recommended daily minimum. Minimum. Motherfucking minimum. In rural areas, it's as low as 20 liters per person per day. And how much water does the Israeli drink? Sure. I'll tell you. By contrast, an average Israeli consumes approximately 300 liters of water per day. You see, we talk a lot about values, but let me tell you something about American values. If I took my fucking dog to a restaurant right now, the server or the owner on their own dime would bring out a cup of water for a stranger's fucking dog for a stranger's fucking dog. This isn't during wartime. This is status quo. What kind of an insidious, fucking sick, fucking government will make it a point to make sure, intentionally, that an entire population stays thirsty? People out here talking about freedom, voting rights, passports, airplanes. Can I get medical? Can I get education? Fucking water. You intentionally deprive a large group of people from having water. You are dehydrating children fucking intentionally. Who the fuck? What is going on here? That's why you gotta make shit up about Palestinians to match the insidious nature of the way that you're treating them. That's fucking disgusting. This is status quo. Water.

I'm not comfortable with the term "useful exercise" when discussing actions related to the ongoing genocide. The priority is to stop the genocide. Whether you call it a ceasefire or something else, that's what matters most. Recognition of Palestine should be automatic. If Canada discusses a two-state solution, why hasn't it recognized Palestine yet? It should be an act of coherence. Beyond recognition, what is being done to realize Palestinian self-determination? Is Canada using its political influence to end the genocide? The ICJ has declared the occupation unlawful and demanded its swift dismantling. What is Canada doing to ensure this happens? Finally, we must address apartheid. International law is clear, and we must end the genocide, occupation, and apartheid to build peace for everyone in that land.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Can I ask about the two state solution? The foreign affairs committee here is studying what they call the quickest path to recognize a Palestinian state by the government of Canada. Do you think that is a useful exercise? Could it lead to peace if Canada does so? Speaker 1: I beg your pardon, but I am not comfortable with language like useful exercise where there is an imagining government officials or parliamentarians entertaining themselves as in useful exercise when there is a genocide ongoing. The priority is to stop the genocide. If the government here, the parliamentarians want to call it ceasefire, call it pear and apple, call it the way you want, but this is the priority. The rest is secondary, which doesn't mean that the recognition of the state of Palestine is not important. My question is if this country has entertained discussions on the two state solution, How come it does not recognize the state of Palestine yet? What is to be debated? So again, recognition of the state of Palestine shouldn't take time, should be automatic, should be an act of coherence. Otherwise, if you don't recognize it, it means that you shouldn't be talking about that at all. Why are you even a voice in the debate? It's about coherence. I know that what I'm saying is blunt, but we need to be blunt because the impunity that has been granted to Israel for decades has led to this, which is a disaster both for the Palestinians and the Israelis. And, again, diplomatic talks has been turned turned into a place to justify the unimaginable, the illegal. So yes, the state of Palestine should be recognized. Let's move on. But the point, the question is not that. The question is self determination. Even if you recognize the state of Palestine and it's merely a perfunctory act, what do you do to realize the right of self determination of the Palestinians? Is Canada spending any of its political capital to make sure that the genocide ends as soon as possible? The ceasefire, whatever. But then there is already a deadline set for the end of the occupation. The ICJ has passed an advisory opinion which declares the occupation unlawful and to be dismantled unconditionally and totally as rapidly as possible. And that as rapid as possible has been defined by the General Assembly. It must happen before by September year. What is Canada doing to ensure that the occupation is dismantled. And then more than this, there is apartheid. I know that in this country, you feel uncomfortable with the word apartheid, but you have to tell me why. Because I, together with Israeli Human Rights Organization, Palestinian Human Rights Organization, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Harvard University and thousands of Israelis talk about apartheid and give you the evidence of it. And here, like in other parts in North America, I hear, we cannot say that word. It's your problem. I don't again, international law is so clear that doesn't allow you to find excuses. So however, end of the genocide, end of the occupation, end of the apartheid. This is what it means applying international law and helping build peace for Palestinians and Israelis and anyone who calls that land home.

A 2-year-old girl, Laila Al Khatib, was tragically killed in the West Bank while having rice pudding with her grandparents, shot by an IDF sniper. Regardless of your views on the conflict, it's important to humanize this situation. Imagine your own child or grandchild at that age, filled with joy during a family meal. Consider the horror experienced by Laila's grandparents as a bullet shattered their moment, leaving them helpless as she lay bleeding. Reflect on the profound grief and despair they must have felt in that moment.

And I just want people in the audience to think about that for a minute. Don't care what side of the debates or geopolitics you're on, but I want you to just humanize it for a minute. I want you to picture your child, your son, your daughter, your grandchild, your niece, your nephew. I want you to picture them as they were when they were 2 years old. I want you to picture the family dinner that you're having and the enjoying the beautiful joy that a 2 year old brings. And just want you to imagine what it must have felt like for the grandparents of Laila Akhetit when a bullet burst through the window and smashed into her skull, And she lay there bleeding to death, and they were helpless. Just think about how you would feel in that moment.

CTV News, Canada's largest media company, has been accused of banning the word "Palestine" and censoring pro-Palestinian messages. Journalists revealed that employees were instructed not to use the word "Palestine" in news coverage or on social media. They were also told not to cover protests calling for a ceasefire or interview anyone advocating for one. CTV News only allowed casualty numbers specific to Israelis, while summarizing Palestinian casualties in vague terms. Palestinian guests were allegedly harassed and disparaged, with only those who cried and refrained from criticizing Israel or calling for a ceasefire being invited back. CTV News quickly removed the only segment that mentioned Palestine. This bias has sparked outrage and accusations of enabling genocide.

Speaker 0: Here's everything you need to know about the biggest news channel in Canada banning the word Palestine and censoring pro Palestinian messages. This is CTV News, Canada's biggest media company worth over $100,000,000,000. Now this week, Their own journalists came out and exposed what they were doing. These journalists shared that CTV News sent out an email to all of their employees telling them Not to use the word Palestine in any news coverage, whether it be on TV or on the social media pages. They were not to cover any protests that called for a ceasefire Nor anybody who called for a ceasefire. And they were also only approved to use casualty numbers that were specific to Israelis. But when it came to Palestinians, they were to summarize by the 100 or the 1,000, not specific numbers. This was an order to downplay what was happening in the Palestinians. These journalists also shared that CTV News harassed and disparaged Palestinian guests. And that Palestinian guests were only approved to be on if they were crying essentially. They couldn't be critical of Israel. They couldn't call for a ceasefire. And if they were, they were not invited back. This was the only piece of CTV News that used the word Palestine, and they Almost immediately took it out. CTV News is biased. This is evil. This is enabling the genocide. What do you guys think about this? That's all for this video. Free Palestine.
